Jim Parsons & Todd Spiewak: Married!
Back in 2014, we reported that Jim Parsons and Todd Spiewak had gotten engaged after several years of dating.
Now, after a lengthy engagement, it seems the couple has finally taken the plunge.
Reps for the couple confirmed to Page Six that Parsons and Spiewak got married at the Rainbow Room on Saturday.
If you watch The Big Bang Theory online, you know that Parsons’ character, Sheldon Cooper, concluded the season by proposing to his longtime girlfriend Mayim Bialik.
Was it a coincidence?
An inside joke between Parsons and the writers?
The result of TBBT having been on the air for approximately 47 years, and reaching that “late season Friends” stage of being forced to marry characters off in order to cobble together some semblance of a plot?
We may never know as Parsons is notoriously secretive about his private life.
In fact, Parsons die-hards were surprised when he posted a shout-out to Spiewak on his Instagram page last week:
“I met this guy (the one with the mic) 14 years ago today and it was the best thing that ever happened to me, no contest,” Parsons captioned the pic of Spiewak singing.
“One of his greatest gifts to me is that he no longer takes me to sing karaoke.”
For the sake of his younger fans, the 44-year-old actor added:
“Also, I believe this was a selfie with an actual camera, as our phones couldn’t do that back then hahaha! #todd #anniversary.”
Yes, it’s hard to believe, but there was a time when we didn’t all carry wildly sophisticated computers in out pockets. Ca-razy!
Parsons and the rest of the Big Bang Theory cast offered to take pay cuts recently, but Parsons isn’t exactly struggling.
He still remains one of TV’s highest-paid actors, and it doesn’t look like the cash will stop flowing any time soon.
In addition to the fact that TBBT will probably remain on the air well after the sun expands and engulfs the Earth, a spinoff about Sheldon’s childhood is currently in the works, with Parsons providing voice-over narration.
So congrats to Jim and Todd!
Both on the marriage and on being loaded beyond belief!

Todd Heap Accidentally Strikes, Kills 3-Year Old Daughter with Car
Todd Heap, a former stand-out tight end who played 12 seasons in the NFL, is now living through the worst possible nightmare for any parent.
The Mesa Police Department in Arizona has confirmed that Heap accidentally struck and killed his three-year-old daughter with his truck on Friday.
According to official police records, Heap said the child was in her driveway when he went to move a truck and hit her just before 4 p.m. local time.
Authorities told an ABC affiliate that there were no signs of impairment or suspicious circumstances behind the incident.
It sounds at the moment like it was just an awful, awful accident.
The Mesa Police Department told Fox 10 Phoenix that Heap’s daughter was taken to a local hospital, where she later died.
Prior to being drafted by the Baltimore Ravens in 2001, Heap attended Mountain View High School in Mesa and then went on to play at Arizona State University.
He spent 10 seasons with the Ravens and then joined the Cardinals in 2011 and 2012 before injury forced his retirement about halfway through his second season with Arizona.
Heap’s daughter was the youngest of his five children with wife Ashley.
The ex-All Pro is yet to comment on the situation, but we cannot imagine what he is going through.
In 2014, Heap was inducted in the Baltimore Ring of Honor, the highest distinction the Ravens can give to a player.
He finished his career with 499 receptions, 5,869 yards and 24 touchdowns.
Upon learning of this sad news, various members of the NFL family reached out to Heap and asked for prayers via social media.

Todd Chrisley: I"m Not Gay, But...
Todd Chrisley has spoken out on rumors that he’s gay.
There hasn’t been any significant reason for anyone to believe this about the reality star’s sexuality, but those who watch Chrisley Knows Best online have to admit:
The Atlanta millionaire often comes across as somewhat effeminate.
This is obviously a stereotypical assertion, one we offer without making any judgment
But it’s also important to note that we haven’t been the ones making it.
Hence the reason why Chrisley addressed such talk Wednesday during an appearance on The Domenick Nati Show, making it clear that he had no reason to be upset by the chatter.
“In order for it to disappoint me, it would mean that I don’t agree with someone being gay,” the married father of five said very reasonably.
He added:
“I don’t believe that’s a choice that you make. I believe that you are the way that God has made you.”
The 47-year-old is a self-made member of the one percent.
He has made a great deal of money in real estate over the years and is married to a woman named Julie.
Further discussing all the gay rumors out there, Todd said this week that he’s totally fine that fans and critics alike might question his sexual preference.
“I’m flattered that people think I can get laid on both ends,” he joked, making a point to mention that he and Julie have been married for over two decades.
“So, that doesn’t bother me,” he said of the speculation.
“And my wife certainly is flattered that as many men want her husband as there are women. With that being said, I’m never going to have a drought.”
That’s a pretty good line.
Chrisley is saying that even if he and Julie somehow divorce, he’ll be able to hit the dating scene with more options out there than most people have.
hrisley is the father of five kids. They are:
- Lindsie, 27.
- Kyle, 25.
- Chase, 20.
- Savannah, 19, who recently got into a major car accident.
- Grayson, 10.
The family’s reality show, Chrisley Knows Best, chronicles this group’s high-energy life, with the flamboyant patriarch at the center of everything.
Todd is an open-minded Christian who says the following about God, reigion and mankind:
“I believe you’re here on this earth as God intended. In the Bible, he tells you that he knew you before you were conceived.
“So if he knew you before you were conceived then that means he knew what you were going to become. … No sin is greater than the next, so I’m not passing judgment on anyone.”

Chrisley Knows Best returns for a new season on Tuesday, February 21, at 10/9c on USA Network.
