KUWTK Recap: Kim Kardashian Brings Her Surrogate to Meet Her Family
Keeping Up With The Kardashians fans got to watch Khloe learn what gender baby she"s expecting and got to watch Kourtney deal with her endless boy drama despite being a grown mother of three.
But Kim"s storyline — aside from reacting to Kourtney"s situation — had to do with her surrogate.
Before Chicago West was born, Kim brought out her surrogate to meet her family, and you can see that beautiful moment in the video below.
Sunday"s Keeping Up With The Kardashians was a busy episode.
Kourtney Kardashian was preoccupied with Scott Disick drama to the point where she didn"t seem "present" in the eyes of her sisters.
Kim addressed it to the confessional while Khloe confronted Kourtney about it.
This led Kourtney and Khloe to get into a spat, which resulted in Kourtney calling Khloe a "pregnant whore." Yikes.
Khloe, in the meantime, seemed visibly bummed out when she got the news that she was expecting a daughter. Apparently she didn"t "feel like" she was having a daughter.
While the idea of one of the Kardashians having a trans son would be neat representation, this sounds like a case of Khloe just wanting to have a boy to be a little different from her sisters.
The big moment, however, was when Kim invited her surrogate, Lorena, to meet her family.
This was an extra big deal because Lorena was still pregnant — so we get to see her baby bump (hi, Chicago!) while Kyie and Khloe both sport their baby bumps.
And Kris was there to take in all three of her grandbumps and, one imagines, run the numbers on how much she can make by managing the little ones" brands and careers.
(Of course Kris is a loving grandmother but, come on, folks, it had to be on her mind)
Take a look at Lorena"s baby bump.
Lorena admits that she is enjoying the surrogacy.
"I like being pregnant. I know it sounds really weird. The pregnancy itself, you know, it just feels natural, like I’m supposed to do it."
If the Kardashians were actually soap opera characters, that"s the sort of line that would cause Kim — who chose surrogacy because it"s unsafe for her to get pregnant again — to either weep or plot her surrogate"s murder.
(Also, if this were a soap opera, Kanye would be inexplicably in love with the surrogate)
Instead, Kim just calmly snacks while leaning against the fridge and watches Lorena meet her family.
Honestly? The best part of all of that is the idea of introducing Lorena to the Kardashians by name.
It"s good manners but, like, it"s a safe bet that Lorena knows who Khloe is.
Lorena bonds with Kylie and Khloe in particular, of course, because they"re all pregnant.
They"re pregnant with three cousins who are each due within a few months of each other, in fact. That"s a huge deal.
Also, it"s kind of a reminder of how great Kylie looks without makeup.
(Obviously, Kylie can wear as much or as little makeup as she likes, but her preferred makeup style has always aged her and when she sports a more natural look, she looks younger and prettier and more like Kendall)
You know, it"s always possible that Kim had some weird feelings when Lorena met her family.
Maybe she felt that she should be the one bonding with Kylie and Khloe during their first pregnancies.
But … she has been bonding with them. All throughout this experience. She"s expecting, she just isn"t pregnant.
As for Lorena, viewers never got a real look at her face — which is good, because she deserves peace — but she seemed absolutely charming.

Kim Kardashian Surrogate: Bonkers Dietary Restrictions Revealed!
Early last week, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West welcomed their third child. They even named the third Kimye baby Chicago West.
So much about the surrogate who carried Chicago to term remains a mystery. But, little by little, we’re learning more.
Including the dietary restrictions to which the surrogate agreed. These sound bonkers. Could you follow these rules for 10 months?
RadarOnline reports that, as part of the agreement signed in March of 2017, Kim Kardashian’s surrogate accepted dietary restrictions, including:
-Not “consuming, at any time, mold-ripened soft cheese, including, but not limited to, brie, camembert, chevre, blue cheese, and gorgonzola.”
– Not eating “raw or partially cooked eggs, raw or undercooked meat, cold deli meats, hot dogs, any and all live products (excluding yogurt), all pates, meat spreads, liver.”
