Johannah Duggar: Fans Express Concerns About 11-Year-Old Reality Star
The Duggars have been scrutinized and criticized many times throughout their years in the spotlight, sometimes for very good reason, and sometimes because those very good reasons have put the public on high alert for the slightest sign that something is amiss.
In the 19 months since news of the Josh Duggar sex scandals went public, the family’s every social media post has been dissected by skeptical followers in search of indications that Jim Bob and Michelle’s many, many children are still being mistreated.
The latest possible sign of trouble involves one of the couple’s lesser-talked-about kids – 11-year-old Johannah:
As you can see, Johannah appears to have suffered some sort of minor injury not long before this photo was taken.
The image was posted on Instagram by Johannah’s older sister Jill in celebration of her birthday back in October.
Jill made no mention of the sores on Johannah’s forehead in her caption, but many fans expressed concerns in the comments section.
The matter was mostly forgotten until last week, when a new photo of Johannah showed that the mysterious marks have not yet healed.
The above image was posted on the family’s official Facebook page, causing Duggar fans to speculated about the cause of the mysterious marks.
Comments included:
“Those red dots have been there for awhile so it’s not a bruise, acne, or stitches I’ve never seen anything like that.”
“Is Johannah ok? Anytime I see a picture of her lately, she has what appear to be injuries on her forehead.”
“Johanna had similar sores on her forehead in her birthday photos over two months ago. Time to see the doctor.”
Many have suggested that this another case of the Duggars ignoring a serious problem because they have more children than they’re able to properly care for.
It’s not the first time that the Duggars have been accused of neglect, and they’re handling the same way they have in the past – by completely ignoring it.
As the oldest of the Duggar girls who are still minors, perhaps it was inevitable that Johannah’s welfare would become a topic of interest to fans.
It’s possible that this is nothing more than en extreme overreaction to a very minor problem.
But it’s also possible that there’s legitimate cause to be concerned about Johannah.

On The Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 9 Episode 8, gossip about Kandi and Phaedra’s lunch date quickly spread through the group.
With potentially alarming, shocking results.
If you watch The Real Housewives of Atlanta online, you’ll see that things started off with a discussion about Cynthia Bailey and boobs.
Specifically, if she needs a new pair.
The doctor confirmed that her current fake boobs were A-O-K though, so that’s good … and more than can be said for a lot of things.
“She better stay nice or she’s gonna reap the wrath of Mama,” Mama Joyce said, referring to Phaedra Parks and her beef with Kandi.
Meanwhile, her daughter Riley revealed that her father, Block Spencer, had called her about going out for a meal and asked Kandi to join.
After some deliberation, she agreed.
While this was going on, Cynthia’s daughter, Noelle, met up with Peter Thomas for some hot yoga and to talk about the couple’s breakup.
“You’re like my second father figure and I thought it was at least worth a phone call,” she said, referring to him not reaching out to her.
“It just kind of hurt. It seems like nobody cares.”
Peter acknowledged his mistake and things seemed to go better after that, but the real drama of this episode was only about to begin.
Sheree Whitfield and Porsha Williams met up with Phaedra for lunch to discuss what everyone thought about the whole messy situation.
Porsha said some “new information” disturbed her.
According to Williams, Phaedra and Kandi had a discussion in private, the details of which Kandi shared after their relationship soured.
Sheree told Phaedra that Kandi told people that Phaedra wasn’t sad when Apollo Nida went to jail because she was with another man.
Yes, already. That’s the rumor going around, anyway.
Phaedra thought Kandi was being “malicious” and said that Shamea Morton made the accusation about Phaedra trying to steal her husband?
Why? Because Shamea and Kandi were so close.
Allegedly. Then she just casually happened to say that Kandi was sleeping with Shamea … yes, she said that and you read that correctly.
Porsha and Sheree then had lunch with Kandi to reiterate their beef that a malicious Kandi spread personal s–t about Phaedra.
“I just felt like it should have stayed in that space,” Porsha said, with Kandi responding that “she throws the rock and then she hides.”
Kandi then claimed Phaedra told Porsha about the man she was supposedly seeing before Apollo went to jail, but Porsha played dumb.
Later, that rumor mentioned a few minutes earlier popped up, as Sheree made a reference to something about Kandi being in a closet.
Porsha jumped right in on that, as if on cue, saying, “She was in somebody’s closet or still is in one! OK? That’s none of my business.”
Asking what we were all thinking at home, Sheree paused for a moment and asked the camera, “Did you just out Kandi for being a lesbian?”
