Taylor Swift Returns to the Stage, Performs Calvin Harris Song

Taylor Swift is finally back on stage and singing her heart out. 

That’s right, America’s sweetheart is back, but is she still in good graces with most of her fans?

I mean, it was not that long ago there was the whole “Taylor Swift is over party.”

That party came on the heels of Taylor pretty much being revealed as a liar. 

How so?

Remember that time she was going on about not giving Kanye West permission to use her in his song, “Famous?” Yeah, well Kim decided that playing nice was a foreign concept and took to Snapchat to lift the lid on what went down. 

To be fair, the Kardashians have no compunction with lifting the lid about things if it gets their name in the media.

That’s sort of how reality TV stars work. 

With Kim revealing that Taylor did know about Kanye’s lyrics, and the fact that Taylor’s love life was embroiled in a lot of controversy due to just how fast she moved on from Calvin Harris, Taylor kind of took a step back from the public. 

There was controversy surrounding Taylor pretty much everywhere for a while. 

It was needed. There was no way she would be able to come back from that huge downfall while still in the public eye.

Add in the fact that her relationship with Tom Hiddleston was in tatters, there was a lot of change for Taylor. 

Now, it appears that she’s well and truly back to her former self and we’re kind of excited for what the future holds for her. 

Taylor revealed the news that she would be returning to the stage in a sweet video that proved she was as resilient as ever.

Taylor performed in Austin after the Formula One United States Grand Prix on Saturday.

She looked pretty damn great throughout the whole thing.

On the menu was a bevy of her back catalog of hits, but there was one somewhat surprising addition the set list. 

That came in the form of “This Is What You Came For.”

That was the song she co-wrote with her ex-boyfriend, Calvin Harris. 

Y’know, the one in which Rihanna normally belts out the vocals. 

That marked the first time Taylor sung the song life since it was revealed that she served as a co-writer on the track. 

It’s pretty great that she acknowledged that she owned the track and all, but how must Calvin and Rihanna be feeling right about now?

Calvin Harris Breaks Silence on Taylor Swift Split: It Was HELL!

Taylor Swift just broke up with Tom Hiddleston.

That summer fling has apparently been flung.

Remember when she was dating Calvin Harris?

It’s true!

The singer and the DJ were together, for, like, 15 months, splitting this spring… just before Swift was caught canoodling with Hiddleston.

Now, in a cover story with British GQ, Harris opens up about his relationship with Swift and his subsequent break-up in more detail than ever before.

“It’s very difficult when something I consider so personal plays out very publicly,” Harris tells the publication.

“The aftermath of the relationship was way more heavily publicized than the relationship itself. When we were together, we were very careful for it not to be a media circus.

“She respected my feelings in that sense. I’m not good at being a celebrity.”

So it sounds like Harris was pretty content while actually dating Swift.

But then after the relationship ended? That’s when things really got crazy.

Although Harris puts it in even more blunt terms.

“All hell broke loose,” he says. “Now I see that Twitter thing as a result of me succumbing to pressure. It took me a minute to realize that none of that matters.

“I’m a positive guy.

“For both of us it was the wrong situation. It clearly wasn’t right, so it ended, but all of the stuff that happened afterwards…”

Harris here is referring to the beef he got into with Swift over the songwriting credit on “This is What You Came For.”

After Taylor tried to claim that she was actually the main person responsible for that smash single, Harris could not sit back in silence any longer.

“I wrote the music, produced the song, arranged it and cut the vocals,” Harris Tweeted in July.

And then he took it to another, amazing level, writing the following as a follow-up:

Hurtful to me at this point that her and her team would go so far out of their way to try and make ME look bad at this stage.

I figure if you’re happy in your new relationship you should focus on that instead of trying to tear your ex bf down for something to do.

I know you’re off tour and you need someone new to try and bury like Katy ETC but I’m not that guy, sorry. I won’t allow it.

Please focus on the positive aspects of YOUR life because you’ve earned a great one.

Wow. No one had ever called out Taylor Swift like that before.

But it sounds like Harris sort of regrets doing so now.

It was completely the wrong instinct,” he says in hindsight.

“I was protecting what I see as my one talent in the world being belittled. It felt like things were piling on top of me and that was when I snapped.”

Pretty open stuff here from Harris, huh?

