Austin Rivers Says He"d Boycott Trump White House

L.A. Clippers star Austin Rivers was straight and to the point when we asked if he’d go to the White House to visit President Trump if he won the NBA championship.  “NOPE.” It’s a question everyone’s been asking the Golden State Warriors after…

Joy-Anna Duggar: Will Austin Forsyth Allow Her to Wear Pants?

It’s been two weeks since Joy-Anna Duggar and Austin Forsyth got married, and naturally, fans are already filled with follow-up questions.

Where are they honeymooning? Is married life everything they thought it would be? And of course …

Is Joy gonna start wearing pants?

Yes, believe it or not, clothing with two leg-holes is an issue that’s very much on the mind of many Duggar obsessives these days.

It all started when photos of Jinger Duggar wearing pants began to circulate online.

Things got even crazier when images of Jinger wearing shorts were posted to Instagram.

And why the hell would anyone care about a grown woman sporting a very commonplace article of clothing?

Well, if you watch Counting On online, you know that Duggar women are required to wear skirts, for reasons that make sense only to the voices in Jim Bob’s head.

When Jinger got married, we learned that she and her sisters live under a power structure of Game of Thrones-ian complexity, and that once they’re married, Jim Bob surrenders control of their lives and their husbands take the reins.

Jinger’s dude, Jeremy Vuolo, doesn’t require floor-length denim skirts in his household, so Jinger was given a pants pass.

Sadly, it looks like former tomboy Joy-Anna won’t be quite so lucky.

Despite expressing strong anti-dress views in the past (“I was not born to wear dresses. I was born to wear my own style,” she said in an episode of Counting On), it looks like Joy is doomed to spend the rest of her days be-skirted:

“I said before that I don’t like dresses, but Austin likes them on me, and so I’m branching out and I’m wearing some dresses now,” she recently told Counting On cameras.

“I don’t really have fashion. I just kind of wear whatever Austin likes. Before, I just wore whatever was in the closet. I’m trying to improve that.”

Joy … fashion isn’t a thing you possess; it’s a thing that possesses you!

No, but seriously, it’s a bummer that for the rest of her freakin’ life Joy can’t dress the way she prefers because that just doesn’t suit her husband’s aesthetic.

Lighten up, Austin!

In all likelihood, you’ll never have to work again thanks to Joy’s reality TV earnings.

The least you can do is let her put on a pair of Wranglers now and then.

Austin Jones, Popular YouTube Star, Arrested on Child Porn Charges

Austin Jones, a YouTube star with over 500,000 subscribers to his online channel, was arrested Monday night on child pornography charges.

Known for his a capella covers of pop songs, the 24-year old was charged this week with two counts of production of child pornography.

According to the Chicago Sun-Times, which broke this disturbing piece of news, Jones is scheduled to appear in court tomorrow for a detention hearing.

He must remain in federal custody until then because, according to prosecutors, the singer is a “risk to the community and there’s a danger he’ll flee.”

Yikes.

If convicted, Jones could spend 15 years behind bars.

Court documents obtained by the aforementioned newspaper outline how Jones was allegedly in communication with a pair of underage females in August of 2016 and May of this year.

The exchanges took place via Facebook.

In one instance, a 14-year old told Austin that she was his biggest fan and he asked her to “prove” it by sending him sexually explicit videos.

A resident of Bloomingdale, Illinois, Jones was taken into custody at O’Hare Airport by Customs and Border Patrol and Homeland Security agents.

He reportedly gave a recorded interview at the scene in which he confessed to the charges against him.

In May of 2015, Jones issued a lengthy statement/apology in regard allegations that he lied about his age to solicit “twerking” videos from underage girls.

“I’m embarrassed,” Jones said on Facebook, adding at the time:

“I’d have conversations online with girls that would involve me asking them to create a video of themselves twerking. Sometimes I’d make videos of myself doing some twerk moves in return.

Here’s the truth: I NEVER asked them to do anything more than send a twerking video. Nothing EVER went beyond that.”

Continued Jones by way of explanation two years ago:

“I’ve been in therapy, seeking help to discover why I communicated with my fans in a way that I have come to fully realize was not appropriate…

“To anyone that I have made feel uncomfortable or awkward, I am deeply sorry for the hurt and shame I may have caused you.”

