Sean Hannity to Jimmy Kimmel: I Accept Your Forced Apology! Come on My Show!

After making some jokes that many viewed as homophobic, Jimmy Kimmel has apologized to the LGBT+ community.

And it appears that he"s trying to quash his long-running beef with Sean Hannity at the same time. And, as the video below shows, it may have worked.

Hannity appears to have accepted Kimmel"s apology — even though he calls it "forced" — and he"s even inviting Kimmel to his show.

After rehashing the back-and-forth that"s been going on between himself and Kimmel, Hannity says this of Kimmel"s apology:

"On the surface, to be honest, it feels more like a forced Disney corporate apology directed more towards the LBGTQ community rather than about Kimmel’s comments about the first lady."

He seems to be pretending to say "LGBTQ" awkwardly, as if he doesn"t read that acronym all of the time as part of his job, but whatever. His viewers will eat that up.

Hannity continues, saying:

"I believe everyone should accept apologies, that’s how I was raised, that’s what my religion teaches me, and I’m going to assume he’s sincere."

"But, from my perspective, I do really kind of enjoy a good fight, and I do agree with Jimmy in the sense that it’s time to move on."

Of course, Hannity knows where his bread is buttered, so he naturally pivots to a familiar topic for Trump fans.

"For me, it was never about Hannity vs. Jimmy Kimmel. It’s a lot bigger than that for me."

The man who once blasted Obama for ordering "fancy" mustard thinks that the media is being unfair to Trump. Honestly, that"s wild.

"Just the level of hatred, vitriol against this president and his family is frankly unprecedented, as we"ve been talking about all night tonight."

He also refers to "the media" as "wholly an extension of the Democratic Party," which is almost funny for a few reasons, saying:

"What"s even worse, we have this corrupt media industrial complex. We see it all working tonight."

Uh-huh.

Hannity then decides to extend and invitation.

"You seem sincere when you talk about healthcare. You seem sincere when you talk about the country."

Kimmel certainly is. The healthcare issue really touches him, as he"d never be able to afford care for his son if he weren"t rich.

"I want to extend an invitation. You wanna come on the show, I"ll promise: no name-calling, no anger."

That will be incredibly off-brand for Hannity. Also, it implies that he can reign in his anger.

"No rehashing of the Twitter fight. You want to have a serious discussion. We can talk about the President, his policies, healthcare, comedy, political correctness. …"

That would be … interesting.

As you may recall, Jimmy Kimmel and Sean Hannity have had some back-and-forth banter.

Hannity is sometimes regarded as the "last man standing" among long-running, big-name conservative mouthpieces at Fox News.

Kimmel has his late-night talk show on NBC and, like many Americans, blows off steam by poking fun at the endless three-ring circus known as the Trump Administration.

However, Kimmel sometimes would poke fun at Melania"s accent, something that many feel should be off-limits. She never asked to be First Lady, after all.

This sparked a crude back-and-forth between Hannity and Kimmel.

The very back-and-forth that escalated, with Kimmel"s jokes becoming homophobic and Hannity comparing Kimmel to an alleged rapist. Yikes.

When Kimmel suggested that Hannity and Trump were in a sexual relationship, he certainly intended for it to inflame and embarrass Hannity, who is not exactly known as a friend of the LGBT+ community.

But the results are homophobic. Calling someone gay to upset them is pretty blatantly homophobic, regardless of your intentions.

So it"s good that Jimmy apologized.

For the record, though, Sean Hannity used Jimmy Kimmel"s appearance on that gross and sexist The Man Show (and yes, it was, even at the time) to compare him to Harvey Weinstein.

Those women on that show signed up to be there. That"s a far cry from, you know, the women who accuse Harvey Weinstein of harassing, threatening, and raping them.

One worries that Hannity doesn"t understand the distinction between gross behavior (for a television role) that has been unlearned and unforgivable acts of predation.

Will he accept Hannity"s invitation? Some would wonder what the point could be. Hannity"s politics speak for themselves. Anyone still watching his show isn"t likely to be swayed.

The only likely result is the normalization of Hannity"s radically pro-Trump views and an undeserved ratings boost for Hannity.

Kind of hard to see what Kimmel has to gain from that. But he might go for it.

