On Wednesday night, Meghan Markle ended her seven season run on the USA Network by getting married, prompting plenty of excitement online because Markle is about to get married in real life, as well.

(Perhaps you"ve heard.)

Shortly after getting engaged to Prince Harry, Markle confirmed that she was giving up acting as a career, which led to the sort of hilarious scenario of USA issuing a statement in regard to Markle"s personal life.

“From all of us at USA Network and Universal Cable Productions, we want to send our most heartfelt congratulations to Meghan Markle and Prince Harry on their engagement,” the statement read.

Pretty great, right?
