Prince William Makes History As First Royal To Cover Gay Magazine

It"s an incredibly powerful statement to make, and one that could not have come at a better time.

Today, Attitude magazine revealed Prince William as their July cover star, a huge step towards promoting acceptance and support of LGBTQ"s global community.

On May 12th, the Duke of Cambridge invited a few staff members from the gay publication, as well as members of LGBTQ, to Kensington Palace, where the group discussed bullying based on sexual orientation and its mental health consequences.

William is the first royal to be on the cover of a gay magazine, something everyone in the world sorely needed to see after the mass shooting in Orlando on June 12th.

A day before the cover was unveiled, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge signed a book of condolence at the U.S. Embassy in London.

There, they chatted with members of LGBTQ group Gliffa, and William revealed that he was doing something special with Attitude (neither Kensington Palace nor Attitude would comment on the project at the time).

When the May 12th meeting wrapped, the Duke released the following statement:

“No one should be bullied for their sexuality or any other reason and no one should have to put up with the kind of hate that these young people have endured in their lives.

“The young gay, lesbian and transgender individuals I met through Attitude are truly brave to speak out and to give hope to people who are going through terrible bullying right now. Their sense of strength and optimism should give us all encouragement to stand up to bullying wherever we see it.

“What I would say to any young person reading this who’s being bullied for their sexuality: don’t put up with it – speak to a trusted adult, a friend, a teacher, Childline, Diana Award or some other service and get the help you need.

“You should be proud of the person you are and you have nothing to be ashamed of.”

Adam Lind: QUITTING Teen Mom 2 After Fight With Fans?!

While the first Teen Mom 2 reunion show offered plenty of dramatic fireworks with updates on the tumultuous lives of Leah Messer and Jenelle Evans, it’s the second part of the special that fans are really looking forward to.

Not only will the show bring us up to speed on the confusing situation between Kailyn Lowry and Javi Marroquin, it will also offer the latest news on Chelsea Houska and Adam Lind.

Now, as you may know, Chelsea is engaged to Cole DeBoer, and she limits her contact with her baby daddy, Lind, as much as possible these days.

Of course, Houska can’t completely cut ties with her ex, as she’d like her daughter, Aubree, to have a father in her life.

Unfortunately, she seems to feel much stronger about amicable co-parenting that Lind does.

Lind has long been occupying the role of the Teen Mom 2‘s top villain (though Nathan Griffith has been giving him a run for his money in recent weeks) for quite some time now, but he may have taken his worst drubbings to date this season.

A moment in which Lind ditched Aubree on the night of a father-daughter dance particularly struck a chord with viewers, leading to Lind getting torn apart by angry fans on social media.

Now, it seems Lind has had enough of the abuse he so frequently receives from members of Team Houska.

In a new clip from part of the reunion special Lind appears to reveal that he won’t be returning for Teen Mom 2 Season 8:

“So you’re not going to talk on here, so you’re just going to sit here and not talk?” moderator Dr. Drew asks Lind in the clip above.

Lind clarifies, “I’m here because I’m under contract and I have to be here.

“Not going to give you guys what you want anymore. I’m just done with the show. I don’t want to participate in the show anymore,” he says. “I want out of this life, I’m f–king sick of it.”

Yeah, that sounds like a Lind-style resignation to us.

Kim Kardashian Wants To Get Rid Of Body Parts That Made Her Famous

NOOOOOOO!

While we give props to Kim Kardashian for losing the sixty pounds she gained while pregnant with son, Saint, we must insist she think long and hard about her new goal.

“My butt and my hips are the last to go, but I’m not stopping!” Kardashian told People, adding that she wanted to get down to 120 pounds (she currently weighs 132).

Kardashian has been diligent about workouts, and is even the spokesperson for the Atkins diet, which she strictly adheres to.

“After having two kids, and being able to get in shape and still feel good about myself, I’ve never felt better. I worked my ass off, I’ve altered my life and I’m proud of that,” she explained.

It wasn’t always that way, though.  Kardashian felt defeated after giving birth in December 2015, describing the internal struggle to the magazine.

“There was a moment after [son Saint was born last December] when my body was mush,” she admitted.

“I felt like Gumby. There was definitely a moment when I looked in the mirror and I was like, ‘I am never going to be the same."”

Kardashian eats no more than 1800 calories per day, a plan she’s devoted to.

“Anyone who has had kids knows your body changes, and it’s hard to get your body back in shape,” she admitted.

“It takes so much determination, and mental and physical power and energy.”

Kardashian shared her food diary with People, which included protein-rich meals like scrambled eggs with turkey sausage and gouda for breakfast, Atkins bars or carrots with hummus for snack time, and lemon thyme halibut with sautéed green beans for dinner.

The reality star has shared her weight struggles with fans via social media, elated at milestones reached like the recent measuring of her waist (26 inches).

As a lady, I must applaud Kardashian for her dedicated efforts and the struggle to bounce back after having two kids.  

True, she might have a personal chef and a trainer at her disposal, but at the end of the day, she’s got the same goal as the rest of us.

Jill & Jessa Duggar: Could Orlando Shooting Comments Lead to Cancellation?!

Ever since the world learned of the largest mass shooting in U.S. history on Saturday night, countless public figures have shared their grief and offered condolences to the families of those killed in the tragedy inside Pulse nightclub in Orlando.

Reality star Jessa Duggar and her husband, Ben Seewald, were among the celebrities who attempted to share comforting words with the victims’ loved ones…

Unfortunately, in Jessa and Ben’s case, those words came from infamous anti-gay leader Albert Mohler. 

In case you missed it, Mohler is the president of the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky.

He’s best known for encouraging all Christians to boycott the weddings of their LGBTQ friends and family.

Naturally, Jessa didn’t mention any of this when she posted this meme:

Along with a caption from of a quote from Mohler, reading:

“This is when we show that Christians mourn with those who mourn. May the Gospel of Jesus Christ be evident as the only power greater than a broken heart.”

Many fans were quick to point out that a quote from a man who has repeatedly and publicly condemned the gay community as a cesspool of sin and encouraged those with LGBTQ friends and family to cut ties is not the best response to a gunman killing dozens of patrons of a gay nightclub.

Given that Jessa’s reality show, Jill & Jessa: Counting On, was already facing cancellation, many believe this may be the final straw for TLC execs. 

While the show has consistently received decent ratings, several advertisers have pulled their support as a result of lingering controversy over the Josh Duggar sex scandals.

TLC has not yet announced that the show has been renewed for a second season, which has led many to speculate that they’ve quietly given Counting On the axe.

However, recent activity in the network’s promotion department has resulted in rumors that the Duggars have been renewed, and the network is just waiting for a relatively controversy-free period to make the announcement.

Will this latest dust-up result in a change of heart? Only time will tell, but right now, the future is not looking bright for Jessa and her older sister/co-star.