He concluded:

“To those who have and will continue to support me, please know I never meant to let you down and I am doing everything I can – with the help of my family and friends – to pick myself back up and be a better person.

“Thanks for believing in me. Please be good to each other and we’ll see each other soon.”

Austin has achieved viral fame by covering artists such as Justin Bieber, Twenty One Pilots and Fall Out Boy; his videos have garnered over 25 million views since he started his YouTube page in 2007.

In 2014, he released an EP titled “We’ll Fall Together.”

According to his Instagram, which boasts more than 300,000 followers, Jones was previously on tour and recently performed in Poland.

According to this criminal complaint, he asked one 14-year old girl to send him 10 videos of herself exposing her body, telling her what to wear and how to dance in them.

In a conversation last August with another victim, Jones allegedly acknowledged the girl was 14 and that he was 23 at the time.

He supposedly said to her that if she was “lucky,” she would get to perform a sex act on him.

Federal agents say this girl sent him 25 videos, including eight of her exposing her genitals.

After his arrest, Jones admitted requesting and receiving videos from the victims, and he admitted it was for sexual pleasure, based on the complaint.

Austin Forsyth"s Letter to Joy-Anna Duggar on Their Wedding Day Will Melt Your Heart

On May 26, Joy-Anna Duggar and Austin Forsyth tied the knot in Arkansas, completing the transition from side hugs to married life.

Much has been written about this watershed moment for Duggar Nation, but nothing compares to what Austin himself wrote that day.

Before Austin and Joy-Anna’s wedding, which took place at Cross Church in Rogers, Ark., penned a sweet love letter to his bride-to-be.

Whatever you think of the Duggars and their in-laws, it is touching beyond words, and may inspire you to write a similar one yourself.

“My dearest love,” Austin Marytn Forsyth began in his handwritten letter, posted to the TLC website ahead of tomorrow’s season premiere.

“The very thought of getting to be your husband is very humbling and a great honor. You are truly a gift from our Heavenly Father.”

“The way we have been brought together is very evident that we serve a God who cares so much for us,” the would-be groom continued.

“I try to imagine God’s unmerited favor, the best example I know is how He has blessed me with you! You are such a woman of character.

“The heart you have for Him, His word, and His people has challenged me time and time again to love Him and you all the more.”

“Getting to spend time with you is my favorite thing,” he added. “You are fun, enthusiastic, adventurous, and always willing to try new things.”

“I love you with all my heart and can’t wait to grow deeper in love with you!” Austin said, putting an official end to Joy-Anna’s cold feet.

Their lifestyle choices, religious believes and sheer number of things banned by the Duggar family have been debated at length.

From old-fashioned patriarchal conventions and forced religious rituals to their aggressive procreation, many aspects are controversial.

But this? This is just touching.

Hopefully it becomes a tradition in and of itself to pen letters like this, because it’s something anyone – regardless of religion – would cherish.

Perhaps Joe will take note.

The next member and soon-to-be members of this famous family to be walking down the aisle are Joseph Duggar and Kendra Caldwell.

He actually popped the question at his sister’s reception that same day (Joe was slammed for this, but Joy-Anna gave him her blessing).

“We are super excited. It’s great to not be courting anymore, now we’re engaged!” the couple said. “I was definitely nervous going into it.”

“But I wasn’t afraid that she was going to say no,” he added, and for good reason it turned out. “She had said, ‘I’m just waiting on you!"”

Pretty wonderful all around.

The Duggars will always endure scrutiny from a chorus of critics, and often times, those detractors will raise some valid concerns.

Discussions of gender roles, in particular, and how the famous family treats women within relationships are worth having in a civil manner.

Still, there’s little doubt that relationships like Austin and Joy’s are rooted in so much love, compassion and devotion to one another.

What’s not to love.

Check out the above gallery for all the behind-the-scenes photos from the wedding day, from the couple themselves to the whole family!

Also, don’t forget that Counting On returns tomorrow on TLC for a brand new season featuring their wedding and much, much more …

Joy-Anna Duggar & Austin Forsyth Wedding: ALL the Details!

