Kristen Bell Condemns Snow White, Gets Torched on Twitter
Kristen Bell stars on The Good Place.
It may very well be the best show on television.
But the actress is currently residing in a rather bad place on Twitter, where numerous users are aghast over negative comments she made in regard to Snow White.
Wait… Snow White?!? In what context? Why?

The beloved voice of Anna in Frozen, Bell spoke to Parents Magazine for its latest issue and explained how she cherishes her ritual of reading bedtime stories with her girls, saying that she wants to “feed their brain.” Fair enough, right?
2. She Expounded as Follows:
“Every time we close Snow White I look at my girls and ask, ‘Don’t you think it’s weird that Snow White didn’t ask the old witch why she needed to eat the apple? Or where she got that apple?’ I say, ‘I would never take food from a stranger, would you?’ And my kids are like, ‘No!’ And I’m like, ‘Okay, I’m doing something right."”

Kristen Bell Honors Dax Shepard for 14 Years of Sobriety
We’ve heard the parenting stories of Kristen Bell getting anal worms, but we’ve also heard less lighthearted stories, such as Dax Shepard’s struggle with addiction.
He has been sober since 2004, and his beautiful wife Kristen has written a powerful and heartwarming tribute to honor his 14 years of sobriety.
Take a look:
“To the man mocked me in our wedding photos because I cried too many tears of joy,” Kristen’s post begins.
She goes on, describing him as the man “who wore a baby Bjorn for 2 straight years to show his girls how to be as adventurous as possible.”
On a sadder note, Kristen says: “Who held our dear little shakey mann pup for 8 hrs straight on the day we had to put him down,”
“I know how much you loved using,” Kristen writes.
“I know how much it got in your way,” she continues. “And I know, because I saw, how hard you worked to live without it.”
“I will forever be in awe of your dedication,” Kristen says. “And the level of fierce moral inventory you perform on yourself, like an emotional surgery, every single night.”
“You never fail to make amends, or say sorry when its needed,” Kristen says, heaping praise on him.
“You are always available to guide me, and all of our friends,” Kristen continues. “With open ears and tough love when its needed most.”
Kristen writes: “You have become the fertilizer in the garden of our life, encouraging everyone to grow.”
That is really, really beautiful — even if she did kind of just refer to him as manure.
“I’m so proud that you have never been ashamed of your story,” she continues. “But instead shared it widel.”
She explains that he does this “with the hope it might inspire someone else to become the best version of themselves.”
Meaning that he’s not just trying to help others with drug issues, but everyone.
“You have certainly inspired me to do so,” Kristen gushes.
She continues: “I love you more than I ever thought I could love anyone, and I want you to know, I see you.”
“I see how hard you work,” Kristen acknowledges. “You set an excellent example of being human.”
Clearly, in Kristen’s eyes, the only improvement that her husband could make on himself is if he were to become an excellent example of a sloth.
“Happy 14th year sobriety birthday, @daxshepard,” Kristen writes.
She signs off with: “Xoxo.”
In case anyone has somehow forgotten, Kristen was the voice of the titular character on Gossip Girl.
Dax has spoken about his addiction story in the past.
After being molested as a child, he developed a drug habit in his late teens — and says that only about 20% of childhood sex abuse survivors end up not having one addiction or another.
It takes an incredible amount of strength and determination to overcome addiction. Dax’s story is a powerful and inspirational one.
We are so glad that he and his wife were able to get their happily ever after and grow their family.
We hope that his story will continue to inspire others to transform their lives.

