Matt Baier: Sued For Trashing Farrah Abraham in New Tell-All?

Matt Baier has written a book.

That’s an absurd sentence that might be made slightly less ridiculous with the help of some crucial quotation marks:

Matt Baier has “written” a “book.” (Read: He and a ghostwriter slapped some pages together in order to cash in on his fame before Amber Portwood comes to her senses and dumps his ass.)

Baier’s memoir is set to be released next month, but large portions of the text have already leaked online, and lots of people involved with Teen Mom: OG are not happy with what they’re reading.

Baier was reportedly under strict instructions to let MTV lawyers review his manuscript before the book went to press.

He complied, and the attorneys chopped a whopping 15,000 words out of the book.

But this is 2017, and secrets are a thing of the past, so naturally, portions of the offending text wound up online.

Not surprisingly, the parts that pissed people off have to with Baier’s feud with Farrah Abraham and production details that MTV would prefer to keep secret.

Indeed, Baier does throw some serious shade at Farrah, writing:

“Farrah is going to be a sad, wretched excuse for a former television celebrity … Her family is going to turn their backs on her.”

But why would MTV care if Matt drags Farrah?

Well, apparently lawyers for the network took issue with Baier’s claims that Farrah manipulates the her co-stars and producers with “by way of threats and intimidation.”

He also accuses the show of instigating drama and essentially stirring up his feud with Abraham.

At one point in the book, Matt claims that he and Amber were instructed to “do their research” and dig up dirt on Farrah’s boyfriend, Simon Saran.

“An MTV producer told Amber and I to [insult Saran],” Baier writes at one point, adding that the feud is now very real and requires no further prodding from producers.

Given that the feud culminated in a physical fight that left Farrah’s father permanently injured, it’s not hard to see why MTV would want to deny involvement.

Speaking of Michael Abraham, Baier also alleges that a Teen Mom: OG producer informed him that Farrah’s dad has a “history of physically assaulting people.”

All reality shows create artificial drama between cast members, but Baier seems to suggest that the Teen Mom team really went out of its way to ensure that Team Amber and Team Farrah hated one another.

Sources close to the situation tell page Six that Matt has been chewed out, but will not be fired from the show.

That’s not surprising, as you really can’t axe Matt without also getting rid of Amber.

So yeah – Matt can get away with a lot, and you can expect him to run his mouth more in the very near future.

Simon Saran SLAMS Amber Portwood & Matt Baier Over Wedding Invite!

For someone who seems to be trying to make a career out of being a douche, Simon Saran simply isn’t very good at trash talk.

We suppose if you talk about the quantity of shade thrown he’s posting GOAT-level numbers, but the humor is on the level of rpast night at a community college frat house.

Simon’s not sending anyone running to the burn unit, is what we’re saying.

These days, the main target of his weak-sauce disses is Amber Portwood and her fiance, Matt Baier.

Now, you really couldn’t ask for an easier target than Baier.

The man is a middle-aged Teen Mom obsessive and deadbeat dad who’s marrying Amber after unsuccessfully cyber-stalking several of her co-stars.

Saran has taken shots at Baier on several occasions, but they never quite land the way they should.

His latest attempt at insult comedy was inspired by Amber’s recent comments about her upcoming wedding.

To the surprise of many Portwood revealed that she plans to invite all of her Teen Mom co-stars – including Simon and Farrah Abraham – to watch her say “I do.”

“Every single Teen Mom [star] will be invited,” Amber told People.

“Every single one from Teen Mom 2 and Teen Mom OG.”

It was a surprising announcement, as the last time we saw all four castmembers in the same place was when Amber and Farrah fought at last season’s Teen Mom: OG reunion show.

Simon might actually be the thirstiest of the franchise’s deeply parched star, so it was only a matter of time before he sounded off on Amber’s comments.

And, as expected, his smack talk was as lame as Farrah’s claims that her porn debut was actually an amateur sex tape:

“I haven’t been to a circus in a while, it could be fun,” Saran told Radar Online.

