Lindsey Vonn: Throwing Shade at Tiger Woods With Epic Bikini Pic?
As you’ve no doubt heard by now, Tiger Woods was arrested on DUI charges over the holiday weekend.
The incident seems to be the culmination of a long and ugly downward spiral for the former golf god, beginning when he was caught cheating on Elin Nordegren with numerous women back in 2010.
Woods hasn’t won a major tournament since 2008, and he’s been plagued by injuries and rumors of erratic behavior.
When he posed for that mug shot, Tiger likely believed that he’d reached rock bottom.
Little did he know, it was still possible for him to sink lower.
If you’ve been following the many trials and tribulations of Mr. Wood, then you’ll remember that Woods broke up with Olympic skier Lindsey Vonn back in 2015 after two years of dating.
More than just a romance between two dominant athletes, the Vonn relationship represented a chance for Woods to start rebuilding his shattered reputation.
Amazingly, it seems that Woods never cheated on Vonn, but the 32-year-old still seems quite pleased that she and Tiger went their separate ways:
Vonn posted the above photo yesterday just hours after news of Woods’ arrest went public.
“Thankful for great friends and fun adventures but keeping my eyes on the horizon,” she captioned the photo, adding:
“The future is bright.”
Naturally, the pic/caption combo led many fans to the conclusion that this was Vonn’s way of throwing shade at her ex.
If that’s the case, it’s some supremely subtle shade, but it’s very possible that this is Lindsey’s way of talking trash.
By the time this photo was posted, she would have already caught wind of Tiger’s arrest.
(The incident was the talk of social media beginning early Monday morning.)
She likely would’ve known how such a post would be interpreted, but she went with it anyway.
So at the very least, she decided she’s cool with fans looking at her ‘Gram and believing she’s flipping the figurative bird to Tiger in the form of an envy-inducing belfie on the Mediterranean.
We would never encourage drunk driving, but if we get a Lindsey bikini pic every time he messes up, we might need him to stumble a couple more times before he gets back up.

Tiger Woods: Shocking Arrest Details Revealed
As you’ve likely heard by now, Tiger Woods was arrested on DUI charges early Monday morning.
Early reports indicated that Woods refused a breathalyzer test, but gave arresting officers sufficient reason to believe that he was intoxicated.
The gold legend was taken into custody, but released on his own recognizance just a few hours later.
In a statement issued yesterday, Woods insisted that he was not drunk at the time of his arrest, but rather experiencing and adverse reaction to prescribed medications.
“I want the public to know that alcohol was not involved,” Woods said in a statement issued last night.
“What happened was an unexpected reaction to prescribed medications. I didn’t realize the mix of medications affected me so strongly.”
Woods underwent back surgery last month, and arrest records obtained by TMZ this morning reveal that he has been prescribed multiple medications.
The arresting officers’ account of the incident also reveals that Woods was extremely out of it when he was taken into custody.
According to the documents, cops found Woods asleep at the wheel of his 2015 Mercedes Benz with the motor running and his right blinker turned on.
The officers noticed that Woods “had extremely slow and slurred speech” and it son became clear that he had no idea what was going on.
Despite being arrested in Jupiter, Florida, Woods told police that he was “coming from L.A. California from golfing.”
He later admitted that he didn’t know where he was.
Officers proceeded to conduct a field sobriety test that Woods failed miserably.
The 41-year-old was reportedly unable to touch his nose or stand on one foot.
“When asked if he understood the Romberg alphabet test, he stated, ‘Yes, recite entire national anthem backwards,"” writes one officer.
While he did not take a breathalyzer test at the scene, Woods was tested after his arrest and blew zeros.
The report notes that he was “cooperative as much as possible, very droopy, extremely sleepy, hard to keep eyes open, hard to walk.”
Under “medical conditions,” the report notes that Tiger has been prescribed four different medications: Solarex, Vicodin, Torix and Vioxx.
