Cardi B: I"m Gonna Whup Nicki Minaj"s Ass When I See Her!
If you’ve been anywhere near social media the past couple days, then you’re probably already aware that Cardi B threw a shoe at Nicki Minaj at a New York Fashion Week event over the weekend.
Cardi left with a sizable bump on her forehead, and many hoped that would be the end of the matter.
It may be a while before we find out exactly what transpired between these two icons, but the conflict has the hip-hop world divided.
When queens go to war, it’s the peasants who suffer, and most are calling for a truce.
But of course, there are those who are still thoroughly enjoying the drama.
And sadly, it seems Cardi falls into the latter category.
According to a new report from TMZ, Cardi is spoiling for round two.
In fact, she’s reportedly told friends that she would happily whip a Louboutin at Nicki’s head again if given another chance.
Cardi says she was merely defending her family’s honor after Nicki questioned her parenting ability and spoke ill of her daughter.
On one of her “Queen Radio” broadcasts, Nicki flat-out denied after making such comments.
Of course, she also said Cardi would “die” if she continued talking trash, so that probably didn’t help the situation.
But it doesn’t really seem to matter what Nicki has to say at this point, anyway.
Cardi has made up her mind that Nicki is her enemy based on comments that were made before the Fashion Week altercation.
According to TMZ, Cardi was especially pissed off by Nicki’s comments that she needs an intervention.
Apparently, Cardi finds it hilariously ironic that Nicki — whose temper, she claims, is well-known within in the industry — would encourage her to seek help for anger issues.
Cardi cops to being the aggressor this time around, but she says Nicki is a notorious bully who finally got what was coming to her.
It’s anyone’s guess as to where things will lead from here.
But we think it’s safe to say this conflict will get worse before it gets better.

Nicki Minaj Threatens to Literally Murder Cardi B
On Friday night, Cardi B let her hands and fists do most of her talkng, as the artist allegedly approached Nicki Minaj at a party in New York City and hurled a shoe in her rival’s direction.
Now, a couple days after the dust has settled on this very public confrontation, Minaj has gone ahead and done some actual talking of her own.
With her mouth, we mean.
“The other night I was part of something so mortifying and so humiliating to go through in front of a bunch upper echelon… people who have their life together,” Minaj said during Monday’s installment of her Queen radio show on Apple Music’s Beats 1.
The fracas took place at a gathering sponsored by Harper’s Bazaar.
Insiders said shortly afterword that Cardi approached Minaj to talk about the latter spreading a bunch of “lies” about the former — and that the aforementioned high heel was thrown as Cardi was being pulled away by security.
“I was in a Gaultier gown – off the motherf-cing runway – and I could not believe how humiliated it all felt,” Nicki continued in response today.
What about the remarks Minaj supposedly uttered about Cardi’s baby’s daughter, Kulture, to which Cardi alluded in a recent Instagram statement?
“I would never discuss anyone’s child and it’s so sad for someone to pin that one me because I’m the bad guy and they know people would believe them,” Minaj continued on her broadcast today.
She added:
“Let me go on the record and say I would never talk about anyone’s child or parenting. It’s so crazy to me that people always need to make Onika the bad guy.
“If you’re right in whatever you’re doing, you don’t never have to make someone the bad guy.”
To reiterate, using her full name, Nicki emphasized:
“I just want people to know that Onika Tanya Maraj has never, will never… speak ill on anyone’s child. I am not a clown. That’s clown sh-t.
Almost immediately after her argument with Nicki went viral, Cardi wrote the following online:
“You’ve threatened other artists in the industry, told them if they work with me you’ll stop f-ckin with them!!
“I’ve worked hard and come too far to let anybody f-ck with my success!!!! Bitches talk about all that sh-t in they raps but in real life are pussy.”
Minaj, meanwhile, simply mocked Cardi B for feeling a need to justify herself in this sort of manner, saying on her show this afternoon:
“You knew that when that footage came out, you was about to look f-cking dumb … they hurried up and put out a statement. I’m such an ill ass bitch, I didn’t even feel the need to defend myself that night.”
Upon leaving the party Saturday morning, Minaj smiled for the crowd and blew kisses.
She didn’t seem at all bothered by what had transpired.
“The lord gave you a blessing of a beautiful bundle of joy and the only thing on your mind once you gave birth was to attack people and stop their bags?” Minaj went on in this case, addressing Cardi again and adding:
“Get this woman some f-cking help. This woman is at the best stage of her career, and she’s out here throwing bottles and throwing shoes? Get this woman an intervention!”
HA. We love it.
But Minaj concluded in a far more serious and menacing tone.

The beef started a few days ago after Scott’s new album debuted ahead of Minaj’s new album on the music charts.
Because it was better reviewed and comprised of stronger material?
HA! NO, argued Nicki.
Because Scott needed to use both his baby mama and his actual baby to promote the album, which Minaj found to be lame and cheap and pathetic.
Isn’t that right, Nicki?
Not content with sending the above Tweet, however, Minaj appeared on Tuesday’s episode of Queen Radio on Apple Music’s Beats 1 and once again went after Scott, his album Astroworld and her fellow rapper’s entire persona.
“What we’re not gonna do is have that auto-tune man selling f-cking sweaters telling you he sold half a million albums, because he f-cking didn’t,” Minaj exclaimed, prior to attacking Scott again for hiding behind Jenner:
“You stupid f-ck. You got your f-cking homeboy talking for you and you got your girlfriend selling tour passes. Stop it. Knock it the f-ck off.”
Come on, Nicki.
Stop beating around the bush and tell us how you really feel.
Minaj did say she has no real issue with Kylie herself, certainly none with baby Stormi and she even thinks Kim Kardashian is totally cool and fine.
But Scott?
“When [Travis] comes along and sells a tour pass that has nothing to do with his f-cking music and says he’s sold more than Kanye West and Nas – no you f-cking didn’t, keep it the f-ck real.
“I know I’m that bitch, I know I’m number one.”
This may be true in Nicki’s mind, but we just received word that she canceled her previously-scheduled North American tour with Future.
A statement from Live Nation reads that Minaj “has decided to reevaluate elements of production on the ‘NickiHndrxx Tour’” following her surprise performance Monday at the 2018 MTV Video Music Awards.”
But some out there believe Minaj was unable to sell enough tickets for the tour to make it profitable.
Nicki has not yet commented on this rumor or this decision herself, but she did clarify on air that she’s not as angry as she may seem.
“Having said that, none of this is some serious anger sh-t,” she said of her critique of Scott and how uses Kylie to market himself, concluding:
“No, we are in a time right now where black music is prospering.
“And I am one of the people who, I’m so excited to see where rap has come from and where we are. But right is right and wrong is wrong.”
Eh, whatever.
