Chip and Joanna Gaines: We"re Returning to Television!

Chip and Joanna Gaines are about to take a new step in their professional lives.

And it’s a significant one.

The former HGTV stars announced on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon on Friday that they will soon make their long-awaited return to television.

In what context? In what way?

The beloved couple remained mostly mum on the subject while chatting with the comedian last night.

“We signed a non-disclosure and it said quote unquote you can tell your mother but that’s it,” Chip joked on air, adding:

“So mom, I just wanted to make a quick announcement, we are coming back to television.

“You are going to get to see the kids grow up, you are going to see us, well maybe a six-month delay like the rest of the world, but we are excited to be back.”

Just over a year ago, Chip and Joanna announced that would be leaving Fixer Upper after five seasons.

Since then, the home renovation experts have been rather busy in their own home, having welcomed their fifth child in late June.

However, Magnolia spokesman John Marsicano talked to People Magazine and offered a lot more detail on what the future holds for his co-workers:

“We’re excited to share that we are currently in the early stages of talking with Discovery about a lifestyle-focused media network for Magnolia.

“The details surrounding this opportunity remain a work in progress, but together, our hope is to build a different kind of platform for unique, inspiring and family-friendly content.”

Speaking to Fallon, Chip did add the following:

“I think we’re really going to carve it out in a way that really makes sense to us and our families.

“It’ll be filmed a lot in Waco, Texas, so we don’t have to travel a whole lot. All things being equal, we could not be more excited.”

Chip and Joanna hosted the top-rated show on HGTV prior to leaving the small screen.

Fans fell in love with how they remade various homes, but also with how they joked around and interacted with each other.

The upcoming new network will be the latest addition to Chip and Joanna’s gigantic list of successful businesses.

This includes their lifestyle magazine The Magnolia Journal, the new Magnolia Table restaurant and the couple’s product line at Target.

Despite bidding farewell to Fixer Upper in April, Chip and Joanna have remained very active in the business world.

“The show was amazing and we are so thankful for it, but it’s also a whirlwind where, if you are not careful, it will flat run you over,” Chip told People in October.

Looking ahead, Discovery spokesperson David Leavy says the following:

“The Gaineses are exceptional people, true authentic storytellers and creative visionaries who will nourish millions of people with quality, family-friendly programming accessible on a 24/7 network and across all screens.

“Stay tuned…working out the final details…more to come soon!”

Joanna Gaines and Chip Gaines Welcome Fifth Child!

It’s officially time for Joanna Gaines and Chip Gaines to go from fixing up houses to changing dirty diapers.

That’s right, readers:

The beloved couple has welcomed its fifth child into its precious fold!

Without revealing the newborn’s measuremeants, gender or name, Chip broke this very exciting piece of news via a Tweet early Saturday morning that reads as follows:

And then there were 5.. The Gaines crew is now 1 stronger! 10 beautiful toes and 10 beautiful fingers all accounted for, and big momma is doing great!

The faithful reality star added the hashtah “#blessedBeyondBelief.”

The new addition joins siblings Emmie Kay, 8, Duke, 9, Ella, 11, and Drake, 13 in this large and close-knit family.

chip announcement

Chip and Joanna recently finished filming their final season of Fixer Upper, which has ranked as HGTV’s top-rated program for years.

They announced that Season 5 would be the series’ swan song prior to confirming Joanna’s pregnancy, telling fans at the time that they simply needed a break.

And now we know why!

In early January, the twosome revealed that a fifth son or daughter was on the way, doing so in the sort of adorable manner that made them such a popular couple in the first place.

“Gaines party of 7.. (If you’re still confused.. WE ARE PREGNANT) @joannagaines,” Chip wrote as a caption to the following image, which features his wife cradling his pretend baby bump while she shows her actual baby bump under a grey sweater.

Classic Chip, right?!?

There were actually some online concerns a few days later after Joanna’s ultrasound appeared to feature a complication for the fetus.

But it thankfully sounds now as if those worries were for naught and the baby is happy, healthy and… here!

