Joy-Anna Duggar Rides Dirt Bike, Wears ... Well, You Gotta See This
Joy-Anna Duggar and her husband, Austin Forsyth, are on one crazy ride. And not just on the emotional roller coaster known as this life.
No, we’re talking about in the literal sense, on dirt bikes.
Just days before their three-month wedding anniversary, they took to the outdoors … and she dressed for the occasion as only a Duggar can:
The Counting On cast member, 19, donned her traditional, conservative style of dress – with a striped undershirt underneath the floral frock.
(And protective riding gear, obviously. Safety first!)
“I always love getting to do new things & go on new adventures with my man!” Joy-Anna captioned the photos above and below.
“#firsttimedirtbiking #loveyouforeverandalways.”
Joy-Anna and Austin, in the first photo, are seen on on separate bikes; Joy then wraps her arms around her husband, 22, on the same one.
Some might argue that wearing a flowing dress while dirt biking is unconventional, even dangerous, with all of that fabric and machinery.
She does not seem deterred in the least, though.
The Duggar dress code, and how it evolves (or doesn’t) with the adult women after they marry continues to fascinate fans and critics.
Jinger Duggar wearing pants and shorts has become a thing lately, and yet it’s only permissible because her husband is cool with it.
Many fans are no doubt thrilled to know that Jeremy Vuolo doesn’t equate jeans with hedonism, but it’s a little troubling that it’s his call.
While Jinger is really sticking it to Jim Bob left and right these days, Joy-Anna appears to have no such post-wedding inclinations.
People close to them say that Austin’s family is more conservative than the Duggars, if that’s possible, so it’s not a huge shock.
Jessa Duggar has also remained steadfast in her embrace of the code, despite Jim Bob and Ben Seewald clashing over religion.
Not that Joy-Anna hasn’t raised eyebrows in other ways; Joy-Anna’s “obscene” PDA with Austin was a jaw-dropper for many fans.
In any case, it’s hard to believe it’s been three months since the couple tied the knot back on May 26 in their native Arkansas.
“So far it’s incredible,” Joy-Anna said.
“Saying our vows and saying ‘I do’ and committing our lives to each other is so incredible. I’m so blessed to be married to him.”
Austin added, “I’m just looking forward to getting to share my life … its good times and its challenges, with my best friend.”
Of his young wife, Forsyth continued, “Having someone there to love me and support me and always be there for me.”
Pants or no pants, these two are in love.
Every Duggar courtship – and marriage – is different, so it will be interesting to see the path Joy (or Austin) chooses for them in life.
So far, though, Jinger and Jeremy have, by far, set the high water mark for marital independence from the all-powerful Jim Bob.

The Bachelorette Recap: You Play in Dirt, You Get Dirty
This week, The Bachelorette got especially filthy as the men competed in a foul challenge to win the rose from Rachel Lindsay.
Also, DeMario Jackson returned … and you don’t need The Bachelorette spoilers to tell you that it didn’t turn out well for him.
Watching DeMario Jackson getting busted last week by a girl who claims she was dating him up until days before he went on the show?
One of the all-time franchise highlights. But it wasn’t over yet, as Mr. Here For the Wrong Reasons returned after Rachel kicked him out.
Why? To seek closure? To clear his name? To go down swinging, possibly literally, with a group of dudes looking to “whoop his ass”?
DeMario tells Rachel that he made a huge mistake pretending that he didn’t recognize his girlfriend and has learned a lot since then.
This was, of course, like 30 minutes ago.
He tells Rachel about a poem about how you can’t feel pain without joy and he is ready for joy. Rachel politely kicks him out. Again.
“F–k no!” Lindsay says when asked by the angry mob if she’s giving DeMario another chance. Everybody cheers, and we move on.
At the cocktail party, tensions between Whaboom and Blake start to boil over as the rose ceremony and certain elimination approached.
Rachel gives the first rose to Bryan Abasolo, the First Impression Rose winner and a man that many feel is who will win The Bachelorette.
See below. You can see why he’s a frontrunner.
