At the Emmys on Sunday, Viola Davis became the first black woman to win the Emmy for Best Lead Actress in a drama and as a result, she gave an AH-Mazing speech about equality for black women in Hollywood.
Well when she stopped to talk to Ellen DeGeneres today on her talk show (below), she revealed a bit more about her night!

Not only did she tell Ellen that she drank a bit before the show, but she revealed that her husband was actually shocked by her speech and that he had no idea that she was going to say any of that!
Viola also told the host that she was clueless that she received a standing ovation — because she was distracted by a certain fast food that was just off stage!
