Father of Stanford Rapist Minimizes Son"s Actions: Read His Statement

On June 2, Brock Turner – a swimmer from Stanford University – was convicted of sexually assaulting an unconscious woman near a dumpster.

His sentence of just six months in jail, followed by three months of probation, was seen as a slap on the wrist to many. It has stirred up an Internet storm.

The judge ruled that a longer sentence would have done the 20-year old more harm than necessary, despite actions most believe to have been unconscionable.

There has been outrage on social media about the whole thing and now Turner’s father, Dan, has only added fuel to the fire. A lot of fuel to the fire.

In a statement, he compared his son’s assault on the woman to “20 minutes of action” for which his child should not be punished with any jail time.

Seriously.

This is a look at the statement in full:

This case has gone viral because the brave victim at the center of it stood in front of the judge last week and read a moving letter, directing her anger, pain, bitterness and shock to Turner and everyone in court.

In instances like this, you expect the parents to be releasing an apology for bringing the offender into this world… but it appears Brock’s father is just as deluded as him.

“His life will never be the one that he dreamed about and worked so hard to achieve,” Turner wrote.

“That is a steep price to pay for 20 minutes of action out of his 20-plus years of life.”

The whole thing is pretty disgusting.

He then went on to speak about how his son has lost his appetite nowadays. He also blamed the incident on “binge drinking” and “promiscuity.”

It’s truly disgusting all around.

As a quick refresher:

On January 18, 2015, two students found Brock on top of the unconscious woman. They even tackled him when he tried to flee.

Evidence pointed to Turner shoving his fingers inside the woman, along with pine needles and other objects.

His attorney tried to argue in court that the sex was consensual and that Turner asked for permission every step of the way.

But a jury saw right through this defense. They found him guilty on multiple counts of rape.

Yes, rape. Someone might want to explain what that term means to Mr. Turner.

Coco Austin: Check Out My Butt!!!!!

Coco Austin is back at it, folks.

The reality star has once again taken to Instagram in order to address certain world events and offer up her take on how we can best achieve peace and unity as a people.

Just kidding.

Austin is posing in a very risque outfit.

The blonde bombshell has come under a lot of fire for the way she uses her social media account, but, to her credit, Coco doesn’t seem to care.

She’s gonna pose in seductive manners and show her baby off in weird outfits and she doesn’t really care what you think about it.

In the latest example, Coco is wearing your basic little black dress… except it’s very tight and she is facing away from the camera in order to flaunt her rear end.

It was snapped in Atlantic City, on a date night Austin shared over the weekend with husband Ice-T.

“I don’t get dressed up as much as I used to since the baby,” she wrote of her evening out without daughter Chanel. “It feels good to look pretty when I’m not in mama mode.”

Ever since giving birth in November, Coco has taken it upon herself to stand up for mothers around the world.

Who says they can’t have a good time? (Really, we’re not sure; who says this?)

“Even though I have a baby, I can still put on makeup, do my hair and get my nails done and be put together by my outfit,” she has previously said of her style.

“I’m not overdoing it. It’s the way my personality is. It’s not like I’m going to be in a moo-moo tomorrow. People need to get over that.”

Well said, Coco!

But maybe just chill on the Twerking in lingerie thing? That’s all we ask.

Cincinnati Zoo Parents: Will They Be Charged in Murder of Harambe?

The verdict is in.

About a week after officials at the Cincinnati Zoo shot and killed a gorilla named Harambe because they feared it would injure a toddler who had fallen into its enclosure, we now have legal closure on the case that has captivated the nation.

The parents of said toddler will not be charged with any kind of crime.

Hamilton County prosecutor Joe Deters announced on Monday morning that Michelle Gregg was NOT negligent when her three-year-old boy strayed from her watch the Cincinnati Zoo.

Many on the Internet have been calling for Gregg’s head ever since the video below went viral:

It depicts the 17-year old, 450-pound gorilla throwing the child all around.

Did Harambe mean the infant harm? Maybe not.

But when you have this kind of size and strength discrepancy, there’s simply no way of knowing what would have happened… and no way the zoo could have taken any chances.

In making his ruling, Deters pointed out Gregg had three other kids with her at the time one of her sons ended up in the animal’s clutches.

Moreover, based on surveillance footage and witnesses at the scene, she was being attentive. Accidents simply happen.

Deters explained very simply that “kids can scamper off and they do.”

He added, in sort of hilarious fashion, that if Gregg had been “in the bathroom smoking crack that would have been a different story, but that’s not what happened.”

Deters concluded by saying “there’s nothing that the mother could have done” and also defended the zoo’s difficult decision in putting Harambe down.

The lawyer labeled this a “painful choice” for officials to make, however:

“It’s still an animal. It does not equate to human life.”

Brandi Glanville Posts Half-Naked Selfie, Wants Back On The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills

Soooo, Brandi Glanville posed in her undies and complained about her post-baby waistline.

The thing is, I’m not sure if I should be looking at a particular part of her torso, because she looks like a weight loss “After” picture.

“Trying to get my pre-baby waistline back :/,” Glanville wrote on June 5th.

“Have a little more work to do.”

Glanville can be forgiven for wanting to keep it super-right and super-tight; her new E! reality show, Famously Single premieres on June 14th, and the model knows that when you feel good, you look good.

Glanville co-star on the “relationship rehab” show alongside Jersey Shore’s Pauly D, former Danity Kane member Aubrey O’Day, The Bachelorette‘s Josh Murray, model Jessica White, former NFL player Willis McGahee, Love & Hip Hop‘s Somaya Reece, and British reality star Calum Best.

In a press release for the show, Glanville revealed the number one reason why she signed on.

“I’m single because I tend to sabotage relationships when I get even the smallest amount of suspicion,” Glanville admitted.

“Only a small percentile of men can actually keep it in their pants.”

Famously Single isn’t Glanville’s only gig; In addition to her podcast, Brandi Glanville Unfiltered, the Sacramento native is set to host My Kitchen Rules, a cooking competition with LeAnn Rimes’ ex-husband, Dean Sheremet.

Additionally, Glanville recently revealed that she would definitely consider returning to The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

With Kathryn Edwards reportedly out, there’s room to spare for the franchise’s resident trouble maker.

“I’m not ruling it out absolutely, but I’m so much happier not doing the show at the moment,” Glanville told Australia’s NW magazine.

“It was toxic after a while, so it’s good to get a break.”

Glanville formed a strong bond with Kim Richards, who also left the show to work on her sobriety.

There is no word from Bravo on who will appear on the next season of Beverly Hills.
