Kanye West Makes an Enemy of Whitney Houston"s Family

Kanye West should just go ahead and pose naked at this point.

Are we dying to see the rapper’s most private of parts? No.

But if the artist is looking to make headlines and garner attention, he’d be far better served at this point to just follow the lead of wife Kim Kardashian

… as opposed to doing all the nauseating nonsense he’s been doing for the last several weeks.

It all started shortly after West confirmed he had a pair of albums coming out this summer.

From there, he returned to Twitter and rambled on and on about making America great again, while making his affectionfor President Donald Trump well known to all.

Then, he said black people chose to be slaves.

We figured this was the lowest point to which Kanye could sink, and some may understandably argue that is remains the case.

However, such an asinine comment was not personal in the way his latest actions are personal.

To what are we referring?

West actually went ahead recently and paid $ 85,000 for a photo that depicted Whitney Houston’s bathroom on the day she died of a drug overdose.

(The iconic singer’s body was found in the bathtub of her hotel room on February 11, 2012.)

The disturbing snapshot features a sink and vanity area covered in drug-covered spoons and drug paraphernalia.

Why would Kanye want this haunting image?

Because he used it as the cover photo for for Pusha T’s album “DAYTONA.”

Gross, right?

Houston’s cousin, Damon Elliott, certainly thinks so.

“To do something for a publicity stunt to sell records, it’s absolutely disgusting,” Elliott tells People Magazine of the photo, adding:

“It hurt my family and my daughter. It’s petty. It’s tacky.”

Yeah. We can easily see why.

Elliott actually worked with Kanye on a Keyshia Cole track and said he was stunned to learn the musician made this decision.

“I’ve watched the train wreck happening, but I didn’t think he’d go this far in invading someone’s family privacy,” says Elliott, referencing West’s recent rants and raves on social media.

Elliott wants West to apologize and to replace the inappropriate album cover.

And if Kanye ever calls and the two can chat? What would Whitney’s cousin say?

What were you thinking? Did you think this through? And if you did, why did you do this?

Because you’re hurting people. It knocked the wind out of me last night. When someone passes, you try to mourn and move on and remember the good times.

Amen. And… obvious, right?

To everyone except Kanye West.

Jill Duggar Offers Prayers to Shooting Victims, Comes Under Enemy Fire

Jill Duggar is not a politican.

But many social media users think the reality star sounds far too much like one at the moment.

Allow us to explain…

Last Friday, tragedy struck an American school. Yet again.

A 17-year old named Dimitrios Pagourtzis – armed with a shotgun and .38-caliber handgun – opened fire at Santa Fe High School after pulling the fire alarm and forcing students out of their classrooms.

And into his hailof bullets.

ln total, Pagourtzis allegedly murdered 10 people and wounded 13 others.

He was arrested and charged with capital murder and aggravated assault on a public servant.

This marked the 22nd school shooting of 2018 and it came about two months after over a dozen students were killed in a similar incident in Parkland, Florida.

In response to this heinous event, Duggar posted the following image on Instagram and wrote the following words:

Prayers for those affected by the Santa Fe shooting yesterday. #neveragain.

santafe

Her heart was likely in the right place. No one is really disputing this.

But politicians and many others have beeb offering prayers for years now after murders such as this occur – and, let’s be honest, the murders keep happening.

Jill can use the hashtag “#neveragain” all she wants, but the likelihood of this happening again is VERY strong is the only thing people do in response is to pray.

And we aren’t the only ones saying this. To wit:

“Prayers mean nothing to dead children,” one person wrote as a comment to the above photo, while another added:

“Prayers won’t fix this!!! Your government can if they want… have prayers worked in the past?”

Jill and her husband, Derick Dillard, have garnered backlash in the past for some of their more conservative comments and critiques.

The latter is an unabashed Donald Trump supporter and has made it clear many times over the past several months that he doesn’t support the gay and/or lesbian lifestyle.

For example, he lit into TLC star Nate Berkus for being gay and for having a family this spring, writing:

“It’s sad how blatant the liberal agenda is, such that it both highlights and celebrates a lifestyle so degrading to children on public television as if it should be normal.”

The natural reply here, of course, would be for someone to wonder how much Derick and Jill can care about these same children when they don’t think any changes to national gun laws need to be enacted.

Wrote about Instagram critic of Jill’s over the weekend:

“Never again???? Really?? That’s your hashtag?? Obviously it WILL HAPPEN AGAIN, and again and again!!!! It’s time for your country to address gun control. It’s just sickening.”

It’s maybe worth comparing at this point what Jill is saying here to what Kelly Clarkson said as host of the Billboard Music Awards on Sunday night.

“I’m a Texas girl and my home state has had so much heartbreak over this past year,” the singer said on stage, adding in emotion and anger:

Once again, y’all, we’re grieving more kids that have died for absolutely no reason at all…

Tonight they wanted me to say that obviously, we want to pray for all the victims and families. They also wanted me to do a moment of silence and I’m so sick of moments of silence. It’s not working, obviously.

