Kim Kardashian Doesn"t Think Tristan is Sorry for Banging "Instagram Whores"
Sorry, Tristan Thompson.
But Kim Kardashian is NOT buying what you are trying to sell.
On this Sunday’s episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, viewers will witness the fallout of Thompson cheating on Khloe Kardashian, as we catch up with the latter after she gives birth to her daughter.
In THIS CLIP, we see Kim seeing Tristan for the first time since this scandal broke.
And in THIS CLIP, we see Khloe reading all about what transpired on her phone, while lamenting all the well wishes being sent her way.
Now, in the latest sneak peek from the upcoming installment, we see Kim and Kris Jenner speaking with another member of the family about what went down when the family truly confronted Tristan about his wandering penis.
“He was very remorseful and feeling obviously sick over everything that happened,” Kris explained to cousin Cici Bussey.
Kim doesn’t really agree with this assessment, however.
“But I told him, ‘I think you’re more remorseful because it’s affecting your job,"” she says, adding:
“I think he’s more embarrassed that he looks stupid ‘cause the public and booing him. And I think it’s more of that than anything and I told him that.”
In a confessional, Kim later says that the Kardashian didn’t film the meeting (WHAT?!?!?!?) because they “really wanted it to be a private talk,” where they all “expressed exactly how we felt.”
(Editor’s Note: Is this not admitting that everything that is filmed is basically scripted and NOT an example of the family expressing what they really feel?)
As for how Thompson reacted to this confrontation?
Says Kim:
“He got mad because my mom was like, ‘You can make your decision. If you want to live this life of dating these Instagram whores and doing your thing, live that life.’
“If this doesn’t work out with you guys, we’re always going to rise up."”
All these months after this episode was shot, of course, we know that Khloe and Tristan are together and trying their best to put Thompson’s horrible acts behind them.
At one point in the video featured here, Kris hints at why Khloe has made this decision.
She really does want to be part of a close-knit immediately family.
“Khloe has been so invested, moved to Cleveland, nested in this house and made it a home,” says Jenner.
“She said something really interesting, she said, ‘I didn’t have a baby just to have a baby and move on.’
“She said ‘I had a baby to create a beautiful family’ and that’s what broke my heart. She really never saw it coming either.”

Scott Disick to World: I Am Still Banging a VERY Young Model!
In case you haven’t checked in on Scott Disick in a while, and you were hoping that his cradle-robbing relationship with Sofia Richie had quietly come to an end … we have some bad news for you.
While Disick and Sofia did break up over the summer in a brief burst rationality, they’ve since resumed their ill-advised romance.
And as you can see, Scott reminded the world of that fact in somewhat uncomfortable fashion over the weekend
It seems he and Sofia traveled to Las Vegas to attend UFC 229 on Saturday night.
Sofia posted this pic on her Instagram page pre-fight.
“The man in the mirror,” she captioned the image.
Of course, at that point in the evening, Scott and Sofia had no idea what was in store.
As you may have heard, the evening’s main event was a much-hyped bout between outspoken Irishman Connor McGregor and the undefeated Russian juggernaut Khabib Nurmagomedov.
After McGregor was forced to tap out, all hell broke loose, as Khabib leaped into the crowd to fight a heckler.
Several members of the Russian’s team entered the ring with the intention of attacking McGregor, and arena security was forced to rush front row attendees to safety.
“So the night ended with us getting rushed out!” Richie later wrote in an Instagram story.
“Of course I attend the fight that ends in a riot.”
We’re sure it was an unpleasant experience, but Sofia has been with Scott for quite some time now.
So by now, she must be accustomed to short, angry dudes exhibiting wild bursts of erratic behavior.
Anyway, there’s been enough coverage of the fight and its totally bonkers aftermath.
We’re here to discuss the fully-clothed, yet oddly-intimate photo that Scott took and Sofia posted.
Now, Sofia is 20, which means she’s a consenting adult, and her relationship with Scott is perfectly legal, and yada, yada, yada.
But when they started dating, she was still in her teens, and since he’s a 35-year-old father of three, there’s a considerable ick factor to this relationship.
Perhaps part of the problem is that Sofia looks so young and Scott looks, well … not, but whatever the case, there’s something unsettling about him having her sit on the bed for skeevy hotel room pics.
Or maybe it’s just us.