The documents also state that he’s undergone four surgeries on his knee and four on his Achilles heel.

Tiger Woods: Sorry for DUI, But... I Wasn"t Drunk!
Tiger Woods is not asking for a mulligan.
The legendary golfer admits in a new statement that he got arrested early Monday morning in Florida for DUI and he says it’s his responsibility and he’s very sorry.
HOWEVER, Woods also insists that alcohol did not play a role in this unfortunate incident.
As previously reported, Tiger Woods was arrested around 3 a.m. yesterday on suspicion of driving under the influence and was released on his own recognizance a few hours later.
The bust took place in Jupiter, about eight miles from the athlete’s house.
Law enforcement sources told TMZ shortly afterward that Woods “driving erratically, all over the road” in his 2015 Mercedes when the police pulled him over.
The officer at the scene reportedly smelled alcohol on Tiger’s’ breath and described the star as “arrogant.”
Woods then refused to take a breathalyzer test, which prompts an automatic arrest and license suspension in Florida.
Such behavior would lead one to presume Woods was rather wasted, but the golfer (it’s true! Tiger Woods was once very good at golf!) says in his statement that he wasn’t drunk at all.
“I understand the severity of what I did and I take full responsibility for my actions,” said Woods on Monday evening, adding:
“I want the public to know that alcohol was not involved.
“What happened was an unexpected reaction to prescribed medications. I didn’t realize the mix of medications affected me so strongly.
“I would like to apologize with all my heart to my family, friends, and the fans. I expect more from myself, too.
“I will do everything in my power to ensure this never happens again.”
Concluded Woods:
“I fully cooperated with law enforcement, and I would like to personally thank the representatives of the Jupiter Police Dept. and the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office for their professionalism.”
We don’t know at this time whether or not any tests were done at the police station to determine Woods’ blood-alcohol content.
So we may never have definitive proof of whether he’s telling the truth about his alcohol consumption.
But Tiger did undergo back surgery last month. On April 19, to be exact.
The fusion in his lower back means he will miss the rest of the 2017 golf season, but Tiger said at the time that such “instant nerve relief” led to him feeling his best in years.
It marked Tiger’s fourth back surgery since 2014.
“The long-term prognosis is positive,” Woods said just a few weeks ago.
“My surgeon and physiotherapist say the operation was successful. It’s just a matter of not screwing up and letting it fuse. I’m walking and doing my exercises, and taking my kids to and from school.
“All I can do is take it day by day. There’s no hurry.
“But, I want to say unequivocally, I want to play professional golf again.
“Presently, I’m not looking ahead. I can’t twist for another two and a half to three months. Right now, my sole focus is rehab and doing what the doctors tell me.
“I am concentrating on short-term goals.”
Back in 2009, when the downfall of Tiger Woods as an athlete and a human being began, Woods slammed into a tree while behind the wheel of a car.
It happened after then-wife Elin Nordegren learned her husband had been cheating (prolifically!) on her and it was reported at the time that Tiger was under the influence of ambien when the accident occurred.
He did not face any criminal charges as a result.
In this case, TMZ claims that Woods’ girlfriend, Kristin Smith, learned about the arrest while shopping at a Neiman Marcus store in Dallas.
Someone allegedly called her to explain what happened – and then, according to multiple onlookers, “she went crazy” and said “I knew it, I knew it.”
Knew that Woods was cheating on her, perhaps?
Smith must be assuming that Woods could only have been in his car at 3 a.m. because he was either head to or coming from some kind of booty call.
Smith broke down in tears, spent $ 5,000 at the store and left, TMZ writes.
That’s some damn impressive reporting if true.
It’s almost as impressive as Tiger’s former mastery of the golf course, which now seems like a lifetime ago. How sad.

Tiger Woods Arrested on DUI Charges
Golf legend Tiger Woods was arrested early this morning on suspicion of driving under the influence.
Police in Jupiter, Florida say Woods was taken into custody around 3 am and released on his own recognizance a few hours later with no bail.
