Well before her long-anticipated breakup with Matt Baier, Amber Portwood stunned fans by announcing a very unexpected business venture.
The prospect of an Amber Portwood sex tape came as a surprise to fans, particularly as Amber had spent years shading Farrah Abraham for her involvement in the adult film industry.
But Amber defended the decision in many of the same ways that Farrah did:
She claimed that in signing with Vivid Entertainment, she was thinking of her future and providing for her daughter.
She also insisted that she wouldn’t be sticking with porn in the long-term, but would do one film and one film only with her fiance as her only co-star.
When Amber called off her wedding, it was widely assumed that she would career as an adult actress would be over before it began.
Now, however, it looks as though Portwood might still be willing to follow in Farrah’s footsteps.
Asked if his deal with Amber is still on, Vivid CEO Steve Hirsch gave a cryptic response that gave many fans the impression that the Teen Mom star still has a future in porn.
“We are always open to doing a movie with Amber,” Hirsch replied, when asked if the contract is still valid.
It’s not a flat-out “yes,” but sources say Hirsch is optimistic that his company will be working with Amber in the very near future.
So who will star with Portwood now that her relationship with now that her relationship with Baier is over?
Well, it appears Amber may not have definitively ended things with her troubled fiance.
“Amber and Matt aren’t officially broken up,” a source recently told Radar Online.
Yes, it looks as though Amber’s sex tape co-star will be none other than the deadbeat dad she supposedly kicked to the curb last month.
It’s a risky move, as Baier was the opposite of a fan favorite, and many Teen Mom viewers who may have been interested in an Amber sex tape will likely lose interest upon learning that Matt is involved.
Disappointing news to be sure, but we can’t blame Amber for going forward.
After all, she was born with a perfect porn name, and it would be absurd not to put it to use.
