Emilia Clarke Talks Game of Thrones Nude Scene: Those Weren"t Stunt Boobs!

Back in March, actor Ian McShane ruffled some feathers when he referred to Game of Thrones as a show about “t-ts and dragons.”

While some fans understandably felt that explanation was a tad simplistic, the show has gotten a lot of mileage out of both exposed breasts and fire-breathing beasts in the past.

Throughout the first third of Season 6, however, we saw very little of either, a fact the show partially made up for on last night’s episode.

Not only were we treated to a scene of fiery badass vengeance, we witnessed the triumphant return of Emilia Clarke’s boobs.

Given Clarke’s stance on Game of Thrones nudity, many assumed the scene was shot with the help of a body double and some CGI wizardry.

It’s a technique the show famously used during Lena Headey’s walk of shame in Season 5.

However, in this case, it seems Dany’s breasts have little in common with her dragons:

Not only are they far more reliable in a crisis, they’re real life flesh and blood.

Yes, despite seemingly swearing off nude scenes several years ago, Clarke bared her literally smoking body once again last night.

She even confirmed that what we saw was 100% her in a pre-show interview with Entertainment Weekly:

“I’d like to remind people the last time I took my clothes off was season 3,” she told the mag.

“That was a while ago. It’s now season 6. But this is all me, all proud, all strong. I’m just feeling genuinely happy I said ‘Yes.’ That ain’t no body double!”

Despite the fact that it looked as though hundreds of stunned Dothraki were looking on, Clarke said the scene was actually shot on a closed set with a skeleton crew.

“Taking off my clothes is not the easiest thing, but with the magic of the effects, I don’t have to do a season 1 and go on a cliff and do it,” she noted. “I’m in control of it.”

Last year, Clarke clarified her position on sex scenes, saying that she was comfortable disrobing on camera, but didn’t want to be defined by it:

“It’s difficult to be misquoted and it’s nice to have something like Instagram to say the truth,” Clarke says. “How many times has [Daario actor] Michiel Huisman been asked about the fact he’s taken his clothes off a bunch?

“Is that even a discussion? No. So I’m doing it this year and people can talk about it and I’m ready to answer any questions about it, basically.”

So there you have it. Maybe now that the nudity is out of the way, we can focus on the fact that Badass Dany is back, bringing foes to their knees without the help of her trusty dragons.

Watch Game of Thrones online to relive all of the show’s stunning climaxes … and yes, there’s plenty of boobs and dragons, too.

Mariah Carey: I Am GLAAD"s Most Famous Celebrity!

Just because you’re an honoree doesn’t mean an awards show has to cater to your every whim.

JK.  This is Hollywood, of course they’re not going to ignore insane demands.

At the 27th Annual GLAAD Media Awards on May 14th, Mariah Carey held things up for about an hour-and-a-half so that she had the red carpet to herself.

“The red carpet had to be clear of all other celebrities,” an insider told Radar Online.

Carey is famous for demanding that her “good side” be photographed only, and you can bet your bottom dollar that was the case on Saturday night.

“She told a reporter that they had to move the camera to catch her ‘good side,"” the source added.

Carey spoke about the significance of the night’s ceremony, which is great considering she was the only celebrity on the red carpet.

“Some awards are about statistics and things like that, and some are about like something a little more real. Do you know what I mean?” Carey said, according to Billboard Magazine.

“This feels like one of those moments, so I think it’s great.”

Once inside the venue, Carey was her usual gracious self.

“Thank you for the unconditional love,” she told the audience after accepting The Ally Award.

“Because it’s very unusual for me to experience that. I don’t have much of it.

“So, I thank you and wish all of you love, peace, harmony, and, as my 5-year-old son likes to say, ‘Boobies and butts!"”

Carey also shut down a rumor that she will perform at her own wedding to Australian billionaire James Packer.

“Why would you sing at your own wedding,” she asked, according to People.

“It’s obnoxious!”

So is having people clear a red carpet so you’re the only talent available for photos and interviews, but we’re not keeping track of such things!

