Amber Rose: Kanye West Nearly Drove Me to Suicide

Amber Rose sat down this week with Complex News, holding nothing at all back when it came to Kanye West, Blac Chyna, Rob Kardashian and a number of other personal issues.

First, Amber touched on the period of her life after West released “My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy,” an album on which many songs were written about Rose.

The model, of course, became a mostly household name as the result of her romance with the rapper.

“All that I got from him was fame. I had to just take that L, take that heartbreak on top of it,” she says in this interview, going on more detail about the fallout from their split:

“That is an extreme form of bullying as well, to have such a huge voice to put out an album, to say whatever the fuck you want.”

That’s an interesting take, referring to break-up anthems as “bullying.”

It’s an accusation Taylor Swift has sort of faced in the past as well.

“During that time, it was not a great time for me because I’m famous, I’m broke, I can’t date anybody else, I can’t say anything on the Internet because Kanye has such a voice,” she said, dropping the biggest bombshell of the Q&A next:

“If I was to kill myself, I would have done it during those times.”

YIKES, right?

We’re glad Rose never went down that path.

“I’m the one that has been heartbroken,” Rose said. “I still have never said anything mean about Kanye, this is after six/seven years of constant bullying from him.”

What about their social media feud in January of 2016?

After Kanye called out her son Sebastian, who she shares with ex-husband Wiz Khalifa?

Rose said she had no choice but to speak out then… and she did so in rather epic fashion.

“I could have got a reality show just off the fact that I was his girlfriend,” Rose tells Complex.

“I could have wrote a book just off the fact that I was his girlfriend. I said, ‘You know what? I’m a real ass bitch. I’mma take the high road and work my ass off, and I’m going to get everything I get on my own, so nobody can be like, ‘Yo, I gave her that."”

Elsewhere, Rose was asked about Rob and Chyna and the revenge porn mess that those two find themselves in after Kardashian snapped a few weeks ago.

Initially, she defended their romance, which many have believed to have been contrived from the beginning.

“They both wanted to have Dream, it wasn’t a mistake,” she said of the romance.

“Chyna was with Rob, she had a baby with him, they both wanted Dream, a beautiful baby. Shit didn’t work out and she opted to leave.

“She did not want to be in that situation anymore, and that made people uncomfortable.”

What advice would she have given Rob after they broke up and then Chyna moved on with another

“Rob should have been a mature adult and had a conversation with Chyna and been like, ‘You know what Chyna, I’m very frustrated, I feel like you used me,"” Amber explained.

“And she could have then said, ‘You know what? I didn’t, I actually cared about you, but I’m not trying to be in this situation with you anymore.”

In conclusion, Rose says of Kardashian:

“He didn’t have to go on the internet and be petty, and now he’s dealing with revenge porn.

“You can’t do shit like that. It’s time to grow up and handle your business properly. You have a kid that’s going to forever see that shit.”

Well, yeah.

But good luck getting that message across to Rob Kardashian.

Amber Rose: Settling Down ... With Whom?!?

To say Amber Rose is one of the most provocative celebrities around would be the understatement of the century. 

When she’s not starting movements on Instagram to get women to show off their platinum vagines (thanks for that one, Corrine!), she’s starting feuds on Twitter with celebrities. 

With that in mind, it comes as a huge surprise we’re now hearing the former stripper is ready to settle down with the new man in her life. 

That new man is 21 Savage, and Amber has apparently been seeing every single day since first meeting “several weeks ago.” 

Rose has even introduced 21 Savage to her family and four-year-old son Sebastian. Word on the street is that 21 Savage “bonded” with Sebastian. 

Also, Amber has met up with her new boyfriend’s mother and cousins. 

So, Amber must be at least serious about finding love, and we’re actually very happy for her … if only for the potential for it all to go up in flames and give us some great material to work with down the line. 

Take note, Amber. 

Kidding aside, we don’t even know if she was actively seeking love, but sometimes that’s when love is found, so maybe Amber is holding on to it. 

Somehow, people tend to comment on age gaps in the celebrity world. With an 11-year age gap between them, Amber is not worrying one bit about it. 

In fact, she seems to think age is irrelevant and a double standard. When you think about, she does have a point. It’s not like Amber to think things through. 

If she did, she would not put half of the crap on Instagram she does these days. 