Woods has yet to comment on the arrest.
A golf prodigy who entered the pro circuit in 1997 at the age of 21, Woods won 14 majors before he turned 32, an accomplishment bested only by Jack Nicklaus.
These days, of course, Woods’ name is synonymous with scandal and disappointment following years of tabloid headlines and a steady decline on the golf course.
Woods has not won a major tournament since the US Open in June of 2008.
In 2010, Woods was caught cheating on Elin Nordegren, and the ugly divorce that followed revealed a side of the golfer that fans no doubt would have preferred remain hidden.
It was gradually revealed that Woods engaged in numerous affairs during his marriage to Nordegren, including several dalliances with adult film stars.
In 2013, Woods began dating Lindsey Vonn, but his relationship with the Olympic skiier also ended abruptly.
Woods has not competed professionally since February, when he was forced to pull out of the Dubai Desert Classic due to injury.
Last month, the 41-year-old underwent back surgery, and his optimistic progress reports had fans eagerly awaiting a comeback.
“I haven’t felt this good in years,” Woods said in a blog post published Wednesday.
“Right now, my sole focus is rehab and doing what the doctors tell me,” he added. “I am concentrating on short-term goals.”
There’s no word yet from the PGA or Woods’ remaining sponsors on how this latest scandal will affect his career and future earnings, but you can bet Team Tiger is in full damage control mode.
Once a shining symbol of hope for a sport that struggled to attract younger fans, Woods has slowly become a walking cautionary tale.
Though he’s weathered some major PR crises in the past, we think even his biggest defenders would agree that this is a man who can scarcely afford another scandal.

Tiger Woods Poses as Shirtless Santa, Internet Loses Its Mind
Tiger Woods used to be a monster on the golf course.
And dozens of moderately-attracted cocktail waitresses across the country has claimed that Tiger Woods is a monster in the bedroom.
But a new Twitter photo proves that Tiger Woods is really just a softie at heart.
At least when it comes to his children.
On Thursday, Woods took the Internet by shocking storm when he posted a snapshot of himself in sunglasses.
And a white wig.
And a black baseball cap.
While not wearing a shirt of any kind.
The iconic athlete, who is allegedly now dating someone named Kristin Smith, also appears to have dyed his goatee white.
Why did he do such a thing?
“Xmas tradition that my kids love. Mac Daddy Santa is back! – TW,” Woods wrote as a caption.
Yes: Mac Daddy Santa.
And we wonder why Woods’ fellow golfers are no longer intimidated by him on the course.
As you might expect, Tiger’s followers were left entertained and baffled by the picture.
One person on Twitter joked, “Me: Could 2016 get any worse? Tiger Woods: hold my shirt,” while another added:
“All I want for Christmas is to unsee that Tiger Woods picture.”
Others wondered whether the formerly private champion – who used to revel in his calm, cool and serious demeanor – actually intended to release the photo for all to see.
“I feel like this wasn’t intended for public consumption,” a Twitter user stated.
Woods is the father of a nine-year old daughter named Sam and a seven-year old son named Charlie.
He split from their mother, Elin Nordegren, after the two got into a legendary fight in late 2009 over Tiger’s excessive infidelity.
It eventually came out that he slept with countless other women while married, a stunning revelation for someone who seemed SO focused on his golf game.
And also a stunning revelation because… well… have you see any Elin Nordegren photos?!?
It may have taken a long time to react this point, but in an October interview with Stephen Colbert, Woods said that he and Nordegren are now happily co-parenting their two kids.
“She’s been one of my best friends, and I’ve talked to her about so many different things, and she does the same thing with me back and forth,” Woods explained of his ex-wife, adding:
“We communicate so much better now, it’s incredible. I wish we would have done that earlier on, but it’s been incredible to have a best friend like that.”
Nope, Woods doesn’t regret his cheating, he says.
But will he come to regret this shirtless Santa photograph?
