Gary Shirley to Amber Portwood: Your Fiance Has SEVEN KIDS!

“Her fiancé has seven kids and she don’t even know about this,” Gary Shirley, Amber Portwood"s ex, boldly yet casually declares on Teen Mom: OG.

Seven?

In the first Teen Mom Season 5 trailer, there was no doubt about the fact that the OGs are all facing their share of adversity this coming season.

(Okay, maybe not Tyler Baltierra and Catelynn Lowell, who remain the most perfect couple EVER, but that"s a tangent for another time.)

But look, it"s always a rough road for Amber Portwood and Gary Shirley, and this snippet from the new season, kicking off January 4, shows it.

Gare-Bear is seen telling his attorney the alleged fact above about Baier, Amber"s fiance, just before the camera cuts to her yelling at Shirley.

“I’ve been with this man over a year, I think I know him,” Portwood says, defending her man whose romance with her has been suspect at best.

Still, “we are very happy,” she told MTV News of her partner.

“I’ve never felt this way about somebody else in my life.”

Matt Baier popped the question last November, as fans who watch Teen Mom online likely remember. A year later, they are going strong.

The single mom shares daughter Leah, 6, with Shirley, but requests legal joint custody of their little girl – a big step up – this season.

“I’ve been out for three years and I’m sober,” she says.

“I want joint custody of my daughter.”

Given that she"s been in prison, while Gary Shirley and Kristina Anderson got married and are chilling at home making babies of their own?

That could be a tall order for Ambs.

The Originals Season 3 Episode 9 Recap: O, Hell-y Night

We thought we were good this year, writers of The Originals.

We didn’t think we deserved what you made us suffer through at the end of The Originals Season 3 Episode 9.

Most of the show’s winter finale was sort of a mess.

It focused on the return of Rebekah and, while we adore Claire Holt in this role, it all came across as random and haphazard:

Rebekah was suffering from a mark on her arm, the result of that dagger Aya had plunged into her before dropping her in a coffin and then burying her underwear, per Aurora’s orders.

But Elijah then recovered her sister and brought her back to the compound, where said mark made Rebekah go sort of insane.

There was a lot of yelling and a big fight between Rebekah and Hayley (who made up this week with Jackson)… but then Freya came up with a magical solution and the situation seemed to be fixed.

Yet Rebekah still had to leave because she and her brothers determined that it would help their fight against their sires of Lucien, Tristan and Aurora believed she was still in that coffin, under their control.

But another twist: Rebekah said her goodbyes, only to later call Elijah and tell him the mark had returned.

He had to dagger her in order to keep her under control. He could awaken her when things calmed down and when Freya came up with a new way to make the mark disappear.

Reluctantly, Elijah agreed.

Perhaps the Rebekah cameo was meant to serve as a bait and switch.

With viewers focused on her return, they likely did not see the crazy ending coming:

After Klaus and Camille finally admitted their feelings for each other, they ended up in bed together (ooooh, yeah!!!!), only for Klaus to then wake up with blood on his hands.

It was Cami’s blood. Her throat had been slashed.

It’s safe to assume she’s dead, right? Her throat was most definitely all the way slashed.

And it’s safe to assume Aurora did the dirty deed, right? Although it seems rather far-fetched that she could sneak into the Mikaelson compound undetected and then even into Klaus’ bedroom and kill the woman sleeping in his arms.

Doesn’t Klaus have, like, REALLY good hearing?

We’ll learn plenty more when the series moves to Fridays and returns on January 29.

So much for sleeping in heavenly peace.

On The Vampire Diaries Season 7 Episode 9, the brothers Salvatore found themselves on the losing end of a feud with Julian, ending their run on Thursday nights in a similar predicament.

Indeed, when The Vampire Diaries Season 7 returns on Friday (yes, Friday!), January 29, Damon and Stefan will each be living through their own personal versions of Hell.

The siblings tried to team up in order to take down their late mother’s lover and, simply put, they failed.

After tracking Julian to his hometown and then getting into a fight over whether they could defeat him and the small army he built up there, Stefan and Damon returned home.

The latter didn’t really care about avenging his mom’s death, but Stefan would not let the issue go.

He worked with Valerie to kidnap Mary-Louise in order to draw Julian out, but this just made him mad.

It all led to a showdown in Mystic Falls, one Julian won when he plunged the Phoenix Stone-infused sword into Damon’s gut.

He then ran away, leaving Stefan to wonder about all the terrible things Damon was living through again as a result of being trapped in that stone.

(The viewers got a look, for example, of Damon fighting in the Civil War.)

But just as Stefan was mourning his brother… BAM! Nora, angry over the Mary Louise abduction (and having knocked Bonnie out earlier because she believed she played a role in it, showed up out of nowhere.

She somehow had the sword and she plunged it into Stefan.

So that’s how The Vampire Diaries wrapped up 2015: with brothers brothers down, out and stuck in the Phoenix Stone.

• THREE YEARS INTO THE FUTURE, we saw that Stefan was living with Valerie in Chicago. They are seemingly in love and happy, but he’s taking off to go save Caroline and Damon.


• Caroline is not reacting well to being a pregnant vampire. Her hormones are a mess, which means she’s often lashing out in dangerous ways.


• No Matt or Enzo sighting, so no update on who is helping the former round up vampires such as the latter.