– Also not ingesting “supplements containing Vitamin A, raw peanuts, unpasteurized dairy and juices, raw sprouts and any unwashed fruits and vegetables.”
And those restrictions aren’t all.
There were also very, very specific fish requirements.
At no point was the surrogate to consume “tile fish, raw shellfish, mackerel, raw fish, smoked salmon, or swordfish.”
For some of us, a ban on raw fish is a ban on fish altogether (I love sushi but don’t care for seafood in any other form).
But there is one type of fish that Kimye’s surrogate could ingest, if she so desired.
Tuna was permitted … but “no more than six ounces” of tuna in any given week.
These all sound bizarre, right? But there’s actually a method to this Kardashian-West madness.
Let’s start with the cheese, because if you’re like me, you saw something about limits on cheese and thought that’s a dealbreaker.
But those very specific types of cheeses are “soft cheeses,” and can contain listeria. Pregnant women are generally advised to not risk eating them. So it’s not just a celebrity thing.
Raw and partially cooked eggs (even though we all love our cookie dough) carry a risk of contamination with coliform bacteria, toxoplasmosis, or salmonella. Again, this is a standard thing for pregnant women to not eat.
Cold deli meats, like soft cheeses, carry the risk of listeria. (I worked in a deli and let me assure you, folks: better safe than sorry)
Unwashed fruits and vegetables can carry the risk of e. coli contamination, which is no joke. Grown children can die from e. coli; you don’t want that during a pregnancy.
Also, you generally want to wash your produce to get potential pesticides off of it.
Finally, for the super specific fish stuff.
Basically, all of that comes down to mercury pollution in the oceans, which is bad enough that, if you’re pregnant, you don’t need to be eating all sorts of fish, including swordfish.
The weekly tuna “allowance” is also because of the mercury found in tuna, which is also why people are generally advised against letting their cats eat canned tuna.
Considering that Kim Kardashian’s surrogate was only paid $ 68,000, that’s a long list of requirements. She had to forego sushi for almost an entire year.
But since these restrictions aren’t above and beyond anything that your average doctor would recommend, the only extraordinary thing is that Kim got it in writing.
(Incidentally, the list also restricts the surrogate from drinking more than one cup of a caffeinated beverage per day … but doesn’t mention a ban on alcohol. Or does that just go without saying?)
But you want to write down all of the details if you’re paying somebody. That’s what contracts are for.
This list is something that anyone thinking about becoming a parent should consider. Children can be wonderful, but are they really better than cheese? Or sushi?
Kim Kardashian Surrogate: Yup, We Know Her Name!
Kim Kardashian has given an unusual name to her third child.
Yes, she and Kanye West really have dubbed the baby girl Chicago.
But while fans debate the merits of this interesting moniker, it’s another name that has been on their minds for several months now.
Who, exactly, is the woman who gave birth to Chicago, they’ve been wondering?
According to Radar Online, we now have an answer.
This is what the website just published about Kim’s surrogate, beginning with her name:
– It is La’Reina Haynes.
– She is a stay-at-home mother with a degree in criminal justice from the University of Phoenix.
– She hails from San Diego and has two sons of her own.
– She is 27 years old.
– She posted a promotion video for the surrogate program Family Creations, which is how Kim and Kanye found her and selected her, in which she refers to surrogacy as a “humbling” experience.
– She also served as a surrogate in 2014, with a close friend saying the pregnancy and birth went very smoothly at that time.
– She was recommended to Kimye by Family Creations CEO Julie Alkire and she was unaware of the identity of her baby’s parents-to-be when she initially agreed to the deal.
Aside from Haynes’ name, a decent amount had been written about her prior to this revelation.
For example, we recently heard that she was paid about $ 70,000 for her pregnancy efforts.
This fee covered her “for all discomfort, pain, suffering, and inconveniences, for pregnancy and pre-birth child support expenses and post-birth expenses.”
(It also would have been more if she had given birth to twins or triplets.)
In addition to this set amount, Kardashian and West agreed to cover “obstetrical, nursing, hospital and maternity care, pharmaceutical, pediatrics, or other costs.”
Haynes didn’t pay for any medical expenses, in other words.