He really does seem like a decent, regular guy.

And also a lucky one: according to new reports, Harris is now dating Eiza Gonzalez.

Way to rebound there, Calvin! You got up high and snagged quite the catch with that one.

While Taylor Swift is busying annoying Tom Hiddleston, Calvin Harris is spending time with 26-year-old Mexican actress, Eiza Gonzalez.

Gonzalez left a Los Angeles party Saturday night on the arm of Harris, though both parties turned their heads directly away from the cameras.

“They have been talking and hanging out,” a source told People Magazine about the recent coupling.

“It’s new.”

Another source confirmed to Us Weekly that Harris and Gonzalez won’t go out of their way to avoid being photographed together.

“They recently started hanging out, and it’s very new,” the source explained.

“They both really wanted to keep it low-key for a while, but once these photos came out, they knew that wasn’t going to happen. They’re both happy and just seeing where things go for now.”

Before this, Harris was linked to R&B singer Tinashe, but she’s since put those rumors to rest, assuring E! News at the MTV Video Music Awards that she’s single.

“He’s pretty cool. We’re cool. Things are cool,” she said on the red carpet.

Gonzalez has been linked to soccer player Cristiano Ronaldo in the past, and was seen kissing Liam Hemsworth in 2013, just one day after his split from Miley Cyrus was announced.

Harris and Swift dated for about a year before breaking things off this past spring.  

Things turned ugly when Harris blasted Swift on Twitter for wanting to take credit at the last minute for their song, “This Is What You Came For,” wkth Swift initially using the pseudonym, Nils Sjoberg.

“I wrote the music, produced the song, arranged it and cut the vocals though,” Harris tweeted in July.

“And initially she wanted it kept secret, hence the pseudonym.

A few weeks before that, Harris admitted to fans that Swift “controlled the media and this situation. I had no idea what was going on.

“So that kind of makes it a lot worse from my perspective.”

Harris’ friend and collaborator, John Newman recently had a few things to say about the gossip surrounding the DJ’s life.

“He doesn’t need anybody. His emotions are so strong; he’s so strong-minded. He’s a one-man train who is never going to stop,” Newman told The Sun.

“The limits are literally endless for him. What he’s done is nothing compared to what he can do. That’s the scary thing, how far this really could go for him.”

Calvin Harris "Ole" Video: Taylor Swift Shade-Fest Continues!

Calvin Harris has pretty much been going ham since he and Taylor Swift broke up, and his new video for "Ole" certainly fits that pattern.

Besides Harris epic" rant against Swift, he"s been passing the time hanging out on boats with hot chicks and generally loving life lately.

Oh, and he recorded the ultimate Taylor diss track.

At least that"s what we believed "Ole" was going to be – an epic parting shot at Swift cheating with Tom Hiddleston, her beau du jour.

Well, now that the music video just dropped, it isn"t quite the kiss-off breakup anthem we were envisioning, at least not on the surface.

There is still shade to be seen here, however.

Josh Newman, the singer and performer whose track Harris produced, is featured in the video along with a girl on the rocks by the beach.

While the video takes place in Los Cabos, Mexico (hence the title) and Taylor Swift"s beach house in Rhode Island, the parallels are clear.

The rocks by her Watch Hill mansion, of course, are where her Taylor"s relationship with Tom was first documented by the paparazzi.

Ah, memories. Feels like it was yesterday.

The squad chilling in chairs outside, meanwhile, conjure up images of those hilariously staged photos from TS" July bash in the Ocean State.

And, of course, there is the lyrical content.

Written from Hiddleston"s – or Newman"s – point of view, the new track makes apparent references to the actor"s Thor character, Loki:

"Low key … you won"t tell none of your friends about me."

The Taylor-centric lyrics continue, "You"ve hidden my name in your phone so you can call me to tell me you"ve been going through hell."

"Left him alone and you booked in a hotel."

Newman croons, as the breezy video progresses, "I see online that you begun to be a good girl and take trips with your boyfriend." 

"Being attentive, continue to pretend …" 

Pretty great. Actually a little more subtle than we thought it would be when excerpts started to leak out, but pretty great just the same.

Harris has always believed that one"s professional and personal lives are closely intertwined when it comes to Taylor. Oh how true this is.

