Khloe Kardashian: Rude and Demanding on Kocktails With Khloe Set?

To the shock of absolutely no one, the critically panned Khloe Kardashian talk show Kocktails With Khloe was cancelled this week after just 13 episodes.

The show actually did alright in the ratings department, which is usually all that matters, but production was plagued with problems from the start, many of them having to do with Khloe herself.

According to Page Six, Khloe was a nightmare to deal with on set.

In addition to her tendency to fight with producers over the best direction for the show (They wanted to cash in on the tabloid drama that forever surrounds her family; she wanted to land A-list guests with projects to promote.), the 30-year-old reality star was reportedly brutal to her staff.

“Khloé’s used to being on a smash-hit show and being able to call the shots,” says one source. “But it’s not like that on a small show…Eventually everyone had enough.”

This is far from the first time rumor about Khloe being a demanding diva during filming.

Considering most people in the industry are used to obnoxious behavior from celebrities, and Kocktails was a ratings boon for small, fledgling network, we think it’s safe to assume Khloe’s behavior was truly beyond the pale.

Kocktails With Khloe: Canceled! Network Pulls the Plug On Khloe Kardashian Talk Show!

After less than three months on the air, Khloe Kardashian’s FYI talk show, Kocktails With Khloe, has been canceled.

TMZ reported moments ago that the show has technically been placed on “indefinite hold,” but insiders say the chances that we’ll ever see another iteration of Khloe’s gab-fest are slim to none.

Production will halt immediately following the filming of a “farewell episode” that’s scheduled to feature Kim Kardashian, Kanye West, Chrissy Teigen and John Legend.

Maybe if Khlo always had that caliber of guests she wouldn’t be getting the boot!

It’s not known exactly why the show was canceled so abruptly.

Ratings weren’t great from the start, but Kocktails was renewed for a second season back in February FYI execs seemed committed to giving the quirky series time to find an audience.

The decision to give it the ax may have had something to do with reports of Khloe acting like a demanding diva and fighting with producers on set. 

Several insiders have claimed that Khloe wanted to take time off in order to focus on the fallout from Lamar Odom’s relapse last month, and since the show was already on the bubble, the network decided to just call it quits entirely.

Whatever the case, this is further evidence that talk shows are not the Kard clan’s strong suit. Right, Kris Jenner?

Snooki: I Was Blackout Drunk on Kocktails With Khloe!

If you’ve been watching Kocktails With Khloe on FYI, then we suppose you can just skip this article.

Now that both of them are gone, here’s an interesting tidbit for the 7.3 billion or so who had no idea FYI was a cable channel. It turns out Kocktails With Khloe is more than just a alliterative title: the sassiest Kardashian really gets her guests hammered!

Kocktails with Khloe Clip: When Snooki Met Khloe…

Or at least, she really got the Jersey Shore’s most infamous drunken munchkin hammered, which may explain why Snooki tells a remarkably candid tale of Khloe being rude as hell in the clip above.

It’s no surprise that Snooki was one of Khloe’s first guests.

After all, only Scott Disick has rivaled Snooks in terms of reality star drunkenness, and we doubt the Lord will be stopping by for drinks anytime soon (what with the all the rehab and overdoses and whatnot).

Of course, in recent years, Snooki adopted a healthier lifestyle and become a sort of mascot for moms who still find time to workout and tan 8 times a week. 

So obviously, Ms. Polizzi’s tolerance isn’t what it used to be, which may explain why she got completely sh-tfaced while filming the show:

“I was wasted,” Snooki said of the experience in a recent interview.

“I had three [drinks], and I blacked out. So when I watched the episode I’m like, oh my god I don’t remember this, I’m slurring my words, you’re so embarrassing. So I don’t remember that whole interview.”

That may explain why Snooks drunkenly lied her ass off in the clip above.

“I was like, ‘I have like ten brothers and sisters,"” said Snooki.

“I’m like ‘what are you talking about? It’s only like one or two’. So I exaggerated times ten. That was Snooki in the interview,” she said. “My alter-ego.” 