She did, however, have to agree to certain terms and guidelines.
In a separate Radar Online report, the celebrity gossip site even alleges that these terms and guideslines were especially strict.
She was not permitted to eat soft cheese, for instance, nor undercooked meal or hot dogs. Raw peanuts or unwashed fruit? Off limits!
These were not examples of Kim and Kanye being diva celebrities or anything, of course.
They were simply rules put in place to ensure the health of their child.
And, by all account, they worked: Chicago was born last week and is now at her new home, resting comfortably and receiving the best care and all the love possible.
“She’s here!” Kardashian declared in extra-large type on her Twitter account shortly after becoming a three-time parent. “We’re so in love.”
The reality star added:
“Kanye and I are happy to announce the arrival of our healthy, beautiful baby girl.
“We are incredibly grateful to our surrogate who made our dreams come true with the greatest gift one could give and to our wonderful doctors and nurses for their special care.”
For those unaware, Kim was advised by doctors NOT to get pregnant against due to health complications she experienced with her first two kids, North and Saint.
While we await the first photos of little Chicago (who will go by the nickname “Chi”), we’re just like to take this opportunity and send our best wishes to Kim, Kanye and Haynes as well.
The latter gave two people the best gift one could possibly give.
We hope she’s recovering well and we hope her baby is happy, healthy and adjusting to her new surroundings.

Kim Kardashian Surrogate Salary: Revealed! Paltry!
If you’ve been anywhere near social media this week, then you’re no doubt aware that Kim Kardashian has welcomed her third child.
You’re probably also aware that she gave that child a very strange name.
Yes, the moniker Chicago West is dominating all other Kardashian news this week for the simple reason that it’s an unusual name for a baby girl, even by Kimye standards.
Kim and Kanye would probably appreciate it if most critics would hold their damn tongues, but they’re probably not too upset about the fact that Chicago is dominating the entertainment news cycle.
For one thing, Kim and Kanye are of the opinion that everything they do is deserving of the public’s full attention and that’s doubly true when they do something that’s actually newsworthy, such as welcoming a child and naming it after a major American city.
And as a bonus, the name distracts from the weird news coming out today about Kim and Kanye’s surrogate:
As we reported yesterday, Kim’s surrogate was reported to have been very well-paid for her services.
That would make perfect sense, of course, as being a surrogate is a major commitment and Kim and Kanye are very wealthy.
Today, however, Radar Online is reporting that the surrogate (who remains anonymous) was paid much, much less than initially thought.
The site claims that the surrogate received a mere $ 68,850 in compensation “for all discomfort, pain, suffering, and inconveniences, for pregnancy and pre-birth child support expenses and post-birth expenses.”
It’s a sizable sum, to be sure, but a mere fraction of what was expected as payment from one of the wealthiest couples in entertainment.
In addition to the flat fee, Kim and Kanye agreed to cover “obstetrical, nursing, hospital and maternity care, pharmaceutical, pediatrics, or other costs,” as well as covering all “medical expenses, fees, costs and services relating to the pregnancy and the birth of the child.”
Generous, sure, but also a standard part of most surrogate agreements.
The Wests even went so far as to put a clause in the contract ensuring that they would not be held responsible if, for any reason, the surrogate’s husband was forced to miss work during her pregnancy:
“The Intended Parents shall have no responsibility to pay the gestational carrier’s husband’s lost wages under this agreement,”
We should note that none of this comes directly from the surrogate, as according to the terms of her contract, she’s not permitted to speak to the press.
The surrogate’s parents spoke on her behalf earlier this week and assured the public that all is well.
“She is doing well,” her mother told Radar Online.
“Everything went well. As a matter of fact, she’s at home resting,” said the surrogate’s father, when asked if there were any complications.
Both parties declined to offer any further information for fear of giving away their daughter’s identity.
An anonymous source says the mother-of-two is happy with the arrangement, as she was never really in it for the money:
“Neither she or her husband have asked for a nickel more from Kim or Kanye” said the source.
“They just wanted to bless someone’s family with the gift of a child.”
That’s nice and all, but if the family you’re blessing happens to be insanely wealthy, might as well ensure that your own kids are taken care of, right?
