The 2015 Emmy Awards have come and gone.
Hosted by Andy Samberg, the biggest night in television saw Mad Men honored for its final season, while Jeffrey Tambor took home a trophy for his groundbreaking role on Transparent.

Game of Thrones took home this piece of gold, as well as 11 others. That set a mark for most series wins in one year for a single show.
2. LEAD ACTOR IN A DRAMA
Finally! It took until Mad Men went off the air, but Jon Hamm won his first Emmy in this category. About time, right?!?
3. LEADS ACTRESS IN A DRAMA
How to Get Away with Murder? More like how to make history: Viola Davis became the first African-American woman to ever win this award.
4. SUPPORTING ACTRESS IN A DRAMA
Uzo Aduba, Orange Is the New Black. The show was categorized as a Comedy in 2014 and a Drama in 2015, meaning Aduba won this award in differnt categories for the same character.
5. SUPPORTING ACTOR IN A DRAMA
It was a big night for Game of Thrones and another win for Peter Dinklage, whose life and career have changed a result of portraying Tyrion Lannister.
6. OUTSTANDING COMEDY
Veep dominated the comedic category. And for good reason: it is downright hilarious. Go watch it now.
