Charlie Sheen Stops Taking HIV Meds; Actor"s Condition Worsens

As you’ve probably heard, Charlie Sheen revealed that he’s HIV positive in an interview with NBC’s Matt Lauer back in November.

In the weeks that followed, Sheen claimed to have sworn off booze and drugs, and insisted that he was following every order given to him by his doctor.

Unfortunately, it seems that Sheen’s doctor is a controversial quack who claims to be able to cure any disease, and who instructed Sheen to stop taking the life-saving medications that had previously been prescribed to him.

Sheen recently sat for an interview with Dr. Oz, during which he revealed – much to the Oz’s dismay – that he had recently traveled to Mexico in order to seek medical advice from a doctor named Sam Chachoua.

“I’m been off my meds for about a week now,” he said in a pre-taped segment for The Dr. Oz Show Tuesday. “Am I risking my life? Sure. So what? I was born dead. That part of it doesn’t phase me at all.”

Oz spoke to Chachoua who described Sheen as “the first adult in history to go HIV negative.”

“I drew some blood from him and I injected myself with it,” Chachoua continued. “I said, ‘Charlie, if I don’t know what I’m doing, then we’re both in trouble now aren’t we?"”

Unfortunately, it seems that if Chachoua is telling the truth about injecting himself with Sheen’s blood, he’s in a good deal of trouble, indeed.

“I’m a little off my game because right before I walked out here, I got some results I was disappointed about,” Sheen told Oz during their interview.

“I had been non-detectable, non-detectable and checking the blood every week and then found out the numbers are back up.”

When Oz informed Sheen that the reason the HIV in his blood had returned to detectable levels for the first time in several years was because he’d stopped taking his meds, the actor became defensive.

“I didn’t see it as Russian roulette,” Sheen said. “I didn’t see it as a complete dismissal of the conventional course we’ve been on. I’m not recommending that anyone – I’m presenting myself as a type of guinea pig.”

Sadly, it seems that Sheen is sticking with the reckless lifestyle that helped to make him one of Hollywood’s most notorious stars.

Unfortunately, this time, he may be putting himself in more immediate danger than ever before.

Tom Cruise Really Held His Breath For SIX MINUTES In Mission Impossible Stunt! Here Are 20 Other Actors Who Almost Died On Movie Sets!

OK, holding onto a plane as it takes off is dangerous — but this is just impossible!

In Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation, Tom Cruise has to dive into an underwater computer database to break into- you know what? It’s complicated.

The point is he has to hold his breath for a LONG time — so the star learned to hold his breath for SIX MINUTES! For real! He revealed in new behind-the-scenes footage:

“Normally in underwater sequences, people hold their breath for 10 seconds, 15 seconds max. So I had to prove to everyone that it was actually safe, and spend time with the safety guys and the safety officers to show them, look, not only is it safe, it’s better that I know how to hold my breath because I’m going to be very relaxed. No one’s going to have to rush in, no one’s going to have to panic.”

That man sure cares about making movies — he’s willing to risk his life!

Of course, he’s not the only movie star who’s gotten into dangerous territory…

Z STAFF

0927-hugh-jackman-dog-park-workout-PCN-01Hugh Jackman was dogged by both his trainer and his pooches during a workout Saturday in NYC.

Hugh was doing sit ups with the trainer as his dogs, Allegra and Dali cruised the park.  It seems it’s a thing — the Dog Pound fitness group.

Multitasking … it’s what makes Australians in America great.

Mindy Kaling Dishes On What She Learned From Kim Kardashian & Why Actors Who Hate Filming Sex Scenes Are Lying!

We couldn’t love Mindy more!

Mindy Kaling‘s new book, Why Not Me?, hit shelves yesterday and has already given us a few AH-Mazing highlights!

In Kaling’s second book she has quite a bit to talk about including some of her fears as well as getting drunk at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner.

Related: Mindy Takes A Stand Against Body Shaming Insults!

But probably two of the most interesting tidbits she reveals in the book are what she learned from Kim Kardashian West and why actors who say they hate sex scenes secretly love them!

The Mindy Project star revealed that:

“The most valuable thing I learned from Kim Kardashian is that your arm must never lie flat against your body. I remember hearing her say that when you put your hand on your hip, it makes your arm look thinner and draws attention to your waist. I tried it and I loved it! So I started doing it whenever I was getting my picture taken.”

As for those steamy on camera sex scenes, Mindy isn’t buying it when actors talk about how awkward they are and that they hate filming them! She says:

“There must be lots of other actors who love doing sex scenes too, right? Wrong. If you interview any actor about having to do sex scenes, you always get the same answer: they ‘hate’ doing them. I am here to tell you they are all lying. Every last one of ’em. Obviously on-screen sex is not actual penetrative sex, but as any religious high schooler will tell you, simulating sex can be pretty damn enjoyable as well.”

This isn’t too surprising as Mindy’s character has dated QUITE a few studs including James Franco, Tim Daly, and her Office co-star B.J. Novak! Speaking of studmuffins, the actress has an AH-Mazing anecdote about drunkenly meeting Bradley Cooper at the Correspondents dinner in Washington D.C. She remembers:

“I saw John Kerry talking to Bradley Cooper. I’m from Massachusetts and I’m friends with Ed Helms, so I figured I had hit the conversational jackpot with these two. I was drunk and feeling a little important, so I wandered over and interrupted them. ‘Hi! I’m Mindy Kaling. I’m from Massachusetts. Ed Helms was in The Hangover and was also on my old show, The Office,’ I said cockily…’Yes,’ Bradley responded. ‘I know Ed.’ I would give our interaction a solid B-minus.”

LOLz!

She’s never afraid to speak her mind which pretty much sums up exactly why we love her!

Definitely check out her new book Why Not Me? and don’t miss The Mindy Project‘s fourth season which is currently airing on Tuesdays on HULU!