At one point, Chip even joked about how his fifth kid came to be, sharing a hilarious tweet that spelled out exactly when he and Joanna had the sex that led to her expecting state.

“You might recall a few months back.. the ever amazing, ever romantic @JOHNNYSWIM was in Waco,” he wrote awhile back, adding:

“And they put on a little too romantic of a concert.. anyways, one thing led to another, & we are officially pregnant. And I could not be more EXCITED! #5 #7ThePerfectNumber.”

Once again: Classic Chip.

With no new season of Fixer Upper to film and with a baby at home, you probably won’t hear from Chip and Joanna for a little bit.

But they’re always sort of around and will likely be right back in the spotlight shortly.

Joanna has a new book out, after all, and the couple owns a restaurant and has its own Target line and pretty much has its foot in every conceivable aspect of the home design and renovation business.

We bet they end up starring in a new show at some point as well.

For now, though, it’s all about that new mouth to feed.

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!

Chip & Joanna Gaines Accused of Child Neglect By Raving Psycho

Even if you’ve never seen an episode of HGTV’s Fixer Upper, you’re probably familiar with Chip and Joanna Gaines

The handy couple is so ubiquitous that even now that they’ve stepped away from the show that made them famous, it seems one can’t log on to social media or scan the magazines in the checkout lane without seeing their photogenic faces.

And for one purveyor of scorching hot takes, that’s exactly the problem.

Daryl Austin is a USA Today columnist who thinks Chip and Joanna are 100% full of it.

He’s not denying that they built a successful media empire, and not he’s not predicting that they’ll fail in their efforts to create a popular retail brand.

No, Austin simply believes that the Gainses accomplished all of this at the expense of family togetherness.

He doesn’t have any proof that Chip and Joanna are neglecting their kids, but anyone that successful must be, right?!

We wish we were joking, but that really is the thrust of Austin’s argument.

In a recent piece entitled “Sorry but someone has to say it: Chip and Joanna Gaines do NOT put family first,” Austin claims that Chip and Joanna must be crappy parents because of how much they work.

The whole piece is imminently quotable, but we’ll just hit you with some choice excerpts:

“[Chip and Joanna] don’t want to be seen simply as a couple that can do it all. They want to be seen as a couple that can do it all while at the same time making their family their top priority,” Austin writes.

“This is just not possible, and it does a disservice to the parents who really are putting their children first.”

As fans of the couple know, Chip and Joanna are expecting their fifth child, and in their early 40s, they don’t seem to have lost a step.

This is simply not okay with Daryl Austin.

“No matter how rich and famous, we are all limited by the same 24 hours in a day,” he argues.

“You cannot do all they’ve done (or even a fraction of it) and still have any real time left over for family.”

So if you have kids, you just go ahead and toss all your career goals in the trash, because there’s simply no way for you to accomplish even a fraction of what Chip and Joanna have achieved now that you’ve committed the fatal error of procreation.

Austin doesn’t say exactly what fraction will cause you to absent-mindedly wrap a diaper around a frozen turkey and put your infant in the oven, but you better believe it’s low!

We’d shoot him an email and ask for more details, but we assume Daryl is busy explaining to his children that he would be a columnist for the New York Times right now if he’d only worn a condom.

Chip Gaines Receives Special Help to Confirm Baby Gender

Chip Gaines and Joanna Gaines are having a baby.

This is not news.

Heck, Joanna recently showed off her growing belly in a tight black dress, making it clear she isn’t keeping this pregnancy a secret of any kind.

But what kind of baby are Chip and Joanna having?

A boy or a girl?

This is a question that has not been answered…until now!

The Fixer Upper co-host took to Twitter this morning and shared a video that confirmed the gender of his impending child.

It’s unclear if this was really how Chip planned on making the announcement to his many followers, but make it he and his new friend surely did.

cg tweet

“Alright, alright … if we’re going to announce the gender of our #5th child. It might as well come from my new friend #Gage! Take it away my man. @tebowfoundation,” Chip wrote.