We are very surprised by these developments and wish Amber well in her journey with her new squeeze. It should be interesting to see whether they make it all the way to marriage. 

Could you imagine Amber Rose married? We sure could not. Maybe 21 Savage likes how controversial she is. She’s a hot woman. That’s for sure. 

Is she marriage material?

Amber Rose: I Haven"t Had Sex Since ...

Amber Rose flashed her full bush on Instagram, so it shouldn’t be a surprise to anyone that she doesn’t shy away from talking about her sex life.

But this definitely qualifies as more information than anybody asked for.

Honestly, some folks might find Amber Rose’s latest statement about sex a little too relatable.

So, Amber Rose shared a pretty straightforward meme on Instagram, featuring the words:

“When it’s six months into 2017 and you still haven’t been f–ked yet.”

Some memes are pretty cryptic (or neo-dadaist).

But those words accompanied by a crying woman’s face are about as straightforward as it gets.

That said, a meme lamenting a sexual dry spell is admittedly not what many people would expect from a woman whose pubic hair we’ve all seen so very, very recently.

But Amber Rose explains in her captions, in case anyone thinks that she’s just getting a chuckle in between rounds of sex with, like, a pair of fitness models

Or whatever people imagine that she does to spend her time.

(Even though Amber Rose’s only threesome was relatively recent and not really her thing)

“When the world thinks you have Orgies all day and mad dudes because ur sexually confident and body positive,” her caption begins.

“But really you’re a full-time mom/ businesswoman and literally have no time for penis #hoeislife tho”

We guess that life as a sex-positive MILF isn’t all that it’s cracked up to be?

No, but really, Amber Rose is a mom and a businesswoman.

That bottomless photo wasn’t an outtake from a sex tape — that was a photograph.

She was working.

She’s not, like, a space princess from some 1970s scifi fever-dream, lounging about in a pleasure palace while loincloth-clad men attend to her.

(That would be a great photoshoot concept, though)

But yeah, even on top of work, you have to remember that the M in MILF is its own full-time job.

For anyone confused about why she’d refer to herself as a hoe, it’s just part of reclaiming words that have been used to demean women for doing the things that earn men praise.

After all, “slut” and “stud” are often used to mean the same thing, but with wildly different connotations.

Some might suggest that she has no claim to those words after a six-month dry spell.

But, as a friend of mine once wisely reminded me: “There’s no wrong way to be a slut.”

In other words, #hoelife is at least as much about state of mind as it is about notches in your proverbial bedpost.

Good for Amber for reminding the world that you don’t ever lose your hoe cred.

Amber Rose and Piers Morgan: FEUDING Over Her Nude Photo!

So, you remember how Amber Rose flashed her bush to the world via Instagram?

Well now Piers Morgan is trying to feud with her because he craves negative attention doesn’t think that she’s a real feminist.

Though Instagram quickly deleted the image, everyone had of course already seen it.

Which was exactly what she wanted — because Amber’s nudity wasn’t without purpose.

In addition to just raising awareness for her SlutWalk, she had a specific and powerfully feminist message in mind:

“Amber Rose challenge anyone? Lol post your version of my picture and hashtag #amberroseslutwalk on behalf of feminism, body positivity and not conforming to society norms of how we should live, what we should wear and where we should shave.”

Piers Morgan wasn’t feeling it, and decided to express that in a super condescending way:

“Put it away, luv. Thanks.”

After Amber called him out for being an obvious misogynist, he seemed to get even angrier.

“It’s not ‘misogyny’ to think that posting nude photos in the supposed name of feminist empowerment is pathetic attention-seeking bulls**t.”

So, nothing that we haven’t heard from him before. 

When Amber questioned if he was simply off-put by her pubic hair, he clarified.

“I can handle your naked body, Amber — relax. I just can’t handle your ridiculous claim to be stripping off in the name of feminism.”

We don’t know how long it will take for him and others like him to get it through their thick skulls that a major component of feminism is doing what you want with your own body.

If you’re an adult and you want to wear a bikini or share your nudes or go topless on the beach or do anything else with your flesh prison that doesn’t hurt anybody, nobody else has ownership over you.

And that also means that you can wear a hijab or a burka if you’re so inclined.

It means that you can have sex with a thousand partners or with zero. Your body belongs to you.