Bryce, Eric, Anthony, Jonathan, Kenny, Will, Diggy, Iggy, Matt, Chad, Alex and Lee get them too. Whaboom and Blake? Not so much.
Those clowns then acted like morons on the way out the door, which must be reassuring for Rachel to watch now, reaffirming her choice.
Finally, the dust settles, and it’s group date time for Bryan, Jonathan, Peter, Alex, Will, Fred .. at The Ellen DeGeneres Show in L.A.
Ellen’s gonna be Rachel’s wingman for a day.
There was a lot of awkwardness, but ultimately, Alex gets the Date Rose for grinding on a grandma at The Ellen Show. Well deserved.
Next up? Rachel invites Anthony to the rodeo … Rodeo Drive, that is, but on horseback, going for a show record for terrible wordplay.
Anthony stays cool when the horse drops a D inside a store, which Rachel appreciates, so she gives him the Date Rose in response.
Always pays to keep your composure, right?
As they dance under the stars at a private concert, the two officially complete a Bachelor rite of passage for the 200th straight season.
Rachel’s next group date featured some very familiar faces from last season in Raven Gates, Corinne Olympios, Jasmine, and Alexis.
Oh yes. Corinne was back in full effect!
The women’s goal in this outing?
To see if the suitors could avoid getting drunk and hitting on anyone besides Rachel … and to watch some men mud wrestling, obviously.
Bryce pulled off the victory, while in related news, Bryce is apparently still on the show, or came in off the street just to wrestle. Unclear.
Raven was getting some red flags about Eric, so Rachel gave the Group Date Rose to him, obviously. Then the men turned on him too.
Forced to confront him for stirring the pot, Eric then flips on the rest of the guys for ratting him out, and it’s uncomfortable to the extreme.
Next week on The Bachelorette?
Lee’s Garrett’s racist tweets are shockingly revealed. Okay, probably not, but we bet we haven’t heard the last of that scandal either.

Jenelle Evans Lets Jace Ride Dirt Bikes: Are Her Kids in Danger?!?
Jenelle Evans recently took a photo of her son, Jace getting ready to ride a dirt bike.
Naturally, I freaked TFO out along with a few other concerned citizens at the sight of Jace with a dirt bike.
However, it turns out that kids as young as 10 can ride, so long as they’re taught how to use it, along with safety precautions.
Jace turned 7 on August 2nd, and the culture in his mom’s hometown may support kids getting on dirt bikes at an early age.
All it took was one person to ask if it was safe for someone as young as Jace to start riding.
“most kids start way younger than 7….my partner races off-road and started at 4,” one person commented on the photo after another asked if 7 was too young to start riding.
“Noo way. Not to young at all. Many kids start even younger than 7 :),” a second person agreed.
“Gotta learn somehow!” another wrote. “I rode horses before I could walk! Stupid people.”
One person helpfully pointed out that Maci Bookout’s son, Bentley also rides.
“Maci [sic] son has been riding a dirt bike since he was like 3 and nobody bats an eye. Jenelle let’s her son at 7 and people go crazy.”
OK, so it’s clear that Jace has the green light to ride off into the sunset (and be home by dinner).
“My son started out at two on his PW50 he will be 3 in 2months,” another follower wrote on Instagram It just depends on the parents, but she should really have better boots on him that’s for sure.”
Another person brought up the time Adam Lind took his and Chelsea Houska’s daughter, Aubree on a dirt bike. Aubree came home with a minor knee injury and informed Houska that she wasn’t wearing a helmet at the time.
So, it turns out that a few of the Teen Mom children are capable of riding dirt bikes, which is officially MTV’s legacy.

Hayes Grier: Seriously Injured in Dirt Bike Accident
Hayes Grier has been hospitalized.
The Internet sensation, who is one of the most popular stars in Vine, got into a serious accident yesterday while riding his dirt bike.
News of the crash and of Grier’s tenuous condition was first made public in a Tweet by his brother, Nash Grier.