He then shared a video of his interaction with a little boy who Gaines met at the Tim Tebow Foundation’s golf weekend.

Kneeling aside a young boy with special needs, Chip smiles throughout the footage and says to Gage:

“We’re just about to have another little baby, because Uncle Chip lost his mind…

“I can’t think of a ‘D’ name. Can you help me think of a ‘D’ name?”

Chip then reveals that the D name is for a boy.

“Is that a secret? I don’t know, that might not even be allowed on Twitter. It’s a little boy and I need a ‘D’ name and so far, all I could come up with was Dragon, and she’s like, ’You are not calling that baby Dragon!’

“Can you help me?”

It’s VERY cute.

Check out the footage below:

Joanna and Chip are best known for having co-hosted five seasons of Fixer Upper on HGTV.

But they have also penned books, released clothing lines and just recently opened a restaurant in Texas.

They are already parents to Drake, 12, Ella, 11, Duke, 9, and Emmie Kay, 7.

But what’s one more child, right?!?

In alerting the universe to Joanna’s expecting state, Chip shared a photo of her belly and his pretend baby bump and then explained how this pregnancy happened, LOL:

“You might recall a few months back.. the ever amazing, ever romantic @JOHNNYSWIM was in Waco. And they put on a little too romantic of a concert.. anyways, one thing led to another, & we are officially pregnant.

“And I could not be more EXCITED! #5 #7ThePerfectNumber.”

As you can see below, fans of the reality stars are pretty excited over this development as well:

yay for chip

Fixer Upper’s final season is currently airing on HGTV Tuesdays at 9/8c.

We don’t know yet if Joanna gave Chip her blessing to reveal her baby’s gender in this manner…

… but who could be mad at the guy after a video such as this?

Chip and Joanna Gaines: Did They Quit Over a Bad Contract?

Fans were shocked to learn that Fixer Upper would be ending after only 5 seasons

Rumors flew — maybe it’s because their family is still growing. Maybe it’s because they wanted to work on their alleged marital troubles.

But now there’s a report that might finally make all of this make sense … despite the Gainses fervent denials.

There’s going out on a high note, and then there’s canceling your show at its height of popularity.

What gives?

Well, Joanna Gaines is pregnant with her fifth child. That’s a big deal for any couple on just about any show.

But if they were fine doing a show with four kids, then five wouldn’t hurt, right? That would just be more Gaines family for fans to love.

Then there’s the theory that they’re having marital problems. Even Chip Gaines admits that their relationship has imperfections.

But they say that they aren’t splitting. So why are they saying “no” to success?

They say that every safety rule, every regulation, every warning sign, and every contract is written based on history. On things that went wrong for one party or another.

It sounds like that extends to TV contracts, as well, because Page Six reports that Chip and Joanna are holding out for a better contract deal.

“Many years ago, when Scripps, which also owns Food Network, signed Rachael Ray, they didn’t think about Rachael starting a magazine, launching product lines, getting endorsement deals, and her books selling millions of copies.”

This comes from an HGTV Network insider, folks.

“And so while Food Network turned Rachael Ray into a star, she made tens of millions and Scripps got none of it.”

Some would argue that this is fair. That the network gets commercial revenue from the show itself, while Rachael Ray’s other projects are her own.

Others would say that, by giving her a platform, the network deserves a piece of the pie.

“After Rachael, they made sure no talent deal would ever put them in that situation again.”

“Since the Gaineses were relatively unknown when they started, they signed the general Scripps talent contract….”

Time and time again, we’ve heard of unknown people with star potential signing contracts that they would later come to regret.

“The talent can’t do anything without their approval — any appearance, any publicity, any endorsement, any product — you have to ask them for permission.”

That … sounds like hell.

“It is awful. And on top of that, Scripps takes a big percentage of everything you make — books, appearances, endorsements, products. If you make money, they take most of the money….”

They must feel like they’re trapped. Household names, but being paid a pittance of what many would consider them worth.

