Zac Efron: Friends Fear Drug Relapse, Source Claims

Back in 2013, reports about Zac Efron’s addictions to alcohol, cocaine and prescription painkillers sparked serious concern among the young actor’s family, friends and fans.

Fortunately, Efron checked into rehab in 2014 and has spoken about the sober life in glowing terms on several occasions since.

Even so, fears that Efron would relapse have surfaced several times in the past two years.

According to Radar Online those closest to Efron are especially worried at the moment, due to some upheaval in the 28-year-old’s personal life.

Court documents indicate that Efron’s mother, Starla Baskett, filed from divorce from his father, David Efron, last month.

Efron’s relationship with his parents has always been tense, and TMZ even reported that Efron’s “controlling mother and father” were a factor in his descent into drug abuse.

Despite past difficulties, however, Zac is reportedly close with both Baskett and Efron, and insiders say there’s concern that the divorce drama could trigger a relapse.

“He seemed to have cleaned up his act but this could be devastating for him,” one insider tells Radar.

“Friends are very concerned he’ll fall off the wagon,” claims another insider, adding that Efron “been off drugs and into leading a healthy life” since his rehab stint.

To make matters worse, there are reports that Efron recently parted ways with longtime girlfriend Sami Miro.

Efron has yet to comment on either his parents’ divorce or the fears that he’ll relapse.

Fortunately, the actor has been keeping busy with three films set to come out in the next 12 months.

Here’s hoping he’s able to stay strong and stay sober during this difficult time.

4-Year Old Will Miss Obama SO Much, Wants Cuddles

President Barack Obama currently has a 50% approval rating across most national polls.

This is an impressive figure for a Commander-in-Chief nearly eight years into his administration.

It makes it apparent that many people out there will be sad when Obama leaves office in January.

But no one will be sadder than the little girl featured in the video below.

According to Facebook, her name is Abella.

And, according to yours truly, she recently had the most adorable, most heartbreaking reaction we"ve ever seen to a President nearing the end of his two-term tenure.

The following footage was shared online by Abella;s mother, who wrote as a caption to the hilarious video:

My daughter Abella overheard me listening to the Democratic Convention last night and she is pretty devastated that Barack Obama is leaving the White House…

Who isn"t?!

At least half the country may be, just based on the approval percentage cited above.

But that isn"t the point here, of course.

The point is that Abella"s mommy eventually asks if the child wants to write a letter to Obama in order to express her feelings.

But this only makes Abella even more distraught.

What might help? A movie and being cuddled, she says, causing the Internet to break out into a collective AWWWWW just as she gets these words out.

We don"t typically laugh at the emotional pain of a four-year old, but we think it"s acceptable to make an exception in this case, don"t you?

It"s also unclear whether Abella will truly miss Obama … or whether she just fears who may take his place.

Her mother seems not to be concerned, however.

Leah Messer Criticized For Negligent Parenting, Bad Grammar

Leah Messer is on vacation at the moment, but as she’s currently learning the hard way, there’s no vacation from social media drama.

As you can see, she took her daughters with her, so you’d think we’d get a brief reprieve from claims that Leah is a negligent mom.

But no, the concern-trolling is real when it comes to Leah, and the angry moms come out of the woodwork pretty much every time she posts.

The pic above drew jeers and condemnation from some of her Instragram followers not because of the content, but because of the time it was posted.

Leah captioned the pic:

“Before bed, I couldn’t help but share! #MyFamily #AAA #summer2016 I love them so much!!”

Seems innocent enough, but the pic was posted at about 1 am California time (Leah and her kids are in Garden Grove at the moment) and many fans interpreted the caption to mean that Leah and her daughters posed for the pic at that time.

Others harkened back to the time that Leah rushed her kids off to school without breakfast, and suggested that if she didn’t stay up so late, perhaps she wouldn’t find it so difficult to wake up in the morning.

Sigh. Wisely, Leah has chosen not to respond.

Sadly, sometimes even if you don’t feed the trolls, they still multiply.

Around the same time last night, Leah also posted the photo above, along with a caption reading:

“A bond that will never be broke! A mother & her daughters!”

Leah’s questionable grammar prompted replies such as:

“You’re an inspiration but please learn English… your bond will never be broken not broke.”

“Try ‘a bond that will never be BROKEN’ moron”

We won’t even bother to point out that both of those sentences contain grammatical or punctuation errors.

But we will say you really need to chill, Internet commenters of the world.

You’re making us defend Leah Messer, and that’s just not cool.