All of the ladies of Teen Mom 2 have a lot of drama in their lives, but perhaps no one"s love life is more complicated than Kailyn Lowry"s.
We"ve known for quite some time that the exes briefly got back together, but now, Kail has finally copped to it on the show.
Needless to say, Briana DeJesus probably didn"t love hearing it.
The bad news is, it looks as though all four parties (including Lauren Comeau) who are involved here are doomed to lives of non-stop drama.
The good news is, we get to watch it all unfold!

Javi and Kailyn have been off and on for years. But their latest hookup may have been motivated by revenge and jealousy.

Javi was involved with three different women in the span of just a few short weeks — and now it seems he didn’t bother dumping one before hooking up with the next.

Tarek El Moussa: Oh God, Is He Banging The Nanny Again?
A sweet but suspicious post on Instagram is making a lot of fans wonder: is Tarek El Moussa banging the nanny … again?
Tarek and Christina El Moussa finalized their divorce early this year, but it"s unclear if he"s actually dating anyone at the moment.
Some fans are uneasy after seeing him buy a brand new car for his nanny.
In a new video that he shared on Instagram, Tarek presents Nanny Mossy with a brand new car.
"Happy birthday to our nanny, Mossy!!" Tarek writes in the captions.
Birthdays are a big deal, but gifts of cars are few and far between for people who aren"t family — or in a relationship.
Tarek goes on to praise Mossy, writing: "She has the most important job in the world."
In his family"s world, absolutely.
He clarifies what he means about her job, writing: "which [is] helping me raise Tay and Bray!"
"The kids love her so much," Tarek continues. "We couldn"t imagine life without her!!"
That, by the way, is part of why you should never bang the nanny. A breakup or firing could turn their world upside down.
"Plus," Tarek adds. "She makes me the best food."
He is really hyping her up to his fans and followers. Perhaps to explain why she merits the gift of a brand new car.
"She"s 100 percent part of our family," Tarek affirms. "And we [red heart emoji] her!!"
It was probably wise of him to highlight that he sees her as a family member before putting any red heart emojis into the mix.
Tarek then makes his announcement.
"I surprised her with a new Lexus for her birthday," Tarek writes. "At Lexus of Newport Beach."
Note that he plugs these very specific places and dealers. This may be relevant.
Tarek continues. "My brother @jaredjstar25 owner of J star motors in Anaheim Hills connected us with the dealer!"
"Thanks again Jared!" Tarek concludes, tagging: "@jstarautogroup @newportlexus"
Back when Tarek and Christina were first going through their split, it was said that he romantically pursued his nanny at the time, Alyssa Logan.
And now there"s this — which some would consider an extravagant gift. Does he have a nanny thing?
Life & Style wrote up an InTouch Weekly post on what their sources say is the real situation between Tarek and the nanny.
"Friends think he has the hots for Mossy," the insider explains.
"She"s just his type," the source continues. "And she’s amazing with Brayden and Taylor, which he would find really attractive."
Some men get their wires crossed and feel automatically attracted to any woman who is taking care of their children.
Some men are just attracted to any woman who"s attractive, so there"s also that.
The insider says: "Being good with kids is definitely something he looks for in a woman."
But they think that part of this just comes down to his personality.

We"re not sure if has a thing for hot girls is super unique.
So, what does Christina El Moussa think of all of this?
"She really likes Mossy," the source says. "But rolled her eyes when she found out he"d bought her something that expensive."
That"s fair, honestly.
As for the car, the insider has a theory.
Tarek "really seems like he’s trying to impress her!"
Buying someone a car is a big deal, no matter how small of a drop in the bucket the price might be for you.
We don"t know exactly how much Tarek paid, but the car is $ 40,000.
Tarek"s total net worth has been estimated to be around $ 4 million. That would make this about 1% of his net worth.
While spending 1% of your net worth just means buying a sandwich if you only have $ 1,000, that percentage starts meaning a lot more as you accumulate wealth.
But, as we said, we don"t know how much he actually shared.
As Starcasm notes, this post seems less like a gift between lovers and more like a car commercial. This basically seems like product integration.
They also note that, if this were a romantic relationship, it would seem more likely that he would film her reaction when he first tells her about the gift.
Instead, he just films her seeing the car while plugging some names. Which is not the sexiest thing that we"ve ever seen on Instagram.