Austin Forsyth married Joy-Anna Duggar last month in Arkansas, and we’re still getting more details on the biggest day of her entire life.

Emphasis on BIG. It’s the Duggar family after all.

The wedding, which will be chronicled in the very first episode of Counting On Season 4 June 12, took place at Cross Church in Arkansas.

Thanks to photos posted by the family, and a little sleuthing by The Ashley‘s Reality Roundup, we now know more about the May 26 event.

Joy-Anna had eight bridesmaids, but unlike her sisters – who had both family members and friends stand with them – it was family only.

Jill Duggar, her older sister and part of Joy’s “buddy group” (yes, the Duggars have 19 kids, so they have those) was Matron of Honor.

On top of Jill, Jessa Seewald, Jinger Duggar, Jana Duggar, Johanna Duggar and Jennifer Duggar were bridesmaids, along with two in-laws.

Well, one in-law and one future-in-law. Anna Duggar, Josh’s wife, and Kendra Caldwell, Joseph’s soon-to-be wife, rounded out the party.

Guess Josh was invited to the wedding after all.

Austin, meanwhile, had a whopping 13 groomsmen at his wedding, and according to The Ashley, and those 13 varied greatly in age.

Joy-Anna’s wedding dress was a beautiful, lace-covered gown that included pieces of her mother’s wedding gown, and that’s not all.

The dress also featured portions ofher grandmother’s wedding gown and Austin’s mother’s wedding gown, a touching family tradition.

Austin wore … a dark blue suit. He’s a guy. His groomsmen did the same, along with gray, as the bridesmaids wore long, dark blue gowns.

The stage for the ceremony featured flowers and hay (really) hanging from the ceiling and decorating the floor in an outdoor-themed decor.

As for the cake, the dessert-loving duo chose a simple, six-tier white wedding cake trimmed in orange, white and yellow flowers. Delish.

As previously reported, Joy’s brother Joseph Duggar proposed to Kendra Caldwell, his girlfriend of a few months, at the wedding reception.

Kendra said she had no idea that Joe was planning to propose – “I’m so happy and so shocked,” she said – but Joy had given her blessing.

Joe didn’t want to upstage her, after all.

Following the wedding, Joy and Austin’s honeymoon is now underway, with the blissfully in love couple saying they will be gone for awhile.

The two have not revealed where they are honeymooning, but given that they’re wearing big jackets in photos, it appears to be chilly.

No tropical islands for these two.

That’s too bad for those of us hoping for a revival of Jessa Duggar’s swimsuit photo from a few years ago, but we’re glad they’re happy.

In a video posted to YouTube, Joy and Austin discussed how much fun they’ve been having and seem generally over the moon.

“We’re just loving the married life!” Joy-Anna gushed.

“It’s been such a blast so far!” Mrs. Forsyth added.

We can’t wait to see it play out on TV.

Wonder Woman: Misogynist ROASTED by Austin Mayor Steve Adler!

Have you seen Wonder Woman yet?

I have. It was great. A friend cried during it. The audience applauded at the end.

But the film’s release hasn’t been a stranger to controversy. One particularly hateful response to a women-only screening got an epic smack-down by none other than the mayor of Austin, Texas.

Yeah, usually mayors don’t get a lot of attention for talking about superhero movies, and Mayor Steve Adler isn’t really an exception.

He’s talking about sexism and human dignity.

The controversy wasn’t so much about Wonder Woman itself, but about one theater’s decision to host a women-only screening, and one of the men who absolutely flipped out about it.

In case it actually needs to be stated, like, men-only screenings of films aren’t uncommon. Also plenty of bars still have “Ladies Night” and that sort of thing.

It’s a little weird, sure, though we can totally understand why some women would want to see the film in the absence of guys like whatever piece of work wrote this horrifying email to Austin’s mayor.

“The notion of a woman hero is a fine example of women’s eagerness to accept the appearance of achievement without actual achievement.

“Women learn from an early age to value make-up, that it’s OK to pretend that you are greater than you actually are,” he writes, only after hoping for Austin’s defamation and accusing the theater of “sexism.”

All superheroes are pretend, not just the lady ones. The makeup comment is so weird that we don’t even know how to respond except to say that clearly this guy doesn’t ever do anything to improve his appearance.

