6ix9ine May Go to Prison as a Registered Sex Offender

Last month, the rapper named 6ix9ine was robbed and left for dead. He survived … but he may find himself wondering if that was really for the best.

See, 6ix9ine has gotten into trouble, which violates his probation following a plea deal that he made a few years ago.

And because that plea deal was over an incident involving a 13-year-old, he may have to register as a sex offender.

It may not surprise you to learn that 6ix9ine, a rapper whose look can best be described as “Pennywise’s estranged son,” may end up going to prison as a sex offender.

Back in 2015, 6ix9ine, who is also known as Tekashi69 and whose real name is Daniel Hernandez, pleaded guilty to “the use of a child in a sexual performance.”

If you think that it sounds bad, you’re right! 6ix9ine is currently 22 years old, and was already an adult at the time of his plea.

He himself had posted the videos in which he was partying with a 13-year-old girl.

The plea was supposed to allow him to weasel out of the whole ordeal … but it looks like he blew it.

6ix9ine’s guilty plea was part of a deal that included a stipulation that he not get into trouble again.

Well, since then, the rapper has gotten into trouble again.

Specifically, he’s in trouble for driving on a suspended license, assault, and assaulting a police officer.

That first charge about the license may sound nitpicky to some.

Assault on anyone — including a police officer — does not.

The plea deal would have prevented 6ix9ine from having a criminal record once the period of probation had ended.

Instead, at a hearing on Thursday, the Manhattan District Attorney’s office asked the court to revoke the plea deal on the grounds that 6ix9ine had not kept his part of the bargain.

If the deal is revoked, 6ix9ine will be sentenced to 1 to 3 years in prison.

He will also have to register as a sex offender.

In general, known sex offenders, particularly those who are identified as having preyed upon young children, have especially dangerous experiences while in prison.

That said, 6ix9ine could still get out of this. After all, he got away with the incident with the 13-year-old in the first place.

He has a new hearing on October 2.

The DA will argue that he should have a criminal record after this, despite the deal.

This is because prosecutors say that because his brand promotes a culture of violence and crime, and therefore violates the spirit of the law.

Honestly? While it seems clear that he probably violated the plea deal, arguing that a rapper’s lyrics preclude them from having a criminal record expunged is not the strongest legal case we’ve ever read.

So, being a rapper doesn’t mean that someone can’t be an upstanding citizen.

At the same time, however, looking at various celebrities who have used their fame and resources to weasel out of charges involving sexual predation and minors, many say that 6ix9ine should have a record.

Any parent considering allowing their minor child to attend a 6ix9ine event should Google him, see his criminal history, and then say “no.”

A rapper can be an upstanding citizen.

But based upon his guilty plea from a few years ago, 6ix9ine just might be dangerous around minors.

Some of his fans are terrified that he will end up behind bars, but it’s hard to feel sympathy for the guy.

Brock Turner, Convicted Rapist, Registers as Sex Offender

Yes, by now, you likely know who Brock Turner is.

You probably didn’t need us to write in the above headline that he’s a “convicted rapist.”

Except far too many media outlets seemed to bury this lede when reporting on Brock Turner getting out of jail last week.

They wrote that “Former Stanford Swimmer Brock Turner…” was now out of prison or some similar nonsense.

So we just want to make it clear here:

Yes, Brock Turner once swam for Stanford University.

But that fact only matters to the shady judge who gave him a lenient sentence.

Brock Turner is only generating headlines these days because he is a rapist. He was convicted on three felony counts of sexual assault against an unconscious woman.

Okay, thank you for indulging us.

We had to get that out of our system.

Turner was somehow sentenced to only six months in prison for his heinous act, which took place in January of last year and which involved him inserting his figures in a woman lying on the street outside a party.

He was caught by a couple of fellow students and ran away as quickly as he could at the time.

Fortunately, one of those students caught up to Turner and tackled him to the ground.

He was eventually arrested and convicted of rape, only for his father to argue in court that his son did not deserve any jail time for a mere “20 minutes of action.”

The judge incredibly agreed with this assessment, going against the prosecutors’ recommendation and sentencing Turner to six months behind bars, which was reduced to three months due to good behavior.

Turner is now a free man.

But he will at least have an official stigma attached to his name forever.

As you can see below, Turner registered on Tuesday morning in Greene County, Ohio as a sex offender.

This registration, along with drug and alcohol counseling, was part of Turner’s legal “punishment.”

We have to put that word in quotation marks because it’s abhorrent just how easy to judge went on Turner.

In response to the light sentencing, Turner’s unnamed victim read a moving letter to her rapist in court.

It was then read on CNN by anchor Ashleigh Banfield, who fought off tears as she made public the words of this brave young woman.

It’s well worth your time to watch the video above.

Yes, it will make you even angrier over the Brock Turner sentencing.

But it will hopefully comfort you in the knowledge that his victim seems like the sort of woman who will recover from his act and maybe even use her horrible history to help others.

Brock Turner is a rapist. Brock Turner is a rapist. Brock Turner is a rapist.

Sorry. Just had to make sure we said that a few more times.

Adam Lind: Did He Allow Daughters Around Sex Offender?

On Monday’s episode of Teen Mom 2, Adam Lind took his two daughters, Aubree and Paislee to Sky Zone trampoline park.

For some reason, he chose to bring two friends along.

One of those friends, Bruce William Crawford, has been a registered sex offender for eight years, according to Radar Online.

That’s not all!  Crawford was charged on March 8th with “three felony counts of sexual exploitation, one misdemeanor count of distributing harmful materials, or pornography, to minors, and two misdemeanor counts of obscene and lewd phone calls.”

Radar got ahold of court documents that state Crawford forced penis pictures on a 17-year-old Siux City Falls sporting goods cashier.

With “two small children” in tow, Crawford, 25, “swiped the [penis] photo onto his cell phone that was set on the counter directly in front of his crotch area,” according to an affidavit written by investigator Robert Forster.

“As the transaction continued, the suspect presented cash to the victim directly over the penis photograph and in front of his crotch area to depict the picture as an extension of his body.”

The cashier was “upset and shocked” by Crawford’s actions, telling officers that he told her, “by the way, it’s ten inches.”

The next day, the cashier’s co-worker called the cops, who reviewed security footage and were able to track Crawford down.

He’s currently in jail, per the National Sex Offender Registry, and holds a previous conviction of indecent exposure in 2008.