Bruh.

You bothered to make a statement, but you couldn’t come up with anything better than comparing their wedding to a circus?

If you follow him on Twitter, you know that Simon is constantly trying to pick a fight with Amber and Matt.

Saran’s insults are usually uninspired, but this latest is corny even by his standards.

“All of a sudden everyone is buying a house,” he joked when Portwood and Baier were looking at homes this season.

“Everyone got their MTV bonuses and got no jobs! You actually need to have a job and do something with your life to have an office Matt!”

That’s a bit more like it, but before we can co-sign that burn, we’d like to know what percentage of Simon’s income is Teen Mom-related.

If it’s more than half, he surrenders his right to take shots at Matt’s joblessness.

Sorry, Simon.

Them’s the arbitrary rules we just made up.

Amber Portwood: I"m STILL Marrying Matt Baier & Here"s Who"s Invited!

Despite a relationship filled with more red flags than China, Amber Portwood is still planning to marry Matt Baier.

Baier, as you may know, is a deadbeat dad with an indeterminate number of kids by an indeterminate number of women.

The only thing we know for sure is that Baier owed thousands in back child support because he’s the worst.

But where were we?

Oh, right – Amber is undoing years of progress and proving that decision-making is still not her strong suit by putting a ring on this dipsh-t, and she wants all her famous friends to witness the tragedy in person!

Amber and Matt are in the late stages of wedding prep (They’re planning to get hitched sometime this spring.), and it seems Baier has seized the reins in termsa of finalizing the guest list:

“[Matt] is completely into it, even more than me maybe,” Amber tells People magazine in an interview published today.

“He is writing down the guest list and we already have 200 people on it, I don’t even know 50 of them!”

So who among Amber’s co-stars will be invited to attend?

You might be surprised by her response: 

“Every single Teen Mom [star] will be invited,” she says

“Every single one from Teen Mom 2 and Teen Mom OG.”

So … did she not watch the reunion show where she had to be physically restrained to prevent her from attacking Farrah Abraham?

Because we did, and it was pretty damn brutal:

Initially, we were surprised that Amber is inviting everyone from across the entire Teen Mom franchise, but the more we think about it, it’s not all that shocking:

After all, Matt Baier made the guest list, and Matt Baier is Teen Mom Superfan Number One.

He only started hitting on Amber after he flirted with Jenelle Evans and Farrah on social media and got shot down by both.

Of course, he wants all the stars of both series to attend his wedding!

He’s been dreaming of this day for years!

 

But hey, Amber seems unconcerned, so maybe she knows something we don’t.

“I don’t know if I feel frantic or anything,” Portwood says when asked about pre-wedding jitters.

“I’m kind of scared — not for any particular reason — just the fact that I’m getting married. We are on time and we pretty much know exactly what we want to do.”

She adds:

“We’re just trying to stay level-headed, because there’s a lot going on right now.”

She’s right about that.

There is so much going on in the run-up to this wedding. 

If only some of it were good.

Matt Baier SLAMS Farrah Abraham: She"s a LOSER!

Back in December, the feud between Amber Portwood and Farrah Abraham came to a head when Amber’s fiance, Matt Baier, attacked Farrah’s dad during a Teen Mom: OG reunion special.

The consensus among fans is that Matt was way out of line, but it seems the Abrahams shouldn’t hold their breath awaiting an apology.

As you may have heard, Baier is publishing a memoir, because who wouldn’t want to read about the inspirational saga of a a forty-something Teen Mom obsessive weaseling his way onto the show he loves?

The book has received a lot of attention due to the baffling decision to feature a nude Baier on the cover, but we now know that what’s inside the tell-all is almost as cringe-worthy.

Excerpts from Baier’s book keep popping up online, and while we assume the “leaks” are choreographed PR stunts, we’re not so sure why the book’s publishers think posting large chunks of the book online is a good idea.

