Dina Manzo: Not Returning to The Real Housewives of New Jersey!

Dina Manzo officially thinks the West Coast is the best coast.

The 44-year-old mother, who recently launched her own skincare line, has confirmed in a new interview that she won’t be returning to The Real Housewives of New Jersey.

Due to her well-publicized and long-standing feud with sister-in-law Jacqueline Laurita?

Nope.

“I [live] in L.A.,” Manzo told Fox 411, explaining very simply how she is, literally, no longer a Real Housewife of the Garden State.

“I don’t live in New Jersey anymore. I went through my divorce this year [and] I moved out to California, so it didn’t make sense.”

While Bravo has not confirmed the statuses of any veteran cast members, Manzo claims that the network did want her back for the show’s seventh season… which will focus on the ridiculous journey of Teresa Guidice now that she’s out of prison.

“Of course, they asked me back,” she told Fox.

“I thought about it for a minute, and I thought ‘How am I supposed to do this? I don’t live there.’ I have an apartment here in Manhattan but I don’t live in New Jersey, so I don’t see how that could work.”

We mean… it wouldn’t exactly be the first time this Bravo franchise stretched the truth in order to fit a storyline.

Manzo finalized her divorce husband Tommy Manzo in February. (Their nuptials had actually been part of VH1’s My Big Fat Fabulous Wedding.)

Manzo is currently dating 35-year old businessman David Cantin.

But wait… couldn’t Manzo now appear on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills or The Real Housewives of Orange County?!?

Maybe. Conceivable. Based on her address, sure.

But she concludes by saying that she doesn’t want any part of reality television any longer.

“It wasn’t what I thought I was getting myself into, and I realized that.” she says.

“I’m kind of the person that if it’s not comfortable and it doesn’t fit who I am, I walk. You have to be happy and if it doesn’t sit well with your soul, you have to listen to that.”

So… who will be a full-time cast member when you go to watch The Real Housewives of New Jersey online for Season 7?

Stay tuned. Find out!

Purple Rain Returning to Theaters as Tribute to Prince

Prince fans can now relive the magic of Purple Rain on the big screen.

The semi-autobiographical rock drama starring Prince can be seen for a limited time at select AMC Theaters starting today.

Purple Rain tells the story of a young musician, “The Kid” (Prince), and his rise to stardom through the clubs in Minneapolis.

The Kid is a misunderstood albeit genius artist who grapples with abusive parents, a budding relationship with a new singer and rival band Morris Day and the Time.

The film, first released in 1984, is a must-see (or a must-see again) for any Prince fan, as it gives keen insights into who the man was as an individual.

It brought us one of the greatest soundtracks of all time, featuring indelible tracks such as “When Doves Cry,” “Let’s Go Crazy,” “I Would Die 4 U,” and, of course, “Purple Rain.”

With Purple Rain, Prince was the first artist to ever have the top movie, album and single at the same time.

The film earned $ 80 million at the box office and is expected to rake in many more during its temporary run in the coming week.

Prince Rogers Nelson died Thursday morning in his Minnesota home at the age of 57.

An autopsy was conducted yesterday, but an official cause of death may not be known for weeks pending toxicology results.

The Carver County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that no foul play was suspected and does not believe Prince’s death was a suicide.

TMZ reported that Prince had been treated for an overdose of Percoset just six days before his death when his plane made an emergency landing to administer a “save shot,” which is said to counter the effects of opiates.

It is unknown whether drugs played a role in the music legend’s untimely death.

Purple Rain can be seen throughout the country at select AMC theaters from Saturday, April 23 through Thursday, April 28.

The Hollywood Reporter provides a complete listing of theaters.

Kim Richards: Desperate for Cash? Returning to The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills?

It’s not surprising that emotions ran high at last night’s taping of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills reunion show.

What is a bit surprising, however, is the fact that not all of the drama surrounded Yolanda Foster and her many feuds, as the ladies were reportedly stunned when a familiar face made an unexpected appearance on set.

If you watch The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills online, you know that Kim Richards only made a few appearances this season, so it’s somewhat surprising that she showed up for for the reunion special.

According to Radar Online, Kim didn’t have to think twice about making a cameo, as she’s broke and desperate to re-join the cast

“Kim was paid to do the reunion, so she agreed to do it,” says one insider. “She wanted to be paid to do Andy Cohen’s Watch What Happens Live last week, but was told no.”

Yes, considering her many Richards many legal woes and recent stint in a high-end rehab facility, it’s not surprising that Richards is hard-up for cash.

Fortunately for her, in an ironic twist of fate, the same issues that drove her to rock bottom might help her win her old job back.

Her problems may be sad, but they make for compelling television, a fact that the show’s producers are well aware of.

Jill and Jessa Duggar: Returning to TLC With New Series!

Back in December, Jill and Jessa Duggar starred in a limited-run TLC series entitled Jill and Jessa: Counting On.

Many believed that the show was being treated as a test run to see if viewers would give the evangelical Duggar clan a second chance following the horrific Josh Duggar sex scandals of last year.

Now it seems that TLC execs were more than satisfied with the audience response to Jill and Jessa’s 3-episode spinoff, as the Duggars are returning to TV full-time beginning next month.

Producers have decided not to mess with a successful formula, and the new series will also be called Jill & Jessa: Counting On.

Despite rumors that the show would focus on Jana Duggar and other, less famous members of the 19 Kids and Counting clan, Jill and Jessa will reportedly remain at the center of the series.

