Earlier this week, the bombshell rumor Josh Duggar got Anna Duggar pregnant while in sex addiction rehab program rocked the Internet.
Since then, the Duggars have been radio silent. Does the lack of response signal a confirmation or a denial (or that they just stay offline)?
The alleged pregnancy – we’ll believe it when we see it or get official confirmation – began at Josh’s Illinois faith-based rehab facility.
A source close to the famous family broke the (possible) news this week, dishing, “Anna announced that she thinks she is pregnant again.”
Anna Duggar, 27, “believes the baby is a sign that God has forgiven Josh for his many sins, and she’s vowed to stand by her husband.”
If you read that last sentence and threw up in your mouth, we don’t blame you; Duggar followers can’t really be shocked by it, though.
Josh, also 27, entered treatment in August after he was revealed to have used the extramarital affair-facilitating website Ashley Madison.
The embattled father of four said in a statement at the time that he is a cheater, an online porn addict and the world’s biggest hypocrite.
Pretty much.
Despite rumors of her divorcing him over this, Anna has stood by her man so far and shows little to no sign of even considering leaving.
While Josh has yet to return to his family in Arkansas, she has been spotted visiting her husband of seven years at the facility in Illinois.
There were even reports that Josh wanted another baby with her last fall, and she’s made at least a few trips to see him in recent months.
A baby conceived during a conjugal visit with a man undergoing an intense, Christian sex addiction program would sure be … something.
It’s sort of hard to imagine that happening, and yet, it’s not hard to see Anna accepting his “redemption” and getting knocked up again.
Sad, but true.
Never mind the fact that when she was pregnant with their fourth child – last year – he was reportedly off having sex with Danica Dillon.
Through his attorneys, Josh has responded to the allegations made in a lawsuit by Dillon that he abused her during their alleged affair.
In any case, whether Anna Duggar is pregnant right now or not, we would bet heavily on it happening by the end of 2016 at the latest.
Josh’s parents, Michelle and Jim Bob Duggar, haven’t given any updates since he was shipped off to Reformers Unanimous in disgrace.