Tristan Thompson: Still Banging Mistresses Behind Khloe"s Back?!
It’s been two months since Tristan Thompson was caught cheating on Khloe Kardashian, but remarkably, he has yet to be kicked to the curb.
Yes, by all accounts, Tristan and Khloe have really committed themselves to making this relationship work — or at least Khloe has, anyway.
According to a new report from Radar Online, Tristan hasn’t learned his lesson about sleeping around behind Khloe’s back.
And it seems there’s one mistress in particular that Thompson just can’t get off his mind.
Tristan allegedly hooked up with Lani Blair while he was in D.C. with the Cleveland Cavs.
We know that Thompson has been in contact with Blair recently, but we assumed he was smart enough to at least keep the relationship platonic.
Turns out, we were wrong.
“Tristan’s so sneaky,” says one insider.
“He wants Khloe to have a break from motherhood and go back to LA for a week or two to be with her family. He’s telling her she deserves some girl time with her sisters, cocktails in the sun and the warm LA weather.”
First of all — warm LA weather?! C’mon, source!
Last we checked, it’s June everywhere and Lake Erie isn’t north of the Wall.
Anyway, what really matters here is not the insider’s knowledge of meteorology, but their claims about Tristan’s ulterior motives:
“The truth is, Tristan wants some time away from Khloe so he can be with Lani,” the informant claims.
“He told Khloe he’ll take care of all her expenses and take care of baby True in Cleveland and wants to put Khloe on the next private jet to L.A.”
Yes, apparently Tristan still has “serious feelings” for Blair, and he just doesn’t know how to quit his stripper side-piece.
“He misses those fun times and Lani makes him feels so good. He wants that type of comfort right now, especially since he just lost the finals,” the insider says.
“He’s not ready or in the mood to deal with Khloe, hear her run her mouth or work on their relationship just yet.”
Oh, man.
Hopefully, he doesn’t use the phrase “run her mouth” within earshot of Khloe.
We’re pretty if you talk about a woman in those terms just weeks after you cheated on her while she was pregnant with your baby, she’s legally allowed to murder you.

Dominique Potter: I Had to Take an STD Test After Banging Kailyn Lowry!
Recently, Kailyn Lowry has come forward to discuss how and why things with ex-girlfriend Dominique Potter ended.
Kail admits that she was a terrible girlfriend, saying that she regrets leaving Dom feeling “embarrassed and betrayed.”
It sounds like Dom is still feeling that way, as she has now tweeted and deleted a claim that she rushed to get tested for STIs after hooking up with Kail. Oof.
Kail and Dom were friends for at least a year before it became a relationship. That’s how life works sometimes.
Once it did, they were immediately crazy about each other. It was really sweet.
Dom relocated to be closer to Kailyn, who introduced her to her kids. That, by the way, is something that Kailyn had said that she would avoid doing unless it was a relationship that she believed would last.
But, like, well, all relationships, it had to end one way or another. And it did.
Sooner than probably either of them expected.
Now that Kailyn is reliving it all as Teen Mom 2 airs, Dom is also speaking up and speaking out.
In a now-deleted tweet with a decidedly angry tone, Dom made quite the claim.
“Hold up, let me go ask my doctor for a opy of my bill from when I went and got tested for every STD/STI possible the very next day because I knew I didn’t trust her.”
She suggests that people stop speculating.
“I have nothing to hide … stop talking where you know nothing.”
It is entirely possible that she was being heavily sarcastic but realized (as one so often does on social media) that sarcasm and tone rarely translate through text and deleted it.
It may also be true and something that she decided to delete. It is difficult to be sure.
Regardless of whether or not Dom was sincere about panicking and taking a battery of STI tests, it is very clear that she’s not happy with Kailyn these days.
It sounds like she doesn’t really care for her ex’s words about their relationship on Teen Mom 2, either.
On Tuesday, Dom tweeted:
“The inconsistency of last night and recent tweets says everything. … All good on this side.”
She seems to be keeping things vague and keeping a cooler head.
Mostly.
Of course, just because Dom is trying her best to avoid tweeting anything direclty about Kailyn doesn’t mean that other people aren’t.
And Dom saw one tweet that she clearly could not resist giving a retweet.
On Monday evening, Dom smashed that retweet button on this tweet:
“@KailLowry, you’re lying. You know you were dating @dp_one_four when this was filmed. So shady of you.”
Even as vague as that is, it seems very clear that there is bad blood between these two, even if the actual resentment appears to be one-sided.
That’s so sad. We wish them both the best.
All of this comes in the aftermath of Kailyn’s attempt to take responsibility for their relationship’s end in a tweet:
“Dom & I dating – I wasn’t trying to deny her or a relationship. & we had fun while it lasted but things didn’t work out.”
That’s how so many — maybe even most — relationships end.
“I’ve learned a lot over the years and wanted to keep things private & off the show but i don’t think i really handled it properly.”
Hey, we’re all learning and growing as human beings. Though if Kailyn really cheated on Dom, well, she should know better.
And if Dom really did take an STI panel after their first hookup, not out of common sense due diligence but oecause she “didn’t trust” Kail …
… Maybe this relationship was doomed from the start.

