Eminem Gushes About Hailie Jade Mathers: She"s Better Than Her Parents!
Eminem has been back in the news lately for an unlikely reason.
If you’ve been anywhere near social media in the past week, then you now doubt caught at least a snippet of Em’s blistering anti-Trump rap that debuted at the BET Awards.
Yes, Em has always been a rabble-rouser and a trash talker, but his barbs are usually aimed at fellow musicians.
(That mop-headed dude from NSync is probably still in therapy.)
This time, Mr. Mathers set his sights on a far more powerful opponent, tearing Trump down with a succession of scathing putdowns that would make no doubt rendered the Orange One as speechless as Anthony Mackie at the end of 8 Mile.
Best of all, the rapper released the acapella diss barrage with the full knowledge that many of his fans are also Trump supporters, exhorting red staters to pick a side in one of the track’s most memorable lines.
It was a pleasant for hip hop fans, as Em has reached the point in his career where he could never record another track and still be remembered as a legend of the genre.
But believe it or not, it’s not his music career that the 44-year-old emcee is most proud of.
(And no, it’s not his epic beard that somehow became a trending topic when he debuted it earlier this year.)
As Em is always happy to tell interviewers (on the rare occasion he grants interviews. Come to think of it, is he ever really happy?) his proudest achievement is raising his daughter Hailie.
(Who, as fans know, came well after he was harrassed daily by this fat kid named D’Angelo Bailey.)
Like we said, Marshall doesn’t speak to the press very often, but a source slose to the rapper says he gushes about his 21-year-old offspring every chance he gets:
“Eminem is really proud of Hailie, she’s the very best of him and Kim,” the insider tells Hollywood Life.
“Hailie is smart, popular, motivated, kind, and really down to earth. Eminem was determined that his daughter would be raised out of the spotlight, as the last thing he wanted was a ‘showbiz kid’, and he really did a good job—considering the problems that both her mom and dad have had, she’s incredibly well balanced. “
The source concludes:
“Hailie is really committed to her studies, she works really hard, and she has a great head on her shoulders.”
“Popular” might be a massive understatement, as new photos of Hailie go viral amongst Em obsessives about once a month.
We like to think they’re not being internet pervs and are just thrilled with the way she turned out, having essentially witnessed the girl’s upbringing through Em’s music.
While it’s the disses that might be most remembered by casual fans, those who have pored over the Detroit rapper’s lyrics know that family has always been one of his favorite themes.
In the early days, he argued (quite convincingly) that his lack of a healthy upbringing had left him permnanetly damaged.
These days, it seems he’s been rescues by his love for his daughter.
It’s a hell of a happy ending for a man who likely never would have predicted one for himself.

Kim Kardashian: ANYone Would Be a Better President Than Donald Trump!
Kim Kardashian rarely uses her platform to speak on issues affecting society.
She typically just uses it to push her beauty line or show off her cleavage.
But if Donald Trump has proven anything over the first few months of his Presidency, it’s that we aren’t living in normal times right now.
And this is what has prompted Kardashian to abnormally offer her opinion on the state of her country; and specifically the man leading it.
“We’ve worked so hard to get where we were and to have so many things that we were so proud of in our country, to just literally revert backwards is the most frustrating thing,” Kardashian tells Harper’s Bazaar Arabia, adding:
“Every single day when you can’t really believe what’s going on, the next day it’s something else even more crazy and tragic.”
It’s true.
One day, Trump is banning transgender individuals from the miltary.
The next day, he’s defending White Supremacists.
The day after that, he’s using Hurricane Harvey as an excuse to pat himself on the back, prior to announcing a tax plan that will only benefit the wealthy.
It’s a lot to keep track of.
And it all sucks, Kardashian believes.
“Anyone can run the U.S. better,” Kim tells the publication. “My daughter would be better.”
For the record, Kim’s daughter is four years old.
Over the years, Kardashian has selectively discussed pressing political topics.
In June of 2016, she slammed the Senate for failing to pass gun control legislation.
