Veronica Mars Revival: It"s Happening, Marshmallows!
Kristen Bell currently stars on The Good Place.
And it may be the best show on network television.
But the beloved actress is about to head back to a wonderful place, a place where she truly became a popular household name.
That place is the city of Neptune, California.
Following a few weeks of rumors that seemed too amazing to be true, Hulu has now confirmed that Veronica Mars really is returning to the air.
The former UPN/The CW drama will air eight brand new episodes on this streaming service in 2019.
Series creator Rob Thomas will write the first episode of the revival and serve as an executive producer; while Bell, of course, will reprise her title role in the series.
At this point, we need to stop with the official background information and quickly add:
EEEEK! YES! WE CAN’T BELIEVE THIS IS REALLY HAPPENING!!!!!!
Veronica Mars ran for three seasons and was canceled way back in 2007.
The series starred Bell as a high school student who suffered a major personal trauma and then worked alongside her father (or often in defiance of her father) as a private investigator, uncovering various crimes and secrets in her posh home town.
The show had such a rabid fan base that a Veronica Mars movie was released in 2014.
Along with this incredible revival news, we can confirm the following:
– All past episodes of the original Veronica Mars will also be headed to Hulu. Fans can stream seasons 1-3 (as well as the 2014 fan-funded feature film) starting in summer 2019.
– A synopsis for the return in general has been released!
This is the Hulu logline for the right installments on tap:
Spring breakers are getting murdered in Neptune, thereby decimating the seaside town’s lifeblood tourist industry.
After Mars Investigations is hired by the parents of one of the victims to find their son’s killer, Veronica is drawn into an epic eight-episode mystery that pits the enclave’s wealthy elites, who would rather put an end to the month-long bacchanalia, against a working class that relies on the cash influx that comes with being the West Coast’s answer to Daytona Beach.
It’s unclear right now who else from the original cast will be returning.
But Bell is pretty stoked about everything, writing today on Instagram in response to the news:
Attention all Marshmallows: BREAKING NEWS!!!!! We are OFFICIALLY back in business!!! A new #veronicamars series is coming back, on @hulu !!!! Veronica has always been a super hero without a Cape. And I think shes exactly what the world needs right now.
Thank you to all my fellow marshmallows who stayed excited. Thank you to @hulu for the opportunity. I hope we’re still friends after I taser I you.
Revivals and returns are all the TV rage these days, of course.
CBS is somehow bringing back both Murphy Brown and Magnum P.I. this fall, while Roseanne was a giant hit for ABC last television season and Last Man Standing will return to the smalll screen later ths year.
But whatever. Who cares about those?

The Hills Reboot: It"s Really Happening! Watch the Teaser!
Are you ready for a new beginning
MTV surely is.
And the network is hoping viewers feel the same way.
On Sunday night, not long after Spencer Pratt and company came together on the red carpet of the MTV Video Music Awards for a reunion photo, MTV made the announcement many had been waiting to hear for months:
THE HILLS IS COMING BACK!
As you can see above, Spencer and Heidi Pratt, Audrina Patridge, Jason Wahler, Justin Bobby, Stephanie Pratt and Frankie Delgado all showed up for the annual awards ceremony, causing some fans to think this mere red carpet gathering would be the only reunion they"d see for awhile.
But they were sorely (and awesomely?) mistaken.
Midway through the VMAs, MTV ran the promo featured here.
It teased a revival of the former reality series that will apparently be titled The Hills: New Beginnings.
And why not, we guess, right?!?
Last Man Standing is coming back this fall. So is Murphy Brown.
Netflix has found success with Fuller House and MTV itself has found enormous success with Jersey Shore: Family Vacation.
According to a network press release, this new version of The Hill will reunite original cast members, alongside their kids, friends and returning favorites, while following their personal and professional lives while living in Los Angeles.
It is scheduled to premiere in 2019.
In the first preview for the program, footage of Los Angeles plays as Stephanie is heard saying, “It’s like we’re all growing up. It’s weird.”
That"s not really weird. That"s sort of just how life works.
But Heidi and Spencer have a son now and that is really weird!
Only one question now remains: Will Lauren Conrad appear on the reboot?
It doesn"t sound that way.
"I don’t think I would do another show that involved my family,” Conrad told HuffPost earlier this year, adding:
“I spent a lot of years on a show focused on my personal life, so I don’t think I’d do it again."
Oh well. We"re still all in on a The Hills reboot. How about you?!?

