Ami Brown is Confined to a Wheelchair. See the Sad Photo Here.

We have an update on the condition of Ami Brown.

Unfortunately, however, it is not a positive one.

As previously detailed on The Hollywood Gossip and on episodes of Alaskan Bush People this season, the Brown family matriarch is sick.

She’s very sick.

She’s been diagnosed with lung cancer.

On an earlier installment of the aforementioned Discovery Channel series, Ami’s husband said his wife was suffering from the Stage 3 level of this disease, but further tests may prove she’s in Stage 4.

This would be the most severe type of lung cancer. It would mean Ami does not have very much time left.

And while we cannot verify at the moment just which Stage Amy is at, a new photo shared on Facebook depicts the reality star in a wheelchair:

“We found this recent photo of Billy, Ami and two lucky fans that was taken in California last night,” wrote son Matt Brown as a caption, adding:

“We love Ami’s sweet smile! Don’t forget that Alaskan Bush People returns on Wednesday, Aug. 9th at 9PM ET on the Discovery channel. Have a great weekend!!”

Ami has scarcely been seen out in public since her diagnosis.

But her loved ones took her to California in order to receive treatment several weeks ago, a sure sign that things were not progressing well because the Browns are famous for almost never leaving their remote enclave in Alaska.

“Bill and the kids are very loving and supportive,” Ami has said on air, trying to remain positive and adding:

“They’re all worried. I tell them, don’t worry. Please don’t worry. Be happy … keep the faith. Good or bad, it’s God’s will and we’ll walk that road.”

The situation is so dire that estranged members of Brown’s family are wondering if they’ll have a chance to reconcile before Ami dies.

Even Alaskan Bush People producers, such as Sheila McCormack, have weighed in.

“The radiation is five days a week for six weeks,” she said this week.

“That’s the direct radiation, not the chemotherapy. After the radiation once a week she goes to another building and they put an IV in her and she gets chemotherapy for four hours.”

As far as we know, the Browns remain in southern California while Ami undergoes this difficult treatment.

Our thoughts remain with her throughout the ordeal.

We hope we can end up including her in the following photo gallery when all is said and done:

Kylie Jenner Receives MAJOR Backlash for Wheelchair Photo

Kylie Jenner is wearing latex and exposing her butt in a new, very racy spread for Interview Magazine.

But it’s not this skin-showing that has many people upset at the 18-year old for her latest set of photos.

Instead, it’s one of those photos in particular: the snapshot posted above in which a scantily-clad Kylie Jenner is sitting in a wheelchair.

Many folks are taking rather extreme issue with Jenner donning S&M attire and raising her legs provocatively while using this handicapped apparatus as some sort of fashion accessory.

“You cannot both condemn and mock us for using wheelchairs when you let abled people use them for ‘FASHION,’ one critics wrote on Twitter.

“It’s disgusting.”

Another person with unfortunate wheelchair experience summed up this scandal even better, writing on Twitter:

“As someone in a wheelchair @KylieJenner @InterviewMag, this is offensive. My chair is not haute couture.”

Others out there in the social media world are calling out photographer Steven Klein, while associate director of the Paul K. Longmore Institute on Disability in San Francisco, Emily Smith Beitiks, said the following to CNN:

“It’s deeply disturbing. People with disabilities are already seen as powerless, and this just reinforces that.”

Jenner, meanwhile, is also facing accusations of animal abuse following the release of a new Snapchat video.

In response to the backlash, here is what Interview editors said via a statement to E! News:

At Interview, we are proud of our tradition of working with great artists and empowering them to realize their distinct and often bold visions

The Kylie Jenner cover by Steven Klein, which references the British artist Allen Jones, is a part of this tradition, placing Kylie in a variety of positions of power and control and exploring her image as an object of vast media scrutiny.

Throughout the Art issue, we celebrate a variety of women who are both the creators and subjects of their artistic work, and the Kylie feature aims to unpack Kylie’s status as both engineer of her image and object of attention.

Our intention was to create a powerful set of pictures that get people thinking about image and creative expression, including the set with the wheelchair. But our intention was certainly not to offend anyone.

Nicki Minaj Mocks Disabled Woman in Wheelchair, Pisses Off Fans

Nicki Minaj may not have had the year"s best celebrity Halloween costume (that title goes to LeBron James as Prince), but she"s attracting plenty of attention for her fairy godmother get-up.

Sadly, it"s for all the wrong reasons.

In a video clip that"s going viral today, a visibly intoxicated Nicki points her "magic wand" at a woman in a wheelchair and roars, "I command you to walk."

Needless to say, a lot of folks didn"t find the remark as funny as Nicki and her friends seemed to.

Nicki has been running damage control today by tweeting at Perez Hilton (one of the first to post the footage) that the woman sitting in the wheelchair was actually a makeup artist friend of hers.

"That"s NOT a disabled person and u know that. Are u that desperate for attention?" Nicki tweeted. "Bitch, u knew. That"s my friend in a scooter."

Some fans have countered that even if Nicki is telling the truth (a big "if," as based on the video, it doesn"t seem the woman was in on the joke), the clip is still offensive to people with physical disabilities.

Before she even "casts her spell," Nicki can be heard to remark, "Now, if only I could find Handi Man," a reference to the disabled superhero character played by Damon Wayans on the "90s sketch show In Living Color.

So regardless of whether the woman was someone that Nicki knew, Ms. Minaj was clearly having a laugh at the plight of people with disabilities, and she should probably be apologizing instead of justifying.

Also, Nicki, instead of being the 4 millionth celeb to indulge Perez Hilton"s trolling, maybe just take Taylor Swift"s advice from last night and let it go.

Father Rises from Wheelchair, Walks Daughter Down the Aisle

Consider yourselves warned: the following video is guaranteed to elicit some major tears.

That"s what happens when a father who has been confined to a wheelchair works his you-know-what off in physical therapy in order to walk – yes, walk! – his daughter down the aisle!

Indeed, say hello to Ralph Duquette.

A resident of Old Orchard Beach, Maine, Ralph is a survivor of leukemia who made it his mission to give daughter Heather away on her big day.

Why did he work so hard? How could he NOT have, Ralph tells local station WLBZ:

"When a father is presented with their daughter for the first time, they know how it"s gonna end.

"That they"ll have to give her away and I"d have to walk her down the aisle one of these days, you know? I"ve known that for all my life, and when I got ill it was like, it"s never gonna happen."

And yet it did happen. Watch the emotional, sentimental, awe-inspiring footage now.
