Prince Rushed to Hospital Following Emergency Landing

Music and fashion icon Prince was rushed to the hospital Friday morning after his plane made an emergency landing in Illinois, reports TMZ.

According to the site, the singer’s jet made an unscheduled landing at Quad City International Airport in Rock Island County, Illinois around 1 a.m. on Friday.

After touching down, he was taken to an area hospital in an ambulance.

The “Purple Rain” singer had performed a concert in Atlanta on Thursday evening before boarding the plane.

While the nature of the emergency was unclear at first, sources now say that Prince had been battling the flu for a number of weeks.

He had canceled two concerts last week but was determined to play the show in Atlanta, even though he was still ill.

Once in the air, he began to feel much worse, so the private jet made the emergency landing.

The 57-year-old was reportedly treated and released after three hours, and then hopped back on the plane.

He is now resting at home.

The Rock and Roll Hall of Famer released his latest album, HITnRUN Phase One, in September 2015.

Prince has updated his Twitter account in the hours following the incident, writing “I am #transformed” just eight hours ago.

Brett Rossi Gets Emergency Restraining Order Against Charlie Sheen Following Death Threats

Yesterday, we reported that Charlie Sheen was recorded making death threats against former girlfriend Brett Rossi.

Today, the Los Angeles law enforcement officials all but confirmed that report by issuing Rossi an emergency 7-day restraining order against Sheen.

Sources tell TMZ a judge granted the order today after Rossi complained about an undisclosed incident involving Sheen.

Though the exact nature of her complaint remains unknown, it is widely assumed that Rossi alerted the court to the National Enquirer’s report about Sheen’s alleged threats.

In the tapes, which have not been released to the public, Sheen allegedly tells a female friend that he would wants Rossi “be f–king buried.”

The actor goes into detail with regard to how he would like to pay someone to physically harm Rossi:

“I’d rather spend 20-grand to have her head kicked in. Then people will realize, oh, it’s dangerous,” he says at one point.

After Sheen revealed that he’s HIV positive last year, he stated that several former sex partners demanded bribes in exchange for keeping his diagnosis a secret.

Rossi was reportedly one of the women who asked Sheen for cash, and the tape recording reportedly captures him in the moments after he got off the phone with the former adult film star.

The LAPD hasn’t issued a statement on the matter, but it’s widely assumed that they’re investigating Sheen’s alleged threats.

Reporter Loses It Over Report on "Emergency Defecation Situation"

Forget those other hilarious moments in live news, folks.

We think we have a new champion.

Say hello to New Zealand anchor Hilary Barry … who is afraid she may soon be saying goodbye to her job because she could not stop laughing during a story about an “emergency defecation situation."

The report centers on a Malaysian diplomat named Mohammed Rizalman.

He is being sentenced for indecent assault after he followed Tania Billingsly home and (among other things) took a poop on her doorstep.

“Mohammed Rizalman once had an untainted two decade-long career in the Malaysian military; today he’ll be sentenced for indecent assault. In November he admitted following then-21-year-old Tanya Billingsly home,” Barry read live on air.

“He said he’d had an ‘emergency defecation situation’ and needed to use her bathroom, but the judge in the case found he had a sexual motive.”

At that, Barry and her colleagues started to crack up.

And then kept right on cracking up.

But what made the situation so unfortunate was that she next had to report on a man being sucked out of a Somali plane after a bomb was detonated.

“I’m not laughing at this," she said during that report, while still laughing and then adding "Today could be the day I lose my job."

If so, though, what a way to go out!