She’s also an outspoken advocate of gay marriage.
“Sometimes I feel like I want to speak out more about political issues,” she says here.
“You have to be really careful about what you say because a lot of things can be taken in the wrong context and I always want to be respectful, I don’t want to hurt anyone’s feelings.”
Or you could try to affect change and not concern yourself with the feelings of certain people?
This isn’t the time to slam Kardashian, however.
She’s already facing backlash for dressing up like Jackie Kennedy and she earns our props in this case for taking a stand against Trump.
“It’s really scary, the world that we’re living in now,” she says. “And when you did feel safe at home, now with Trump in presidency, you just don’t feel safe any more.”
Kim, of course, suffered her own frightening incident when she was robbed at gunpoint in Paris.
But she says it’s not herself for whom she’s concerned these days; it’s her kids.
“Life scares me, just thinking of all the things that can go wrong,” she says.
“When you’re a mom you turn into this maniac that just thinks anything and everything can go wrong.”

Kylie Jenner: Life Without Tyga is Better! I"m Free!
A new Life of Kylie teaser came out. This time, at least, she"s not whining about her fame and fortune. This time it"s actually interesting.
It sounds like, without even mentioning his name, Kylie is saying that she"s way, way happier without Tyga in her life.
We"re happier without Tyga in her life, so it makes sense. But watch the video below to decide for yourself if she"s talking about Tyga or something else.
It"s gotta be about Tyga, though. Let"s be real.
You can watch her words for nuance or whatever in the video below — maybe we missed a clue that you"ll catch.
But here"s what she says:
"I"ve had more fun this past month than I have in, like, years."
Now, that could be anything, but it would pretty much line up with when Kylie and Tyga broke up for good, vanquishing "Kyga" forever.
(Remember, these shows are filmed months in advance)
What she says next, though, doesn"t seem to leave a lot of room for doubt.
The video, largely unrelated to her voiceover, shows her talking about how happy she is.
But then her voiceover talks about things that didn"t make her so happy in the past.
"Like, the last three years of my life are, like, a blur. I just stayed in the house all day and just …"
She trails off, there, and
Just … had sex with Tyga? Just … let Tyga do weird stuff with your feet and micromanage your foot care routines?
Tyga has a foot fetish, folks. He says that after looking at a girl"s lips, the second thing that he notices are her toes.
If he hadn"t started dating Kylie when she was a minor and he was 8 years older, the way that he seemingly controlled her choices about her feet would be the creepiest thing about their relationship.
Tyga is creepy, you guys.
We"d point out that it"s easy to look at Kylie"s lifestyle and say that, sure, just hanging out around the house all of the time is a great way to live your life.
But, like, we don"t think that Kylie plays video games — with or without friends. Besides, even with games, everybody needs to get out sometimes.
(I"ve tried the "I"ll just stay home" lifestyle before and even for diehard introverts, it"s just not as fulfilling as going out with your friends, folks)
Kylie adds more about what her life is like now:
"Now, it"s like, I feel like I can be more myself; i feel way more free."
We"ve mentioned that we got the impression that Tyga was kind of controlling.
We suspect that there was more to that control than Kylie"s feet. That"s often the case with creepy, older dudes.
Honestly, Tyga"s career may be a joke, but we don"t think that there"s anything funny about him, since he reportedly tries to flirt with other underage girls.
"And I"m just, like, really, genuinely happy right now."
As much as Kylie can drive us all nuts, that"s good to hear.
We should talk a little about the rest of the video for a hot minute.
We"ve seen Kylie react to her star-studded seating companions before, and … whatever.
The video starts with Kylie apparently being two hours late for the guy who"s doing her makeup.
Put yourself in his shoes for a moment. You"ve cleared your schedule to glam up Kylie Jenner"s face, which is a big deal, and she shows up two hours late.
You"ve just spent the past two hours losing your mind and wondering when she"s going to get there, but when she arrives you"re all smiles because you have to be. Did he have to cancel on other people to accomodate her?
Life of Kylie isn"t really showing her best side, you know?
