The Real Housewives of Potomac Season 2 Episode 1 Recap: Don"t Let The Zip Code Fool Ya!

Have you missed the ladies of Potomac in their absence from our screens?

If so, then The Real Housewives of Potomac Season 2 Episode 1 was most definitely the episode you were craving. It had it all: Catfights, Fashion and a whole lot of shade.

When the episode got underway, Gizelle Bryant was trying on a new wig and implying she knew better than Beyonce.

“Becky and all of her good hair don’t have nothin’ on me.”

Yeah, we believe you Gizelle. If that was not self-centered enough, Gizelle then pleaded with her hairdresser to let her speak about her new boyfriend.

“Can we talk about my man? … Kevin. … I dunno if we’re gonna mingle, but we’re at least gonna give it a shot.” Um, Gizelle, it sure seems like you don’t know much about your man.

“If he comes in a short package, that’s fine. As long as not everything is short,” she concluded.

After that, we checked in with Charrisse — who was no longer reeling from the events that paved the way for her husband to ditch her.

“Charrisse last year was a very unhappy person and holding onto damaged goods. … Charrisse don’t live here anymore.”

Okay.

Charrisse also revealed that she sent a cease and desist letter to Charrisse for chatting smack about her to Andy Cohen on Watch What Happens Live.

Meanwhile, Ashley revealed that things between her and Michael were not good and part of that was down to their restaurant not doing good business.

“We’re eight months in, and it’s been a very difficult time. … People weren’t really digging our food.” She then opened up about their dire finances, saying, “Michael has invested over 1.5 million dollars, and he’s taking care of it until we make ends meet. It’s putting a strain on my relationship.”

That’s a whole lot of money to invest in something that appears to be failing.

Ashley was not the only cast member struggling with dire straits on the financial side of things. Robyn revealed that things were not going well.

“As a result of all of our financial challenges, our house ended up going into foreclosure.” She then opened up about her husband, Juan and his desire to become a couple again.

“Juan wants us to be a couple again, but there’s a block up that’s preventing me from looking at our situation as a relationship.”

After that, Charisse revealed that her husband wanted to part ways with her.

“He’s wanting a divorce.” She continued, “I decided that you know what? My children are what’s important. … We haven’t talked about it so much. … Hopefully, he gets a job.”

Later, Gizelle stirred up some drama for Charrisse. Robyn was trying to bring the feud to an end, but defended Charrisse in the process.

“I don’t feel like she was calling you a whore. … Didn’t she say something like, ‘I’m not going around calling you a whore?’”

“You were wrong for putting her business out there.”

However, Robyn’s words were not enough to tone down Gizelle, who went forward with some more claims about her former friend.

“She has told me she cheats on Eddie,” Gizelle claimed. Is she lying? We have no idea.

At the Manifest Your Destiny competition charity event, Gizelle tried to stir up some more drama. This time it was all down to a dancer named Teon who was grinding on Ashley.

Ashley did win first place in the competition, but Charrisse was too busy turning her attentions to Gizelle.

“I did not call you a f–king whore. Don’t let the zip code fool you, baby.” Gizelle seemed to retreat, but is she just biding her time to ruin Charrisse’s life?

We have no idea, but we’re here for the season to find out!

The Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 9 Episode 19 Recap: Side Dishes and Side Pieces

Was Kandi and Todd’s restaurant venture a colossal failure?

That was one of the more pressing questions as we went into The Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 9 Episode 19, but it was actually just the tip of the iceberg.

When the episode got underway, Todd was letting Kandi know they were way behind schedule if they wanted the restaurant opening to have an impact.

Kandi, however, felt the best way to ensure they were not left red-faced was to put as much work in while they still could. More on that in a little.

We switched gears to Kenya and Sheree talking about their recent breakups.

“I just feel like I’ve been protecting [Bob] for so many years,” Sheree claimed. She felt that Bob’s comments in Hawaii helped her get over him.

Kenya then opened up about her failed relationship with Matt. Yeah, the guy who seems to smash objects when he gets pissed with Kenya.