From what we’ve read, the horrendously-titled You Have No F–king Idea is a lot like Baier himself – by turns boring and revolting, and stuck on the idea that a tendency to over-share can serve as a substitute for a personality.

The latest leaks help illuminate Matt’s beef with Farrah Abraham, aka the most confusing reality show feud of all time.

Farrah is openly and objectively a bad person, so we should be on board with anyone who calls her out on her bullsh-t, but Matt is just as much of a shameless opportunist, and his trash talk mostly amounts to slut-shaming and petty name-calling:

“Everybody who comes into contact with Farrah seems to have ‘victimized’ her,” her writes at one point, before blaming Teen Mom producers for the fact that he and Farrah’s boyfriend, Simon Saran, aren’t besties:

“An MTV producer told Amber and I to [insult Saran],” Baier writes before adding:

“He loves to hide behind his computer and talk sh-t about what a tough guy he is.”

On the topic of Farrah, Matt has this to say:

“Is she interesting to watch? No. She’s not some unique, polarizing figure with passionate opinions. She’s just mean.”

He’s not wrong.

But then, as he always does, Matt takes it too far:

“Farrah is going to be a sad, wretched excuse for a former television celebrity … Her family is going to turn their backs on her.”

“They’re desperate for attention and fame … Think about the future Abrahams.”

Matt then takes a break from conjuring up a sad future for Farrah to claim that she’s had too much work donw for him to “find her attractive” and imply that she’s lying about being raped by James Deen.

Matt, you went and made us side with Farrah Abraham.

And we’ll never forgive you for it.

Amber Portwood & Matt Baier: Secretly Married?!

Last month, social media was awash with rumors that Amber Portwood and Matt Baier got married during a trip to Vegas.

It wasn’t hard to see how fans got that impression.

After all, Amber and Matt cryptically hinted that that they were headed to Sin City for a wedding (without saying whose).

Her boyfriend then captioned a pic with the song lyrics:

“Going to the chapel, and we’re gonna get married…”

Predictably, Amber and Matt were bombarded with questions from fans who noticed these comments and/or took the bait.

At first, they totally ignored them, further fueling speculation that the Teen Mom twosome were low-key man and wife.

Eventually, the couple claimed they were in Vegas for a friend’s wedding, but didn’t post any pics or offer any info about the friend’s identity.

Fans remained skeptical, and now, Amber’s latest Instagram post has prompted a new round of speculation.

It all started with this photo of school project completed by the reality star’s adorable daughter, Leah.

Portwood posted the pic on Instagram, and fans immediately noticed her use of the word “stepdad.”

“My stepdad’s mac and cheese is the best,” Leah wrote.

The seven-year-old continued, using the term again:

“My stepmom’s name is Kristina [Anderson], my dad’s name is Gary [Shirley], my mom’s name is Amber, and my stepdad’s name is Matt.”

Now, there’s no real word for your mother’s fiance, so maybe Leah just decided to cut the BS and skip straight to the stepdad phase.

What’s interesting, however, is that Matt and Amber didn’t set fans straight when they began speculating that the Baiers are secretly hitched.

“When did you guys get married?” one fan asked her on Twitter.

“Stepdad?? So are y’all married already?” another commented.

Interestingly, Amber again has yet to respond to the queries.

Portwood and Baier have been engaged since last year, but there’s been some controversy over when and if they’ll actually get hitched.

Baier is a deadbeat dad with anywhere from six to nine children from previous relationships, most of whom he owes years’ worth of back child support on.

Once he and Amber get married, his debts essentially become hers.

Considering Matt and Amber recently got evicted for failure to pay rent, we’re guessing they’re not exactly swimming in disposable cash.

Many believe Amber has decided to hold off on marriage until things are a little more settled financially, while Matt is pushing hard for her to say “I do.”

Whatever the case, with how secretive the couple is being these days, it may be a while before we get another update on Amber’s marital status.