Lindsay Lohan Reality Show is a Thing That"s Happening
Pack your bags, television viewers.
We"re about to head to Greece…
… with Lindsay Lohan!
MTV has announced that it is partnering with the former singer/actress/total and complete trainwreck on an upcoming reality show tentatively titled "Lohan Beach Club."
The series began shooting this week in Mykonos, where Lohan has settled in and reportedly made a very calm and drama-free life for herself.
Lohan said as much in a recent interview that aimed to paint her as just a nice and normal girl next door.
"My past has to stay in the past," Lohan told The New York Times this summer, emphasizing that she"s a "good person" and people need to "let go" of the mistakes she made during her dark period.
These mistakes, of course, included multiple arrests for drunk driving, numerous public meltdowns and that one really weird poem to ISIS.
That was then, however.
Now?
The new series, which will debut in early 2019, will chronicle Lohan as "she works to expand her business empire with the launch of Lohan Beach House," per a MTV press release.
It continues:
The exclusive seaside destination will serve as a backdrop for the series, and features luxury spa amenities, a renowned restaurant and a transformative day and nightclub poised to redefine the Mykonos experience.
The debut of Lohan Beach House marks the star’s third business venture in the Greek Islands, following the opening of Lohan Nightclub in Athens, Greece and Lohan Beach House Rhodes in Rhodes, Greece.
“Lohan Beach Club offers viewers VIP access to one of the most exclusive destinations in the world, and a behind the scenes look at how a young, successful entrepreneur runs her empire,” said Nina Diaz, President, Programming and Development for MTV, adding:
“We are thrilled to have such a passionate and creative partner in Lindsay to help explore this intriguing culture, all through the eyes of her brand.”
Over the course of the show, Lindsay will lead a team of handpicked brand ambassadors to make her mark on what many folks consider to be the vacation capital of the planet.
These team members will be asked to prove their expertise, ambition and charm while helping bring Lohan’s vision to life.
Sounds… intriguing? We guess.
MTV, of course, has found incredible succes in dredging up the past of late, as Jersey Shore: Family Vacation earned huge ratings in the spring of 2018, while Kristin Cavallari is even back with her very own program.
So why not Lohan, right?

Ariana Grande & Pete Davidson: Wedding Happening MUCH Sooner Than Expected?!
As you’ve likely heard by now, Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson are engaged, and they really, really enjoy telling the world just how in love they are.
But for all their gushing about the loveliness of love, the couple has been silent about certain key details of their relationship.
For one, they refuse to reveal exactly when they began dating, which has prompted rumors that Pete and Ariana cheated on their exes with one another.
The other big secret they’re keeping from fans is how soon they’re planning to tie the knot.
We know that the preparations are already underway, and it was previously reported that the couple is planning to exchange vows before Pete heads back to work at SNL in September.
Now, it seems these two are planning to make it legal even sooner than expected.
Fans believe that Grande and Davidson will get married in two weeks, on August 4, due to the numerical significance of the date.
(The FDNY badge number of Pete’s late father began with the digits and eight and four. Both Pete and Ari have tattoos of the number.)
Now, the above photo of Ari is being interpreted as yet another sign that there’s a wedding just around the corner.
Ari recently posted the pic below in order to show off her new hair color.
Fans think the lavender shade is part of the color scheme for her wedding ceremony.
It’s a bit of a stretch, but nothing this couple does surprises us anymore.
The theory conflicts with another recent rumor about Ari and Pete, this one claiming that they’re on the verge of calling it quits for all the reasons that everyone assumed they would call it quits:
“Ariana didn’t know who Pete really was and fell in love with the idea of being in love,” says one insider.
“Her friends and family, as well as her team, are already starting to see this relationship fall apart.”
Pete’s joke about the Manchester bombing that remains a fresh source of trauma for Ariana reportedly caused the singer to engage in some serious self-reflection.
“Ariana wants the fairytale so bad, but Pete has already started to take a toll on her image, and she’s tired of constantly having to stick up for him,”
Further complicating the matter is the issue of Pete’s sobriety … or lack thereof.
Just months after checking into rehab for substance abuse issues, Davidson is proudly off the wagon, and many within Ari’s inner circle see that as a major red flag.
For one thing, Ari cited the rapper’s addiction troubles as one of the major reasons she decided to end her relationship with Mac Miller.
Her brother, Frankie, who recently celebrated one year of sobriety, has reportedly made it clear that he does not approve of the relationship and believes that Pete needs to sober up before he can be the sort of husband Ari deserves.
Sounds like a complicated situation — no wonder these two have (allegedly) decided to just elope.