Jennifer Aniston to Justin Theroux: You Better Not Be Banging Selena Gomez!
It’s been three months since the world learned Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux have separated, and while both parties claim the split was amicable, their behavior during that time tells a different story.
Despite frequent rumors that Aniston is back together with Brad Pitt, there’s been no definitive indication that either party has moved on – and that might be by design.
Neither Jen nor Justin has come out and confirmed that they’re dating someone new, but that doesn’t necessarily mean that they’re both still single.
In fact, Jen’s not the only one who’s been the subject of persistent rumors regarding an alleged rebound fling with an A-lister.
For several weeks now, rumors that Justin is dating Selena Gomez have been circulating on social media.
The whole thing seems very far-fetched, especially considering the fact that Justin is 21 years Selena’s senior.
But according to Hollywood Life, Jen has been considering the possibility that there’s some truth to these reports.
And she’s very, very unhappy about it:
“Jennifer is upset over the dating rumors swirling around her ex and Selena,” claims a source close to the actress.
“It hurts Jen to think that Justin would move on already,” the insider adds.
“To think of him with anyone else, especially someone so young and that Jen has a personal relationship with like Selena, is painful for her. Jen doesn’t want to think about it and definitely does not believe it.”
And it seems Selena isn’t the only potential rebound partner that Jen is concerned about these days:
“Jennifer is tired of hearing about all the women Justin may be dating since there split,” the source continued.
“From Emma Watson to Selena, Jen is furious over every picture she sees of her ex with another pretty face out in New York. Jen won’t believe any of the rumors until she hears from Justin himself that he is involved in a new relationship.”
Yes, it seems Jen is concerned that Justin is running around Manhattan sleeping with everything with a pulse, a la Joey Tribbiani.
We’re of the opinion that the only way for Jen to exact revenge is for her to engage in a high-profile fling with Brad.
Actually, we have no idea if that would bother Justin or not.

