Miranda Lambert and Anderson East: About to Take that Exciting Next Step?!
Miranda Lambert’s music may be a far cry from Beyonce’s, but it sounds like Miranda’s boyfriend, Anderson East, listens to Queen Bey’s lyrics. Or, at least, to the very firm advice in “Single Ladies.”
You know — the part about putting a ring on it.
Just over two years since new broke that Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton had split, it looks like Miranda Lambert has wedding bells on the horizon.
For four years, Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton were something of a power couple — within the context of country music, anyway.
After months of the two living separate lives and rumors that Miranda Lambert cheated on Blake, the world finally learned that they filed for divorce in July of 2015.
Breakups can be rough, and celebrity breakups are undoubtedly worse, but … honestly? It seems like it’s been for the better.
For both of them.
Blake Shelton, of course, has his massively publicized relationship with Gwen Stefani.
Just look at how they celebrated his most recent birthday.
But Miranda Lambert’s been moving on, too.
She’s found a boyfriend in Alabama native and rhythm & blues singer Anderson East.
It sounds like their relationship is about to take an exciting next step!
According to what sources tell Us Weekly, Miranda Lambert and Anderson East could get engaged very soon.
For starters, there’s compatibility.
Sources say that the two “are very much in sync.”
And they do not mean the boy band.
“He’s crazy about Miranda and she’s so smitten with him as well.”
That’s been pretty apparent, but it’s good to hear.
“Their friends can definitely see them getting engaged in the near future.”
Right … but how near? That’s what we want to know.
There have been celebrity engagement that have lasted years and years and others that only last months.
How long is this pre-engagement expected to last, exactly?
“They love to play music together, drink, have fun, and hang out.”
We have to say that, while those sound specific to those two, that also sounds almost universal for all human beings who enjoy each other’s company.
Maybe not the music part … though plenty of people have made music with friends at some point or another.
Miranda hasn’t been shy about her affections.
Back on Anderson East’s 30th birthday — she’s only three years older, so let’s not go calling her a cougar, even if they look like their age difference might be a little more than that — Miranda had zero chill about Anderson.
She announced that he “owns” her heart, answering that question posed in one of our favorite old Miley songs.
She referred to him as “a light that could outshine the sun,” which sounds like it could be a joke about him being a redhead.
But it actually sounds super sweet.
Miranda also declared that she loves making memories with Anderson. Sure.
Now, we know that hearing this, even from multiple sources, isn’t the same as reading an announcement or seeing a ring.
In fact, there have already been recent rumors that Miranda Lambert and Anderson East are secretly engaged.
Secret engagements do happen sometimes, but it’s easy for a simple misunderstanding to start a rumor like that.
What really drives up those kinds of impressions, however, is when a couple is so close that everyone in their lives expects the next text or phone call or social media post to be an engagement announcement.
But there’s no telling how long Miranda and Anderson (Miranderson?) are going to keep us on our toes.

Blake Shelton to Miranda Lambert: Just Get Over Me Already!
Can you believe it’s already been two years since Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert got divorced?
Guess time flies when you dump your wife and get with a pop legend within about two seconds, huh?
Just kidding — Blake seems really happy with Gwen Stefani, and the heart wants what it wants and all that.
Besides, we heard rumors that both Blake and Miranda were cheating on each other, so perhaps it’s for the best that they split.
But what we’re getting at here is that it’s been two years since those two country superstars shocked us all with their quickie divorce.
It’s just funny how fast things can change.
And that thought came up because Miranda just opened up a bit about the divorce in a new interview with Billboard.
It’s interesting because she hasn’t talked much at all about what happened between her and Blake, or at least not as much as we’d all like.
She did release a pretty personal album late last year, with songs many speculated were about the split, but she didn’t promote the album much.
Suffice it to say, she definitely didn’t promote it by serving up any gossip that would’ve resulted in major headlines.
“I just didn’t need to talk about the record,” she explains in her new interview.
“If you want to hear my side of the story or my opinion of what happened, it’s all on there.”
“There’s no mystery anymore — take from it what you will.”
It’s also revealed that she wrote the single “Vice” the day we learned that they’d filed for divorce.
She says that she walked into the recording studio to write the song “with guns blazing. I just knew one thing: I didn’t want a breakup record.”
Miranda also says that it took her nearly a year to write the entire album, and “I was like, ‘Let’s feel it all."”
“I was ready to have the days where I can’t even stand up and the days where I’m celebrating.”
And that’s all fine, right? It’s not like she got super personal, she just shared a tiny glimpse of what she felt after the divorce.
But, according to a source who spoke to Hollywood Life, Blake isn’t too pleased with what Miranda said.
“Blake desperately wants to close the chapter in his life with Miranda,” the source explains.
“The proof was in his 2016 album, where everything on the record was his way of releasing his emotions about the divorce.”
“As much as he would like her not to talk about the divorce anymore, or at all, he respects that Miranda has to get over it in her way.”
So Blake released an album about the divorce, Miranda released an album about the divorce, and then she made a few statements about the album.
He’s seriously not cool with how that played out?
Couldn’t it have been much worse? Wouldn’t it be in almost every other high-profile case involving a celebrity split of this magnitude?
This source insists that “He doesn’t want to throw any gas on the fire and say what she is doing is bad or upsets him, because that would be unfair.”
“Blake knows what he’ll always be linked to Miranda in some way or another. But, he is now where he wants to be and hopes that she is as well.”
“Or at least is getting there.”
So right now, he’s just “not going to stress on it,” because “it is what it is.”
What a bunch of nonsense, right?
We all know Blake is happy with Gwen, and Miranda seems like she’s having a great time with Anderson East.
They’re both doing well after the divorce, and they both dealt with it in similar ways, so why would Blake try to get on a high horse and act like he’s more evolved than Miranda?
Honestly, sometimes Blake Shelton just needs to hush. It appears like this is one of those times.