Catelynn Lowell-Tyler Baltierra Divorce: Is It Really Happening?!
Last week, Teen Mom OG fans were stunned by news that Catelynn Lowell and Tyler Baltierra were divorcing after three years of marriage and nearly 13 years as a couple.
More shocking than the rumor itself, however, was the fact that it seemed to be rooted in reality.
Catelynn changed her name from Baltierra back to Lowell on Instagram, and fans were able to confirm that the couple spent Mother"s Day weekend in separate states.
All of this came on the heels of a difficult year for the Baltierras that saw Catelynn suffering a miscarriage and both parties battling mental illness.
Did it all get to be too much for one of the Teen Mom franchise"s most beloved couples?
Here"s what we know so far:
1. Happier Times
Just a few weeks ago, Catelynn and Tyler were happily posing for photos together and commenting on one another’s social media posts. But some fans are convinced their relationship has deteriorated very rapidly…
2. Signs of Trouble
The most recent signs that Tyler and Catelynn might be in the midst of a rough patch came over the weekend. Fans picked up on two red flags that may indicate trouble in paradise.
3. A Subtle Message?
Catelynn recently changed her display name on Instagram to “Catelynn Lowell.” At one point, she also unfollowed Tyler on the site.
4. Trying Times
Reports of the dissolution of Catelynn and Tyler’s marriage come at the end of a year that would have put even the strongest of relationships to the test.
5. A Tragic Setback
Catelynn suffered a miscarriage just as she and Tyler’s excitement about welcoming a new child had reached a fever pitch. The loss took a tremendous emotional toll on both Baltierras.
6. Catelynn’s Struggles
In the months that followed, Catelynn checked into rehab twice to be treated for PTSD and other emotional issues. Tyler stood by her side, but Catelynn’s extended absences had an obvious impact on their marriage.

The Condom Challenge is Something That"s Actually Happening
We have good news, readers:
Teens across the country are using condoms more than ever before.
But we also have some bad news:
These teens are not necessarily using the condoms for safe sex.
Instead of wrapping the condom around their penis or their partner"s penis, these people are sucking the prophylactics through their noses and then taking them out of their mouths.
No, really.
We"re not kidding:
Just like past idiotic trends such as the Tide Pods challenge, something called the "Condom Snorting Challenge" is sadly sweeping the nation.
Videos of teens doing taking this ridiculous action have been on the Internet for years, but there"s been a new proliferation in recent days.
Needless to say, although we will anyway, condoms can be a choking hazard; they can also cause appendicitis if swallowed.
Moreover, they can cause an allergic reaction… and it’s even possible that nasal passages and/or sinuses could get infected because nothing but air is supposed to pass through them.
They really are not meant to be a corridor for condoms is the point here.
Does this look remotely enjoyable?
Or comfortable?
Or worth doing just so you can gain a few new followers on social media?
We guess the answers have to be yes, for some people out there at least.
For others, it"s simply enjoyable to sit back and make fun of these individuals.

On the Run Tour 2: It"s Happening. This is Where It"s Going!