Yes, apparently Snooki and Nicole are two different people. She probably came up with that idea when she looked in the mirror one night and saw two different people.

Taye Diggs Appears on Kocktails with Khloe for Some Reason

According to contrasting recent reports, Kocktails with Khloe has either been renewed for another run of episodes…

… or it’s about to be canceled.

But while the long-term future of this FYI program is apparently up in the air, there is no debate over its short-term prospects.

Taye Diggs, David Arquette, Kat DeLuna and Katie O’Brien will appear this week as guests on Kocktails with Khloe.

Yes, Taye Diggs.

Unlike past panelists – such as Tyga and Scott Disick (and everyone else listed above) – who has little else to do in life, it’s unclear why Diggs agreed to take part in the show.

He’s one of the busiest actors in Hollywood, having come off roles in The Good Wife, Rosewood and Murder in the First in the last year-plus alone.

Why has he sunken to a low in which he’s Twerking alongside someone named Kat DeLuna in order to shake up their martinis? We may never know…

Kocktails with Khloe: 15 More Rounds Ordered!

Thank you, viewers. FYI will have another.

And another… and another… and another.

The network announced via press release today that it has ordered 15 additional episodes of Kocktails with Khloe, the talk show anchored by Khloe Kardashian that features her and a number of friends/loved ones just sitting around, talking about life and stuff.

The program debuted on January 20 as the highest-rated series premiere in network history across vital demographics. 

Explained Senior Vice President of Programming and Development, Gena McCarthy, in confirming the news:

Khloe and her iconic brand have struck a chord with FYI viewers, who have been extremely interactive with the show on social media.

“Her ability to draw upscale millennial viewers across all our platforms in record numbers is a game changer for FYI.”

The next installment will air this evening on FYI and include guests Tori Spelling, Ne-Yo, T-Pain, Sonja Morgan (The Real Housewives of New York City) and King Bach.

Adds Executive Producer and Pilgrim Media Group CEO, Craig Piligian:

“Khloé’s creativity, wit and work ethic make her a perfect host and an ideal partner for Pilgrim. We’re thrilled to continue working with Khloé and FYI as we further our unique spin on primetime talk.”

With this deal, Khloe has officially outlasted mother Kris Jenner, whose trainwreck of a daytime talk show lasted for a mere six episodes.

Kocktails with Khloe is a quasi talk show that airs on some random network.

It features our favorite Keeping Up with the Kardashians cast member sitting down for drinks and dinner with some of her close friends and loved ones.

We’re not really sure why anyone would tune in for it it when there are such alternatives out there as watching paint dry.

But, hey, it’s your life, people. Do what you want with it.

Kocktails with Khloe: Already Kanceled??

After debuting Wednesday evening to bleak reviews, rumor has it that Khloe Kardashian’s new talk show is being canceled after just one episode.

According to Star magazine, an insider from the FYI network, home to Kocktails with Khloe, discloses that Khloe is having trouble finding guests to appear on the show, and frankly, is kinda failing as a host.

“Khloe is fighting a losing battle with this show. Between the lack of celebrity star power, dismal publicity and her not exactly being the greatest host, things aren’t looking good.”

EEK. 

“Even if she did scrounge up some quality guests, who wants to watch people sit around and drink?” added a second source.

“Everyone becomes sloppy and dysfunctional by the end of the show, leaving viewers to question why they turned it on in the first place.”

Are you kidding? That sounds like AMAZING television to me.

Critics have lambasted the show, describing it as “komplete krap,” and a “miserable mishmash of fast talking and kwik kamera kuts that was as difficult to follow as a gum-popping waitress in a loud bar.”

Unfortunately, the show appeared to be doomed before it even started. 

Kocktails has struggled to garner any public interest after its trailer attracted minimal views and reports surfaced early on about her challenge to book guests.

The first episode featured guests Brandi Glanville, Aisha Tyler, Kim Whitley and Kendall Jenner. 

I understand that Khloe’s got her famous family members to call on in a pinch, but resorting to Kendall for the very first episode is not a good sign.

Kocktails with Khloe Review: It"s Komplete Krap!

