Shahs of Sunset Season 5 Episode 12 Recap: Is It Too Late Now to Say Sorrrrrry?!

Did Mike win his wife back? That was the burning question on Shahs of Sunset Season 5 Episode 12 … but there was no easy answer.

If you watch Shahs of Sunset online, you know Mike Shouhed finally admitted to cheating on estranged wife, Jessica Parido, on Belize.

To the shock and amazement of … well, no one.

What would the fallout from this be, though?

When Shahs of Sunset Season 5 Episode 12 began, Asa Soltan Rahmati and Reza Farahan were catching up on how the night ended.

For what it’s worth, after Mike unraveled, Asa went clubbing with GG Gharachedaghi and Shervin Roohparvar, living it up in all night.

This, naturally, fueled Reza’s assumption that GG is faking rheumatoid arthritis – when he takes a break from meddling with Mike, that is.

Reza is seriously as duplicitous as they get these days, reaching out to Mike and telling him he has his back, he supports him, et cetera.

Not the sharpest tool in the shed, Mike naturally expresses thanks that his crew is looking out for him, and is with him in tough times.

Gullibility is a virtue for this guy at least.

On a field trip to some Mayan ruins, GG starts complaining that her RA is holding her back from ascending the steps at the same pace.

Reza had to be loving that one.

The journey down was so steep, and harrowing, that Tommy said he nearly “peed like a girl” even though that doesn’t make any sense.

Asa then asks GG to pose for “couple” photos, even though she’s single, which Reza jumps on, asking Asa why he’s taking saod pictures.

A screaming match promptly ensues, as Reza is clearly gunning for GG one way or the other and not impressed by her these days.

Reza proceeds to ridicule her (alleged) RA, which was a bit much, though he also said she goes out of her way to start drama with everyone.

Not untrue. Just saying.

GG responds that if Reza won’t support her, he could at least chill and refrain from trying to cut her down from a place of such negativity.

Well, yeah. Except …

Reza doing that would mean basically no Reza as we know him, and therefore no show. So it’s sort of a fool’s errand to pursue that, GG.

Anyway, we’re just getting started! Follow the above links to watch the episode from start to finish and see how it all played out in Belize.

Inmate Gives Prison 3 Out of 5 Stars

We’re learning more and more about prison these days.

First, there was the dangerous for-profit issues addressed on Orange is the New Black Season 4.

Then, there was that footage of men in a cell actually breaking out – while shackled! – to save the life of a guard.

And now we have the story of a man who was being held by the West Midlands Police in Birmingham, UK.

He was only there for 16 hours, but that was enough time for him to use a pen and paper to give an in-depth review of the conditions of the cells at the Perry Barr station.

Yes, this 24-year old (who was being held for “criminal damage” on property) treated his temporary home like a hotel and recounted his stay there in Trip Advisor-like form.

The reviewer only gave the prison three out of five stars, but the authorities were apparently flattered nonetheless because the Birmingham Police Department shared it on their Facebook page.

“Once in my cell I was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness and décor…neutrally decorated to please all parties but done to a high standard,” the reviewer wrote, adding a note of gratitude to officers for giving him the forum to express his thoughts.

The man did, however, notice a hair on the toilet in his cell and said his neighbor kept screaming curse words for a very long time.

The guest (yes, we use that term loosely) also complained about the cups of tea not arriving in timely fashion.

This is why he only gave the facility three stars overall.

Chief Inspector Paul Minor, West Midlands Police Criminal Justice Manager, said on Facebook that he disagreed with this assessment, writing:

“We feel it’s a five-star facility: it’s designed to be safer for staff and guests and the more efficient check-in process means we can get arresting officers back out on the streets more quickly.”

Concluded Minor:

“The reviewer has been very complimentary about the facility and staff…but I think he’s been a little harsh by awarding it just a three-star rating.”

We love everything about this story.