Jana Duggar-Caleb Williams Courtship: It"s Really Happening!
Last month, reports of Jana Duggar being courted by multiple suitors began to circulate on social media.
One of the men, Jacob Wilson, was quick to rebuke the report, but interestingly, the other rumored love interest has yet to expressly deny that he and Jana are courting.
That man is named Caleb Williams, and Duggar fans have become intensely interested in his life and social media profiles in recent weeks.
Some Duggar obsessives have surmised that Caleb is a “rebel,” who will no doubt have a difficult time convincing Jana’s father, Jim Bob Duggar, that he’s son-in-law material.
Of course, that characterization seems to be based primarily on a handful of comments made by a friend of Caleb’s, who stated that he believes the Arkansas-based small business owner is more “liberal” than the Duggars.
(As fans of the family know, falling to the left of the Duggars on the political spectrum is not exactly a difficult task. Steve Bannon is basically an unkempt hippie compared to Jim Bob.)
But based on his most recent social media posts, we think it’s safe to say Caleb has had no trouble ingratiating himself with Jana’s ultra-conservative family:

“Thanks for the invite y’all! #gametime #wrongcolors #wps #beatauburn,” Williams captioned the pic.
(Sadly, he failed to give a shoutout to the dude photobombing in the back.)
Yes, the caption seems to indicate that Jim Bob was the one to invite Caleb to the game, which many have taken as a sign that the two enjoy some sort of special connection these days.
After all, with 19 kids and an endless list of well-wishers, it’s not like Jim Bob has trouble finding someone to attend a football game with him.
But as much as Duggar fans have scrutinized the photo above, it’s a post on Caleb’s page has garnered even more attention:
That’s Caleb holding Josh Duggar’s infant son, Mason.
“First time holding sweet baby Mason! Thanks for letting me hold him @joshduggar @annaduggar @duggarfam #BabyMason,” Caleb captioned the image.
Yes, Caleb tagged Josh Duggar (who apparently has an Instagram page), and he’s been spending time with the black sheep branch of the Duggar clan.
Josh mostly lives the reclusive Boo Radley life these days, so the fact that Caleb has been spending time with him is an indication that he’s truly been granted access to the family’s inner sanctum.
Perhaps there’s something to these courtship rumors, after all.

Kylie Jenner Wedding Update: Is It Really Happening?!
As you’ve no doubt heard by now, Kylie Jenner is pregnant with her first child.
Kylie got knocked up by presumably soon-to-be retired rapper Travis Scott.
(Fact: You don’t have to work after you get a Kardashian pregnant. Time to hang up the Nikes, Tristan!)
Come to think of it, that’s not necessarily true.
It’s not enough just to get a member of the Kard clan pregnant, as Scott Disick learned the hard way.
You have to lock that relationship down in order to live off that sweet Kim sex tape money for the rest of your days.
That means marriage, and though a wedding is probably next on Travis Scott’s agenda, it may be a long way off.
Rumors about Kylie and Travis being engaged start circulating long before we knew she was pregnant.
In fact, there are some who have claimed that Kylie and Travis are secretly married.
But it seems the reports of Kylie getting hitched have been greatly exaggerated.
In fact, it sounds like she’s not even certain that she and Travis will continue dating.
And when you look at the facts of her pregnancy, that’s not terribly surprising.
So far, we know that Kylie is expecting a girl, and she’s about five months along.
Since she and Travis started dating in April, that means they were only together a few weeks before she found out she was expecting.
So it’s safe to assume that the pregnancy wasn’t planned.
And it’s equally safe to assume that Travis and Kylie won’t be sprinting down the aisle anytime soon.
“They’re still trying to figure out their relationship,” a source close to the couple tells TMZ.
The insider adds that Kylie has no qualms about being a single mom.
Her oldest sister is an unwed mother of three; Kim Kardashian had her first child before she married Kanye West; and now Khloe Kardashian is pregnant with Tristan Thompson’s baby, and there are no wedding plans there either.
So it sounds like Travis may have to continue working after all.
On the bright side, we’re guessing his music has enjoyed quite a sales bump over the past week.

