Kailyn Lowry: How She Became the Most Bullied Teen Mom

With the possible exception of Chelsea Houska, no one in the Teen Mom universe has been totally free of criticism from judgemental fans.

(Even Chelsea has probably been the subject of some errant trash-talk, but she"s by far the most successful cast member in terms of avoiding online pettiness.)

Among fans, there"s some debate over who is the most hated Teen Mom.

Some say it"s mother of one and noted sex tape star Farrah Abraham.

Other say it"s mother of three and renowned jailbird Jenelle Evans.

But Kailyn Lowry says she"s the most bullied and heavily-criticized of all the moms — and she claims to know exactly why that is:

 

1. Kail on Her Grind

Kailyn is by far the busiest of the Teen Moms. Not only is she a reality star and single mom, she’s also a podcast host, bestselling author, and trend-setting social media personality.

2. A Mixed Response

The success of her various side-projects is certainly a testament to Kail’s popularity, but her ambition has also made her a subject of scorn among critics.

3. A Tired Critique

Sadly, one of the most common arguments lobbed at Kail is that she should be spending less time on her career and more time with her kids. It’s a complaint that’s unfortunately familiar to many ambitious moms.

4. Easily Deflected

Thankfully, Kail’s loyal fans are quick to point out to her haters that as a single mother of three, Ms. Lowry has little choice but to stay on her grind. There are no vanity projects in Kail’s world, as all that work is the ultimate gesture of love.

5. The Hits Keep Coming

Unlike critics of Farrah or Jenelle, however, Kail’s assailants don’t seem to focus on any one aspect of her life.

Bekah Martinez Reveals How She Became a Missing Persons Case

If you follow The Bachelor Spoilers, Bekah M"s elimination probably wasn"t a huge shock.

But you know what was weird for everyone? Reports that Bekah M"s mother reported her missing while she was on The Bachelor. 

As you"ll see in the video below, Bekah herself is now explaining everything to Jimmy Kimmel.

If you read our The Bachelor recap or watched the episode, you know that Bekah Martinez — the famously young contestant — was finally eliminated from the competition.

Tia, in her desperation to win Arie, sabotaged Bekah M by telling Arie that the 22-year-old isn"t ready for marriage.

And then Bekah got eliminated, though Tia didn"t really do herself any favors, either.

All of this comes on top of the story of how Bekah came to be reported missing to the police.

As the story goes, Bekah Martinez"s mother didn"t know where Bekah was while she was on The Bachelor, vying for Arie Lyendyk Jr"s heart. And so her mother ended up reporting her missing.

As you"ll see in the video below, Bekah — though she was definitely reported missing — wants to clear the air, which is why she spoke to Jimmy Kimmel.

"I wanted to set the record straight. See, a lot of people thought I lied to my mother, saying that I was on a farm when I was actually on The Bachelor."

Very specifically, a marijuana farm in Northern California. Police note that some such farms are still unlicensed, and any illegal business can be dangerous. Particularly for a young woman.

"But no, I had already been eliminated from the show."

Which, of course, happened under the cover of secrecy. But she did head out of town for a while.

"And I just decided to go up to the mountains for a couple of weeks."

She describes how her mother came to worry.

"And I was there for six or seven days without phone service, [and] I thought that I was going to have phone service. And I"d told my mother that I would."

Some parents are fine with that (again, Bekah is an adult). Others, well, start to panic. And apparently Bekah realized that she"d been out of touch for too long.

"And you know, I just had this weird feeling on like the sixth or seventh day, I was like "I need to go home now.""

But it was a little too late.

"So I got in my car, drove to where I had service, called my parents. And, yeah, come to find out, only twelve hours before, my mother called the Humboldt Sheriff’s Department saying that I was missing."

Bekah does clarify that yes, this was a marijuana farm, though she clearly prefers to characterize the place as "the mountains."

"I’m not a weed farmer. I’m still a nanny in L.A."

Obviously, folks, she doesn"t want to get a reputation. See, her friend has a marijuana farm.

Bekah was just there visiting in the aftermath of what must have been a bizarre and high-pressure experience filming The Bachelor.

Also, it"s great that she and so many of her fellow contenders keep in touch.