Just sayin’ …

Kim Kardashian Surrogate Speaks Out: I"m Happy, Healthy and RICH!
As you’ve likely heard by now, Kim Kardashian welcomed her third child this week.
The baby was born via surrogate at Cedars Sinai Hospital in LA early Monday morning.
Kim made the announcement via her subscription-based app, but at this point, details are still relatively scarce.
We know the baby is a girl, and the delivery went smoothly–but that’s about it.
It might be weeks before Kim and Kanye go public with additional information, but one person who was directly involved in bringing their child into the world is speaking out … kind of.
Not much is known about the surrogate hired by Kim and Kanye, and it seems that according to her contract, she’s not allowed to speak to the press.
But that doesn’t mean her parents can’t speak to the press.
Yes, the anonymous surrogate has contacted her mother and father, and in turn, they gave an interview to Radar Online.
It might be the closest we’ll ever come to hearing from the surrogate directly.
Fortunately, the parents have remained anonymous, which means the surrogate is not in violation of her agreement with Kim and Kanye.
“She is doing well,” her mother tells Radar.
“[Tuesday] she told me she felt fine.”
Asked if there were any complications with the delivery, the surrogate’s father replied, “No, everything went well. As a matter of fact, she’s at home resting.”
“She’s safe at home with her husband,” the mother added.
Unfortunately, there are two matters on which the proud parents played it coy.
For starters, they refused to reveal if their daughter was a fan of Kim’s before carrying the reality star’s baby.
“She may have been!” her mother remarked vaguely, adding:
“According to what my daughter told me, yes, they got along.”
And per their daughter’s contract, the parents offered no information on how much Kim and Kanye paid for the use of her uterus.
We suppose that’s okay.
It’s not like we need an exact figure to tell us that the anonymous woman who had the honor of delivering the newest member of the Kardashian-West clan is now very, very wealthy.

Kylie Jenner: Was She REALLY Kim Kardashian"s Surrogate?!
As you’ve lkely heard by now, Kim Kardashian welcomed her third child this week.
The baby girl was born via surogate, and the identity of the woman who carried Kim’s baby has been kept a secret.
So obviously it was Kylie Jenner.
We kid, of course, but believe it or not, the theory thay Kylie was Kim’s surrogate has gained traction on social media in recent weeks.
At first glance, the story seems ridiculous.
But we have to admit, the lunatic conspiracy theorist inside of us is slightly intrigued.
So let’s put on our tinfoil hats, flush our meds down the toilet, and go full Alex Jones with this thing, shall we?
The rumors began when fans started to wonder why Kylie was being so secretive about her pregnancy.
After all, this is a woman who doesn’t brush her teeth without Snapchatting about it, and now that she has something as interesting as a pregnancy going on, she disappears from social media entirely?
It doesn’t quite add up.
Sources close to the 20-year-old say Kylie is just self-conscious about her changing body.
Others apparently feel that if Kylie went out in public, her fetus might strike a risqué pose for Paper magazine, or snatch a microphone away from Taylor Swift, or otherwise give away its identity as Kim and Kanye’s child.
Whatever the case, the secrecy of Kylie’s prenancy coincided with the effort to keep the identity of Kim’s surrogate under wraps, and folks of a certain mentality (the type who would’ve used the term “grassy knoll” a lot in a previous generation) feel that’s simply too coincidental to be … a coincidence.
On Monday, several media outlets reported that Kylie had gone into labor, and while it those reports were later disproven, Kard clan fans rushed to social media to share the news that the jig was officially up:
“This is so weird.. Just 2 days ago it was reported that Kylie was in labor.. which they later said was ‘false.’ Now Kim & Kanye are welcoming their new baby into the world? So all this time Kylie was really the fucking surrogate?” wrote one twitter user.
“I love that @KylieJenner clearly had @KimKardashian child. Rumors Kylie went into labor a few days ago and now boom kim announcers her child was born Monday through surrogate,” commented another.
“Y’all find it a coincidence that Kylie was rumored to have gone into labor this weekend and then Kim welcomes baby #3 on Monday?” a third tweeted.
