Tarek and Christina El Moussa Mourn Death of Flip or Flop Contractor

Both Tarek El Moussa and Christina El Moussa have taken to social media in mourning of a loved one.

The same loved one, it turns out. 

On Friday, Frank Miller lost his battle with laryngeal cancer, passing away peacefully at an Orange County hospital in California.

The long-time contractor had worked closely with Tarek and Christina for years on Flip or Flop, the home renovation series that has been such a huge hit for HGTV.

In tribute to their late friend, the former couple shared memories of Frank and bid him farewell over the weekend.

“Good bye My dear friend Frank,” Tarek wrote, adding:

“I have always looked up to you and have respected you as a brother. You have touched not only myself and my family but thousands and thousands around the world.

“You have impacted so many lives with the fight inside your heart and soul…

“I will NEVER forget you and I hope to one day be as strong as you.”

“Now…don’t slack!” Tarek concluded. “I assume you are already working on remodeling heaven! Miss you buddy.”

Christina also sent a few thoughts Miller’s way.

“Frank since the day I met you I had the utmost respect for you,” she wrote.

Continued the popular HGTV personality:

“Hardworking and REAL. Always a pleasure to be around and always made me laugh. You fought your hardest!! You are so admired and respected by all who know you.

“God has a special place for you in Heaven. Love you and miss you.”

Tarek and Christina split up about a year ago.

They recently acknowledged their divorce and how far they’ve come in separate social media posts.

In May, the co-stars went public went the tale of Frank’s cancer diagnosis.

A GoFundMe account was sent up by Miller’s co-worker, Alison Diaz, that ended up raising over $ 31,000 to help Frank cover his medical treatments.

“As some of you know… he’s been fighting multiple cancers for many years, even while filming our show, and he’s still putting up the fight of his life,” Tarek wrote on Instagram at the time.

“The doctors told him a year ago he would not make it past 6 months, he’s proving them wrong, this man is a beast.”

Tarek, of course, has overcome two different cancer diagnoses himself.

The GoFundMe remains active, it should be noted.

Valerie Fairman Death: Teen Mom Cast and Fans React, Mourn 16 & Pregnant Star

News of Valerie Fairman"s death shocked the Teen Mom world today, as the 23-year-old"s passing sent shock waves across Twitter.

The former 16 & Pregnant cast member leaves behind a daughter, Nevaeh (Heaven spelled backwards), who is only seven years old.

Anton Yelchin: How Did Justin Timberlake Mourn Former Co-Star?

Anton Yelchin continues to be mourned and remembered by those who worked closely with the actor.

As previously reported, Yelchin died on Sunday morning after he got trapped between his car and a security gate on his own property.

Details on how this tragic accident took place are still being gathered, but it appears as if the actor passed away due to head and chest injuries.

His vehicle rolled toward him while Yelchin was standing near the gate, fatally pinning him between the two obstacles.

He was only 27 years old at the time.

Authorities, meanwhile, are looking into the Jeep Grand Cherokee at the center of this accident and attempting to determine whether a recall is in order due to a fault in the design.

Since his passing, many Hollywood stars have come out and expressed their deepest sympathies for Yelchin and his family.

And this now includes Justin Timberlake.

“Anton Yelchin. Genius actor. Amazing human being. Gone WAY too soon. May he rest in peace,” Timberlake Tweeted yesterday.

The singer starred alongside Yelchin in the 2006 movie Alpha Dog.

Yelchin is also best known for having played the title character in Charlie Bartlett and also portrayed Pavel Chekov in the rebooted Star Trek franchise.

The latest movie from that franchise, Star Trek: Beyond, comes out on July 22.

The cast and creators of these new Star Trek films, meanwhile, shared their heartbreak over the unexpected death of their costar in a message posted to social media soon after his passing.

It was written by director J.J. Abrams, who helmed 2009’s Star Trek and 2013 Star Trek: Into Darkness, and it reads as follows:

Anton was our little brother. But only by years; he was as wise and clever and intellectually curious as anyone we ever knew. His laugh was preposterous – you couldn’t hear it and not laugh yourself. He was funny, edgy, wild and talented beyond measure.

His focus and dedication was admirable, as was his love of family, friends, literature and music.

We loved Anton, at work or at play. We are all shocked and numb and devastated by the world’s loss of an extraordinary young man.

To his family, we send you our love during this impossible time.

We will miss Anton forever.

Once Upon a Time Fans Mourn Main Character Death

Death became a pretty major character on Once Upon a Time Season 5 Episode 11.

To close out its 2015 run, the ABC drama appropriately titled this installment “Swan Song,” using it to bid adieu to Colin O’Donoghue’s beloved Captain Hook.

Forever?

Only one thing will tell, and that’s time.

If this truly is farewell to Hook, he at least went out by sacrificing himself as the man he always wanted to be. He died a hero’s death.

And here’s how:

The sexy swashbuckler took the darkness into Excalibur, as Jennifer Morrison’s Emma Swan proceeded to drive the sword into her lover, ending his life.

So it certainly appears as if this is curtains for the Captain, but the new Underworld was introduced this week and we know that Hercules and Megara will soon be joining the fairy tale characters in Storybrooke.

“Can we have both #PapaHook and Captain Hook back from the Underworld or is that asking too much, #OUAT needs more Hooks @OnceABC,” wrote on Twitter user in response.

Another ‘shipper, meanwhile, also remains hopeful, writing on Twitter:

“Thank u @OnceABC for this incredible & beautiful love story! We can’t wait to see Emma save Hook! #CaptainSwan #OnceUponATime.”

Viewers have a very long time to wait and see if this dream becomes a reality.