Lani Blair: Banging Tristan Thompson During the Playoffs?!?
Earlier this week, Tristan Thompson broke his social media silence.
The professional basketball player shared his first message on Instagram Sunday night, but he didn’t issue any sort of apology for stepping out on Khloe Kardashian multiple times over the past few months.
And perhaps we now know why.
Perhaps Thompson isn’t actually sorry for his duplicitous actions.
These actions, of course, include allegedly sleeping with women when Khloe was three months pregnant and then again when she was eight months pregnant.
There’s a very good chance he slept with others, as well, but these instances were the ones actually documented on surveillance video footage obtained by The Daily Mail and TMZ.
But none of this is news any longer.
If you’re a fan of celebrity gossip, you’ve very well aware at this point that Thompson has been cheating regularly on Kardashian.
Did you know the following, however:
He STILL may be cheating!
We mentioned above that Thompson likely doesn’t regret his dishonest behavior of late because a new tabloid report alleges that he hasn’t changed it one bit.
According to In Touch Weekly, Thompson asked Khloe before round one of the playoffs whether she wanted the four box seats Cleveland allocated to him for home playoff games.
She said no (because, d’uh!), a source tells this tabloid, prompting Thompson to give the tickets instead to … Lani Brown!
Yes, that Lani Brown!
The same Lani Brown who is among the women Tristan has been slipping his penis to at various points over the past year or so.
Now, just because Brown accepted these tickets, does that mean she also accepted Tristan into her bed after he played in the aforementioned playoffs games?
Yes. We’re just gonna go ahead and say yes, that is exactly what it means.
We’d ask Brown whether this rumor is true, but she isn’t speaking to The Hollywood Gossip at the moment.
Or any website or person connected to the Internet.
The Instagram model has disabled comments on her social media account after a variety of users left vicious remarks on her photos.
One example read: “Hope your next man does the same thing to you as you did to her.
And another: “She just wants to get famous off the Kardashians… just because she has nothing else going for her so being a mistress was her key to fame.”
Aggressive, right?
Thompson, meanwhile, will be in Toronto most of this week, as the Cavs tip-off round two of the playoffs against the Raptors.
He’ll return to Cleveland for game three on Saturday, but it remains unclear if he’ll even go back to a home also occupied by his baby mama and daughter.
Recent reports state that Khloe is still living in Cleveland, but not under Tristan’s roof.
Will she finally end the romance after all of Thompson’s cheating?
Sources say she’s torn, but she’s feeling pressure from her relatives to do so.
“The family has given Khloe an ultimatum: ‘It’s Tristan or us,"” an insider tells In Touch Weekly, adding:
“None of the family [members] can stand to be around Tristan. Kris told him to his face that she was disgusted by his behavior.”

Scheana Marie & Robert Valletta: Broken Up But Still Banging!
It can be tough to keep track of all the romantic comings and goings on Vanderpump Rules.
There are couples who have broken up, couples who should have broken up, and then there’s something in-between…
It seems Scheana Marie and Robert Valletta currently find themselves in the third category.
Scheana and Robert began dating at the beginning of this year, but Vanderpump Rules viewers just met Valletta on last week’s season six premiere.
The debut should have served as a sort of national coming out party for the happy couple, but there was one major snafu.
Just days before the episode aired, it was announced that Scheana and Robert had broken up.
The news was not entirely unexpected, as Robert and Scheana seemed to rush right into a relationship before she’d had time to fully process her divorce.
Those who know the SUR server best say they felt she was not looking for a boyfriend, but instead “another husband.”
So those Scheana’s friends were likely somewhat relieved when she and Rob called it quits–and they’re probably a bit concerned by news that the breakup is not entirely a done deal:
“They kind of broke up and they kind of didn’t,” a source tells Us Weekly.
“They are still talking. Their schedules have been tricky. When he’s in town they act like a couple. They are in between broken up and still on.”
In an interview with the tabloid, Scheana confirmed that she and Rob decided to take it easy, due largely to the fact that she’ll be spending most of the next few months in Vegas, performing in the stage show Sex TIps For Straight Women From a Gay Man.
“You’ll see a lot of me with Rob on the show, probably not a lot outside of that, because we’re not together right now,” Marie told Us.
“We’re still friends, we’re good, just timing-wise with where our careers are both at right now, it’s not a good time for a relationship, which we both agreed on. I’m moving to Vegas next week for four to six months.”
“We’re just friends right now. We tried the friends with benefits thing, but it’s hard.”

Marie says the transition from official couple to whatever they are now hasn’t been easy, but it seems they’ve been through this before … both in this life, and in others:
“I know. I’m still confused sometimes,” Scheana said.
“But now that it is so close to the time that I’m moving, I know that it is best to just be friends for now. We’ve done it before, we can do it again. He’s been in my life for like 12 years now.
“Apparently, I just found out from a psychic, that we’ve been together in past lives before. We have some karmic connection that keeps bringing us back together.”