Our favorite part of that interview might be when Bekah confesses that she"d have preferred if the leading man had been Peter.

You and the viewers both, girl. The Bachelor Nation has not been subtle about how they feel about Peter or about Arie.

And speaking of Arie"s reputation with fans, it was speculated before this season got started that Arie was on the show to build up his brand.

Bekah is 22. Arie wouldn"t endear himself to anyone by sending her home in the first episode, but his glaring age gap would have made him seem creepy if he"d taken her too close to the end. For this reason, a lot of fans were not surprised to see Bekah go.

But a lot of folks were sorry to see her leave. She was such a treat.

The Walking Dead Season 8 Episode 4 Recap: Who Became a Casualty of War?!

The war continued on The Walking Dead Season 8 Episode 4, and we picked up right after the big shootout that left several kingdommers on the ground. 

Yes, the saviors were well and truly doling out some revenge for all of their people that got killed. Ezekiel emerged from a pile of dead bodies and was relatively unscathed.

He was sad. Shiva was nowhere to be seen, and he felt like he screwed up by having them all out there in the open admitting that they won that leg of the war. 

One of Negan’s men took Ezekiel along with him because he wanted to be the one to hand Ezekiel over to Negan. He wanted that badge of honor from the violent killer. 

At the outpost, however, the savior could not get back inside. It was chained shut. In a surprising move, Jerry appeared out of the shadows and took the man out of the equation. 

Ezekiel was free, but that did not mean they were out of the woods yet. The savior previously made it clear that he was going to have Rick, Ezekiel, and Maggie for his boss at some point. 

Yeah, that’s all out the window now. 

Ezekiel kept trying to give up on life. He felt like he had let everyone down, but Jerry was there to give him some words of wisdom. 

While the Saviors were preparing to take the weapons to another outpost, Carol snuck in and took out a bunch of them. She was then stuck in the car park with a lot of them. 

In a surprising twist, she surrendered, but it was merely a ploy to have her allow a bunch of walkers into the compound to dispatch of the enemies. 

The saviors made their escape, but Daryll and Rick were right behind and started firing off rounds and rounds of bullets at them. 

Carol, Jerry, and Ezekiel tried to make it back to the Kingdom, but Ezekiel had lost the will to live. He kept telling them to leave him behind, but they were not having it. 

Instead, they kept him going strong every step of the way… until they were ambushed. That’s when the most shocking moment of the entire series took place. 

Shiva sacrificed herself to save everyone, and she was eaten by a swarm of zombies. This show knows how to hit you in the feels. 

Ezekiel seems like he’s going to ditch his duties and hand them over to someone else.

American Horror Story Season 7 Episode 4 Recap: Death Became Whom?

Kai is one of the most manipulative people in the history of television, and Evan Peters is playing him so well. 

When American Horror Story Season 7 Episode 4 got underway, we picked up with all of the characters voting in the election, and we got to see some mass hysteria at the polling station in the form of Chaz Bono’s character making his way to the station without his hand.

But, how did that all happen? The episode took us all the way back and filled in a lot of the blanks. In a heinous move, Gary sexually assaulted Ivy during a rally. 

We got to see a much nicer and less paranoid version of Ally, and she did not want to attend the rally because she thought there was no way a reality TV star was getting inside the White House. 

She probably feels very silly right about now! Winter came to Ivy’s defense during the big ordeal, proving they knew each other Winter was hired to look after Ozzy. 

The pair joined forces and kidnapped Gary in the hopes of making sure he could not vote for Trump. Not one to miss out on a move, Kai joined in on the fun and helped Gary escape, but it involved letting the man cut his hand off. 

And just like that, Kai had a brand new follower. Gary was not his only new lemming, however. 

We got to see what really happened between Meadow and Harrison before they joined forces with the blue-haired world dominator. 

Harrison’s life was all over the place before Kai helped him see something better. It took Harrison killing his awful boss to understand just how powerful Kai was. 

Meadow was mad because Harrison did not satisfy her in the bedroom. That’s what happens when you make a pact to marry your Gay BFF. 

The odd thing about all of it was the Meadow did not seem concerned about Harrison slicing and dicing the corpse of his boss in a motel room. 