Meri Brown: Catfish Scandal Gets Even Worse For Sister Wives Star

You have to feel a little bad for someone who is stuck in a frustratingly lonely polygamous relationship, and seeks companionship on the world wide web, only to be duped by a woman posing as a man.

Last year, Sister Wives star Meri Brown admitted to falling for a stranger online.  The reason for the admission was that Brown was being blackmailed by her new friend, for whom she had developed romantic feelings.

Jacquelyn “Jackie” Overton introduced herself to Brown as Samuel “Sam” Cooper, and has made quite the name for herself by exposing her relationship with Brown.

According to Starcasm, Overton made public photos sent to her by Brown, and posted personal voicemail messages left by Brown.

In January, Overton used her alias to publish Almost Meri’ed, a book detailing the affair.

In April, Overton published Almost Defame’ed,a follow-up which goes into the fallout of their relationship after it became public.

It’s weird.  this whole thing is so damn weird.

Additionally, Overton spoke with five screenwriters interested in adapting her book into a movie.  It’s important to note here that Overton is still acting as Cooper, but has not yet revealed what she looks like.

In case anyone thought Overton was merely obsessed with exposing Brown, she had this to say on her blog:

“I wish her all of my best. I am open to talking to her again someday. I really do believe in this lifetime she will tell the truth and admit that I am real, I am a man, and I did not catfish her.

“I know she is a good person, she has a big heart. I know she will do right by me. I know it. It may take her years. Years is all I’ve got left to give her. So I will wait for it to come and I will immediately forget it and accept the apology. I have forgiven her already because I really do understand the one thing no one else sees. Meri is so scared to tell him and her family that she fell completely head over heels in love with me. That we had sex, that she really was going to leave Kody.

“She is so scared she is controlling her words instead of just opening up with the truth and saying Yes, I fell in love with Samuel.

“She is so scared to lose everything for me. I know this because when I fell in love with Meri all those months ago, that’s the exact place I was at with myself.

“If I fall for this spiritually married woman, am I really ready to lose it all if we get caught someday? Can I face God, my Church, my family, friends, and all the people in the world that will know who I am? I was there where she’s at. I know how hard it can be. So I forgive her for telling the entire world that I catfished her. I did not catfish Meri Brown.”

I…I’ve got nothing.  This whole thing is so confusing.

Michelle Duggar Clashes With Fellow TLC Star Over Bathroom Law

Long before North Carolina’s so-called “bathroom law” kicked off a national conversation about transgender rights, Michelle Duggar was already warning her fellow Arkansans about the nonexistent danger of men strolling into their daughters’ restrooms.

Back in 2014, Michelle recorded a robocall for an Arkansas politician who was basically running on a policy of personally looking into everyone’s pants and deciding where they should pee.

So you would think that Michelle would be particularly vocal these days, what with the entire country finally arguing about a wedge issue she helped dream up years ago.

Instead, Michelle has been surprisingly quiet about the bathroom law, and not only because the topic of examining people’s genitals against their will is a sensitive one for her family these days.

It seems Michelle might be keeping a lid on it as part of her ongoing effort to appease her TLC bosses and one of her fellow stars at the network.

The clip above is a promo for I Am Jazz, which is soon to be entering its second season on TLC.

The show features Jazz Jennings, a transgender teen who shares her struggles and triumphs with a good-sized audience on her own reality show.

Is Jazz the reason that Michelle has been staying quiet on what was once her favorite issue?

We don’t know, but the Duggar matriarch certainly doesn’t carry the kind of clout that she once did at the network.

After 19 Kids and Counting was canceled in the wake of the Josh Duggar sex scandals, Michelle and her family had to do a lot of convincing in order to get back on the air.

As it is, Jill & Jessa: Counting On is on the brink of cancelation due to advertisers pulling out as a result of the intense controversy surrounding the family.

There was a time when Michelle might’ve complained about sharing a network with someone who’s views so sharply contrast with her own.

These days, she knows network execs would tell her not to let the door hit her on the way out.

Of course, you can bet she still has little to no compassion for Jazz and her family, who are seen responding to death threats in the show’s upcoming family.

“I want people to understand, the hate is real,” Jazz says in a recent promo for the show.

Sadly, she’s very right about that.