Briana DeJesus and Javi Marroquin are dating, and they’re not hiding their romance from anyone.
In fact, they’re taking every opportunity to remind all interested parties–and Kailyn Lowry in particular–that they’re spending as much time as possible together these days.
Maybe it’s just the heady rush of a new relationship, or maybe there’s something more going on here …
Some fans believe that Javi and Briana have underhanded motives for boasting about their relationship on social media.
Not surprisingly, the feud between Briana and Kailyn Lowry has intensified as DeJesus’ relationship with Javi has become more serious.
Kail and Briana weren’t exactly friends before, and not surprisingly, Lowry isn’t overjoyed by the fact that her rival is dating her ex-husband.
And many are now under the impression that DeJesus is taking pleasure in reminding Kailyn that she’s hooking up with Javi.
Over the weekend, in fact, Briana posted and deleted a tweet that’s being widely interpreted as a sly reminder that she and Javi are having sex.
“Been asleep since 7pm. Perks of having a hands on bf,” DeJesus wrote.
As she so often does these days, Briana took a lot of flak from Kailyn fans who slammed her apparent boast as crass and mean-spirited.
Of course, Briana’s been known to delete all of her tweets at once for no apparent reason, so it’s possible the removal had nothing to do with the criticism from Lowry’s fan base.
Javi, on the other hand, is not mincing words in his ongoing beef with the mother of his child.
“Someone’s bitter and can’t move on from shit that happened almost 2 years ago,” he tweeted over the weekend.
“Have more important things to worry about right now than a past relationship that’s dead to me,” Marroquin added.
“Lincoln is the only thing keeping it alive. Which I’m blessed for don’t get me wrong. But him, that’s it.”
He also re-tweeted a fan who criticized Kailyn for “having a whole baby with someone else after a public divorce.”
Maybe Javi would be less salty if Kail only had, like, part of a baby?

Texas Teacher Arrested for Picking Up Student at Chick-fil-A, Banging Him in Parking Lot
A Texas history teacher was arrested this week and charged with sexual assault with an ex-student after meeting up with him at a local Chick-fil-A restaurant.
People Magazine was the first outlet to report the incident.
According to court records, Michelle Schiffer has been charged with engaging in an improper relationship with a student who is now 16 years old.
He was 15 at the time of the sexual encounter.
Schiffer is 23.
The teacher told authorities that she met the unnamed student at the aforementioned fast food restaurant before they went to a friend’s home to have sex.
The student, meanwhile, told authorities that Schiffer picked him up once at a park in her car – and then the inappropriate twosome drove around the neighborhood before having sex in a parking lot.
This second allegation was reported by local TV station CW39.
The same network adds that Schiffer and the student had sex on multiple occasions.
Schiffer teaches world history at Cypress Springs High School in Cypress, Texas.
She was ordered to appear in court on Wednesday to face her charges, while a judge has set bond at $ 30,000.
Official records indicate that Schiffer posted the amount later that day and is now a free woman.
Having admitted that she also smoked marijuana with this student in the car, it’s also safe to classify her as a messed up woman.
The Cypress-Fairbanks Independent School District has said in a statement that the 23-year old was immediately removed from campus and placed on administrative leave once they learned of the charges.
We’d have to imagine she’ll soon be fired.
“We will continue to protect our students and not tolerate relationships of an inappropriate nature,” the statement reads.
No word on the scandal from Chick-fil-A, although there’s no real reason for the chain to speak out.
It continues to provide consumers with delicious chicken sandwiches, while not being a big fan of gay people.