Look, we love you, Khloe Kardashian.

It may be a relative comparison, but you are by far our favorite Kardashian.

So it gives us no pleasure to pass along a review of Kocktails with Khloe – the talk show that premiered on FYI Wednesday night – that described the program as “komplete krap.”

So wrote The New York Daily News, which went on to say that Kocktails with Khloe was a “miserable mishmash of fast talking and kwik kamera kuts that was as difficult to follow as a gum-popping waitress in a loud bar.”

The premiere guests for Khloe’s filmed dinner party were Aisha Tyler, Brandi Glanville, Kym Whitley, Snoop Dogg and Kendall Jenner.

At one point, Khloe lamented the double standard that exists between men and women who get separated.

“During my separation, I’m like, ‘OK, I’ve been waiting for this divorce to go through, but I’m going to date someone.

“For women, you’re so judged, and everyone’s saying, ‘She’s still married and still dating,’ and I’m like, ‘Why can men do this?’

“Or during someone’s marriage, if they cheat or whatever, no one throws stones at them; why am I cast as some jezebel?”

At another point, Kendall prank-called Kim Kardashian to tell her that she’s pregnant… and Kim didn’t really seem to care very much.

At another point, Khloe at least got Brandi to admit that she did not quit The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills

She was fire.

“They didn’t ask me back full time,” Brandi said. “I was really counting on the paycheck.”

We also learned that Snoop Dogg, back in 2004, stopped smoking marijuana for 180 days.

Khloe, however, did not press the rapper on his quote last year that Caitlyn Jenner is a science project.

Which is too bad. Because that would have at least made for interesting television.

Khloe Kardashian, that is, in case we weren"t being clear.

The reality star previously teased her upcoming Web program by sitting inside a martini glass, but now we know the reason why she was sitting inside said martini glass:

It was part of the following trailer, which Khloe debuted via her Twitter account this week.

What can fans expect from the eight-episode show, which premieres on January 20 on something called FYI?

“A little too many cocktails and you play these fun drinking games and you just start spewing out the craziest stories, and that’s what the talk show is based around," Kardashians explains in the teaser.

"It’s based around one of the dinner parties I have at my house.”

Sounds like fun!

Unfortunately, recent rumors say no one really wants to attend these filmed dinner parties. But whatever.

We"d totally sit back and watch Khloe get sloshed all by herself, wouldn"t you?

It can"t go any worse than her stint as host of The X-Factor Season 1, can it?

Previously, of course, Kris Jenner hosted a talk show that lasted for only a handful of episodes and which may go down as the worst thing to ever air on television… and that includes the sitcom 2 Broke Girls!

So Khloe"s mom was at least kind enough to set the bar VERY low.

We"ll be curious to see if Khloe can rise above it.

Kocktails with Khloé Premiere Date: Announced!

Khloe Kardashian is a busy woman these days.

She’s caring for Lamar Odom. She’s releasing a memoir. She’s preparing to star in Keeping Up with the Kardashians Season 11.

Oh, and she’s hosting a new television show.

As previously announced, the reality star will anchor Kocktails with Khloé on FYI, a website that is located at fyi.tv that says it “embraces an adventurous, personalized and non-prescriptive approach to peoples’ taste, space, look, story and more.”

Sounds like it’s right up Khloe’s alley to us.

We say this because we assume it will pay her money for hosting.

According to a press release, the series will premiere Wednesday, January 20 at 10 EST.

It will be filmed inside a Los Angeles studio, which will be made to resemble an “intimate home environment.”

There will be a functional kitchen on hand, along with a dining area and living spaces.

Each episode will feature a celebrity guest who joins Khloe in the kitchen and who sits around the table for a lively dinner party with the host, engaging in conversation while cooking, playing party games and, of course, enjoying some cocktails Kocktails.

Previously, Khloe completely bombed as co-host of The X Factor, while mother Kris Jenner bombed as host of her own talk show.

But third time is the charm? Maybe? Possibly? We highly doubt it.

But this feels like an inappropriate time to make fun of Khloe Kardashian too much.