Amber Portwood: Getting Married to Matt Baier WHEN?!

This might come as a little bit of a shock to you — it’s been a while since we’ve actually had to think about it.

But Amber Portwood is engaged to the supremely gross Matt Baier. Which means that she plans on marrying him at some point.

It’s enough to make you weep, isn’t it?

They were supposed to get married last October, but Amber said that the wedding was postponed and her relationship with Matt was “thrown on the back burner” when the news broke that Matt had several secret children.

Because it turns out that when you fib to the woman you’re going to marry about how many children you have, and when you don’t pay child support for those children, the relationship suffers.

Who knew?!

There was a moment last month when it seemed like Amber and Matt could be headed off to Vegas to get hitched — and goodness knows Matt wanted the attention from everyone believing that.

But it turned out they just flew out west for a friend’s wedding.

So considering all that, maybe they just put the wedding off indefinitely, you know? Maybe they have other things they want to concentrate on first, or maybe Amber finally got an ounce of sense about this guy and doesn’t want to tie herself to him like that.

No such luck.

In a new interview with E! News, Amber and Matt gave a few details about their wedding which, unfortunately, is definitely still happening.

Matt says that the wedding will go down “This October,” but “Ideally October 10th because that was the day we met in person for the first time.”

How … sweet? Depressing?

Yeah, we’re going to go with depressing. It’s not that we don’t want Amber to be happy, it’s just that we think Matt is the biggest creep to ever creep in the history of creeping.

As for her wedding dress, Amber says that “of course” she will design it herself, and that “I’m thinking of something with a late ’40s to early ’50s style.”

Matt adds that he’s “so proud” of Amber and of “how far she’s come as a person.”

“When she sets her mind to something,” he says, “she exceeds everyone’s expectations.”

So it looks like we have about seven months to prepare for this wedding … or seven months for something big and bad enough to come out about Matt to make Amber postpone this mess again.

Matt Baier: Read an Excerpt from His New Tell-All!

A few months ago, we learned that Matt Baier has been so troubled by the media’s portrayal of him that he decided to write an entire book to set the record straight.

Sounds obnoxious already, right? Well, hold on.

The book, a tell-all he actually titled You Have No F**king Idea: The Naked Truth About My Life, comes out in May, and we’re sure it’ll be as cringeworthy as it sounds.

Really, we know it will be — and that’s because we have an excerpt!

In this passage of the book, Matt begins with “Everybody had a story. Everybody had a picture. Everybody had a wild tale to tell and the media ate it up.”

“Hell, they still do,” he continues. “There was a story recently about my past drug use that referred to me as the ‘slimy, sleazy fiancé of Amber Portwood."”

Because he’s upset that he’s painted in such a negative light all over the internet, get it? He’s sad because he’s done questionable things and now that he’s semi-famous, people know about those things.

But still, Matt argues that “The fact of the matter is that I have not done the majority of what’s been written about me. I have no criminal record. I barely have a background.”

“The press has invented sins based on the word of people looking to get paid and be famous.”

He then goes on a little tirade about the tabloids, about the little tricks they use to report scandalous but unverified things about him — “allegedly” he’s done this, “a source says” he’s done that.

He writes that he asked a tabloid reporter about why all this happens to poor, innocent Matt, and the answer was simple: people see his name in a headline, and they click on it.

As for why that happens, Matt muses that “I think it’s because they can’t get over the age difference between Amber and I. It’s shocking to them.”

“Some of it, I’m sure, has to do with the demographic of Teen Mom viewers, who are generally younger. They’re wonderful, but they don’t understand.”

He explains that “If you’re nineteen, and you’re watching this show, your father might be younger than me. I just turned forty-five. Amber and I got together when I was forty-two.”

“To the kids watching this show, I might as well be 100.”

Another thing, he says, is that he and Amber have been together for three years, and “Really, who do you think knows me more, the person I’ve spent twenty-four hours a day with for the last three years, or somebody I met in a bar fifteen years ago, and never even got their last name?”