As you can see in the trailer above, the new series will feature the other Duggar siblings as well, and will not gloss over the scandals that shook the family to its foundations over the past several months.

Jana, Jinger, Joy Anna, John David, Josiah, Joseph Duggar, and Josh’s wife Anna Duggar have all filmed scenes for the show already, according Us Weekly.

The new version of Counting On is set to debut on TLC on March 15.

Duggar Family: Officially Returning to TV?!

It’s been six months since TLC canceled 19 Kids and Counting in the wake of the Josh Duggar sex scandals, and it now looks as though the network has officially decided to give the family another chance.

No, we’re not talking about Jill & Jessa: Counting On – the limited, three-part series that appeared on the network last month and focused on the two newlywed Duggar daughters.

There are now reports that the whole Duggar family (probably minus Josh) will be returning to television, possibly in a new version of the show that made them famous.

The Duggar Family News Facebook page has confirmed rumors that Jim Bob, Michelle, and their massive brood were recently joined by a camera crew during an outing to an Arkansas lumber yard.

“The Duggars were seen filming at a lumber yard last week in their area,” the report reads. “Yes, filming. They spent three hours there and bought some lumber.”

It may not sound like the most entertaining scene in the world, but that’s what exactly what makes this news so interesting.

Counting On focused on high drama, such as the birth of Jessa Duggar’s first child, and Anna Duggar tearfully speaking out about Josh for the first time.

19 Kids focused much more on the everyday chores and challenges that come with living in a household of 21, and it sounds like the family is returning to that sort of programming.

When reached for a comment by Deadline, TLC exec Nancy Daniels stopped just short of confirming that the Duggars will be making a comeback.

“We just aired a three-part special before the holidays that did very well. We had over 3 million viewers. The audience cares about these girls,” Daniels said.

“We’re still talking and considering it, but we have not made a decision yet.”

Sounds like you can count on an official announcement sometime in the near future, but the network still has big decisions to make:

For example, how will it deal with the inevitable Duggar protestors, and will the new show address the all-important issue of Josh and his ugly past?

Brandi Glanville"s Awesome Reason For Returning to RHOBH

Wait a minute…is she coming or going?

Brandi Glanville showed up at the W Hollywood last night for The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ season six premiere party (why the party was held two days after the show’s premiere is anyone’s guess).

Either Glanville can’t make up her mind or Andy Cohen & Co. are screwing us around, because we can’t figure out if Glanville is back on the show or just felt like showing up to the party.

We do know that Glanville has shot a few upcoming scenes with Yolanda Foster and Kim Richards, and the reason she agreed to filming was plain and simple.

Money” she told People on the red carpet.

Glanville was just as offended by Kyle Richards’ and Lisa Vanderpump’s attitudes towards Foster on December 1st’s premiere episode; both were critical of Foster’s appearance when she attended Lisa Rinna’s birthday dinner without wearing makeup.

“#Rhobh tonight was both mean and boring,” Glanville tweeted.

“Breathe breathe …” she wrote soon after.  “So If you fuck with @YolandaHFoster you fuck with me!She is prettier than all the women on the cast ten fold inside &out.”

Glanville is currently filming a new reality series, Famously Single for E! alongside Pauly D, Aubrey O’Day and Calum Best, whom she’s been linked to recently (and has denied).

Teresa Giudice: Banned From Returning to Television By Prison Officials?

Sometime in the next two months, Teresa Giudice will be released from prison.

The disgraced Housewife has been planning her return to public life since before she got locked up, but while she’ll likely be released ahead of schedule, every other part of her comeback plan is falling to pieces.

The Real Housewives of New Jersey spinoff miniseries entitled Teresa Checks In has been tanking in the ratings, and it seems viewers just aren’t as interested in Teresa and her troubles as Bravo had hoped.

Fortunately, Teresa has already reached a lucrative deal to return to the series that made her famous. Unfortunately, it looks like prison officials might prevent Teresa from filming scenes for RHONJ for at least two months after her release.

Radar Online is reporting that Teresa will be put on house arrest until February of 2016 after her release. She was reportedly okay with the arrangement until she learned recently that she may not be permitted to have reality TV cameras in her home.

“It looks like Teresa might not be able to film while she is under house arrest” says one insider. “The Bureau of Prisons has to sign off on it, and no decision has been made.”

So it looks like we may have to wait until the spring of 2016 to see Mrs. Giudice on camera.

Fortunately, Teresa fans (if such a thing exists) won’t have to wait that long for a dose of Tre. Her memoir – Turning the Tables: From Housewife to Inmate and Back Again – is set to be released on February 9.

Get it? Turning the Tables? Because she likes to flip tables? Hey, at least she hasn’t lost her sense of humor!

Porsha Williams" Boyfriend -- I"m Returning My Porsha

Z STAFF

EXCLUSIVE

0925-porsha-instagram-01The ‘Real Housewives‘ shows have a big problem … they build their seasons around romances that blow up before the shows air.

Porsha Williams is the latest R.H. star who happily filmed burgeoning love that flamed out. She hooked up with Buffalo Bills star Duke Williams and they cavorted for season 6 shows, but when the cameras stopped rolling they stopped too, only after a few months of dating.

The problem … viewers know the relationship is history, so the storyline doesn’t ring true.

Porsha doesn’t have a problem scoring a touchdown on the playing field … she just can’t hold out for the win.

It also happened on “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,” when Brandi Glanville dated a real estate agent but they were dunzo before the shows aired.

Maybe it’s better this way … most of them get divorced anyway.