Poor Piers doesn’t seem to get it, because he continued to defend his position.

“I just find this new trend of famous women posting nude photos & pretending it’s to ‘promote feminism’ utterly laughable.”

Well, Amber Rose was promoting SlutWalk, a transnational feminist movement to end rape culture — including slut-shaming.

And her photo was literally promoting it. There’s no ambiguity there.

Finally, Piers Morgan says something that’s actually true.

“‘The only way for a woman to succeed in life is to post nude photos of themselves to millions of strangers’ — said no true feminist ever.”

That is accurate, in that no true feminist would say something so ridiculous.

Because, again, there are countless ways for women to succeed in life, and only a few of them involve sharing their nudes with the public.

We’ll never understand Piers Morgan’s pathological obsession with controlling what women do with their bodies, but, like most people, we’ll just try our best to ignore it.

Piers Morgan seems to make a habit of feuding with famous feminist women, even daring to malign Beyonce.

Though he at least had the decency to eventually apologize to Ariana Grande. 

We all know why he takes aim at the likes of JK Rowling and Kim Kardashian, and it’s more than just misogyny (though clearly also that).

He just wants attention.

We don’t just say that because he’s a nasty, justifiably reviled fellow who craves attention and apparently doesn’t care if it’s negative.

He also just wants ratings, like everyone else on television.

Feuds bring attention.

Unfortunately, even within feminism — like, actual feminists, not Piers Morgan — there are those who are opposed to sex-positive feminism like Amber’s.

Why? It depends.

Some see sex-positivity among women as being more about them being appealing to men and still abiding by patriarchal beauty standards.

They forget that all sorts of women can be sex-positive, including lesbians, whose sex-positivity definitely isn’t to benefit men.

They also forget that those same patriarchal values often shame people for engaging in sex outside of certain contexts — usually marriage — so yes, having sex can absolutely be a feminist statement.

There are feminists who disagree with sex-positivity because they believe that it’s harmful to people who choose to be reserved about sex and also to asexuals.

These feminists have a point, because sex-positivity is worthless if you don’t consider all choices that women might make for themselves about sex.

Similarly, it would be hypocritical for someone to “yasss” over a topless selfie but then rail against a woman who chooses to wear a niqab.

The “my body, my choice” thing goes in every direction, every time. There are a few feminists who forget this.

But Amber Rose doesn’t — her advocacy may have a lot to do with nudity and sex, but it’s clear that her feminism includes everybody.

Admittedly, we were a little uncomfortable with her “bring back the bush” caption that she shared at one point while discussing her photo.

As Ashley Graham reminds us, personal grooming is a personal choice.

But we don’t really think that Amber Rose is pushing women to make the same choice that she does with what does or does not decorate their genitals.

She’s just pushing for a little more acceptance, because she knows that pubic hair is less fashionable these days and she wants young women to know that it’s okay to not shave or wax if you don’t want to.

Regardless of your personal tastes, you know that it’s an important message.

Like any political statement, Amber’s post was divisive on a number of levels, even if we ignore Piers Morgan’s willful ignorance.

Not everybody’s going to see eye-to-eye on everything.

One area where we can probably all agree: we haven’t seen the last of Amber Rose and her super hot photos.

Amber Rose on Instagram: Check Out My Bush!

Amber Rose shared a photo of her vagina on Instagram Friday night.

We’re not being crude or hyperbolic.

That’s simply what happened: the model posted for a picture without anything at all covering her most private of parts.

The extraordinarily Not Safe for Work (or Wife!) image was meant to promote the star’s third annual SlutWalk.

It featured the 33-year old lying on her back on a staircase, only a black fur coat and bikini top covering the upper areas of her body.

But that’s a lot more than what was covering Rose’s lower body; which was a big, fat NOTHING WHATSOEVER.

Completely naked from the waist down, Rose put her ample pubic hair on full display for the camera.

She shared it on Instagram and on Twitter, captioning the very racy picture with “”#amberroseslutwalk” on the latter platform.

Instagram quickly deleted the photograph under its no-nudity policy, but this is the Internet. Nothing ever truly gets deleted once it goes live.