With the tabloids, he says that “the truth wasn’t what they wanted. They didn’t think the truth got clicks. They didn’t think the truth sold magazines.”

“Well, now it’s my turn.”

And there it is.

Matt wrote this book so that he could refute countless tabloid reports about his status as a deadbeat dad, his former substance abuse, and his entire sordid past.

And that’s great. We’re glad he feels so passionate about setting the record straight.

But the issue is that he seems to think so many people care about each and every individual report about him, when that’s just not the case.

People care about two things: one, that he pretty much lied to Amber Portwood about how many children he had, and that he doesn’t have the best relationship with those children — something he’s admitted to.

And two, the fact that he tried to holler at Jenelle Evans and Farrah Abraham on Twitter before he was successful in getting with Amber.

Those are facts, they make him shady and suspicious, and that’s why people don’t like him.

But congrats on the book, guy.

Amber Portwood & Matt Baier: Getting Sued AGAIN?!

If you watch Teen Mom online, you know that Amber Portwood and Matt Baier have done a decent job of convincing fans that after years of substance abuse, run-ins with the law, and seriously questionable parenting practices, their lives are now fully stable.

Unfortunately, the facade that the couple maintains on the show belies the constant state of turmoil in which they seem to live.

Last month, we learned that Amber and Matt were being sued by a former landlord for failure to pay rent and destruction of property.

Shortly thereafter, word got out that Amber and Matt were being sued by their current landlord for falling behind on their rent yet again.

That landlord has already started eviction proceedings, and he’ll face off with Portwood and Baier in court next month.

Now, according to Radar Online, another lawsuit has been filed against Baier, this one for unpaid medical bills.

According to court documents obtained by the website, Matt owes nearly 5 grand for services rendered:

“Unpaid balance for medical services of $ 4,666.07,” reads the filing.

“Reasonable attorney fees if awarded by the court of $ 550.”

Add that to the $ 6,015.74 they owe for the January lawsuit and the $ 2,200 the current landlord is requesting, and Matt and Amber are on the hook for a pretty serious chunk of change.

And we haven’t even mentioned Baier’s multiple unpaid child support suits that are estimated to cost the couple well over $ 10,000.

Now, Amber obviously earns a pretty good salary from Teen Mom and her other revenue streams, by all indications, she’s somehow seriously strapped for cash.

People with plenty of disposable income generally don’t fall multiple months behind on their rent at two consecutive apartments.

It’s anyone’s guess as to what Matt and Amber are spending their money on, but considering their shared history of addiction, it’s not hard to see why many fans are openly wondering if the couple is using together.

Whatever the case, Amber’s life is clearly not as rosy as the one she presents on Teen Mom.

Hopefully, the fan favorite will be able to sort things out ASAP.

Amber Portwood & Matt Baier: Secretly Married?

If you wandered into Teen Mom Twitter over the weekend, you probably heard the rumor:

Thousands of fans were convinced that Amber Portwood and Matt Baier would be getting married in Las Vegas on Saturday.

And it’s not hard to see how they got that idea…

On Thursday, Matt posted an Instagram photo of a sign reading, “Going to the chapel and we’re gonna get married.” 

The couple doubled-down on the big tease in a statement issued to the Real Mr. Housewife website, which read, in part:

“All we can say is we are there for a wedding. As for who’s [sic]? Well that’s a surprise…People will just have to wait and see.”

Yes, it certainly sounds like these two were gearing up for a big wedding announcement, but apparently – they were just messing around?

The Ashley’s Reality Roundup did some legwork and discovered that Matt and Amber (or Mamber, as we like to call them) have not filed for a marriage license in Clark County, Nevada.

They also haven’t filed in their native Indiana.

But the biggest indication that Amber didn’t tie the knot with her deadbeat dad man is that her daughter Leah remained home when she and Matt headed to Sin City.

Those closest to Amber say that she would never get married without Leah by her side.