Miranda Lambert & Anderson East: Engaged!
Back in 2015, Miranda Lambert was involved in one of the most high-profile celebrity breakups in recent memory when she got divorced from Blake Shelton.
Amazingly, however, the couple kept things relatively amicable (at least publicly) and just two years later, they’ve both found love again.
Shelton is dating Gwen Stefani, of course, and Lambert has moved on with fellow country singer Anderson East.
Shelton and Stefani have received more attention from the tabloids, but now it looks as though Lambert and East will be first to the altar.
Yes, according to In Touch, Miranda and Anderson got engaged recently following a unique proposal.
According to an insider, it was Miranda who popped the question to Anderson … and she did so over the phone.
“They actually got engaged over the phone in late June,” a source tells the magazine.
“Miranda was playing a festival in Chicago and Anderson was at a gig in St. Louis. They were up talking long into the night and suddenly Miranda blurted out, ‘Will you marry me?’”
Apparently, Anderson initially thought Miranda was joking.
“When Miranda told him that she was serious, Anderson didn’t think twice about saying yes,” says the tipster.
So we guess congratulations are in order for Miranderson!
Which is great, because we love saying Miranderson.
Miranda and Anderson started dating just a few months after her separation from Shelton in 2015.
Those closest to the couple say they hit off immediately, and there was never any doubt that they were headed for the altar.
There’s no word yet on a wedding date.
In fact, East and Lambert have yet to officially confirm that they’re engaged.
But insiders say they’re in a hurry to become man and wife, and they’ll likely make it official at a small, intimate wedding attended only by family and close friends.
The question on many fans’ minds now is whether or not Blake and Gwen will follow suit.
Rumors about Stefani and Shelton getting engaged have been circulating pretty much from the time they started dating, but again, no confirmation yet.
No matter what happens, Blake and Miranda both wasted no time in getting back on the horse.

Miranda Kerr and Evan Spiegel: Married!
Great news for fans of Miranda Kerr, and for fans of love stories and happy endings everywhere!
Yesterday Miranda married Evan Spiegel!
She’d been friends with the Snapchat CEO for a while, but they began dating in 2015, two years after she divorced Orlando Bloom.
They announced their engagement in July of last year, and now, they are husband and wife.
It’s enough to make you swoon, right?
But, if you’re not prone to swooning, you may need to wait to hear all the lovely details of the happy couple’s special day.
According to a report from E! News, Miranda and Evan held the wedding at their home in Brentwood, California.
A source says that “It was a small intimate wedding” with less than 50 guests, and that Miranda looked like a “natural princess.”
It’s Miranda Kerr — we definitely believe it.
“The vows were beautiful,” the source adds, claiming that both the bride and groom were crying during the ceremony, which reportedly lasted 20 minutes.
After Miranda and Evan were named husband and wife, everyone cheered, because really, why wouldn’t you?
Another of the lucky few guests reveals that prior to the wedding, cocktails were served while a pianist and a string quartet played songs like “When You Wish Upon a Star.”
That guest also described the decorations as “rustic chic,” which makes sense for what had to have been one of the most glamorous backyard weddings in history.
“Everything was done elegantly,” with a variety of white seating options and pale pink roses.
But while the affair sounds just as classy as classy can be, we have to imagine it was also pretty adorable.
After all, Miranda announced the engagement on Snapchat with a photo of her ring and a cartoon filter — they’re classy, but not stuffy.
In fact, they’re so not stuff that there’s a good chance Orlando Bloom was on that extremely short guest list.
They share a son, five-year-old Flynn, and they’ve proven themselves to be remarkably great at co-parenting.
Not only that, but Orlando was photographed out and about with Miranda’s father the day before the wedding.
Seems like things couldn’t be going better for Miranda, huh?

Miranda Lambert & Anderson East: It"s Over!
Back in 2015 the Blake Shelton-Miranda Lambert divorce was one of the biggest celebrity splits of the year.
But less than two years later, it already feels like ancient history.
Part of the reason for that is that Blake and Miranda both moved on with surprising speed.
Blake, obviously started dating Gwe Stefani before the ink was dry on his divorce papers.
And Miranda got involved with Anderson East just a few weeks later.
Unfortunately, while Blake and Gwen appear to be headed for the altar, Miranda’s rebound romance has gone quite as smoothly.
After weeks of rumors that they’re on the outs, Miranderson appears to have declared an official cooling off period.
Yes, they’re technically not broken up; they’re just “on a break.”
But you know how those situations tend to play out …
The story comes to us from OK! magazine via an In Touch, and the tabloid claims that the break was Anderson’s idea.
Apparently, he’s been feeling pressure to propose to Miranda, but he simply doesn’t think it’s the right time to put a ring on it.
“He told her he wants to take a break,” a source tells In Touch.
The insider adds that Miranda is holding out hope … but she also has her doubts:
“She really felt they were meant to be together. And they still may be — Anderson is only cooling things off,” the tipster says.
“But that doesn’t take away the sting for Miranda.”
The source adds:
“She really loves Anderson and thought they were doing so well…She believed she and Anderson connected on so many levels,”
Amazingly, this could be the rare case in which a couple takes a Ross-and-Rachel-esque break, but then actually works their issues out and gets back together.
It seems Anderson really does think Miranda is the one … but he’s just not ready to take the leap yet.
“He knew it was going to hurt her but he also knows they’re both just not ready for this,” says the source.
“He’s not counting out them getting back together or even marrying someday. He just couldn’t see them marrying now.”
But apparently all Anderson’s promises aren’t doing much to soften the blow for Miranda:
“Miranda still feels like she’s been dumped by someone she loves so much,” says the insider.