“Women pretend they do not know that only men serve in combat because they are content to have an easier ride. Women gladly accept gold medals at the Olympics for coming in 10th and competing only against the second class of athletes,” he says as if he isn’t the wrongest person to ever live.

“Name something invented by a woman! Achievements by the second rate gender pale in comparison to virtually everything great in human history was accomplished by men, not women,” he continued, just keeping on digging that hole.

The short version of all of this is that a man who despises women claims that he doesn’t.

He then signs his name, Richard A. Ameduri, because that’s totally a letter where you’d want to include your name.

Steve Adler’s letter in response is all kinds of savage.

“I am writing to alert you that your email account has been hacked by an unfortunate and unusually hostile individual,” he begins.

“Please remedy your account’s security right away, lest this person’s uninformed and sexist rantings give you a bad name. After all, we men have to look out for each other!”

That’s tongue-in-cheek and beautiful, right?

Then he dives in and just begins solidly refuting the vile man’s sexist claims.

“Can you imagine if someone thought that you didn’t know women could serve in our combat units now without exclusion?” he asked. You can feel the sarcasm emanating in waves from the screen.

Remember that claim that women never invented anything? Adler sure did.

“What if someone thought you didn’t know that women invented medical syringes, life rafts, fire escapes, central and solar heating, a war-time communications system for radio-controlling torpedoes that laid the technological foundations for everything from Wi-Fi to GPS, and beer?”

A nicely succinct list.

Which of course could have been longer.

He also took the time to remind the whiner that a private business can hold whatever screenings they like.

“And I hesitate to imagine,” he adds. “How embarrassed you’d be if someone thought you were upset that a private business was realizing a business opportunity by reserving one screening this weekend for women to see a superhero movie.”

Savage.

We love seeing intelligent politicians go off on people who deserve it.

And speaking of things getting what they deserve, Wonder Woman is already a hit at the box office after only Thursday night’s early previews.

We can’t wait to see what kind of numbers she rakes in by the end of the weekend.

Joy-Anna Duggar and Austin Forsyth: Married! For Real!

Stop the presses and end the speculation:

Joy-Anna Duggar and Austin Forsyth are married.

It’s finally true! And oh so exciting!

For the past several days, fans of this reality star have been wondering whether or not she and her long-time acquaintance had tied the knot.

There was chatter just a few days ago that Duggar and Forsyth said “They Do!” on Saturday, May 20, choosing to keep the romantic information to themselves for a bit.

Then, the top social media source for all things Duggar Family (the Facebook page “Duggar Family News: Life Is Not all Pickles & Hairspray”) reported that a wedding had, indeed, taken place.

Now, however, we can state with certainty that the 19-year old and 23-year old are finally Husband and Wife.

How come?

Because they’ve confirmed it themselves!

“We feel so happy and so excited,” the couple told People Magazine after getting married on Friday in a church full of family members and loved ones.

The publication has even included a photo of Joy-Anna in her wedding dress for its exclusive article.

Adds the bride of her big day and her new husband:

“Leading up, it was so surreal until I was walking down the aisle and then I was like, ‘Oh my goodness, it’s actually here.’

“We are going to be traveling for our Honeymoon for awhile.”

The young star got engaged just a few months after announcing their courtship on the special episode of Counting On: Jinger’s Wedding in November.

This is typical protocol for members of this large family, of course.

Due to very strict dating rules, they are barely allowed to do more than whisper in one another’s ears while dating… so it makes sense they’d want to get married as soon as possible once they find someone they like a whole lot.

In Joy-Anna and Austin’s case, they were friends for 15 years before entering into a courtship.

EEEK! It’s Joy-Anna Duggar in her wedding dress, courtesy of a TLC trailer!

“It’s really special that I got to grow up with him and my family knows him really well,” Joy-Anna said of Austin back in February, speaking on their shared history and relationship.

The teenager acknowledged at the time that she’s relatively young to be engaged, but she’s witnessed successful relationships across the board when it comes to her gigantic family.

“Watching my sisters go through that with their courtships sets a really good example,” she told People, adding:

“I was able to ask them just a lot of questions and wisdom about what they did and didn’t do and then just making it special. Showing him how much I appreciate him, it’s been amazing.”