So why encourage the spread of rumors if she’s not actually walking down the aisle?

Good question.

From the time Amber and Matt got engaged, fans were skeptical that they would actually get hitched, and this latest round of mind games is unlikely to remove those doubts.

(Folks who are actually on the verge of getting married rarely stage pretend weddings.)

As far as we can tell this is just a manifestation of Amber’s need for attention.

While she’s not nearly as thirsty as some of her co-stars (we’re looking at you, Farrah!) Amber is still a reality star who’s been receiving near constant attention on social media since her teen years.

We suppose it’s only natural that she would indulge in an occasional stunt like this, especially since Matt seems to thrive on being the subject of rumors.

But none of that makes it any less lame.

Amber Portwood and Matt Baier: Getting Married This Weekend?!

Are MTV’s most controversial couple, Amber Portwood and Matt Baier, about to make their years-long romance official by tying the knot?

This weekend?!

If so, it would be their most shocking stunt yet – and that’s saying something for Amber, 25, and Matt, 45, who are always under scrutiny.

Rumors of Portwood and Baier getting married spread like wildfire last night, and it’s not hard to see why, given Matt’s Instagram phost.

He dropped what appeared to be a major bombshell on the social network, announcing that they were jetting off for a Las Vegas wedding!

Yes, that could just mean going to a wedding.

It may well be someone else’s nuptials. We realize this. But Baier didn’t merely write that “we’re off to a wedding in Vegas this weekend.”

He posted this photo along with it:

Could tomorrow really be the day? 

Baier was asked by OK! magazine and said this: “I’m getting married tomorrow? All we said was we were going to Vegas for a wedding…” 

Again, a nice cryptic non-denial.

Wedding news would be a long time coming for the troubled twosome, who got engaged in November 2014, then canceled it last August.

The fact that Baier has between seven and nine children from previous relationships (depending on who you ask) did not go over well.

Matt has been up front about his status as a former addict who made a lot of bad decisions, which may have been his saving grace.

While Amber Portwood and Matt Baier called off their wedding amid these explosive revelations about Baier’s past, they did not split.

“Honestly, it was a really hard time in our relationship and cause I didn’t approve of anything that he did in his past,” she said at the time.

“But then again I didn’t want to base my decision, you know, him 5 to 10 years ago, so we went through a rough patch,” Amber added.

“We kind of been working through it and we are doing a lot better. I think our trust is starting to build again and you know it was really hard.”

Amber even went out of her way to add that calling off the wedding wasn’t as much for good as it was pumping the brakes temporarily.

“I do want to get married within the next year,” she said.

Even if this isn’t the weekend in which they’re tying the not, things have improved between them to the point where it may not be far off.

Matt’s image, while it’s never going to be “good” in the way that Cole DeBoer’s is, has improved slightly in the eyes of Amber’s followers.

If you watch Teen Mom OG online, you’ve seen this.

Admitting his past mistakes on camera and an appearance last season by Matt’s son Chris Baier helped him seem a lot less shady.

Even Amber’s reunion fight with Farrah Abraham was sparked by Farrah and Simon Saran calling Matt a pedophile, and Amber flipping out.

Odd as it is to be called a pedophile and end up looking good, Matt was defended so vigorously by Amber that fans were in their corner.

The couple, who were recently served with an eviction summons on February, will not be getting thrown out of their home after settling that.

They may even return to it married this weekend.

Matt Baier: Screw Teen Mom, I"m Gonna Be a Rock Star!

Matt Baier is known for two things: for being an absurd human being, and for showcasing that on Teen Mom.

He’s been in the spotlight for a couple of years now, and it’s been such a trying time for us all.

Just every single detail we know about him is painful: the way he worked his way through Teen Mom’s hottest messes before finally being able to stick with Amber Portwood was a particularly despicable beginning.

Yes, who could forget how he hit on Jenelle Evans and Farrah Abraham before making his way to Amber?