We’ve censored the most sensitive aspect of the image (that is, a bush that would make Ashley Graham proud) below, but here’s a pretty good idea of the treat Rose offered to her followers just a few hours ago:

The third annual SlutWalk is scheduled for October 1 at Los Angeles’ Pershing Square.

In a statement written on the event’s official website, organizers explain how the this gathering is meant to raise awareness about gender inequality.

Reads the site:

“This event is a zero-tolerance event, and we do not condone hateful language, racism, sexism, ableism, fat-shaming, transphobia or any other bigotry.

“Further, we recognize shaming, oppression, assault, and violence have disproportionately affected marginalized groups, including women of color, transgender people and sex workers, and we are actively working to center these groups at our events.”

Rose, who has never exactly been shy about flaunting her body, has not taken the full, UNcensored picture off of her Twitter page.

Nor has Twitter taken any steps to remove it.

We’re not about the share such an X-rated picture here, but you can visit Rose’s Twitter account if you wish to see what all the fuss and sexual excitement is about for yourself.

Aware of the buzz surrounding this photo, Rose posted the following meme on Instagram in response to users commenting about the non-Brazilian nature of her you-know-what.

It’s pretty funny:

Twitters users mostly seem to be in support of Rose’s decision here, although some question how a mother of a four-year old son could dare do such a thing.

Simply put, “Amber rose is disgusting I feel so sorry for her son,” wrote one critic.

But others saw the photo for the first time while watching the Cavs blow out the Warriors in the NBA Finals, referencing both events in messages such as the ones below:

The Bachelorette: Will First Impression Rose Win Streak Continue!?

The Bachelorette’s streak of First Impression Rose winners from the premiere going on to win the show remarkably stands at … well, two.

But those are the only two to do it!

Will this season’s lucky fella make it a threepeat? (The Bachelorette spoilers have a lot to say on that, but we’ll keep you in suspense.)

For a time, this first rose of the new season was more like a kiss of death than a harbinger of success, but that’s changed since 2014.

Nick Viall came close, winning Andi Dorfman’s First Impression Rose in Season 10 before coming oh-so-close to winning the finale.

The next season, Shawn Booth became the first recipient of the inaugural rose to capture the final one, as well, from Kaitlyn Bristowe.

(Also defeating Nick on the finale.)

This had never been accomplished before, but last summer, Jordan Rodgers won the first and last roses on JoJo Fletcher’s season.

Can Rachel Lindsay make it three in a row? Or more accurately, can Bryan Abasolo, who caught her eye on last Monday’s premiere?

Booth, who remains engaged to Bristowe two summers after their on-air engagement, says he wouldn’t bet on that outcome.

“The guy that got the first impression rose … I’m willing to bet a lot of money that he will not be the winner of the season,” he predicted.

“Jordan [Rodgers] got the first impression rose on JoJo Fletcher’s season, I got the first impression rose the season before.”

“We both went on to ‘win.’ Do you think that there’s any chance that the producers will let that happen again? There’s no way.”

Really?

There’s no way the show’s producers would allow Rachel Lindsay’s free will to follow through if she found love at first sight?

Seems a little extreme. If you feel a connection right away, there’s probably a reason for that. It might not last … but it also might last!

It’s unclear why Shawn seems to think producers wouldn’t permit this, especially for a stand-up guy like Bryan Abasolo seems to be.

If this were Lucas a.k.a. Whaboom, or DeMario Jackson, that would be one thing, but Bryan could well be who Rachel Lindsay picks.  

Not that he’s a lock.

“I like that guy from Wisconsin … Peter,” says Booth, referring to Peter Kraus, who really stood out from the competition this week.

“He was great,” added Bristowe. “That’s because they played the romantic music when he came out, so all of a sudden we’re brainwashed.”

On their podcast, Kaitlyn and Shawn admit that watching their love story unfold on TV was awkward … but they love seeing other people’s!

Picking and choosing this season’s contenders and pretenders and trying to predict who will win The Bachelorette like we do is just fun.

Which category does Lucas fit in? “Whaboom is so happy we’re talking about him,” says Kait. “He is so happy the world is talking about him.”

“I feel like that’s why he went there.”

“He’s selling t-shirts,” says Booth.

“I’ll buy one,” Bristowe adds.

They may be onto something there. Going on reality TV for the exposure and a chance to make a living, rather than to find true love?

Who would’ve guessed.