Joy-Anna and Austin, meanwhile, recorded a video for TLC so soon after their nuptials that the former is still in her gown.

(Hence the photo above).

In this preview, the newlyweds tease the June 12 return of Counting On and make it clear that they’re totally psyched to be married.

“Saying our vows and saying ‘I do’ and committing our lives to each other is so incredible,” the bride says. “I am so blessed to be married to him.”

And Austin agrees.

“I’m just looking forward to getting to share my life, its good time and its challenges, with my best friend,” says in the following footage:

How do famous parent Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar feel about the bump in status for their daughter and official new son-in-law?

Pretty darn good!

“What an absolutely wonderful day our family will always treasure,” they wrote on Instagram last night.

“As parents, we could not be more grateful for the godly woman Joy has become, and the loving husband she married!

“We love you, Joy and Austin and are so happy for you both, as you embark on this exciting journey together!”

The wedding itself, along with many other details of this relationship, will be featured on the June 12 premiere of TLC’s Counting On.

And the Joy-Anna Duggar pregnancy talk can begin right now!

This wedding comes after sister Jinger Duggar got hitched to Jeremy Vuolo in November 2016.

And this ceremony followed in the marital footsteps of siblings Jill and Jessa Duggar to Derek Dillard in June 2014 and Ben Seewald in November 2014, respectively.

Finally, guess what:

Joseph Duggar went ahead and got engaged to Kendra Caldwell at Joy-Anna’s reception last night!

It’s true!

“We are super excited. It’s great to not be courting anymore, now we’re engaged!” the couple shared with People shortly afterward.

We send our hearty congratulations to Joy-Anna, Austin, Joseph and Kendra!!!!!

How about one more photo of Joy-Anna Duggar in her wedding dress?

Here it is!

Doesn’t she look gorgeous?

Joy-Anna Duggar and Austin Forsyth: Married or Not!? New Details Emerge ...

After a whirlwind courtship and a friendship of more than a dozen years, Joy-Anna Duggar and Austin Forsyth tied the knot in Arkansas.

Or did they?!

Joy, 19, reportedly was set to become the fifth of Jim Bob and Michelle’s 19 kids to tie the knot, and the fourth daughter to do so.

The Duggar first-born-son-who-must-not-be-named, Jill, Jessa and Jinger walked down the aisle in past years and in that order.

Surprising reports that we would see Joy-Anna Duggar and Austin Forsyth married this weekend broke just a few couple of days ago.

Initially, a wedding registry attributed to the couple surfaced online, and clearly identified a wedding date – her 20th birthday this fall.

That was either bogus, or they pulled a fast one?

Did Joy-Anna and Austin Forsyth go on to tie knot much sooner than anyone, even those close to them, expected, and in relative secrecy?

Were it not for the Duggar Facebook fan page Pickles 4 Truth, we might not have had the slightest heads up about the Forsyth nuptials.

Then again, it may all have been a false alarm.

According to insiders on the ground in Tontitown, it does not appear that the wedding actually took place last weekend after all.

The Duggars did not post any videos from the wedding, nor did they make any official announcements via People magazine.

(That publication is the family’s de facto media mouthpiece that always gets first dibs, as Duggar obsessives know by now.)

In addition, no paparazzi photos were taken of the wedding which, as The Ashley notes, would be almost impossible to pull off.

If there’d been, you know, an actual wedding.

Part of the reason this rumor gained such crazy traction would be that they seemed to have sufficient motivation to fast-track this wedding.

By either hosting a much smaller party, or somehow keeping a giant Duggar Fest a secret from the press, they could save it for TLC.

Ratings for Counting On – returning June 12! – have been on the decline, and a Joy-Anna wedding surprise would be a big time storyline.

Still, it would be nearly impossible to pull off.

The family can, as we saw with Jinger’s wedding, do a lot to minimize photos being taken by outside sources looking to cover the event.

However, keeping the press away entirely, or no media hearing about the event from 1,250 of the Duggars’ closest friends and relations?

A tall order to say the least.

More significantly, a blog run by a Duggar family friend has finally confirmed via its Twitter feed that Joy and Austin did not get hitched.

