Justin Bieber is one of those celebrities who you love one minute then hate the next.
Fortunately, this is a time of love for the Biebs.
After leaving The Nice Guy restaurant with friends Wednesday night, the “Sorry” singer spotted an old woman lying on the street in West Hollywood.
According to TMZ, the Biebs and his buddies pulled over after hearing her cries for help.
Justin consoled the woman, who appeared to be homeless, as his friends waved down the police for assistance.
The woman told officers she had merely fallen, although eyewitnesses claimed it was a hit-and-run.
An ambulance arrived on the scene, but the lady refused medical attention.
The 21-year-old singer has been caught in a number of shady shenanigans over the years, such as drunk drag racing in Miami or getting kicked out of Mexican ruins for dropping trou.
But over the past year he’s made an effort to clean up his act (save for the Mexico fiasco) and focus on his music, even apologizing for much of his behavior during his Comedy Central roast last March.
It’s nice to see that he still has an altruistic side left and hasn’t gone full Mel Gibson on us.
Perhaps he’s taking a tip from Jamie Foxx, who rushed to help a driver out of his car after an accident last week.
Whatever it is, this is the Biebs we’d like to see more of.