Again, we suppose it’s possible that Kylie was Kim’s surrogate … but it’s also possible that Ted Cruz’s father killed JFK.
Many of the surrogate truthers out there are neglecting one important fact:
Kylie has built a career on the strength of her surgically-enhanced physique.
Maybe she would sacrifice all that to carry her sister’s baby, but if she did, she’d be announcing her decision on the cover of People.
These are Kris Jenner’s daughters were talking about here, folks,
They know a thing or two about publicity.

Kim Kardashian, Kanye West Welcome Baby Girl Via Surrogate!
The First Family of Reality TV’s baby boom has begun: Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have officially welcomed their third child!
A healthy baby girl was born to a surrogate Monday.
The surrogate gave birth Monday to the child, who weighed in at 7 lbs., 6 oz., according to TMZ, which broke the story moments ago.
The reality star and rapper used a surrogate to have a third biological child because she has a condition known as placenta accreta.
That life-threatening condition led to major complications during the birth of her second child, Saint, and made a third pregnancy unwise.
The surrogate lives in the San Diego area; It’s unclear if she gave birth there or at Cedars-Sinai in L.A., or somewhere else in the area.
From what we know, which isn’t much (they’ve kept this very private) Kimye’s surrogate is a married black woman in her 20s.
The surrogate’s husband is also in his 20s, and they’ve been married for five years. They also have a family of their own right now!
She is a college graduate with two young sons, so she was familiar with pregnancy, childbirth and the process she just went through.
Pretty much the perfect surrogate, in other words.
Kim kept the entire process under wraps, as we said, though she did reveal that she was having a girl late last year to Ellen DeGeneres.
Kardashian explained to the talk show host that her first-born child North kept referring to the impending baby as her “Sister.”
“My daughter thinks she’s tricky,” Kim said, explaining why she had a baby shower even though it’s her third and she wasn’t pregnant.
“I thought, ‘I really do want to have a baby shower because I want [North] to feel that something’s coming and for her to really understand it.’
“So, people brought toys and gifts and [North] was opening them up the next day,” Kim recalled, adding that North offered to “help,” saying:
“‘Mom, since Baby Sister’s not here, I think I need all of her toys in my room and play with them and make sure they’re all okay for Baby Sister.’”
Hey, someone’s gotta do the hard work, right?
One thing Kim won’t reveal is what’s going on with Khloe Kardashian’s pregnancy, or Kylie’s, saying that’s for her sisters to tell.
Or not, depending on how they feel about it.
“I’m going to break it down,” Kim said.
“There are lots of rumors. We have these family group chats and we threaten each others’ lives if we speak for the other one.”
“So we just decided that since there’s so much that goes on, we will all respect each other’s right to speak for themselves.”
With that said, “I will speak for myself and hopefully they can come on and address whatever rumors you might have.”
That’s more than fair and even admirable.
All we have to add is congratulations to Kim, Kanye and their entire family on the joyous birth of their new baby girl this week!
We’ll have more information for you about it when that becomes available, though they’ve kept it very much on the DL so far.
Can’t blame them for that. It’s a good thing.

Keeping Up with the Kardashians Recap: The Surrogate Blues
This week’s episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians featured Kimberly coming to the decision to have a third child via surrogate.
It was a decision that carried many mixed emotions.
First off, how did she come to choose her surrogate?
“Finding someone you really trust is really more difficult than you can imagine,” she said of the still-anonymous young woman.
“It was maybe a year before we finalized [that].”
Kim gushed that the woman entrusted with carrying her child – who is 100% Kim and Kanye’s, genetically – is just “such a nice person.”
“Like, she’s so easy to talk to. This particular surrogate, she was the best fit for my family so we just had to go with it and try one embryo.”
Additionally, Kim revealed that an implanted embryo from a fertility procedure before her pregnancy with son Saint, now 2, was lost:
“One didn’t work with me. I tried it and I lost one.”
Sister Khloe then opened up about this, too.
“Before Kimberly got pregnant with Saint,” Khloe said, “she had an embryo implanted in her and that embryo did not take.”