Beyonce: How DARE Amber Rose Mess with Me Right Now!

This is a beautiful time in Beyonce’s life. She’s due to give birth to her twins any minute now, she’s as beloved as ever …

And Amber Rose, of all people, had the nerve to try to rain on her parade.

Earlier this week, Amber tweeted a message that read “Hey @Beyonce I got a secret. I am Becky with the Short Hair. #iaintsorry #muvalemonade.”

She’s referring, of course, to Beyonce’s legendary Lemonade album, and her “Becky with the good hair” lyric — this Becky apparently being Jay Z’s alleged mistress.

After the album was released, fans went crazy trying to track down Becky. Fashion designer Rachel Roy was a suspect, as was Rita Ora.

But Amber here is saying that she’s the woman Jay Z had his rumored affair with … classy, right?

It really, really is not.

After the Beyhive came down hard on Amber, she deleted the tweet and made a strange video claiming that she’d been hacked, but she didn’t seem all that sincere about it.

If we had to guess, we’d say she felt the need to make a joke to get herself a bit of attention and it backfired.

And according to a source who spoke to Hollywood Life, Beyonce herself isn’t too thrilled by Amber’s antics.

The source claims that Beyonce is “furious” about the tweet because people keep asking her about it “and the timing is the worst.”

“She’s in her last trimester with the twins and not supposed to be having any kind of stress,” the insider explains, but “not she’s got to deal with people whispering” about her husband hooking up with Amber Rose.

“She’s trying to keep calm, but it’s upsetting. The last thing any wife wants is to picture their husband with another woman.”

“Beyonce hopes it was just a hack like Amber said,” the source continues, “but she doesn’t necessarily buy that excuse.”

“She thinks it was done for attention and that’s just shameful.”

Isn’t it though?

“Amber should know better,” the insider concludes, “she’s a mother too, it’s just a horrible thing to do.”

We’re with Beyonce — it really does seem like Amber is just doing this for attention. It wouldn’t be the first time she went out of her way to get people to talk about her.

There’s a small chance that she actually could be Becky. She did date Kanye back when he and Jay Z were close.

But let’s be real: what’s the most likely scenario here?

On Wednesday night, the model and television personality dared to rattle the Beyhive, implying strongly on Instagram that she slept with Jay Z.

While he was married to Beyonce.

Oh, yes, Rose said that she’s Becky with the Good Hair.

To be specific and accurate, Rose actually said she’s Becky with the Short Hair.

But she also addressed Beyonce directly… said she wasn’t “sorry” for her actions…  and added that she was admitting a “secret.”

Becky with the Good Hair, of course, is the name Beyonce gave her husband’s alleged mistress while singing about Jay Z’s rumored cheating on the album “Lemonade.”

The Internet exploded soon afterward with speculation over the heck this woman could be.

Rose is by far the most famous individual to come out and imply she’s the side piece with whom Jay Z carried on his affair.

Not long after doing so, however, she felt the wrath of Beyonce’s passionate fan base and deleted the Twitter message above.

She also deleted a message in which she put Tyga on major blast, writing:

Dear Tyga ever since you left Blac Chyna your music has been [trash emojis] it’s always been trash just more than usual.

Shortly afterward, Rose offered up the most half-hearted apology you’ll ever see, claiming that her Instagram account had been hacked:

This is not the first time Rose has gotten in trouble for commenting on Beyonce.

In an interview with The Daily Beast, she once said the following, after being slut-shamed online:

“So if we could sing, it would be OK if we were on stage half-naked. We all love Beyoncé, but she’s on stage half-naked and twerking all the time, yet people say, oh, she has talent so she’s able to do that.

“We don’t have the talent that Beyoncé has, so we get criticized as former sex workers, but at the end of the day we’re just women – we’re all women – and we should all embrace each other.

“No one is greater. We’re all the same.”

In this case, Rose was trying to simply make the point that women ought not to be judged for wearing a revealing outfit, as she often has been.

If the world can look past Beyonce doing so, simply because she’s singing well on stage at the time, they should look past Rose doing so on Instagram.

But if you come at Beyonce in any way, you best be prepared for the consequences.

Was Rose really Becky with the Good Hair?

She dated Kanye West back in the day, of course, so she does know Jay Z very well, considering how close he is to West.
