Man Dressed As Freddy Krueger Shoots 5 in San Antonio
Police say a man dressed as the iconic horror movie villain Freddy Krueger opened fire on a crowd of people at a Halloween party in San Antonio.
The incident reportedly occurred just after 5 am on Sunday night.
An unnamed host of the party says there assailants, both of whom he did not recognize,
He adds that they became involved in an altercation with a group of his friends, and things quickly escalated.
The two men withdrew weapons and fired on a crowd, wounding at least five.
Fortunately, no one was fatally wounded.
The host says that the early stages of the fight were recorded on the phones of several partiers.
Much of that footage was uploaded to social media, which allowed police to identify that there were two shooters incolved, instead of one, as had previously been reported.
One witness, a woman named Jasmine Hoyos, says there were more than 100 people at the party, and it’s a wonder that more weren’t struck by the spray of bullets.
Hoyos adds that she assisted a man who was shot in the arm as he waited for ambulances to arrive.
One injured woman who tried to drive herself to the hospitl crashed her car along the way.
“I kind of applied pressure to the wound to make sure he didn’t bleed out,” Hoyos tells reporters.
“A couple of his friends were there with us. So, we were trying to keep him calm,”
At this point, no arrests have been made, and the shooters remain at large.
Neighbors say they’re upset by the incident and believe it does not provide an accurate reflection of their neighborhood, or the city of San Antonio:
“I’m kind of sad that this happened in this neighborhood because I like living here,” says Jeremy Collins.
“It’s a really good neighborhood. It is what it is, and we’re just going to keep an eye out and try to keep each other’s back.”
Police are asking for anyone who may have information with regard to the shooters’ identity or whereabouts to assist with the investigation.

Antonio Armstrong, Former NFL Linebacker, Killed by Son
An unspeakable tragedy has struck the world of professional sports.
Antonio Armstrong, a former linebacker for the Miami Dolphins was shot and killed along with his wife in Houston, Texas.
Police have confirmed that the main suspect in the crime is the couple’s 16-year old son.
The young man’s name has not been released to the public due to his age, he has been charged with murder as a juvenile and is being questioned by authorities.
According to a local NBC affiliate, the 42-year old Armstrong and his wife, Dawn, were found at approximately 2 a.m. after police responded to a 911 call.
Dawn was pronounced dead at the scene of the crime.
The ex-NFL player was transported to Memorial Hermann Hospital and listed in critical condition… but later passed away from a gunshot wound to the head.
The couple’s two other kids were at home at the time of the incident, but were unharmed.
Those familiar with the family are attempting to come to grips with how this could have happened.
“This was an outstanding family. The male of the family was an absolute hard-working breadwinner,” local homicide lnvestigator Jimmy Dodson said, via KPRC.
“He was an associate pastor in the area church. He’s a great guy. The mother was apparently a great mother, according to family members.
“Like I said, it was kind of the all-American family.”
Investigators who searched the southwest Houston residence discovered a still-smoking gun with a note next to it that reads “I’ve been watching you.”
Police then arrested the 16-year-old boy.
“There was nothing left out. There was no neglect or anything. There was nothing that even could possibly have justified this situation,” Dawn Armstrong’s cousin, Vaun Lee, told reporters.
“This doesn’t even make sense. It makes no sense.”
Prior to turning professional, Armstrong was a college football star at Texas A&M, where he played for the Aggies from 1991 to 1994.
The university released the following message on Twitter soon after the horrible news broke:
Armstrong was named first-team Associated Press All-America linebacker in 1994 and was drafted in the sixth round of the 1995 NFL Draft by the San Francisco 49ers.
He was released that October after suffering an ankle injury and signed with the Dolphins, with whom he recorded four solo tackles his room season.
“Antonio was a special young man. He was an All-American and an outstanding player, but he was an even better person,” his former head coach at A&M, R.C. Slocum, said in a statement.
“He was such a positive influence on his teammates. He always had a great big smile and was a joy to coach.”
The Dolphins said via statement that they were “saddened by the tragic” deaths, adding:
“Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends during this difficult time.”
A GoFundMe page, meanwhile, has been created to help the family in the aftermath of the shooting; thus far, it has raised over $ 53,000.
“Let’s rally around this family and show them how much we loved Dawn and Antonio, and that we will miss them and their big hearts dearly,” the page reads.