Woman Eats Own Hair For Seven Years, Doctors Remove 14-Pound Hairball From Stomach

A UK woman who suffered unexplained abdominal pain for months is feeling better after a 14-pound hairball was removed from her stomach.

That’ll do it.

Woman in the Hospital

Sophie Cox, 23, said that the giant ball of hair removed from her body had built up over seven years of compulsively eating her tresses.

Seriously.

Six years ago, Cox was first diagnosed with trichotillomania, a condition where sufferers endure a compulsive urge to pull out their hair.

Moreover, she has trichophagia, in which a person feels an urge to eat their own hair. All of a sudden, your health issues aren’t so bad.

Cox said when she was stressed out she found comfort from plucking strands of hair and eating them during the day, according to reports.

She thought it was harmless … until it wasn’t.

When she got pregnant in 2014, Cox suffered serious stomach pains and kept losing weight at a time when she should be gaining it.

That was the first warning sight. Then two months after her daughter was born, the pain was so excruciating, it left her doubled in agony.

“By October 2015, I couldn’t eat without vomiting and my stomach would swell up,” she said. “I’d lost [84 pounds] in two years.”

“I dropped six dress sizes, taking me to a size 12.”

Doctors had no clue what was wrong with her, but tested Cox for gallstones and stomach cancer. She, fortunately, had neither.

Finally, when Cox underwent an endoscopy last November, medical professionals figured out what was cause her discomfort.

This insanely giant hairball:

“When they showed me the scan I was speechless. It looked like something from a horror film,” she said, reflecting on her ordeal.

“The specialist hadn’t seen anything like it in 30 years. It was too big to break down in my stomach, leaving me malnourished and dehydrated.”

Even worse?

Having to wait five months to have it removed, due to various favors, including the scheduling of an elaborate, six-hour operation.

The hairball, or “trichobezoar,” was eventually taken out, and “I felt instantly better when I woke up, even though I was sore and groggy.”

“It was disgusting.”

Yes. Indeed it was.

“I cried with relief that it was gone,” Cox says, admitting that she has a problem and is being monitored to ensure no new hairballs develop.

She is on a list to receive treatment to help determine the underlying causes of the conditions that resulted in this experience.

“I’m just so thankful the hairball was found before it was too late,” she said, and a good thing too, for her sake and her child’s.

“Now I can get on with being a hands-on mum.”

Kim Kardashian Shares Saint West Photo, Pretends to Cook

Kim Kardashian had herself a very busy weekend at home.

She shared a new Saint West photo with social media followers… she had friends over for dinner… and she pretended to cook.

She also found time to respond in depth to a recent string of police shootings.

We can’t make fun of Kim in any way for that post, nor can we mock her for giving us yet another peek at Saint West.

Kardashian and husband Kanye West welcomed this child into the world on December 5.

However, to their credit, they did not sell the first Saint West photos to the highest tabloid bidder or anything of that nature.

They’ve actually kept the infant pretty far off the celebrity gossip radar over the first several months of his life.

On Sunday, however, Kimye had a few close friends over for a home-cooked feast dubbed “#SoulFoodSundays, and Kardashian documented the festivities with a number of Snapchat postings.

The first included a close-up of Kim and her son:

Another included a picture of Saint’s feet and those of another small human being, likely one of Kourtney Kardashian’s children.

“Cousin love,” Kardashian wrote as a caption to it.

Then there was actually footage of Kevin Hart at the event.

We didn’t even know he was friends with Kim and Kanye, but is anyone really surprised? Kevin Hart is everywhere.

“I didn’t know you had chicken over here!” Hart says in the video, explaining that he assumed the meal would consider of tuna casserole and caviar.

Instead, there was fried chicken, collard greens, biscuits and macaroni

That’s quite the spread, huh?!?

“For all the skeptics out there,” Kim said in a Snapchat video, addressing those who dont think she actually cooks.

And it’s true. We were skeptical.

We thought Kardashian and West gave their kitchen staff weekends off. Turns out, we were wrong.

Thanks for pointing that out to us, Kim.