“His desire to marry me has never gone away,” Kenya revealed, before saying she still loved him.

“The more he revealed himself, the more I realized that he was not the one for me.”

Are these two women going to remain friends for more than two weeks? Time will tell.

Things took a shocking turn when Todd received a phone call from Apollo Nida. Yes, he made an escape from jail and needed a place to crash.

Of course, we’re kidding! The phone call from Nida was to boast about having a new girlfriend, who was “an upgrade” from Phaedra.

He then said that Phaedra was trying to fleece him and divorce behind his back, so he said things were going to get ugly for her.

With Phaedra’s divorce very much up in the air, Cynthia was ecstatic her own divorce was over, but it was a bittersweet affair.

“Peter changed the course of my life, and for all of the great things that came out of that, I’ll always be grateful,” she revealed to the camera.

“I’m going to be 50 years old, and I feel like this first 50 was for the people around me that I love and this next 50 is for me.”

The day of the restaurant opening finally arrived, but Kandi worried Todd was not going to be able to pull it off. Todd then dropped the bomb that he was $ 100,000 over budget.

That’s a lot of extra money to spend on a business venture that looked set to fail. Porsha never made the guest list, so Phaedra went to her house and spent the night.

Things took a crazy turn when Sherien walked in with an attitude.

“Boom, I’m here!”

With everyone shocked to the core, Sherien claimed she was only there to represent Apollo because he was in prison.

“What am I supposed to do with this chick?” Kandi asked the camera.

“I don’t want any problems.”

Kandi then asked questions about the relationship and Sherien did not hold back.

Wifey wasn’t around, so I was there more than she was,” Sherien replied with a smile. “He’s been away for two years. She’s only been there twice.”

Apollo then made a phone call and revealed that the divorce was not finalized. That made everyone question whether anything Phaedra said was actually true.

It did seem like Sherien said anything she could to cause some drama and succeeded.

What did you think of the developments?

Big Little Lies Season 2: Will It Happen?!?

Big Little Lies has come to an explosive end.

But did the Season 1 finale on Sunday night mark the end?

That’s what fans of the HBO drama want to know.

On the explosive finale, we were finally taken to the school’s trivia night, which had been teased all season long.

And we finally learned both who died and who killed this individual. (Warning: SPOILERS AHEAD!)

It turned out that Celeste (Nicole Kidman) approached the awful Perry (Alexander Skarsgard) and finally said she was leaving him, a development we’d been dying to witness after endless acts of abuse … which have now begun to impact the couple’s two sons.

It was also revealed that Max, one of their twins, was the bully that had been hurting Renata’s daughter throughout the season.

Not too shocking, right?

But just you wait…

Celeste asked Madeline (Reese Witherspoon) and Jane (Shailene Woodley) to help her with Perry, only for Jane to then realize he was the man who raped her.

In a chaotic and climactic scene, Renata teamed up with Jane to take Perry down, with Bonnie swooping in to push this villain to his death.

“He becomes nuts again,” director Jean-Marc Vallee told The Hollywood Reporter of that conclusion, adding:

“But that would be the last time because he doesn’t realize he has the ultimate force of nature in front of him. These women are so powerful. Together, they are as powerful as the ocean and the ocean is f-cking angry.”

Vallee also spoke to the publication about the future of the series, which brought in big names and strong reviews.

Does that mean a second season is on the way?

The series wrapped up with the women being watched on the beach.

There appears to be a direction it could go in for another set of episodes, if everyone involved is on board, that is.

“The detective doesn’t want to let go and that’s how we finish that,” Vallee said of the possibility.

“And we think, “Did they do the right thing? What will happen?"”

The director doesn’t sound as if he thinks there’s more story to tell here, however.

“Now it’s up to the audience and their imagination to figure out. To do a season two, I’m not for it. Let’s move on and do something else!” he said, adding:

“If there’s an opportunity to reunite with Reese, Nicole and these characters of course, I’ll be a part of it, but Big Little Lies One is a one-time deal. Big Little Lies Two? Nah.