Harrison seemed like he wanted a sense of direction and that’s exactly what Kai gave him, so that explains why a lot of stuff has happened in recent weeks. 

Emma Roberts was also in the fold as Serena, who could easily pass as a brunette version of Chanel Oberlin from Scream Queens. She was the woman who was giving out oral sex to get to the top of the TV hosting game. 

Beverly was mad that Serena was getting her way, so Kai helped Beverly out by killing Serena and the cameraman live on air during a segment on dogs. 

So, Serena had a one-episode stint, and it advanced the plot in a big way. We now know a lot about Kai’s plan and that the clowns are very much real. 

The bigger question right now surrounds Ivy and whether she was having sex with Winter before hiring her. That would be messed up, especially when you consider her reaction to Winter getting hot and heavy with Ally.

Big Brother Recap: Who Became Jurors?

Tensions in the Big Brother house have been boiling over for weeks on end now, and with a double eviction looming, the drama got crazier. 

When the latest episode got underway, we got to see Josh attempt to move the target from Cody to Elena. He sneakily whispered in Cody’s ear that he was trying to save Jessica last week. 

Cody does not seem to care, but Josh causes some drama, anyway. 

In the kitchen, Josh asks Cody if Mark and Elena tried to align with him when he returned to the game.  Cody says that was not the case, and Paul claims to Mark that it was the reassurance he needed in order to trust him again. 

Elena, however, did not get off so easily and Josh lashed out at her for going wherever the power is. Elena claimed she was not a liar and they had it all wrong. 

That was all Alex needed to chime in with her thoughts and reiterate to everyone that Elena is, indeed, a liar. Alex was salty because of her being made camp guide after Elena said she would not give her a punishment. 

While all of the bickering was going on, Cody sat out back, giggling away like a little school girl. Was the target on him getting smaller?

When it came to the eviction speeches, Elena mumbled her way through an extra long one, and I still have no idea what she said. 

Cody went for the jugular, saying that Alex and Jason wanted to make an alliance with him to take out Raven and Paul. 

Matt claimed he still had more bowls of cereal to eat inside the house and it would be a travesty to take him out. Are these people even planning on playing the game?!

• Paul votes to evict: Cody

• Josh votes to evict: Cody 

• Raven votes to evict: Cody

• Jason votes to evict: Cody

• Christmas votes to evict: Cody

Cody was evicted by a vote of 7-0-0 and made a quick getaway over the coffee table. He did not say his goodbyes. He was done with everyone inside the house, and they knew it. Somebody even called him a “tool” on his way out the door. 

Classy. 

The houseguests then moved on to the HOH competition, and it was a classic elimination-style game. 

• Round 1: Matthew vs Josh – Matthew eliminated 

• Round 2: Mark vs Elena – Elena eliminated

• Round 3: Christmas vs Josh – Josh eliminated

• Round 4: Mark vs Raven – Raven eliminated 

• Round 5: Kevin vs Christmas – Kevin eliminated

• Round 6: Mark vs Jason – Mark eliminated 

• Round 7: Christmas vs Paul – Paul eliminated 

• Round 8: Christmas vs Jason – Christmas eliminated

Jason wins!

As expected, Mark and Elena were thrown up on the block together. Josh started bullying them live on air and shouting “Bye” at them. He really is a bully, and it’s crazy the producers do not get him out. 

Mark wins the POV competition, and Matt is sent up to sit next to Raven. 

Every houseguest aside from Mark chooses to evict Elena, meaning she is the second member of the jury. 

Poor Mark was left alone in the house, but with Matt and Raven being the sole showmance remaining, look for them to be targeted next alongside Mark. 

Matt and Raven did compete in the POV competition, but it seemed like they wanted Mark to win to keep the target on him. 

We closed out the episode with Julie announcing Derrick Levasseur would return on tonight’s special episode. 

With the live feeds down all day today, we have no idea what to expect.

The road to an Academy Award is often paved with terrible roles. Such as when Lawrence played a mascot in a 2006 episode of Monk. We love it!

4. A Sitcom Non-Star

Lawrence played the daughter of the title character on The Bill Engvall Show from 2007 to 2009. Look, she had a (fake) belly button ring!