“So Kim is super nervous and anxious.”
Understandably so, but it appears that this time frame has passed, as later, she told her family, “We’re having a baby. A girl.”
“I definitely want to keep it private. I don’t want people to find my surrogate. I don’t want people following her, chasing her.”
“I really trust my surrogate,” though, she said:
“I’m not trying to control her every move.”
Not all is well with her inner circle, however, as Kim revealed that her relationship with Stephanie Shepherd wasn’t always amicable.
The duo remain close following Shepherd’s firing as Kim’s assistant this year, but it’s clear there is some bad blood lingering.
As Kim went on to discuss the pair’s up and down history, she confessed to Kourtney in an off-hand remark, “I hated Steph.”
Later in the episode, Kourtney finally confirmed her relationship to Younes Bendjima to Khloe, following a little bit of teasing.
Kourtney explained her reluctance to talk about the romance on the show, even as her sister prodded her, on the show.
She said, “I don’t feel like sitting and airing my business. I’m not using it on the show. I don’t feel like I need to expose.”
Fair enough.

Kim and Kanye"s Surrogate Out of Sight, But Still Sharing Pregnancy Progress
Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are in the homestretch for baby #3’s arrival, and acting like the old pros they are in the birthing game … even though this is their first time using a surrogate. As we’ve reported, the couple’s baby girl is due…
Thursday, October 26, 2017
Kim Kardashian: Surrogate Due MUCH Sooner Than Expected!
As you’ve likely heard by now, Kim Kardashian is expecting her third child via surrogate.
We know quite a bit about Kim’s surrogate, but all parties involved have done an impressive job of keeping certain important pieces of information out of the headlines.
For instance, we don’t even know the name of the woman who’s carrying Kim’s baby.
(However, we do know that Kylie is not the surrogate, which was a fun little rumor for a while.)
Just as importantly, we don’t really know when Kim’s durrogate is due.
There have been countless rumors about when exactly North and Saint will have a new little brother or sister, but no official word from the Kardashian kamp.
To be clear–there’s still no official word from the Kard clan, but Us Weekly has spoken with a source who’s confident that Kim and Kanye are expecing yet another December baby.
“Kim’s surrogate is due before Christmas,” an insider tells the tabloid.
Yes, it seems we’re less than two months away from another new addition for the Kardashian-West clan.
(Rumors that Kim is having twins are still circulating on social media, but insiders are convinced the surrogate is only carrying one baby.)
Of course, little Saint West will be celebrating his second birthday on December 5.
We can’t help but wonder if Kim and Kanye will keep the “Away In a Manger” vibe going with another religios name.
Jesus West would be too, obvious, and Kanye won’t want to give that one away, as he’s probably still expecting to find out that he’s the second coming.
We suppose they could go the metal route with Judas West, but that’s really setting up a lifetime of sibling rivalry with Saint.
Maybe Bethlehem West? Nazareth?
How about Mythical Transubstantiation West?
Who are we kidding?
This is Kanye we’re talking about.
Straight-up naming his son or daughter God West is pretty much the only ego move that would surprise us at this point.
Do it, Yeezy.
You know you want to.

Kylie Jenner: Is She Kim Kardashian"s Surrogate?!
Countless conspiracy theories have captured our nation’s imagination over the years.
Was the moon landing fake? Did the CIA collaborate with a foreign government to assassinate JFK? What sort of hallucinogens did network execs to believe it was possible for Megyn Kelly to rebrand herself as Fun Morning Meg?
All important questions, to be sure, but none of them will impact future generations auite as much as Kylie Jenner’s uterus.
In case the cave you’re living in on Mars doesn’t have reliable wi-fi, allow us to fill you in on the news that rocked the celebrity gossip world last week:
Kylie Jenner is pregnant, and her fans are triggered, and they can’t even, but they’re also like, “YAAAAS, KWEEN!!!”
Are we doing this Millennial slang thing right?
Anyway, the announcement came on the heels of news that Kim Kardashian is expecting a third child via surrogate.