It"s worth noting that Hannity also threatens to further embarrass Kimmel if the latter decides to reignite their feud.

He apparently tasked producers to come up with, we"re guessing, a lot of dumb statements and awkward moments of him goggling at women on The Man Show.

Like Hannity, I agree that it would be nice to see fewer people take shots at Barron Trump, Melania Trump, and things like Trump"s typically American diet.

(I"m a guy who eats kale-and-chicken burgers when I "get a burger," but if someone wants to eat a bucket of KFC or whatever, more power to them)

There are so many totally fair targets for ridicule. For example, almost everything else about Donald Trump.

Jimmy Kimmel Apologizes to LGBT Community, Aims to Squash Beef with Sean Hannity

All Jimmy Kimmel is saying to Sean Hannity is…

… let’s give peace a chance.

Of course, this is not ALL Kimmel has been saying to Hannity, which is why the talk show host issued a lengthy statement on Twitter over the weekend.

Over the past several days, Kimmel and Hannity have been embroiled in quite a feud.

It started when the former made a few cracks about Melania Trump’s accent, which prompted Hannity to call Kimmel an “ass clown.”

(Kimmel had quipped about the First Lady pronouncing “this” as “dis” and setting a poor example for some school kids to whom she was reading.)

Kimmel made some jokes online in response, calling out Hannity for never exactly defending women or immigrants in the past, to which Hannity replied by playing clips of Kimmel as host of The Man Show many years ago.

He referred to Kimmel as “Harvey Weinstein Jr” and as a “pervert” for the way in which he interacted with women on this program back in the day.

From there, Kimmel made cracks about Hannity leaving lipstick on President Donald Trump’s rear end and wondering whether Hannity was a “top” or a “bottom” in his relationship with the Commander-in-Chief.

It was these jabs that, at least in part, have caued Kimmel to put an end to his back-and-forth with Hannity.

“By lampooning Sean Hannity’s deference to the President, I most certainly did not intend to belittle or upset members of the gay community and to those who took offense, I apologize,” wrote Kimmel, adding that he did “have fun” exchanging barbs with Hanniyu.

HOWEVER…

“After some thought I realize that the level of vitriol (mine and me included) does nothing good for anyone and, in fact, is harmful to our country.”

The comedian also touched on “vile attacks” against his wife and “wishes for death” on his infant son that he had received as a result of the exchange, expressing hope that the instigators would “give their words and actions thought.”

Tongue firmly planed in cheek at times, Kimmel got in a few shots at Hannity while still seeking to calm tempers, writing:

I will take Sean Hannity at his word that he was genuinely offended by what I believed and still believe to be a harmless and silly aside referencing our First Lady’s accent.

I am hopeful that Sean Hannity will learn from this too and continue his newly-found advocacy for women, immigrants and First Ladies and that he will triumph in his heroic battle against sexual harassment and perversion.”

Hannity did not respond to this statement with one of his own.

Not yet at least anyway.

“Just had this pop up. I am at a tournament with my daughter. I’ll have a full and comprehensive response tomorrow on Hannity. 9 EST FOX,” the Fox News veteran Tweeted on Sunday.

sh reply

Even before this argument with Hannity, Kimmel was often a target of disdain from conservatives.

He has used his platform often of late to advocate for various causes, breaking down in tears at one point over a failure of Congress to pass gun control legislation.

Kimmel also pushed hard and emotionally for universal health care after his newborn son had to undergo emergency heart surgery last year.

You can watch Kimmel and his child together in the following video while the world anxiously waits to see if Hannity responds to Kimmel’s statement with class and maturity or…

… LOL, who are we kidding?

While we wait to see just how Hannity brags about how he clearly won this ongoing debate.

Hannity Fans Destroy Coffee Makers, Urge Nation to #BoycottKeurig

As previously reported, Roy Moore has been accused of child molestation.

The Alabama Senate candidate reportedly made sexual advances toward a 14-year old back when he was 32 years old.

The Washington Post spoke to 30 sources for this bombshell story and has stood by every detail, despite threats of a lawsuit from Moore and a few harsh words from his supporters.

One of those supporters, of course, is Sean Hannity.

The Fox News host has gone to extreme lengths to attempt and explain why Moore"s alleged actions really aren"t a big deal, much to the shock and outrage of those who do think pedophilia ought to disqualify one from public office.