“It was rumored that Joy and Austin got married on May 20th and they did not,” the blog tweeted. “This was confirmed by a family [member].”

So that’s that. However …

While Joy and Austin have yet to get married, they may still be getting hitched sooner rather than later, based on some real evidence.

The cute couple applied for a marriage license on Thursday, May 11 in Washington County, Arkansas, as documented below.

Per the county’s rules, the license is valid for 60 days after it is issued, meaning that the wedding will take place by July 10!

Joy-Anna Duggar: Married?

That throws a wrench into the theory that the online registry spawned – Joy-Anna getting married on her 20th birthday in October.

Sure, they could apply for, pay for and receive another license after this one expires, and continue to do so as long as they like.

Does anybody actually think like that, though?

Of course not, so sometime before July 10 seems like a safe bet, and possibly on the sooner, rather than the later side of that window.

With the pregnant Jill and Anna Duggar both due to give birth this summer, we’d guess that the nuptials are being fast-tracked.

Third-trimester pregnancies in Arkansas in July? Especially if they’re in the wedding? Call it a hunch, but we’re eyeing early-mid June.

Stay tuned for more on this developing story …

Joy-Anna Duggar & Austin Forsyth Receive Marriage License: Are They Already Married?!

Back when Joy-Anna Duggar and Austin Forsyth first got engaged, the young couple was remarkably tight-lipped about their wedding planning process.

Months later, the couple still refuses to reveal certain details such as the date and location of their nuptials, but unfortunately for them, this is 2017, a time when there are no secrets.

Committed Duggar obsessives recently managed to unearth information about that seems to point to Joy-Anna and Austin’s wedding date, but there are two conflicting theories.

One holds that Duggar and Forsyth will get married in October, on Joy-Anna’s birthday.

That theory is supported by a page on a wedding registry site that seems to have been created by Joy-Anna and Austin.

It was removed shortly after is was discovered by fans.

But that doesn’t necessarily mean it was legit.

Many fans now believe that Joy-Anna and Austin got married last week in a secret ceremony.

That news comes from the Facebook page Duggar Family News: Life Is Not all Pickles & Harispray, the number one social media source for Duggar updates.

P&H is generally pretty on point, but the page recently revealed that its source on the May wedding recently went radio silent.

However, the admin also pointed out that Duggars’ silence on the wedding rumor is more than a little suspicious.

And today, the page posted this intriguing clue:

Joy-Anna Duggar: Married?

As you can wee, it looks as though the Joy-Anna and Austin secured a marriage license last week.

That doesn’t mean, of course, that they’re already married, but importantly, it means they could be already married.

Or that they’re planning to get hitched in the very near future.

If the Duggars managed to keep a wedding under wraps it would have no easy feat.

Duggar weddings are typically massive affairs attended by upwards of one thousand guests.

But the family may have had sufficient motivation to either host a much smaller party, or to somehow keep a giant Duggar Fest a secret from the press.

The ratings for their reality show have been on the decline, and births and weddings are the family’s bread and butter.

It’s possible that Joy-Anna was persuaded to keep her nuptials under wraps so that a surprise wedding special would provided a much-needed ratings spike.

If that’s the case, we likely won’t find out her marital status until the Duggars return to the airwaves next month.

Watch Counting On online to get caught up before then.

Joy-Anna Duggar & Austin Forsyth: Are They Secretly Married?!

When we first learned that Joy-Anna Duggar had set a wedding date, it looked as though she and Austin Forsyth would be tying the knot in October.

It was an odd revelation, as it would mean that Joy-Anna and Austin would be engaged for nearly eight months, which is considerably longer than Duggars usually wait to tie the knot.

(You’d be in a hurry, too, if your pre-wedding physical contact was limited to hand-holding.)

So it didn’t come as much of a surprise when it was widely reported that Joy-Anna and Austin had moved the wedding up and would actually be tying the knot on May 20.

Now that the date has come and gone, fans have been left wondering:

Is Joy-Anna Duggar a married woman?

It’s a simple question, but as with so many Duggar-related matters, the answer is more complicated than one would initially suspect.

If Joy-Anna and Austin did make it legal over the weekend, it looks as though they’re keeping it to themselves.

You might think the lack of social media confirmation would mean that the wedding didn’t take place as rumored, but that’s not necessarily the case.

