The critics have spoken!

The winners for the Critics Choice Awards 2017 have been announced and La La Land continued to show us just how much people loved it by taking home some of the biggest awards. 

Over on the TV front, Westworld scored two awards, but what did this mean for Game of Thrones?

Jill Duggar: Did She Lie About Returning to Central America?!

When the Duggar family returned to television with Counting On, it was unclear if they would be able to find an audience.

Their first reality series was beloved by millions, but many of those fans turned their back on the family in response to the horrors of the Josh Duggar sex scandals.

The family’s new show has cobbled together decent enough ratings to remain on the air for three seasons, but it’s widely believed that many of the new viewers are “anti-fans” who “hate-watch” Counting On.

For the most part, we imagine that it’s all the same to the Duggars, so long as people are tuning in.

However, on several occasions, they’ve experienced the downside of their new anti-fan base:

These people are quick to pick up on and point out any and all deceptions or questionable behavior revealed on the series.

The latest has to do with Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard’s missionary work in Central America.

After ten months in El Salvador, Jill and Derick made a temporary return to Arkansas earlier this year, but they assured fans that they would be returning to Central America in due time.

Several months later, the couple is still in Arkansas and planning to spend the holidays at home with their families.

Which would be fine – were it not for the fact that they’re still collecting donations for their mission work.

Last week, Derick tweeted about being at the San Francisco airport on a layover en route to somewhere else.

The Facebook page Duggar Family News: Life is Not All Pickles and Hairspray pointed out that he doesn’t seem to be headed to Central America – and he seems to have no shortage of travel funds.

“The Dillards said they would be back in Central America by now. They lied,” wrote the page’s administrator.

“For some reason Derick flew to San Francisco on his way to somewhere else. I didn’t do great in geography but I’m pretty sure you don’t fly from Arkansas to San Francisco to get to Central America.”

The page added:

“He doesn’t think he needs to give his donors any information about how he spends their money. He’ll drop clues but he won’t come entirely clean.”

If the family issues any statement on this at all (big if), they’ll likely dismiss it as overly-concerned nit-picking from some obsessive fans.

But misappropriation of charitable donations is a huge deal, and while it may not prevent you from getting elected president, it cold signal the start of yet another Duggar scandal.

Tarek and Christina El Moussa: SEPARATED After Insane Gun Incident and Feared Suicide Attempt!

Tarek and Christina El Moussa of HGTV’s Flip or Flip fame could not come across any more perfect on their hit house flipping show.

Behind closed doors, however, their marriage – and possibly their mental health – needs serious renovations. Wait until you read this …

According to TMZ, the couple is currently separated following a terrifying incident involving guns and a feared suicide attempt in May.

Yes, really. And some of the details are even crazier.

Their ordeal started, at least publicly, at the couple’s home when deputies responded to “a call of a possibly suicidal male with a gun.”

That would be Tarek, and they had reason to worry.

Law enforcement sources say that it wasn’t just a routine police visit – a massive group descended upon their Orange County property.

We’re talking 11 deputies and a helicopter.

Witnesses told police that just before officials arrived, Tarek grabbed a gun from his safe, ran out the back door and fled down a hiking trail.

Shortly after that, Christina was seen running out of the house, crying and trembling for unknown reasons, but clearly shaken up badly.

Minutes later, the police helicopter spotted Tarek on the trail (in Orange County, Calif.) and deputies ordered him to drop his weapon.

Tarek immediately complied with the request.

He told deputes he had no intention of hurting himself, and had only left the residence to go “blow off some steam,” according to TMZ.

Why bring a gun with him, though?

Tarek told cops that being armed was a precaution in case a mountain lion or rattlesnake came at him in the Southern California hills.

In any event, deputies searched his house and ended up seizing five guns, including an AR-15. It appears all were lawfully registered.

El Moussa was never charged with a crime.

Still, clearly something is amiss on the home front, as Christina and Tarek confirm they are separated while they reevaluate their marriage.

They declined to discuss the incident other than to say it was an “unfortunate misunderstanding” that sent him storming out of the house.

They say they are committed to co-parenting.

“[We] will continue to work through this process civilly and cooperatively, and plan to continue our professional life together,” they said.

Fans who watch Flip or Flip likely know that Tarek, 35, and Christina, 33, are parents to daughter Taylor, 6, and son Brayden, 1.

On their show, the couple – licensed real estate agents – buys, renovates and resells often distressed Southern California real estate.

From the purchase process to renovations, staging and closing, they’ve made a living in a tough business – and won a huge following.

A big part of that can be attributed to their personal appeal; Tarek and Christina’s personal and professional rapport is hard not to appreciate.

Mariah"s World Season 1 Episode 2 Recap: Did Mariah Get Too Close To Bryan Tanaka?

Mariah Carey has it all. 

She has fame, children and a lifestyle that we can only dream of. At least that’s what she wanted viewers to think on Mariah’s World Season 1 Episode 2. 

The singing sensation also proved that she has a heart of gold. How so? Well, Mariah allowed her backup singer, Mary Ann Tatum to bring her 6-year-old son on tour. 

“We’re all single moms, and it’s great. The kids make it so much more fun.” With all of the reports of the diva behavior, this series is definitely showing Mariah in a different light. 

We also got to see some of the finer interactions between Mariah and Bryan Tanaka. Yeah, he’s the dude she’s currently seeing. In the scene, he visited Mariah backstage and it was pretty clear she was trying to get him drunk when she offered him a beer. 

Did she have feelings for him all this time, or are these scenes set up by producers? We’ll probably never know, but they’re great. 

Another key plot focused on Mariah’s “Good Side.” We’ve all heard about it before. It’s the side she will only ever allow herself to be photographed on. 

Speaking to her makeup artist, Mariah revealed that she found out about it when she was just 19-years-old on a photo shoot, but she did not reveal who told her about it. 

After being three hours late to the Glasgow opening night, Mariah became embroiled in a bitter feud between Anthony and Mary Ann. Mary Ann took aim at Anthony because he refused to get on the bus with her and the other backup singers. 

Mariah tried to be the keeper of the peace because she didn’t like friction on her tour. However, Anthony felt the need to answer Mariah back and she laid down the law in spectacular fashion. 

“Don’t be saucy on camy,” she barked. 

I’m going to assume that meant camera. LOL. 

Anthony had some words of his own for the camera, but he didn’t seem to address the fact that he was being an ass about the whole situation. 

“For some reason, Mariah and I are off tonight.… I felt like I didn’t connect with her, like I always connect with her.”

Yeah, okay then. 

After Anthony finally got his own way and got his own bus, he tried to hug Mary Ann, but she was not ready to make friends with him yet. 

“Get off me — I will hit you,” she scowled. 

Who would have thought Mariah’s World would have arguments like that? We’re genuinely intrigued and can’t wait to see how all of this plays out for the cast members. 

Funnily enough, Mariah is not the one causing all the drama.