Kristen Bell: I Had Anal Worms and So Can You
Children — you might think of them as adorable delights or as expensive germ factories. But did you know that they also play a major role in the life cycle of certain parasites?
Kristen Bell, the delightful star of The Good Place and Veronica Mars, knows this. Because as she tells Joel McHale on his Netflix show, she had a nasty infestation of anal worms.
And, as she explains in the video below, she got them from her kids.
Kristen Bell, the beloved actress who is also a mom, segues from a joke into an important lesson while speaking on Joel McHale"s Netflix show.
"I did have anal worms two weeks ago."
Yes, that"s a real thing. It"s not a sex toy or the world"s worst gummy snack.
“I swear to God. They’re called pinworms."
That should be a familiar name for many parents in the developed world. Kristen describes how she dealt with them.
"You take a chalky substitute — you take an over the counter …"
As naturally happens in conversations, she"s cut off before explaining that people take a simple over the counter compound, either albendazole or mebendazole.
(It"s not really chalky — more like cardboard mixed with sawdust? I never had the worms but i did take the pills as a preventative measure as a child. It"s not a taste that one forgets)
"My kids have them. You never got them, when your kids were … ?"
He apparently did not, but asks Kristen if they were painful (as many parasites can cause pain).
"No but it was very itchy."
Symptoms generally include anal itching. And exposure to this parasite can be a natural product of being a parent.
"But your kids get "em, and … I"m not here to talk about pinworms but I will."
She says that it sometimes goes unnoticed in adults.
"50% of people over 15 don"t experience symptoms. Which is the itch."
"Your kids get them because they put their hands in their mouth and they lay eggs."
That is horrifying on multiple levels.
(Note, children who are very particular about cleanliness or tactile sensations may be less likely to get pinworms)
Kristen talks like an expert because learned about all of this the hard way.
"And I noticed at our preschool, all of the carpets were gone. And I was like "this is an interesting development; where are the carpets?""
That"s a great question.
"And they were like, "oh, we"re having them cleaned." And I was like, "okay, why?""
Also a great question.
"And they said, "oh, we had a pinworm case." And I of course immediately googled it."
Kristen Bell educated herself not a moment too soon.
"And it"s like so, so contagious. And I noticed that my three-year-old was [scratching her butt] for like a week."
The eggs actually incubate for weeks, making the pinworms extra difficult to eradicate. Also, the medication only kills adult worms — not the eggs. So you"re often looking at multiple doses.
"You have to monitor it and look in their poop and when you wipe their butt."
This is how you determine if they actually have pinworms.
“Sure enough I wiped and saw a little white worm."
Well, that"s all gross, and I think that I"ll just wear a HAZMAT suit the next time that I go to any place that children frequent.
The good news, at least, is that pinworms are only transferred through humans!

Jinger Duggar at 18 Weeks: Check Out My "Bell Pepper!"
Jinger Duggar is nearly halfway home, folks.
Or, to be more specific, Jinger Duggar’s impending bundle of joy is nearly halfway home.
The young reality star has updated fans on the status of her pregnancy, sharing a new photo on Instagram on Saturday that depicts her standing alongside a chalkboard.
We can see a baby bump just starting to form underneath her black shirt, while we can also be treated to a science lesson from Jinger at the same time.
“Update on Baby Vuolo,” she wrote as a simple caption to the snapshot above, which includes a message of its own.
At 18 weeks, Jinger informs us, a baby is the size of a bell pepper.
Sort of interesting, right?
(And, no, for the medical record, it does not matter if said pepper is red, green or yellow.)
This is the first baby bump glimpse Jinger has given us since her fetus turned 15 weeks old, as you can see below:
Jinger and husband Jeremy Vuolo announced they were expecting in early January.
They did so via a very cute snapshot of the couple and a sign that said, appropriately, “We’re expecting.”
In a follow-up statement to Us Weekly, the twosome – who got married in late 2016 – told the tabloid:
“The past 14 months have been the best of our lives as we have had the wonderful privilege of beginning our journey through life together in marriage.
“We both looked forward to the joys of marriage but neither one of us fully understood just how amazing the start of this journey would be.”
Having barely even held hands prior to exchanging vows, Jinger and Jeremy eventually had the sort of sex that leads to a baby.
“Truly, the Lord’s mercies are new every morning! Now, the journey has taken an exciting turn: We are expecting our first child!” they added in this statement, concluding at the time:
“We are praising God for this beautiful gift and ask that you join us in praying for a safe and healthy pregnancy.”
For the Duggar family, of course, waiting over a year after marriage to get pregnant is equivalent to a lifetime.
(By comparison, for example, Joy-Anna Duggar got pregnant just three months after getting hitched.)
As a result, some judgemental social media trolls have been shaming Jinger over her pregnancy, much to the chagrin of viewers who have followed this TLC personality since she was a young teenager.
Thankfully, in response to this new snapshot, almost all comments have been positive and supportive.
“You’re carrying high @jingervuolo! I bet it’s a girl!” predicted one excited follower.
Added another: “Omg you got a belly as if you were having a girl.”
Interesting, huh?
Jinger is yet to confirm the gender of her baby. We’re guessing she doesn’t even know what it is herself.
But we’ll all find out in about 22 weeks!