In response to Hannity"s support for Moore, Keurig is among the companies that has stopped advertising on the conservative host"s talk show.

And, as you"re about to find out, loyal Hannity viewers have certain feelings about this decision…

1. Excuse Us, Keurig?

Excuse us keurig

The official Twitter account for this coffee maching responded to a concerned user by saying it has pulled its support for Hannity.

2. And From There?

And from there

Well, the #MAGA floodgates opened wide, with various Fox News viewers finding unique ways to destroy their Keurig machines over the Internet.

3. Pulling an Office Space

Pulling an office space

If you haven’t seen Office Space… what is wrong with you?!? Go rent Office Space! Also, this means the guy is about to use a hammer and other tools to break his Keurig into many pieces.

4. A Couple Quick Points to Make:

A couple quick points to make

1. LOL. No liberal is “offended” by the destruction of a Keurig. 2. You can’t boycott a product you already purchased.

5. Deplorables Unite!

Deplorables unite

It will be ironic when these people are too tired to go vote in the 2018 mid-term elections.

6. Liberals are SO Offended

Or… you know, not.

Sean Hannity: FIRED From Fox News Over Seth Rich Conspiracy Theory?

If you’re familiar with Sean Hannity, you know that he’s the national news media’s answer to the former fat kid who went from bullied to bully after making third string offensive line, and who now makes up for lost time by shoving twice as many kids into lockers.

Hannity used to beat up on his on-air partner, Alan Colmes, who was clearly meant to play the role of the Fox News audience’s idea of a typical liberal: meek, bookish, always wrong.

But these days, Hannity is on his own, and so he’s forced to terrorize less likely victims.

Like, say, the families of promising young men murdered in their prime.

As you’ve likely heard by now, a DNC employee named Seth Rich was tragically shot dead at the age of 27 in July of last year.

Police have concluded that Rich’s murder was part of a botched robbery attempt, but naturally, the tin foil-hat-wearing nut jobs who brought us #Pizzagate and Alex Jones heard the words “murder” and “DNC” in the same sentence and immediately became fully erect.

Having long ago exchanged his soul for a profitable share in the 49-65 demo, Sean Hannity has decided in recent weeks to force Rich’s family to relive the grim details of their son’s murder in service of a conspiracy theory that his own network has renounced.

Yes, Fox News officially believes there’s no connection between Rich’s murder and the Hillary Clinton email scandal.

(Ya know, because why in the hell would there be?)

Additionally, Rich’s family has publicly asked Hannity to stop politicizing their son’s murder and dragging his legacy through the mud.

But at first, Hannity refused to let it go.

Not only because it was great for whipping up a frenzy at retirement communities all over the country, but also because he had some great sources on his side:

We’re talking about folks like international fugitive Julian Assange and a hacker named – we sh-t you not – Kim Dotcom.

Move over, Woodward and Bernstein! Assange and Dotcom are not members of Tracy Morgan’s entourage on 30 Rock, but rather totes legit journalists here to steal your crown!

Of course, following the firing of Bill O’Reilly, multiple sexual harassment scandals, the departure of Megyn Kelly, and the death of Roger Ailes, Fox News is on shaky ground these days.

Many advertisers who aren’t thrilled with the idea of terrorizing parents who recently lost a child have already jumped ship, and Hannity was forced to issue an on-air pseudo-apology earlier this week.

Now, Hannity has announced some unexpected “time off,” which is the Fox News-speak equivalent of when your parents say they’re taking the family dog to live on a farm upstate.

Hannity addressed the rumors that he’s being canned by claiming (like O’Reilly and Kelly before him) that his vacation was totally planned and he’ll be back before you know it.

“ANNUAL Memorial Day long weekend starts NOW,” Hannity tweeted, adding, for clarification, that he has not taped his “last show.”

Yes, friend of the working man Sean Hannity might be in the midst of a tireless effort to expose the political scandal of a lifetime, but sometimes you just have to take a five-day long weekend to get your chillax on, ya know?

Hopefully, Sean gets the R&R he needs, and returns ready to stoke the flames of some Des Moines meth-head’s dangerous paranoia.

After all, the parents of murdered young people aren’t gonna bully themselves.