Candidate for Ohio Governor Defends Al Franken, Brags About Banging 50 Women
Bill O’Neill is an Ohio Supreme Court Justice. He’s also a candidate for Governor.
And, to hear him tell it, he has had sex with 50 “very attractive females” during his life. Which would be fine, if he hadn’t boasted about this on social media using information that might lead to some of those women being identified.
It’s a terrible political move. And yes, his campaign manager has quit. Wouldn’t you?
Senator Al Franken apologized for groping and kissing a woman without her consent. But apologies don’t make things magically go away, and many are calling for him to resign.
Apparently, that didn’t sit right with Ohio gubernatorial candidate Bill O’Neill, as he posted this very cringe-worthy rant to Facebook.
“Now that the dogs of war are calling for the head of Senator Al Franken,” his post begins.
It’s already off to a rough start, because that does not describe the state of things.
(Some have called for his resignation, but a graceful retirement after a scandal is hardly the end of the world)
His post gets immediately worse:
“I believe it is time to speak up on behalf of all heterosexual males.”
Generally, people speak up on behalf of underdogs instead of on behalf of the demographic group that dominates every nation on Earth. But please, continue.
“As a candidate for Governor, let me save my opponents some research time.”
(Never a good idea; make them work for that dirt)
“In the past 50 years, I was sexually intimate with approximately 50 very attractive females.”
One, that’s bragging and oversharing.
Two, don’t refer to women or girls as “females.” It tends to rub people the wrong way.
Anyway, his boastful post gets worse:
“It ranged from a gorgeous personal secretary to Senator Bob Taft (Senior) who was my first true love and we made passionate love in the hayloft of her parents barn in Gallipolis.”
That is way too much information.
Oh, O’Neill can tank his career by oversharing about his genital adventures all that he wants. But he should not have told so much about these women.
“… And ended with a drop dead gorgeous red head who was a senior adviser to Peter Lewis at Progressive Insurance in Cleveland.”
Then he talks about some pretty good policies:
“Now can we get back to discussing legalizing marijuana and opening the state hospital network to combat the opioid crisis.”
And then he promptly makes things worse again.
“I am sooooo disappointed by this national feeding frenzy about sexual indiscretions decades ago.”
So, in other words, he’s completely missed the point. Nobody’s talking about “indiscretions.” Sleep around all that you like.
The national conversation is about consent. it’s about sexual harassment and sexual assault. And Bill O’Neill should be ashamed of his post.
At first, however, he defended making the post, saying that he opposes a “new standard” that, in his mind, means that:
“If you’re not absolutely pure you’re not eligible to run for office in America. That’s wrong.”
Apparently he failed to actually listen to the national conversation even once. Unless any of those 50 alleged hotties were underage or not consenting, then he didn’t have anything to worry about.
By the way, in the process of defending himself, Bill O’Neill also lamented that Roy Moore’s accusations of molestation are condemning him “without due process.”
That is literally not how due process works. Roy Moore can’t be imprisoned without evidence and a conviction. The presumption of innocence expands to the courtroom, not to hearts and minds. Or votes.
As we mentioned, Bill O’Neill’s campaign manager quit. Chris Clevenger announced his departure on Twitter:
“The comments made today by @BillForOhio were both disturbing and misguided. As a victim of sexual assault, I cannot in good faith remain a part of #TeamONeill.”
He followed that up with a tweet:
“Sexual harassment and assault is no laughing matter. The next Governor of Ohio must take it seriously to receive my vote.”
That’s a good policy to have.
Finally, someone got through to Bill O’Neill, because he posted an apology on Sunday morning:
“There comes a time in everyone’s life when you have to admit you were wrong. It is Sunday morning and i am preparing to go to church and get right with God. But first I have to get right with my family, my friends, and the thousands of strangers who have been hurt by my insensitive remarks.”
Not to mention the two women whom he described a little too well.
“I am sorry. I have damaged the national debate on the very real subject of sexual harassment, abuse and unfortunately rape. It is not a laughing matter. It wasn’t when I prosecuted sexual misconduct for the State of Ohio, and it is not now.”
It’s good that he’s owning it fully.
“To my daughters, Katie Corrin O’Neill, Tiffany O’Neill Scullen, and my sisters Patricia O’Neill Sacha and Mary Kaye O’Neill, accomplished women all, please accept my public apology for dragging you into this matter.”
When a male politician screws up, everybody wants to know what the women in his family think.
“You deserved better treatment than this. I love you, respect you, and yes. I was wrong. Thank you for loving me enough to stand up to my departure from a loving life.“
It’s still stunning that O’Neill was able to hear about all of these allegations of assault and harassment and see it as an opportunity to brag about his conquests. Gross.