“The end is for the audience to talk about. Imagine what you want to imagine and that’s it. We won’t give you a season two because it’s so good like this. Why spoil it?”

That’s a good question and a fair point.

But still! This show was so much fun!

What do you think? Do you want to see Big Little Lies Season 2?

Keeping Up With the Kardashians Recap: Kim"s Last Ditch Effort!

Was Kim Kardashian serious about carrying another baby?

Or was this yet another ploy to save the show from plummeting ratings – or maybe a little of both, because what’s a health crisis without exploitation?

Last night’s Keeping Up addressed that and much more.

Picking up where last week left off, Keeping Up with the Kardashians Season 13 Episode 4 found Kim getting right down to business.

Of trying to save KUWTK from tanking ratings, that is.

“Kanye and I’ve always talked about having more kids, but after what I went through in Paris, the urgency is even greater,” Kardashian said.

Seamless pivot from crisis to potential storyline there.

“Being a stay at home mom has been so refreshing,” she added, without irony, “and I’d love nothing more than to expand my family.”

Stay at home mom? Is she serious right now?

For all the special things Kim has done and continues to do as a parent, the idea that it’s a full-time job for her is absolutely hilarious.

If you watch Keeping Up with the Kardashians online, you know Kim has been told that her body might not be able to take a pregnancy.

Well, her body in its current condition, anyway.

“I have to go and repair my uterus because I decided I’m going to try to have one more baby. Isn’t that exciting?” Kim told the family.

The family was more worried than happy.

“I have to have a surgery on my uterus to kind of repair this hole, so they need to, like, clean it out and then there’s scar tissue,” Kim said.

“It will still be a really high-risk pregnancy,” she added, to which Khloe asked the obvious question on everyone’s minds in this situation:

“So, why do you want to do it again?”

Because Khloe, sometimes, the ratings are just that low that you’ll feign interest in a lot of things if it means quality promos and stories.

Sorry, here’s her actual answer:

“I’ve gone through so much with really bad deliveries that the doctors don’t feel like it’s safe for me to conceive again myself.”

“This surgery is the one last thing I can try. I want my kids to have siblings. I want to know I did everything I could to make this happen.”

Later, she went through with it.

“I definitely am in pain, but if the end result is that I get to carry my baby, it’s all worth it,” Kim told the cameras. “Hopefully this is successful.”

Then she took a fertility test, though, and learned that despite the surgery, the results said “for sure now, you should not carry [a] baby.”

The devastation began to sink in, and quickly.

“Not only has this been really painful, but now hearing that I shouldn’t carry any more kids, it couldn’t be worse,” Kim lamented.

“I had a full breakdown. I just, like, give up.”

She said she and Kanye would look into having a surrogate carry their third kid next, and “whatever is meant to be will be,” she noted.

Meanwhile, the Kards were going hard at Rob over his health, with Khloe going so far as to ask if he wants to “be around” for Dream.

“When my mom and my sisters gang up on me, it doesn’t really motivate me. It pushes me away,” Rob said, and he does have a point.

“I can’t f–king talk about this right now.”

Tough love is great … but only to a point.

Unlike her brother, Khloe has no problem motivating herself to get in shape, but she still revealed to Kourtney what keeps her up at night.

Her fashion line. She needed to move 150,000 pairs of jeans in three months to please investors and her business partner, a lofty goal.

“I have so much anxiety,” Khloe said, noting that such a sales figure has “never happened in denim history.” Plus, there’s personal anxiety.

“Kylie [Jenner] sells hundreds of thousands of units in like, what? Three minutes?” Khloe said. “I know we’re not necessarily competing.”

“Still,” she admits, “I have always been known as the fat sister and now that I’m over that, I don’t want to be known as the failing sister.”

That’s certainly not happening.

Khloe’s sales were off the charts right out of the gate, proving that she is not the fat sister, or the failing sister, in any sense of the word.

Just the anxious sister.

Perhaps the insecurity and fear of failure is what drives her, like a lot of people in business, because Khloe’s hustle is killin’ it of late.

Respect.