“Just got a call on set that said Hayes was in a crash. He’s now in the hospital,” Nash tweeted to his 5.63 million followers, adding the hashtag “#PrayForHayes” to his message.
It didn’t take long for this hashtag to go viral.
In follow-up a series of follow-up Tweets, Nash kept fans as informed as he could be, writing of his sibling:
“He can move & talk (thank god) but he’s coughed up a lot of blood. That’s all I know. Praying he has a quick recovery.
“Damn I hate hearing s–t like that on the phone, scared me to death.”
About an hour later, Nash actually shared a screenshot of a text exchange (which he captioned with “Phew”) with more specific news regarding Hayes’ health.
It’s unclear who was on the other side of the exchange, but it appears to be someone at the hospital and it reads as follows:
“Your brother is pretty busted up right now. Luckily no major stuff. All scans came back negative for any internal bleeding.
“He does have a concussion, fractured top two ribs and bruised lung on one side. He is in a lot of pain.”
Hayes Grier is only 16 years old.
But he sky-rocketed to Internet fame due to his Vine and YouTube videos.
At he moment, Grier has 3.53 million Twitter followers… 5.3 million Instagram followers… 4.4 million Vine followers … and 848,000 YouTube subscribers.
He competed on Season 21 of Dancing with the Stars.
He was the second-youngest contestant to ever appear on the show and he teamed with Emma Slater to reach Week 7.
A few hours after news of Grier’s crash went public, a rep for the famous teenager released the following statement to Us Weekly:
Earlier today, Hayes Grier was involved in a dirt bike accident and immediately transported to a local hospital.
Hayes suffered a concussion, broken rib, bruised lung, and multiple skin lacerations.
Thankfully, he is OK and currently resting and recovering in the hospital surrounded by his family, where he will remain for the next few days.
We can’t thank you all enough for the outpouring of prayers and support for Hayes!

Holly Madison Dishes Even More Playboy Dirt In "The Vegas Diaries"
Hugh Hefner’s former #1 girlfriend had us all fooled.
Throughout the entire run of E!’s Girls Next Door, Holly Madison managed to convince viewers that she and Hef were the real deal, despite the age difference and the fact that there were at least two other girlfriends at all times.
Either Madison is the world’s greatest actress, or she’s bitter that things ended without an engagement ring/baby/cash prize, because Madison has penned yet another tell-all about her time at the Playboy Mansion.
The Vegas Diaries (HarperCollins, 2016) picks up where Down The Rabbit Hole left off, though the cover bills it instead as Madison’s “road to reinvention.”
Radar Online features excerpts from the book, which are just as scathing as Madison’s first tell-all.
In one chapter, Madison recalls breaking up with her boyfriend in 2009, the “controlling” hipster magician, Criss Angel.
Hef had invited Madison back to the Mansion in Los Angeles to film season six of The Girls Next Door.
“I was told it was what the network wanted. It was what the viewers wanted. It was what Hef wanted,” Madison wrote.
“But no one seemed to care that it wasn’t what I wanted,” adding that Hef was “not so subtly rooting for” his ex “to fail.”
Instead, Madison joined Dancing With The Stars and landed her own reality show, Holly’s World, which centered around her new life in Las Vegas.
Madison wrote that fans of The Girls Next Door “never saw any of the dark side: how we were treated, how we treated each other, or what people thought of us.”
Hef didn’t have a relationship with the females in his home beyond each one’s name, age, hometown “and how well she behaved and followed the rules.”
Hef exercised control and kept “everyone on their toes by playing favorites.
“How else could he stay in control of seven women?” she wrote.
“It prevented us from banding together and staging a coup. He needed to somehow maintain the upper hand.”
Madison saved room in the book to kick the crap out of her former roommate/arch nemesis, Kendra Wilkinson, who has defended Hefner against Madison’s claims.
Madison took Wilkinson to task for writing her own tell-all “the second” she left the mansion.
“In Kendra’s case, her tales were used to spawn countless tabloids bits to draw interested in her TV show, and the show in turn was used to push the book.”