Who would"ve thought he"d come out with a song first, though? Gotta hand it to the DJ on this one. Check out the "Ole" video below:

Kim Kardashian Poses with Calvin Harris, Tries to End Taylor Swift Forever

According to a recent story, Calvin Harris is ready to EXPOSE and DESTROY Taylor Swift.

It’s unclear what steps are involved in this elaborately evil plan, but the world famous DJ may have taken the first one over the weekend.

How so?

By hanging out with Taylor’s new and most bitter enemy, Kim Kardashian!

The reality star and the musician were both guests at Jennifer Lopez’s 47th birthday party in Las Vegas.

The event took place at Caesar’s Palace and Kim and Calvin both ended up in a photo (alongside the birthday gal and French Montana) that centered on Lopez’s birthday cake.

But not really, of course. It centered on Harris and Kardashian.

Over the past few weeks, these stars have taken aim at America’s Musical Sweetheart unlike anyone else before them.

Harris started it by throwing a bit of subtle shade in Swift’s direction after she started dating Tom Hiddleston so soon after she broke up with him (allegedly over the phone).

That shade went from subtle to pitch black, however, after Swift claimed she was the one who wrote Harris’ smash hit song, “This is What You Came For.”

In response, Harris simply WENT OFF on his ex-girlfriend.

“I know you’re off tour and you need someone new to try and bury like Katy ETC but I’m not that guy, sorry. I won’t allow it,” Harris Tweeted on July 13.

It was amazing.

But it then got even more amazing.

Last week, Kardashian released a video of Kanye West speaking to Taylor on the phone.

The subject of the conversation was Kanye’s track “Famous” and specific lyrics in it that dissed Swift.

The recording made it clear that Swift was, indeed, aware of the insults to come in the single… despite her latest protestations to the contrary.

Here is another look at the phone call that many believe revealed Taylor Swift to be a huge liar:

Then, one night before posing alongside Harris in the picture above, Kardashian once again slammed Swift.

She shared footage on Snapchat of her and a friend singing along to “Famous,” most notably the part about how Kanye says he made that “bitch famous.”

The bitch in this case, of course, is Swift.

We have no idea what Kim and Calvin talked about at Lopez’s birthday bash. We don’t even know if they talked at all.

But look at Harris’ smirk in this image.

We’re just excited now for the impending photo of himself, John Mayer, Jake Gylenhaal and Harry Styles. Because you know it’s coming!

Calvin Harris: Ready To Expose And Destroy Taylor Swift???

July 2016 is not a month Taylor Swift will look back on fondly.

Yes, she’s getting her romance on with The Night Manager‘s Tom Hiddleston, but she was also hung out to dry by both Kim Kardashian and her ex-boyfriend, Calvin Harris.

Harris was angry that Swift took credit for his song, “This is What You Came For,” with Rihanna.  That led to a series of tweets from the usually quiet DJ.

“I know you’re off tour and you need someone new to try and bury like Katy ETC but I’m not that guy, sorry. I won’t allow it,” Harris tweeted on July 13th.

According to In Touch Weekly, Harris is prepared for whatever backlash is coming his way next.

“if Taylor pushes him again, ‘he’s going to expose and destroy her,’” a source told the tabloid.

“That line — especially the ETC — should serve as a big warning.”

Harris, for his part, has warned Swift to back off and stop stirring up trouble.

“Please focus on the positive aspects of YOUR life because you’ve earned a great one,” he wrote.

Meanwhile, someone hacked into Swift’s Wikipedia page and updated her biography.

The 26-Year-Old’s birth name was Changed to Taylor “Slithering Snake Becky With The Good Lies” Allison Swift, and some of her nicknames included “Regina George” and “victim.”

The page has since been restored, but not before In Touch grabbed a screen shot.

One person thoroughly enjoying the takedown of Swift is her nemesis, Katy Perry.

“Katy is so happy that someone finally put Taylor in her place,” a source told Radar Online.

“Katy called Kim personally to thank her after she saw the video exposing Taylor,” the source added, referring to the leaked audio that revealed Swift’s conversation with Kanye West over lyrics from his single, “Famous.”

“She has dealt with Taylor’s high school mind games and lies for so long and she is so glad that Kim showed the world.”

Calvin Harris Dating Tinashe as Taylor Swift Hell Week Continues

In case you somehow missed it, Taylor Swift is having the worst week ever.