Prince Harry-Meghan Markle Engagement: Actually Happening, Source Says
We know, we know – you’ve heard this one before.
Pretty much from the time the world first learned that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are dating, there have been rumors that a wedding is just around the corner.
At this point, it seems Harry has not yet proposed, but those closest to the couple say they expect him to pop the question any day now.
A royal source tells E! News that even Harry’s staff has been informed that an engagement will likely be announced in the months to come.
“It’s, of course, very serious and both Harry and Meghan are focused on the future,” the insider says.
“Engagement talk isn’t just between the two of them, even some of Harry’s closest aides are quietly expecting news before the end of the year.”
Of course, it may be along time before the couple announces that Harry has put a ring on it.
“She’s hoping that if this is something that happens they can keep the news private for a while before having to go public,”
But it’s looking more and more as though keeping the engagement a secret will be a virtual impossibility.
Already, Harry’s friends are being asked about the wedding, and the way some have talked about it, it seems as though it’s of when, not if.
“I don’t think I’m worried about the wedding. I’m worried about the after party,” said longtime pal Kirstie Ennis in a recent interview.
Asked specifically if Harry and Meghan are already engaged, Ennis declined to comment, further fueling rumors that a wedding will be taking place sooner, rather than later.
There have been reports in recent weeks that Harry and Meghan are having relationship problems, but that’s pretty much the norm with longtime celebrity couples.
There have also been rumors that Harry and Meghan plan to elope, but those also appear to be bogus.
The way it looks now, a Harkle wedding will be happing sometime in the next 18 months, and it’ll be a tradtional, lavish affair.
Many thought it would never happen, but it seems as though Harry is finally looking to settle down for good.

Jersey Shore Revival Series: Actually Happening?
Once upon a time, MTV’s Jersey Shore was garnering higher ratings than some of the biggest shows on broadcast TV.
Nowadays, the network rarely charts in the ratings and is returning to old formats in an attempt to bring the network back to its former ratings glory.
With the return of Fear Factor being a moderate success, it looks like the network is ready to bring back Jersey Shore from the grave, and we’re not quite sure how the heck it would work.
Still, would we really say no to a return trip to the Jersey Shore? Um, no.
Jenni ‘Jwoww’ Farley has revealed she is in active negotiations with producer SallyAnn Salsano about ways in which the series could return for another season of drama.
“I’ve actually been texting the creator of Jersey Shore,” she revealed to E! News.
The 31-year-old said she’s said to the creator, “How do we make this happen? But I need to be in bed by 9 p.m. I have to take my family and don’t let me get white-girl wasted so I can’t find where my family is. So if you can help me out with those, I’d be down.”
If you watch Jersey Shore online, you will likely remember how boring Jersey Shore became when the stars began growing out of their partying ways.
Snooki was even moved to another house while she was pregnant with her first child. If the stars are going to be reserved this time around, is it really worth bringing it back?
With regards to commitments, Jenni thinks it would be best to film for around ten days on an island somewhere as opposed to a huge season.
The possibility of a reunion does seem relatively high when you consider the dire straits over at MTV. Heck, maybe this reunion will pave the way for a new iteration of the series with a new cast.
It seems like Snooki also has the reunion bug since she posted a picture of herself posing with former female costars, Jwoww, Sammy Giancola and Deena Nicole Cortese.
The rest of the cast even revealed to In Touch recently that they would be game for a reunion, so something tells us this is something that will be happening in the very near future.
Obviously, the new series would not include any of the crazy antics of the original series, but it could be interesting to get the details on what they’ve all been up to since the show concluded in 2012.
We would pay to watch the show if it included the return of Angelina Pivarnick. That would guarantee at least a bunch of fights.