Scott Baio and Antonio Sabato Jr. both spoke at day one of the RNC in Cleveland, and each one left his own special mark. Sabato, who emigrated to the states from Rome in 1985, called into question President Obama"s religion.
"We had a Muslim president for 7 1/2 years," Sabato told the audience. "I don"t believe he is [a Christian]."
Sabato also declared that both the military and law enforcement officials don"t like the president.
What"s more? Mr. President is totally a baddie!
"I believe that he"s on the other side … the Middle East," the former Melrose Place star told ABC News. "He"s with the bad guys."
Meanwhile, Baio had to relive a few tweets he probably wishes he had deleted as he was grilled by NBC"s Tamron Hall outside the Quicken Loans Arena.
Baio reportedly wrote his speech at Sunday church service prior to the convention, so Hall wanted to know if he was feeling like a good Christian when he tweeted a meme of Hillary Clinton in front of the words "COUNT:"
“Did you think about that in church when you tweeted it out?” Hall asked.
“That was just offered up without commentary,” Baio said defensively.
”You can look at it anyway you want. It’s the word ‘count,’ she’s standing in front of it, I just put it up there.
There’s no commentary attached to it, I didn’t call her anything, and the fact that you question my faith over posting a picture is not nice.”
Hall was neither intimidated nor amused by Baio"s response, and continued to grill him on national television.
After calling him out for blocking her on the social media platform, Hall pulled up a tweet from 2010, featuring an unflattering image of First Lady Michelle Obama with the caption, "“WOW! He wakes up to this every morning.”
“That tweet was a joke,” Baio said.
“I’m a guy from Brooklyn, I have a certain sense of humor.
Bitch please, Hall thought to herself before asking, “But does joking about a woman that way make America great again?”

Mykelti Brown: Sister Wives Star ENGAGED to Antonio Padron!
Sister Wives star Mykelti Brown shared some exciting news: she’s engaged!
And from what we gather, there will be no other wives.
Mykelti, daughter of polygamist Kody Brown and sister wife Christine, announced she is set to tie the knot with her boyfriend of nine months, Antonio “Tony” Padron.
“Tony completes me in every way,” the bride-to-be tells Us Weekly. “He is an incredible man and together, I believe we are perfect.”
“I feel as if I’ve completed a puzzle with her and added superglue to keep it together forever!” added the future groom.
Padron says he asked for Kody’s permission before popping the question, and admits he was nervous.
“Kody is a man of large stature,” Padron, who works in banking, explained.
But after spending time with the family over the months, he worked up the courage and says his future father-in-law was “overjoyed.”
However, mom Christine wasn’t sold so quickly.
“I didn’t know they were that serious. I thought that this was her play time,” the mom of six says in a Sister Wives clip shared with Us.
Yesterday, we shared a report that Christine and her three fellow sister wives were walking out on Kody, because who the hell wouldn’t?
Then again, we couldn’t figure out why they’d be there in the first place. Brainwashing? Low self-esteem? Oxycodon?
Perhaps Christine just wants to make sure her 20-year-old daughter is making the right choice.
Padron proposed during a hike in their homeland of Utah, and he pulled out the ring at a rest spot near a waterfall.
“Tony got down on one knee and recited a poem he had written for me while opening a ring box,” Mykelti reveals. “It was such a beautiful ring. I said ‘yes’ with all my heart and I meant it!”
Mykelti is following in the footsteps of her half-sister Maddie Brown, who earlier this month married Caleb Brush.

Eva Longoria and Jose Antonio Baston are now married!
The couple exchanged vows during a garden wedding in the lake town of Valle de Bravo, Mexico.
Longoria wore a white gown designed by BFF Victoria Beckham, who was in attendance with her husband David Beckham.
The star-studded guest list also included Mario Lopez, Melanie Griffith and Ricky Martin.
Longoria and Baston, who is the president of Latin-American media company Televisa, announced their engagement last December.
The couple have been dating since 2013.

Eva Longoria; Engaged to Jose Antonio Baston!
Eva Longoria is ready to take another walk down the aisle.
The actress revealed on Instagram over the weekend that she has accepted the marriage proposal of Jose Antonio Baston, sharing the news via a very romantic photo.
It features the couple – who are in Dubai on behalf of the Global Gift Foundation – swapping passionate spit, just a short while (we presume) after Baston popped the big question.
Longoria’s stunning engagement ring is on full display in the image.
“Ummmm so this happened,” Longoria captioned the sweet snapshot, adding the hashtags “Engaged,” “Dubai,” and “Happiness.”
Longoria and Baston made their public debut as a couple in November 2013, at the Museo Jumex Opening dinner in Mexico City.
The latter is the president of Televisa, Latin America’s largest media company, and the world’s largest Spanish-speaking media conglomerate.
Longoria, of course, was married to NBA point guard Tony Parker for three years until he allegedly cheated on her for reasons that defy comprehension.
The actress filed for divorce in 2010.
She has since been linked romantically to Ernesto Arguello, but it took Jose Antonio Baston to truly win over her heart for the second time.