It’s been feud, followed by scandal, followed by public humiliation for Taylor ever since the world learned that Swift and Calvin Harris fought over a song before their recent breakup.

That was followed by the “Taylor Swift is Over Party” on Twitter, during which Katy Perry and other rivals reveled in what they perceived as the singer’s downfall.

It was arguably the low point of the signer’s career up to that time.

And it was quickly followed by another round of bombshells:

On last night’s episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, Kim went off on Taylor for lying about being blindsided by the unflattering lyrics to Kanye West’s “Famous.”

Shortly thereafter, Kim Snapchatted video of a phone conversation in which Kanye and Taylor discussed the lyrics, thus exposing Taylor as being at least partially dishonest on the matter.

Devastating stuff from a PR angle.

But if you thought that would be the end of Swift’s embarrassment, think again:

Page Six is now reporting that Swift’s ex Calvin Harris is officially dating popular 23-year-old singer Tinashe:

“They have been seeing each other on the DL,” a source tells the tabloid.

“It’s only been weeks, so it’s still pretty casual right now.”

For the uninitiated, Tinashe’s debut studio album Aquarius became a modest hit thanks in part to A-list collaborations from the likes of Calvin.

Now, the young songstress can add “contributor to #TaylorSwiftHellWeek” to her list of accomplishments.

Taylor Swift: Former Classmate Slams Singer, Totally On Team Calvin

She may not mind sharing the stage with A-listers these days, but once upon a time, it was all about Taylor Swift (and no one else).

Fox News reporter and editor Chris Derespina starred in a youth production of Bye Bye Birdie with Swift in 2001.  Derespina, who was 14 at the time, played Elvis-like heartthrob, Conrad Birdie.  11-year-old Swift was cast as the lead, Kim McAffee.

Derespina recalls a very professional Swift.  On stage.

Off stage, he remembers, her demeanor was far from what fans see today.

“Swift and my ‘relationship’ could not have been more different than our fictional alter egos,” Derespina.

“She was the established star of the group and I was a newcomer, spurred to do the play simply because it seemed like a fun thing. However, (pardon the ego), I was quite good at my role and Swift didn’t seem to enjoy sharing the spotlight.”

Ah, those teenage years. Maybe she was crushing on Derespina and that was her way of showing it.

“We barely if ever talked when we weren’t reading lines that required our interaction and, after one performance, Swift ripped down a series of pictures of me, crumpled them and threw them against a wall,” he continued.

“In all fairness, she was an ambitious young girl who was destined to go far and I was a brash intruder into her world. It’s understandable we didn’t get along.”

Yeah, this sounds like a crush, and Derespina behaved like a typical teenage boy, possibly confusing her feelings for him with female bitchery.

He goes on:

“However, it doesn’t seem as if Swift has changed all that much from her days of ripping down my photos. Only now, she’s become famous for ripping her various ex-boyfriends in songs after their breakups.

So don’t feel too bad, Calvin. I’ve been there.”

Calvin Harris to Haters: Huh? I Can"t See You!

Calvin Harris is already the most popular DJ on the planet.

At the rate he’s going, however, Harris may soon be the most popular social media user on the planet as well.

Earlier this week, Harris WENT OFF on Taylor Swift.

He laid into the singer like no one ever has before, responding to accusations that Swift actually wrote Harris’ hit single, “This is What You Came For.”

After remaining mostly silent despite Taylor moving immediately on from him to Tom Hiddleston, Harris could not sit back idly while his professional reputation was called into question.

“I figure if you’re happy in your new relationship you should focus on that instead of trying to tear your ex bf down for something to do,” he wrote, piling it on as follows:

“I know you’re off tour and you need someone new to try and bury like Katy ETC but I’m not that guy, sorry. I won’t allow it.

“Please focus on the positive aspects of YOUR life because you’ve earned a great one.”

Game, set, match, Calvin Harris, right?

The DJ-producer has received praise for his attack on Swift from those who have believed for awhile that she’s fake a manipulative.

But Harris must have heard some backlash from some Taylor supporters, considering his most recent Tweet.

In response to continual Calvin shared a photo of a ma with spoons covering their eyes.

“Really me,” he added alongside one image, which he eventually deleted.

What the heck is this?