As the folks at In Touch point out, Joy-Anna and Austin’s joint bachelor/bachelorette party was held earlier this month, and family members traveled from far and wide to celebrate with a camping trip.

It seems unlikely that the young couple would make relatives travel to Tontitown twice, in two different parts of the year.

The rumors of a surprise May wedding originated on the Life Is Not All Pickles and Hairspray Facebook page, the number one source for Duggar news on social media.

The page’s administrator says her source was adamant that the wedding would be taking place over the weekend.

Now, however, that same insider is strangely silent, but the page says it’s still possible that there was a Duggar wedding over the weekend, and points out that the family’s radio silence on social media is highly suspicious:

“The silence is deafening,” Pickles and Hairspray writes.

“My source may still get back to me…or not. I’ll let you know if she ever produces proof of a wedding happening this weekend but I really don’t see a reason for her to lie unless the people who were feeding her information were lying.”

Of course, as the page points out, there’s another possibility as well:

“My hope is that Joy actually did run and the wedding guests are too busy searching for her to post anything about the wedding.”

No doubt that unexpected twist would make some fans very happy.

Joy-Anna Duggar and Austin Forsyth: Getting Married THIS WEEK?!

Last month, we reported that Joy-Anna Duggar and Austin Forsyth would be getting married in October, on Joy-Anna’s birthday.

The news came to us via an online wedding registry that was registered to the young couple and clearly identified the date of their nuptials.

But it looks like the Duggar clan may have pulled a fast one on us, as it seems Joy-Anna and Austin are actually tying the knot much sooner than expected.

According to the Duggar Family News (Life is Not All Pickles and Hairspray) Facebook page, Joy-Anna and Austin will actually by tying the knot this weekend.

“I heard from a Duggar insider that Joy’s wedding will be next week,” the page reports.

“I’m guessing that means Saturday, May 20th.”

The post was later updated, adding:

“It’s been confirmed. The wedding is this Saturday.”

Pickles and Hairspray is generally a very reliable source for Duggar info, and the page’s admin frequently delivers a healthy dose of sass along with the news.

Reporting on the location of Joy-Anna’s ceremony, P&H revealed:

It seems like the wedding will be held close to the Duggar compound since the source said guests will be at the compound before and after the wedding.

“That’s all I know right now except I hope Joy gets up the nerve to run before then and live the life God gave her not the one arranged for her by her fruitcake dad.”

Of course, any Duggar woman her fled her own wedding would be immediately branded a heretic and forced to spend her remaining years wandering the local Wal-Mart in a dress of the shabbiest denim, so we doubt that’ll happen.

But oh, how we would love to see the look on Jim Bob’s face.

Originally we thought that it was bizarre that these lovebirds were waiting so long to tie the knot.

After all, Joy-Anna and Austin have already been courting for several months, and Duggars generally aren’t big on wasting valuable baby-making time.

So the revelation that the registry was a ploy to throw the press off their trail explains quite a bit.

After the wedding, of course, the family will be soaking up all the press attention it can get, but if other outlets receive details in advance, it might be harder to ensure the whole thing remains a TLC exclusive.

No word on whether or not Joy-Anna is upset that she’ll be forced to compete with Pippa Middleton’s wedding for the attention of the tabloids and gossip sites, but we’re guessing there will be attention enough for plenty of them.

After all, Arkansan religious zealots and British royals have slightly different target audiences.

Watch Counting On online to relive Joy-Anna and Austin’s road to the altar.

Joy-Anna Duggar & Austin Forsyth: Inside the INSANE Bachelor(ette) Party!

Joy-Anna Duggar and Austin Forsyth are getting married, presumably this year (her rumored wedding date is her 20th birthday, October 28).

But you know what happens before any vows are exchanged:

The obligatory joint bachelor and bachelorette party!

This past weekend, Joy and Austin celebrated their upcoming nuptials with a joint bash that was allegedly off-the-chain, buck wild crazy.

Just kidding. No one anywhere alleged any such thing.

These are the Duggars after all, and Austin Forsyth"s family is said to be even more conservative, so the festivities were … a bit different.

That doesn"t mean it was totally lame, though.

