Dwayne Johnson Wishes Daughter Happy Birthday, Melts Hearts Around the Globe

Yup. In case you were wondering:

Dwayne Johnson is still winning at fatherhood.

The professional wrestler turned action star jumped on to Instagram this weekend in order to wish his daughter, Jasmine, a happy four-month birthday.

And also to continue proving why he’s one of the most beloved celebrities in all of Hollywood.

“I’m always asked – What inspires YOU? My answer’s easy and honest.. what inspires me the most is always waitin’ for me to walk thru my front door when I come home,” Johnson wrote as a caption to the above photo.

But he didn’t stop there.

“Happy 4 month birthday Jasmine! One day you’ll know just how happy, proud, lucky and blessed you, your sister and your mama make me.

“You’ll also thank me one day for your toughness and your mama’s everything else.”

Johnson and Lauren Hashian – his girlfriend of nearly a decade – welcomed Jasmine, their first child together, in December.

The former WWE star, who made an appearance at Wrestlemania this month, recently brought his 14-year-old daughter, Simone (whose mom is Johnson’s ex-wife Dany Garcia), as his date to the MTV Movie Awards.

He co-hosted that event on April 9.

Yes, Johnson ca do it all: host, act, wrestle and dote just as well as the very best fathers in the world.

Dwayne Johnson Continues to Win at Fatherhood

We can"t exactly smell what The Rock is cooking in the following precious piece of footage.

But we can definitely hear what The Rock is singing… and it couldn"t be more adorable!

The professional wrestler turned major action hero uploaded a video to Instagram last week, one that gives fans their second look at his newborn daughter, Jasmine.

The former WWE superstar and his girlfriend of almost a decade, Lauren Hashian, welcomed their first child together back on December 16.

A few days later, Johnson showed off a picture of the cute little girl.

In this video, which we may or may not have watched a dozen times already, he"s cradling her in his arms and singing to young Jasmine.

And, yes, because there"s nothign Johnson isn"t great at, he"s carrying the holiday favorite about Jack Frost nipping at one"s nose very, very well.

“Twas the night before Christmas,” the actor wrote as a caption, adding: "#BeCarefulSantaShesTough."

“Kinda crazy but in this cool and powerful skin to skin bonding moment with my newborn baby Jasmine, I had just one wish I asked the universe," Johnson wrote in a long message soon after becoming a father for the second time overall.

"Give me the strength to be a better man today than I was yesterday."

Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and Lauren Hashian Welcome a Girl

Hurrah!

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, 43 and girlfriend Lauren Hashian had a baby girl today, according E! News.

Last month, the couple announced they were expecting a girl after rumors started to pick up in September.

Hashian, 31, wrote about impending motherhood over the weekend in a very cute Instagram post.

“So grateful and in awe of this time. To experience creating a little life is just incredible,” she posted. “This beautiful cycle of life and womanhood beginning again.

“And like Big Daddy says – Couldn’t be prouder of all the kickass women she’s going to have around her! And Men of course ;)…”

In November, The Rock was psyched to add to his family.

“I was raised by and live with amazing and strong women, so the universe felt we needed one more… IT’S A BABY GIRL!! “THANK YOU guys so much for the awesome support and love you’ve sent @laurenhashianofficial and myself from around the world.

“We’re so grateful for this blessing and thrilled to share the news with y’all.”

This is Hashian’s first child; Johnson has a 16-year-old daughter, Simone, from a previous relationship.

Dwayne Johnson Gives Us Another Reason to Love Him

Dwayne Johnson is big and strong and muscular and tough.

But he"s really just a giant teddy bear inside

This was evident in how Johnson reacting to the loss of a puppy and then also evident in how excited he was to announce that he and Lauren Hashian are expecting a baby.

And it"s especially evident in the video featured here, which comes to us from Oprah"s Master Class and which features Johnson breaking down into tears over hie teenage daughter.

"I always wanted to be a great dad," he explains. "I always wanted to give Simone things that I felt I never got. When I held her when she was born, I held her in these two hands and I said to her, "I will always, always take care of you, for the rest of your life. You are safe."

"Throughout the years, throughout the ups and downs, I"ve realized that the most important thing that I could do with my daughter is lead our life with love,

"Not success, not fame, not anything else but, "I"m always here for you. I love you.""

Johnson goes on to tell the story of how he once asked Simone what she values most about her relationship with her father.

The child hems and haws and gives her dad a hard time at first because that"s what kids do.

But then she tells Johnson that she trusts him and that simple word is all it takes for Johnson to break down a bit.

Simply put, he says at the end of this video, "I love that girl."

And we love Dwayne Johnson. This is yet another reason why.

Dwayne Johnson Confirms Lauren Hashian Pregnancy

Dwayne Johnson has gone ahead and confirmed some very exciting news:

He’s going to be a father!!!

Sources had announced back in September that the wrestler formerly known as The Rock was expecting his first child (and second overall) with his very serious girlfriend.

But now an even more reliable source has come out and verified the baby on board: Johnson himself!

Moreover, he’s revealed the gender of his impending bundle of joy, writing the following message as a caption to the above photo on Instagram:

“I was raised by and live with amazing and strong women, so the universe felt we needed one more… IT’S A BABY GIRL!!

“THANK YOU guys so much for the awesome support and love you’ve sent @laurenhashianofficial and myself from around the world.

“We’re so grateful for this blessing and thrilled to share the news with y’all.”

Johnson has a 14-year old daughter, Simone, from a previous relationship.

He tragically recently lost one of his puppies, so the timing could not be better for Johnson to have a new life to welcome into the world.

And, as explained below, this little girl really could not ask for a better celebrity to be her dad, either. Congrats all around!

Dwayne Johnson"s Puppy Passes Away, Inspires Heartbreaking Instagram Post

Earlier this month, we reported that Dwayne Johnson saved his puppy from drowning after it ran headlong into the deep end of his pool and proved unable to doggy paddle.

The pup – Brutus – was one of two bulldog puppies that Johnson had recently adopted along with his longtime girlfriend, Lauren Hashian. (The other dog proved more adept at keeping his head above water.)

Sadly, it seems Brutus was simply not meant to be long for this world, as Johnson reported yesterday that he and Hashian were forced to have him put down after he ingested poisonous mushrooms in their backyard.

Johnson posted the above photo yesterday, along with a heartbreaking caption that proves The Rock is actually the ultimate softy:

“Another reminder we have to live and love as greatly as we can today, because tomorrow is never guaranteed. At approximately 11:15pm last night myself and @laurenhashianofficial had to make the painful decision to end Brutus’ suffering by taking him off of life support and sending his soul to pup heaven.

I held his lil’ paw as he was finally at peace. As all puppies and dogs do, he ate a mushroom while playing outside with his brother Hobbs. This mushroom happened to have a lethal toxicity and within hours it was rapidly destroying his liver and immune system to the point of no return.

I encourage all of you out there to be mindful of mushrooms in your yards, parks or anywhere outside your dogs play. What looks innocent, can be deadly to your lil’ family members.”

No, we’re not sobbing hysterically. It’s these damn allergies.

Obviously horrendous news, particularly coming on the heels of the fantastic story of Dwayne saving Brutus’ life just a few weeks back.

On a lighter note, we recently learned that Johnson and Hashian are expecting their first child together. If it’s a boy, might we suggest the name Brutus? If any kid could live up to that badass of a name, it would be Dwayne’s.