It appears to be a reference to Vine star Brandon Bowen’s viral “blocking out the haters” video.

In Bowen’s July 2014 footage, which has been viewed over two million views, the YouTube sensation places spoons over his eyes and tells the camera:

“Oh, I’m sorry. I didn’t see you there. I was busy blocking out the haters.”

Harris, of course, should not have any haters.

He’s said virtually nothing since getting dumped by Swift, allegedly over the phone.

He continued to remain quiet even after Swift started flaunting her supposedly real relationship with Hiddleston in everyone’s face.

Finally, after his professional integrity was called into question, Harris snapped… but even his vicious Tweets aimed at Swift were written in a reasonable manner.

So go ahead and remove those spoons from your eyes, Calvin.

You have no reason to hide.

Katy Perry Throws MAJOR Shade at Taylor Swift Following Calvin Harris Rant

In case you somehow haven’t heard, it’s been a rough day for Taylor Swift.

It all started when TMZ reported that Taylor dumped Calvin Harris as a direct result of a dispute involving his hit song “This Is What You Came For.”

Things really turned ugly when Harris confirmed the rumors and slammed Swift in a lengthy Twitter rant.

Harris’ tirade resulted in the “Taylor Swift Is Over Party,” in which angry members of Team Calvin reveled in what they perceived to be the downfall of one of the world’s most successful singers.

Throughout the “party” we couldn’t help but wonder what Taylor’s most famous rival, Katy Perry, thought about the situation.

Well, as expected KP is finally offering some insights into her take on Taylor’s terrible, horrible, no-good, very bad day.

And naturally, she used her favorite method of communication – the Hillary Clinton meme:

In case that shade was too subtle for you, Katy also retweeted a post that she originally wrote back in May that reads:

Mind you, Taylor isn’t actually “over” – very far from it, in fact.

She is – and will likely remain for the foreseeable future – one of the most popular entertainers on the planet.

But with 90 million followers, Katy is the undisputed Queen of Twitter.

Calvin Harris SLAMS Taylor Swift in Outraged Twitter Rant!

Earlier today, we reported on the rumor that Calvin Harris and Taylor Swift fought over a song they had co-written together prior to their breakup.

Moments ago, Harris not only confirmed those reports but revealed that the breakup between the two mega-stars wasn’t as amicable as previously thought.

Harris started out on a positive note, retweeting an article about the secret collaboration and adding:

“And she sings on a little bit of it too 🙃Amazing lyric writer and she smashed it as usual.”

Then things took a bit of an odd turn:

“I wrote the music, produced the song, arranged it and cut the vocals though. And initially she wanted it kept secret, hence the pseudonym,” he continued.

From there, Harris really got personal:

Yes, despite wrapping things up with a compliment, Calvin really dug in, even going so far as to reference Taylor’s feud with Katy Perry.

His remark that Swift tried to “bury” Perry is likely the closest we’ll get (aside from Katy’s tweet comparing Taylor to Regina George) to an insider confirmation that Taylor was the real mean girl in that situation.

Between this and her feud with Kim Kardashian, it’s shaping up to be quite the drama-filled summer for Taylor.

We’re hoping for an entire album of diss tracks by fall.

Taylor Swift: Did She Dump Calvin Harris Because of a Song?!

By this point, just about everyone on the planet knows that Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris are broken up, and the former has moved on to a remarkably fast-moving relationship with Tom Hiddleston.

But it’s still not clear exactly why Swift and Harris called it quits.

Fortunately, TMZ is basically what you’d get if Sherlock Holmes was willing to pay sources, and the site claims to have figured out the cause of Taylor and Calvin’s unexpected split.

Despite reports to the contrary, insiders say Taylor never cheated on Harris with Hiddleston, but the couple didn’t just gradually grow apart, either.

There was a definitive breaking point – and surprisingly, it came as a result of Taylor helping Calvin out with a song.

Sources say Calvin’s latest single, “This Is What You Came For”, was co-written with Taylor, but at the time the new couple didn’t want anyone to know they’d collaborated for fear of overshadowing the song.

In fact, the club hit reportedly sprang from a melody that Taylor came up with, recorded on her iPhone, and shared with Calvin.

Despite arguably being the primary creative force behind the song, Taylor didn’t want to be mentioned in any of the promotional material.