Why don’t we stop moments of silence and do a moment of action? Why don’t we do a moment of change? Change what’s happening, because it’s horrible…

We are failing our children, we’re failing our communities. Let’s have a moment of action, let’s have a moment of change.

Watch this stirring speech below and decide:

Do you agree more with Jill’s take on this situation or with Clarkson’s call for action?

Game of Thrones Season 7 Episode 6 Recap: Death Is the Enemy

The opening scene of this week’s Game of Thrones felt like something out of a Hollywood action comedy about a ragtag band of misfits with a plan that’s just crazy enough to work.

But the banter among fellow suicide mission enthusiasts does more than remind us that the members of Jon’s crew are consummate badasses.

(We know, we know … like the rest of the world, you’re probably being haunted by visions of zombie dragons, but we have to start at the beginning.)

The psychological motives behind Jon’s unwillingness to cede power to Daenerys are addressed in an illuminating conversation with Tormund.

A separate exchange reminds us of Gendry’s ample cause to be pissed at the Brothers Without Banners.

The exposition continues with a scene that reminds us of how much Jon and Jorah have in common

There’s a poignant near-transfer of ownership for one of the show’s most vaunted weapons, but in the end, Jorah refuses to accept Longclaw … a decision pays off for Jon in the battle to come.

While it’s the dragon-centric action that’s getting the most attention this season, it’s scenes like this that remind us how deftly GoT has managed its myriad plot strands over the years.

Speaking of rehashing the past, Sansa and Arya go from sharing fond memories of their childhood at Winterfell to butting heads over the death of their father

Littlefinger’s duplicity is paying off in spades, and his campaign to tear the sisters apart is going according to plan.

It’s yet another scene that reminds us of the moral murkiness the show is willing to wade into:

We’re reminded that Sansa betrayed her family, but also that she arguably played a larger role in the recapture of Winterfell than any other individual.

The ante is upped when Arya threatens to expose Sansa, but we think it’s pretty clear this conflict will be resolved with one of the Stark girls burying that incriminating dagger between Lord Baelish’s ribs.

The unlikely comedy continues north of the Wall with a bit of witty repartee between Tromund and the Hound

Shortly thereafter, we shift into heady philosophical territory as Jon and Beric discuss the nature of their battle against death

From there, Tyrion and Daenerys talk strategy and the nature of heroism.

Yet again, Dany is given reason to doubt Tyrion’s loyalty.

It’s a tense scene, but the conflict that’s quickly upstaged by a run-in with an undead bear in the North.

The ever-awesome Thoros of Myr just barely survives, but he’s worse for wear on a quest where the odds of survival were already virtually nil.

Predictably, the insane quest to capture a live wight quickly goes from bonkers to completely batsh-t

The suicide squad is successful in capture their evidence zombie, but they’re soon stranded on an ice floe with a damn Woodstock’s worth of Walkers looking on

Not surprisingly, the perpetually-dope Thoros doesn’t survive the stand-off (pour out your flasks for a real one, y’all).

Fortunately, Beric is no less bold without his resuscitator, hatching a plan to take down the Night’s King

In the south, the gears of politics continue to grind, as Sansa is summoned to King’s Landing and decides to send Brienne in her stead.

Her situation mirrors Dany’s in a number of interesting ways, as both women

The Khaleesi who is also defying her advisors, but unlike Sansa, she’s doing it by accepting the invitation to head south.

From there, we get one of the most incredible battle scenes of the season, which is really saying something, as the show has delivered jaw-dropping effects on a number of occasions in its truncated seventh go-round.

Viserion is struck down by a well-aimed ice spear from the Night’s King,

We briefly think Jon is toast, but he claws his way out of the ice with the help of Longclaw.

(Not much tension there, as we all knew it was still too early in the story for us to lose one of its primary driving forces.)

Jon is rescued by Benjen in yet another poignant reminder of the events of Season One.

After all, it was Benjen who convinced Jon of the virtues of joining the Night’s Watch, setting his entire story arc in motion.

There’s a brief but compelling scene in which it briefly appears that Arya is about to steal her sister’s face, but it winds up as another reminder that that dagger has Littlefinger’s name on it.

Following his rescue, Jon finally bends the knee (as much as one can from a sick bed), and Dany acknowledges that the biggest threat to Westeros is the army of the Night’s King.

And she has no idea how right she is:

Just when you didn’t think they could cram another stunning twist into this episode, it happens …

Zombie. Motherf–king. Dragon.

Viserion is dragged from the ice, now reborn as essentially an undead nuke.

Needless to say, this doesn’t bode well for the citizens south of the wall, who presumably not being incinerated by zombified flying beasts.

Watch Game of Thrones online to get caught up in time for next week’s apocalyptic season finale.

The Real Housewives of Orange County Season 12 Episode 5 Recap: Mingling With the Enemy

Working on a reality TV show with some of the people you hate the most means that you’re going to have to cross paths with your enemies at one point.