Amber Portwood Sex Tape: It"s Still Happening!
Well before her long-anticipated breakup with Matt Baier, Amber Portwood stunned fans by announcing a very unexpected business venture.
The prospect of an Amber Portwood sex tape came as a surprise to fans, particularly as Amber had spent years shading Farrah Abraham for her involvement in the adult film industry.
But Amber defended the decision in many of the same ways that Farrah did:
She claimed that in signing with Vivid Entertainment, she was thinking of her future and providing for her daughter.
She also insisted that she wouldn’t be sticking with porn in the long-term, but would do one film and one film only with her fiance as her only co-star.
When Amber called off her wedding, it was widely assumed that she would career as an adult actress would be over before it began.
Now, however, it looks as though Portwood might still be willing to follow in Farrah’s footsteps.
Asked if his deal with Amber is still on, Vivid CEO Steve Hirsch gave a cryptic response that gave many fans the impression that the Teen Mom star still has a future in porn.
“We are always open to doing a movie with Amber,” Hirsch replied, when asked if the contract is still valid.
It’s not a flat-out “yes,” but sources say Hirsch is optimistic that his company will be working with Amber in the very near future.
So who will star with Portwood now that her relationship with now that her relationship with Baier is over?
Well, it appears Amber may not have definitively ended things with her troubled fiance.
“Amber and Matt aren’t officially broken up,” a source recently told Radar Online.
Yes, it looks as though Amber’s sex tape co-star will be none other than the deadbeat dad she supposedly kicked to the curb last month.
It’s a risky move, as Baier was the opposite of a fan favorite, and many Teen Mom viewers who may have been interested in an Amber sex tape will likely lose interest upon learning that Matt is involved.
Disappointing news to be sure, but we can’t blame Amber for going forward.
After all, she was born with a perfect porn name, and it would be absurd not to put it to use.

"Kim Kardashian"s butt is disappearing!" might sound like a weird concern to have, but it"s kind of true.

Kim Kardashian, as expected, made $ 14.4 million yesterday as her contour and highlighting kits sold out.
And while making more money than most humans will see in their lifetimes is a big enough deal.
(As is the fact that she seems to be muscling in on Kylie Jenner"s makeup business in the process, despite denials)
People couldn"t help but notice, however, that Kim"s butt … isn"t quite what it used to be.
Remember this?
Yeah, that image is burned forever into our minds.
It haunts our dreams.
It whispers forbidden secrets in our ears.
But what was notable about Kim"s butt at the KKW Beauty launch was that it"s looking a lot less substantial these days.
Like, Kim"s been complaining that people are ruining her butt photos.
But she"s also been exercising her butt off.
… Literally.
This recent photo, plugging one of those weight loss teas that basically just make you need to use the bathroom a lot, really highlights how dramatic her weight loss has been.
Her butt isn"t small anymore, but it"s not making waves like it used to.
While Kylie gets ever-curvier and even Kendall Jenner seems to want to have a bigger butt, Kim"s been working hard to get smaller after her two pregnancies.
And her butt and boobs don"t exist in a vacuum — they"re shrinking with the rest of her.
Though admittedly not as quickly.
We"re reminded of when Amy Schumer tastelessly lamented Khloe Kardashian"s weight loss.
(That"s just another kind of body-shaming, folks)
You can talk about somebody"s weight loss all that you like.
But you don"t get to act like it"s a betrayal.
Kim"s weight loss might "betray" her brand — if it goes much further than this.
But it isn"t a stab in the back to other women with big-time badonkadonks, or to women who haven"t lost weight since giving birth.
It"s not even a "betrayal" of her husband.
Kim"s body doesn"t exist to please Kanye or anybody else, because she"s a real person (no matter what work she may have had done).
She can make her meat prison as large or small as she likes.
But here"s the video — or series of videos, really — showing Kim.
She looks great and she still looks curvy, sure … but you can really see that her curves are less extreme than they used to be.
That"s sort of one of the advantages of being rich.
You can afford to spend more time at the gym.
And a personal trainer who fits your schedule, no matter what it may be.
And to have healthy meals geared towards weight loss, cooked for you.
People on budgets don"t have that option, so a lot of women struggle with weight loss after giving birth.
A lot of people struggle with weight loss, period.
But as you can see, Kim"s not struggling at all.
She"s been as successful at weight loss as she is at selling makeup, apparently.
It"s just that one might say that there"s a little less of her to love these days.