Instead, Taylor adopted a pseudonym, Nils Sjoberg, for her co-writing credit.

Despite her apparent selflessness in giving Harris sole rights to the song, however, Taylor was reportedly blindsided when she saw this:

A few days later, Taylor attended the 2016 Met Gala by herself, where she danced with Hiddleston.

Calvin Harris Flaunts Junk in a Speedo After Taylor Swift Breakup!

When Taylor Swift dumped Calvin Harris then immediately moved on with Tom Hiddleston, some folks were confused.

What does she see in that dude? fans wondered.

Then suddenly some sexy underwear pics of Hiddleston hit the internet and everyone went, “Ohhh. Now we get it.”

Not to be outdone, Calvin wants to remind the world that he, too, has a smokin’ hot body and is now posing in a Speedo to prove it.

We think Calvin might single-handedly make Speedos popular in the U.S., where the mankinis were previously regarded as sorta cheesy – unless you were drunk off strawberry daiquiris in Miami.

But if anyone can rock a tighty bluey, it’s Calvin, because that body is perfection.

It’s unclear if he’s rubbing his nipples in the pic or pointing toward his shattered heart, but he seems to be sending a message to Tay-Tay: Tom Hiddlewhatever’s got nothin’ on me!

While the DJ initially remained publicly civil about the breakup, he changed his tune once pics of Taylor kissing Hiddleston surfaced.

Since then, he deleted all photos of Taylor from his account and unfollowed her on social media.

Then yesterday, Calvin took to Twitter for a mini-rant and told fans that his ex “controlled the media and this situation” and he “had no idea what was going on,” adding, “so that kind of makes it a lot worse from my perspective.”

He also declared that he was now “FREE” and all but confirmed to a fan that Taylor broke up with him to be with the British actor.

Calvin later deleted these posts, proving that celebs often impulsively tweet then regret it…

…Or that the coven of PR pros that orchestrated this whole breakup/cheating?/broken heart/new man/promotion of a hot new star thing are doing a masterful job of audience manipulation.

Calvin Harris on Taylor Swift Split: SHE Dumped ME!

Calvin Harris is no longer a member of Taylor Swift’s romantic squad.

And the DJ has now given us a pretty clear idea how he feels about that.

Shortly after news broke that his 15-month relationship with Swift was over, Harris took the high road.

He issued a Tweet in response to rumors and innuendo that said simply:

“The only truth here is that a relationship came to an end & what remains is a huge amount of love and respect.”

Sweet re-Tweeted this message and it seemed like an amicable break-up between the stars.

But then…well…. Swift was caught kissing Tom Hiddleston in public, mere weeks after she and Harris called it quits.

Asked about her ex-girlfriend’s immediate rebound, Harris was a bit less respectful, telling a paparazzi member last week:

“All good, she’s just doing her thing.”

Doing her thing. That’s a casual, passive aggressive way of saying Taylor’s “thing” is to go from guy to guy.

Now, based on screenshots of his account taken by fans, the producer/DJ, 32, has opened up even more about what things were like as Swift’s boyfriend.

In response to a few follower questions, Harris wrote that Swift “controlled the media and this situation. I had no idea what was going on.

“So that kind of makes it a lot worse from my perspective.”

When a fan asked why Calvin unfollowed Swift on social media, only to follow her again on Wednesday, he explained:

“I cared too much and then I didn’t care at all. I am a real person remember.”

With talk circulating that Swift cheated on Harris with Hiddleston, the musician didn’t do much to quell those rumors.

“Not jealous sir, FREE,” he responded to someone who claimed he could be jealous of Taylor having moved on so quickly; and then Harris added the most revealing comment of all:

“Bro I didn’t leave anyone and she’s def not sad. It’s all good.”

There’s also been chatter that Swift dumped Harris over the phone, a pretty harsh and immature way to end any long-term relationship.

Calvin did not confirm this piece of gossip, but he did credit fan account @butikeepswifting for seemingly getting the story right.

“For all we know Taylor broke up with him to be with another man and this is quite upsetting. I would be hurt by that too. He’s not being mean,” the account shared last night, adding:

“He deserves to feel free while he’s single and not feel jealous.”

Harris responded to this post by writing the following:

“@butikeepswifting you’re the only smart one at this point.”