Not surprisingly, it didn’t take long before one of social media’s sharpest sleuths deduced (possibly while very stoned) that Kylie might be carrying Kim and Kanye’s child!
Here’s the thing about this particular theory:
We suppose it’s remotely possible … but it’s also profoundly stupid.
For one thing, a number of biographical details abotu Kim’s surrogate have already been released.
We know that she’s a married, African-American mother of two in her late twenties who lives in San Diego and has been a surrogate in the past.
Since none of those things can be said of Kylie, we assume it’s safe to say that Kim didn’t hire her 20-year-old sister to
Actually, we’re pretty sure that was safe to say from the get-go.
But this is 2017, a time in which many people operate under the belief that the most amusing explanation is probably the most accurate.
As a result, the “Kylie is Kim’s surrogate” theory spread across social media with surprising speed.
!s it nonsense?
Of course it is! But as long as there’s the slightest possibility that it could be true, it’ll circulate on Twitter until the End Times.
After all, this is the same internet that hears Alex Jones screaming that the Sandy Hook massacre was a hoax and Hillary Clinton is a literal lizard person from another planet, and encourages him to elaborate on his lunatic ramblings.
Compared to psycho ravings like that, a tweet about Kylie carrying her sister’s baby seems pretty damn believable.
We live in interesting times, folks.

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West: Surrogate Details Revealed!
Kim and Kanye’s third baby is officially on the way. Via surrogate, of course — so Kim’s nude tree-climbing can continue. But also because pregnancies are especially hard on Kim, so why put yourself through that if you don’t have to?
We have also learned that Kim is due in January, and it’s reported that Kim and Kanye are expecting a baby girl!
But now we know something else — a little more about this surrogate mom that the power couple has hired.
When you’re looking for a surrogate, you want to make sure that they’re above reproach.
You’re trusting them with one of the most important things in your life. And also with a fair amount of your money.
First, you need to make sure that they’re not out to scam you.
Second, you need to make sure that they’re in good health.
That means taking their prenatal vitamins, going to every appointment (that you pay for), not being on any drugs, not living a dangerous lifestyle.
Thirdly, though, you need to make sure that they’re trustworthy.
Because it’s illegal to sell human beings — like, say, a newborn baby — no amount of money that you pay a surrogate and no contract that you sign with them can guarantee that they’ll hand over the baby after giving birth.
A surrogate who balks at the last minute might, we imagine, get in trouble in civil or even criminal court (for fraud) or get in trouble with the agency that employs them, but … that won’t give you your baby if you trusted the wrong person.
That’s a huge fear for a lot of hopeful parents who hire a surrogate.
Fortunately, in this case, it looks like Kim and Kanye have found the perfect surrogate.
TMZ reports that Kim and Kanye’s surrogate is a fit, married mom.
That’s a far cry from the “desperate for cash” image that a lot of people conjure up for surrogates.
According to their sources, Kimye’s surrogate is a black woman in her twenties.
Your twenties may not be a convenient time for most people to have kids, thanks to economic and social factors (having kids is expensive and most people want to find a real partner first), but in terms of physical health, those are the best years for giving birth.
The surrogate’s husband is also in his twenties, and they’ve been married for five years.
She is a college graduate with two young boys, so she’s familiar with pregnancy and with childbirth and knows what to expect.
(Babies from a different partner or, in this case, from two different people can be a little different, but some surrogates never notice a difference from other pregnancies)
Entertainingly, TMZ reports that the surrogate is a registered Democrat.
Like mother, like surrogate, we’re guessing.
There’s no telling how Kanye is registered or if he even is registered, since the “eccentric” star stated that he didn’t even vote in 2016.
And that, if he had, he would have voted for Donald Trump.
That bizarre rant on stage was part of the breakdown that he had that required him to cancel is tour, of course.
Honestly, it’s more than a little goofy that TMZ or their source looked up her politics in the first place, but we guess that when you’re looking into someone, you give as much information as you can.
We don’t know the surrogate’s name, thank goodness, because this woman deserves her anonymity.
Especially while she’s pregnant … but also afterwards.
We’re pretty sure that the service that Kim and Kanye are using values discretion.
