Jana Duggar: Forced to Care For Jessa"s Baby Now Too!

Single Jana Duggar, a.k.a. Cinderella, has made a career (or at least a reputation) out of being put upon, and now Jessa has made it even worse.

So maligned is Jana Duggar that some might not know she exists.

On January 12, she will turn 26; Jana and twin brother John David are older than all the Duggars except the family child molester / first-born Josh.

Rumors have long implied – likely with some, if not complete accuracy – that Jana has been forced into a life of indentured servitude by her parents.

While younger sisters Jill and Jessa Duggar have courted, married and produced babies of their own, Jana is home taking care of her little siblings.

And now her nephews, as well, because that’s just how it goes.

According to a new report, the burden of caring for her sister Jessa Duggar‘s newborn son Spurgeon has fallen squarely on Jana’s tired shoulders.

While Jessa gave birth to her first chid, Jana was on hand to help act as midwife alongside sister Jinger Diggar and their mother Michelle Duggar.

After Jessa’s home birth went wrong, or at least awry, she delivered a healthy baby boy, but since, Jana has been doing the heavy lifting at home.

Changing the baby boy’s diapers and taking on night nurse duties so her sister can rest, again, Jana has put needs, and life, last on the priority list.

Jessa, for her part, tells People magazine this week: “You never realize the responsibility of being a parent until you have a baby yourself.”

“I thought I’d sleep at night, but I hear him breathe or something and I take out a flashlight and shine it on his face to make sure he’s okay.”

That could be interpreted as a bit of an uncaring dig at her unmarried, childless sister, who is giving up her own life to be at her beck and call.

Or is that just us? Discuss below, but in closing: Free Jana!

Grey"s Anatomy Season 12 Episode 7 Recap: What"s the Beef?

Good news for Penny on Grey’s Anatomy Season 12 Episode 7:

She’s no longer the most hated doctor in Seattle!

Nathan took over that (dis)honor tonight, as fans discovered just what issue Owen has with the new surgeon in town.

We opened this installment with Meredith learning that a longtime patient only has a chance to survive if he has a skull transplant. Yes, a skull transplant, according to Jo.

Meredith was told off by Callie for sidelining Penny for this procedure, though Penny gets props for telling Callie to stop “embarrassing” her and to just stay out of it.

Penny did then tell Meredith that Callie was on point: either teach her or cut her loose. Don’t mess with her career.

Fresh off that confrontation, Meredith permitted Penny step up and observe in the OR, irritating Jo in the process. Fortunately, after Wilson blew up at Penny, Stephanie asked Pierce out for a drink.

Now, let’s get to Nathan: Owen was peeved that someone gave him privileges at the hospital. Who had given him these privileges?!?

Turns out, Maggie sort of had because Bailey hired Nathan to work under her… without informing Maggie of this fact.

Owen truly couldn’t handle the presence of his nemesis, who we saw have what appeared to be a PTSD-inspired incident at one point.

In the end, though, Maggie used an approach recommend to her by Nathan to save a patient’s life. So might they make a good team after all?

Toward the end of the episode, Owen blew up at Bailey for hiring Nathan (“It was thoughtless and it was reckless…”) and then at Nathan himself.

We were then treated to a cute Meredith-Owen moment in which the former told the latter she promised Cristina she wouldn’t let Owen get “dark and twisty.”

She then agreed to hate Nathan just because Owen does.

Elsewhere:

  • Bailey told Ben to kick Jackson out or else she would not sleep with him. So Ben, naturally, did so… and we then saw that Jackson and April had sex!

  • Richard proved to be a great wingman to Arizona at a lesbian bar.

So there you have.

The Vampire Diaries Season 7 Episode 6 Recap: Who"s for Dinner?

Lily hosted a dinner party on The Vampire Diaries Season 7 Episode 6.

And what was on the menu? A surprising serving of bait.

Because this installment was all about a bait… and switch!

See, promos and pre-episode hype all centered on the aforementioned shindig, a gathering meant to introduce Julian to his fellow Mystic Falls residents and bring peace to this sparse town.

Stefan, of course wanted to kill Julian right away for what he did to Valerie; while Damon wanted to drag out Lily’s happiness and hope and THEN drive a stake through Julian’s heart.

But after Stefan tried to failed to kill Julian, he confessed the whole baby thing to Damon and the brothers are now united.

Damon is totally down to kill Julian at Stefan’s say-so.

Elsewhere in this storyline, Julian tempted Mary-Louise by telling her it’s okay to feed on a maid and also admitted to Bo that something is off with him.

He’s crazy blood thirsty and power hungry and he told Lily that he needs protection of some kind from her sons. She said his plan (whatever it may be) will require the help of the entire family.

That was all well and good and interesting and all, but here’s where the switch came into play:

The true shocker of the night, the one that has counting down the seconds until The Vampire Diaries Season 7 Episode 7, was this:

CAROLINE IS PREGNANT WITH ALARIC’S TWINS!

Because of course she is, right?

See, Valerie determined that the member of the Gemini Coven were chanting a spell at Alaric and Jo’s wedding that would keep the twins alive.

She then used a locator spell and.. presto! She ended the hour by telling Caroline that she’s somehow carrying these kids.

Which sort of explains this week’s flash forward: it revealed Caroline and Alaric are engaged – and it gave us a look at a bloodied Caroline appearing on TV, telling Stefan to show himself at the behest of some unknown villain.

And in case all that was not enough to handle, Matt and Bonnie stumbled upon a classroom of compelled students, all, of whom had IVs in their arms.

Creepy! Mysterious!

Go ahead and watch The Vampire Diaries online if you need to catch up and check out a preview for next Thursday night:

Kim Zolciak Posts Bikini Selfie With Teenage Daughters, Quickly Deletes It

If you follow her on Instagram, you know that Kim Zolciak posts bikini selfies on a pretty regular basis.

In the past, her pics have been heavily criticized, mainly because Zolciak is terrible at Photoshop. However, her latest Instagram post has come under fire for a totally different reason:

That’s a photo of Kim with her two eldest daughters: Brielle, 18, and Ariana, 14 (!!!!).

Kim posted the pic last night with a caption reading, “It’s in the genes baby.”

Yeah, needless to say, the commenters had a field day with this one.

Not only is it weird to post racy pics of your teenage daughters, it’s sort of obnoxious to boast that they owe their looks to the DNA you passed along.

It’s particularly weird in this case, as Zolciak’s many plastic surgeries are well-documented, so it’s sort of ironic for her to boast about her flawless genes on social media.

Like we said, the Kim’s online followers really went off, with one even going so far as to say, “Most people were posting today for veterans, honoring them for their service and sacrifice. Leave it to you to post bikini pics!”

Not surprisingly, Kim quietly deleted the pic shortly after it was posted.
