Courtney Stodden is pregnant with her first child, according to a new report.
The teen bride and her husband Doug Hutchison announced the news to close friends and family last week, according to Reality Tea, which obtained access to the announcement through a source.
The couple made the revelation through a video dated May 11, in which Doug films Courtney waiting on the pregnancy test results.
When she gets the confirmation, she sits down and Doug asks her how she’s feeling.
“A little overwhelmed,” she responded.
That can happen the moment you find out you’re carrying the child of a man who’s 34 years your senior.
The news comes just a few days shy of the couple’s fifth wedding anniversary, while the longevity of their marriage still shocks us.
Courtney married Doug when she was just 16 and he was 50. It still gives us great pain to write that sentence today.
Back in October, rumors surfaced that Courtney was pregnant.
She was caught buying a pregnancy test in a pharmacy, but the news turned out to be bogus.
In fact, some suspected the entire thing was staged for publicity, since Courtney had been out of the media for some time.
Then in March, Court debunked pregnancy rumors, saying she wasn’t sure if the timing was right for a child.
“I don’t know if we’re ready for a baby right now,” she said.
“We have two little fur babies, so those are kind of our babies right now. But, you never know!”
You never know if these rumors are true, either.
Thus far, Courtney has not shared the news on social media, which she updates frequently.