The duo ventured into the great outdoors for their parties, and lots of fun was had. Just sans booze or boobs or junk in anyone"s face.

A weekend full of camping, kayaking and marshmallow roasting was right up Joy-Anna and Austin"s alley than strip clubs or body shots.

No partying or drinking required!

No, the only porking going on last weekend was with the actual hot dogs, roasting on an open fire to be deliciously consumed by all.

What better way to celebrate!?

Naturally, a TLC crew was ready and willing to film ALL the partying (term used loosely) for the Duggars" reality show, Counting On.

A new season begins June 12.

“I think I like doing outdoor activities because I grew up doing that,” Austin said, starting into the cameras with a deathly serious gaze.

Guy may want to take a cue from Jeremy Vuolo or even Ben Seewald in terms of on-air charisma, because man. Dead eyes, people.

Amazingly, throughout the interview, Joy and Austin side-hug the crap out of each other, rocking back and forth in singular, fluid motion.

Seriously, they never waver from the side hug position, making us wonder if the hornballs are tethered together to test their urges 24/7.

Lovebirds. Lovebirds, not hornballs.

Sorry about that. In any event, Joy-Anna relays that their wedding planning is going great so far, and that Forsyth has been super involved.

“I think Austin has been helping out more than I ever thought he would be,” she says, while he calls her a “beautiful young lady.”

NOTE: If Joy-Anna"s weight loss, or rumored weight loss, is affecting her or being forced upon her, there"s no evidence of it here.

Joy looks happy and healthy standing next to her friend of 15 years, and Forsyth says he is “so excited to marry the woman of my dreams.”

In the video, Joy says that she’s never really been one for outdoor activities, but based on their wedding registry, that"s about to change.

Joy and Austin registered for camping and wilderness gear up the wazoo. You know, stuff like sleeping bags, tents and camp cookware.

If Joy doesn"t fancy herself the outdoorsy type, and fears that she may be rushing into things, she may want to bolt and run for the hills.

Not literally, because hills = wilderness. You know what we mean. Get out now before it"s too late; Josiah ended a courtship, there is precedent.

Anyway, check out the future Mr. and Mrs. Forsyth"s preview of their big bachelor(ette) weekend in the Counting On teaser below.

Joy-Anna Duggar & Austin Forsyth: Wedding Date Revealed!

Another Duggar wedding is in the works, and once again, the family is being selective about which details are revealed to the public, and which are reserved for the inevitable three-part wedding special.

We’re starting to think the real reason unmarried Duggars aren’t allowed to have social media accounts is that they might mess up the ratings by revealing courtship details on Instagram.

These days, we’re waiting on the wedding of Joy-Anna Duggar and Austin Forsyth.

Joy-Anna and Austin announced their courtship back in November, and the couple has reportedly been going full-steam ahead ever since.

Joy-Anna and her man have known one another since childhood, so it’s been rumored that they moved faster than is customary in the world of Duggar courtships.

(There have also been reports of Joy-Anna and Austin breaking courtship rules by moving well beyond the realm of hand-holding and side hugs, but that’s a conversation for another time.)

Interestingly, however, when it comes to time between the beginning of the relationship and the exchanging vows, Joy-Anna is actually waiting longer than any of her sisters.

According to wedding registry website The Knot, Joy-Anna and Austin will get married on October 28, which also happens to be Joy-Anna’s birthday.

That means the couple will court for almost a full year before becoming man and wife.

Obviously, the date carries special meaning for the couple, but it’s still strange that they’re waiting so long to make it official when they seemed so certain from the start.

For comparison, Jinger Duggar married Jeremy Vuolo after just four months of courting.

The courtship has been something of a PR nightmare for the Duggars thanks to those rumors about Joy-Anna and Austin flouting the rules, and it was widely assumed that that things would be rushed along to avoid further bad press.

Further complicating matters is the fact that the Forsyths are a bit more modern, and Austin is an avid social media user.

So for once, we don’t have to wait until the wedding special to find out what’s really going on.

And it seems that what’s really going on is a courting couple that doesn’t feel the need to sprint down the aisle because they’ve already progressed beyond the point of side-hugs.

Watch Counting On online to remind yourself of just how bonkers this whole “courting” business really is.