No one, that’s who. Not even your own subconscious can let that one go, so plan on seeing it play out again in your nightmares.

When he did get with Amber, he moved on her immediately, bringing so much chaos into her life in the form of several secret paternity suits.

Because not only is Matt a leech, not only is he a creep, but he’s also a deadbeat dad.

He seemed to fib to Amber about the number of kids he’d fathered and left, and she only found out after her ex, Gary Shirley, brought it to her attention.

But still, Amber has issues of her own, so she’s defended Matt in a number of tragic, nonsensical ways. It’s all very upsetting.

The only good thing that’s happened in Amber’s relationship with Matt is that she’s postponed their wedding — if things went according to her original plan, she’s already be married to the creep by now.

But today, it’s looking like the wedding might be pushed back indefinitely, because … wait for it …

Matt wants to be a rock star!

Yes, because the world can be a beautiful place sometimes, there’s an extremely amusing rumor going around that Matt is planning on ditching Teen Mom in favor of pursuing his true passion: music.

The rumor started in part because Matt, over on his brand new Instagram account, has been sharing updates on a “music room” that he and Amber are putting together in their home.

He’s got some signed records and other memorabilia, but then he shared a photo of a shiny new guitar without an autograph in sight.

And things just kind of spiraled out of control from there.

The rumor gained so much attention (or he was so desperate for attention, one of the two) that Matt actually took the time to issue a statement.

Speaking with Real Mr. Housewife, Matt said “I have taken one guitar lesson so yeah I’m ready for a career in music.”

“I learned 3 chords in my first lesson I just took. Look out Eddie Van Halen.”

Sarcasm, or confidence?

Only time will tell.

Farrah Abraham"s Dad: Matt Baier CRIPPLED Me!

If you watched the Teen Mom: OG reunion show on Monday, then you’re aware that things got ugly between Farrah Abraham and Amber Portwood.

Seriously, violently ugly.

News of the Farrah vs. Amber fight first emerged back in October when the special was filmed, but it wasn’t until this week that we saw it.

We had seen the sneak previews and read the dispatches from the set, but not even that prepared us for how nasty the onstage throwdown became.

At one point, the men in Farrah and Amber’s lives got involved, as Michael Abraham (Farrah’s dad) and Matt Baier (Amber’s fiance) squared off.

Incidentally, Farrah’s boyfriend, Simon Saran, for all his trolling and trash talking online and on camera, apparently chose to sit this one out.

We imagine if you watch the footage frame-by-frame, he can be spotted sheepishly handing over his Man Card to the authorities.

Just saying. Anyway, Amber claims MTV edited the scene in such a way that important details were omitted from the broadcast.

But was it?

Michael Abraham agrees, but he believes that what was left out was something even more significant – the brutality of Baier’s attack on him.

In a recent interview with Radar, Farrah’s dad claimed that Baier left him so severely injured that he’s been unable to work in the aftermath.

It’s been months since the episode was filmed at this point.

“I’m still under treatment and on worker’s comp,” he said.

“I’m a disabled vet, he destroyed my hearing aid. Matt didn’t know the can of worms he opened when he hit me.”

Obviously, if that’s even partially true, it’s decidedly not cool.

And it gives us yet another reason to hate Matt Baier.

But TBF, we’re having a hard time believing that Baier really dealt out a Scorsese-esque ass-whupping in presence of dozens of others.

Not only was this a scuffle that lasted all of about 45 seconds, but there were no rumors of criminal action or even out of control violence by Matt.

In any case, the fight began when host and professional drama queen Dr. Drew Pinsky asked Farrah and Simon about Saran’s accusations.

Specifically, that Baier is a pedophile. 

Rather than diplomatically backing away from her boyfriend’s stance, Farrah doubled-down, insisting that Baier “looks like” a child molester.

It was a messed-up thing to say.

For a number of reasons, really – not the least of which is that there are so many legitimate reasons to hate Baier, why resort to name-calling?