Yes, on The Real Housewives of Orange County Season 12 Episode 5, Vicki Gunvalson, Shannon Beador and Tamra Barney all realized they had to go to the same event.

When the episode got underway, the topic of conversation was sex. Lydia and Doug were on vacation and thought it would be a good time to have the talk with one of their sons.

The kid looked embarrassed, to say the least, and it made for an awkward opening. The mother and father looked like they did not know what to say.

During her confessional, Lydia revealed that she was a freak in the sheets.

“Now that we’re married, we have sex a lot, and I like it, and it comes easy,” she revealed.

Meanwhile, Vicki had sex on her mind. She wanted to know whether her son, Michael and his girlfriend, Dani, were serious, or if it was one of those romances that would fizzle out.

Vicki seemed worried that their new romance could lead to an unexpected pregnancy and wanted to ensure that there were no surprises.

She also said something about making them sign a prenup, so it was the standard questions a rich parent asked when their kid wound up in a relationship.

Elsewhere, Meghan was still adjusting to her life as a mother. Let’s face it; she’s not been on the same wavelength as the other women recently.

It’s like she’s not even a main housewife, so she likely wants to rectify that before the season is over and she inevitably loses her place on the cast.

At a lunch date with Tamra and Shannon, the ladies talk about everything getting on their nerves of late, and Vicki was high on Shannon’s list.

She continued to blame Vicki for the weight gain, but Meghan was not having it and said in her confessional that “Vicki is bad, but not 40-pounds bad.”

Um, alright then.

Meghan then opened up about her having a party that includes drinking and parading your baby around.

Kelly Dodd finally decided it was time to put her beef with the women aside, and met up with Tamra for a coffee.

They quickly put their beef aside and wind up laughing with each other, so is everything finally good between them?

Well, Kelly took to her confessional to say that her plan was to “out-puppet the new puppet master.” Yeah, so she’s using Tamra.

The final event of this episode found everyone at Peggy unveiling her brand new Lamborghini. The housewives then got talking about the upcoming event at Meghan’s.

Vicki decided she would be civil and would not get into a fight with anyone.

Meghan says, “Yes, you would!”

With that, the episode came to a close, and we have to wait for that big meeting until next week.

Gulp.

Love & Hip Hop Season 7 Episode 9 Recap: Does Yandy Have a New Enemy?

Did Yandy find a way to get Samantha off her back?

That was her plan on Love & Hip Hop Season 7 Episode 9, when she realized she needed to do something to dial the drama back before it got too late.

We kicked things off with Yandy telling Juju about arguing with Mendecees. Juju was curious about what was going on between the pair, but she was shocked to the core to learn that they are not actually married.

Seriously, what the hell was going through Yandy’s mind to keep quiet about this for so long? It’s almost like she didn’t give a damn until all of these women started showing up.

Yandy then revealed that Samantha’s friend reached out to her for a chat. Now, this all does sound very odd. Why would Samantha’s friend willingly meet Samantha’s enemy?

Juju said just that to Yandy, who still proceeded with the meeting, anyway.

When Yandy met up with Koko, she was apprehensive because she had no idea if this was all just another one of Samantha’s games.

However, Yandy was floored by a statement from Koko about what the other women are really up to.

“I have recorded conversations where Erika is trying to plot and scheme against you. They want to break up your family and keep the children away from you.”

Yandy was quick to point out that she did not entirely believe what Koko was saying. Koko then said that she has tapes she can send her and apologized to her about the whole thing.

They exchanged email addresses and parted ways, with Yandy thanking Koko for taking the time to speak with her about it.

Meanwhile on this reality hit, Snoop was still trying to keep things with J strictly professional. As you already know if you watch Love & Hip Hop online, J has been trying her best to get back into a relationship with Snoop.

Snoop was working with Sofie Green and pointed out that she had a lot riding on Sofie’e performance, so she would need to deliver.

Vital then talked to Snoop about things with J. He was worried that Snoop was setting herself up for a huge fall if she and J wound up arguing with each other at work.

Snoop’s label showcase was a success, but J was on tap to cause some drama.

She got jealous of Snoop looking at girls who were performing and it paved the way for Snoop to take her outside and end their working relationship.

“I can’t do this. My personal life is handled in my home. This mess on the sidewalk is not cool. I can’t handle this. I’m done.”

Will these two ever be able to be friends again? Somehow, we’re not so sure.

Finally, Cisco and Peter met up to try and sort things after their big argument. Cisco defended himself because he felt like it was shady of Cisco to fly across a table over money.

Peter tells him “You took money from me and my kids. If it was the same situation again and you told me you had the ten grand in your pocket it would be the same thing.”

After that, Cisco revealed that he was stressed because of what was going on in his life. When prompted, Cisco revealed that his mother was dying.

This put everything into perspective and the pair stopped their feud at that very moment.

What do you think of all the drama?