It’s really unnecessary to make stuff up about the guy, and calling someone a child molester, of all things, when they aren’t is disgusting.

Anyway, Amber rightfully took exception to Farrah’s remarks and she literally came out swinging in the reunion brawl seen ‘round the world.

Did we mention that Simon – who basically started all this – just stood there the whole time? Yet continues to troll his adversaries online?

Although, the tension between them may have started way back when Baier tried to bang Farrah before he started hooking up with Amber.

Baier, as you know if you watch Teen Mom OG online or follow its stars on Twitter, is basically a fanboy who tried to get with a cast member.

Somehow, he succeeded on the third try (Farrah and Jenelle Evans may have dodged a bullet with this one, in retrospect).

Again, there’s really plenty of reason to strongly dislike everyone involved, with the possible exception of poor Michael.

Then again, he did help bring Farrah into the world …

Matt Baier: Lying to Amber Portwood About His Sobriety!

If you watch Teen Mom OG online, you know that Portwood used to be the hottest mess on the MTV franchise … and her state prison.

Not a small feat, in other words.

Since she got out of jail, though, she’s really turned her life around, maintaining her sobriety and being a good mother to her daughter, Leah.

The only issue is her gross, sketchy fiance, Matt Baier. And with this new sneak peek clip from next week’s installment, well …

It’s looking like he’s even grosser and sketchier than we ever could have imagined, which is also not a small feat at this point.

“I did absolutely exaggerate the length of my sobriety,” the recovering addict reveals in a therapy session he attends with Amber.

“Even with her when I first met her.”

You slimy, slimy douchebag.

When Matt was first introduced on the reality show, he was supposed to be this person that had battled with addiction, just like Amber.

Their bond, however unlikely on the surface, was largely due to the fact that he had beaten the odds and achieved sobriety, just like Amber.

Yeah, apparently not so much.

“He wasn’t sober when I met him,” Amber explains in the clip, but says she wasn’t duped by that fact at the time. “And I knew it.”

“I can say that he would not have been sober if it wasn’t for me, because I took those f-cking pills, poured them down the toilet and threw it at him.”

Matt laughs at the memory of that mental image, and says that when it happened, he “wanted to go swimming after” the pills.

However, he claims that “that was the day my sobriety really kicked in … it was either her or drugs, and I wasn’t giving up her.”

Well, that’s … sweet? A nice sentiment? Even inspirational?

No, it’s just as sad and weird as everything else Matt does.

It’s great that Matt is sober these days, and if Amber inspired him, then that’s lovely, sure. But the fact remains that this is a toxic pattern.

His sobriety is one more thing he’s lied about, and it’s one more thing that he’s gotten the Teen Mom star to lie about on his behalf.

He’s shady, and Amber doesn’t need a shady character in her life. Not with how far she’s come, and after all she’s been through.

To her credit though, Amber says in the clip that when she first got with Matt, “I said, ‘you will not be with me if you’re doing this sh-t."”

“He made the decision.”

“I can’t be with someone who’s using,” she recalls, yet, if she were even in a position where she had to flush his pills down the toilet …

That would mean he was using, yes?

As illogical and concerning and disappointing as it may be, Amber and Matt Baier are getting married at some point in the near future.

“I love Matt because I knew his potential when I met him,” she explains. “He was such a good person, he was so sweet. It was genuine.”

“I can usually tell when somebody’s bullsh-tting me. He’s done so much in his life that people won’t let him move forward.”

“I’ll let him move forward.”

And yeah, that’s great, but she shouldn’t “let him move forward” at the risk of her own health and happiness, or her daughter’s.

If he wasn’t sober when they met, and if he lied to her about how many kids he has, and if he made her think he was genuine?

Forget the fact that he tried to get with Farrah Abraham and Jenelle Evans first, he’s just not a good dude for her in the end.

No amount of these confessions or revelations or whatever is going to change that, no matter what she likes to tell herself.