“So [Chip and Joanna] are using this end of their contract as a total renegotiation to get the deal they really want: more money, less work, more control.”

Apparently, the Gaineses believe that the odds are in their favor for one very good reason.

“The timing of Discovery buying Scripps worked well in their favor.”

Discovery knows the value of a reality series.

“With Discovery hopefully now about to own Scripps, they are rolling the dice thinking the new owners will come running after them and give them the deal they really want.”

It is a gamble, but perhaps it will pay off.

And if not, well, there are reports that the couple’s been meeting with other networks to pitch a new show.

Still (as you can see in the video above), the Gaineses have denied that this is about money.

They’re currently worth about $ 8 million each, but they suggested that they wouldn’t continue at this point, even if offered a ludicrous offer.

But … we have to consider that this could be their branding talking.

Some people find discussing money to be “vulgar,” and so if they were to admit: “Hey, we’re holding out for more money! Our millions aren’t enough!” it might hurt their brand.

For the sake of their fans, let’s hope that whatever it takes to get them back on TV happens.

Chip and Joanna Gaines FINALLY Address Rumors of Marital Troubles!

Fixer Upper is extremely popular, and so are its stars — Chip and Joanna Gaines. Which is why it"s so surprising that Fixer Upper is ending while it"s still going so strong.

Are we, as a society, so accustomed to shows jumping the shark that we can"t conceive of a show deliberately ending on a high note? Or is there something going on behind the scenes? Like, say, relationship trouble between Chip and Joanna?

Well, in the video below, the Fixer Upper couple is finally giving in to demands for answers.

As you"ll see in the video, Joanna and Chip Gaines finally cave and spoke to E! about the questions and rumors about their relationship and how it may have influenced their decision to end their show while it"s going strong.

And they"re denying everything, basically.

Chip expressed surprise, as he"d imagined that the news that the two of them were done with Fixer Upper would inspire fans to wonder what they were doing next.

That is … adorably naive.

Humans like puzzles and we like believable narratives and reasons that we can understand. "We quit our successful show because it was time" doesn"t strike most people as plausible.

Chip continues:

"It"s just the rumor mill — I think — surprised us a little bit."

You know … he might be telling the truth. Maybe they never expected the public to, right or wrong, guess that they were having issues.

But he says that he understands that they"re famous and that all of this goes with the territory.

"When you put yourself out in the public light like this, people are going to speculate like this and we have had our fair share of that, but Jo and I are just as happy as we have ever been."

There has to be something going on, right?

Joanna speaks up and acknowledges that fans have good reason to ask the questions that they"ve been asking, however:

"I think it seems weird to kind of leave on a high note. I think for people, there has got to be a negative reason to that. I think that is not always how life has to be."

Maybe, but that"s how life usually is.

Shows either stay good over long stretches, get better over time, get worse over time, or were terrible to start with. Otherwise, there"s something else going on.

"I think for us we felt that season five was just the perfect end to this beautiful chapter, but really the why is time, you know?"

So, basically, they just felt like not doing it anymore. That"s what she"s claiming.

"Unfortunately, I don"t think if they came back and offered a billion dollars that we would step back at this point."

Obviously, she"s relying upon the absurdity of that hypothetical scenario. Plenty of people would commit murder for a billion dollars.

"We are pretty headstrong and when we feel like it is the right decision for our relationship, for our family, for our business, it would take an act of congress to knock us off that position."

That"s a weird way of phrasing that, but whatever.

You know, depending upon rights ownership issues to which we aren"t privy, the network could always try to make it work under the same name.

A show called Fixer Uppers could be about, we dunno, interventions for people who take a lot of stimulants.

Or, with a tweak, Fixer Puppers could be about a veterinarian.

But it"s clear that the Gaines-es want us to be focusing on what they"re going to do next, professionally speaking.

That"s what we gather from Chip"s words, anyway. So … what exactly will they do next? We have no idea.

Joanna and Chip Gaines: It"s Over!*

* Professionally, that is.

With Chip Gaines having just released a new book, the HGTV star and his beloved wife have been sitting for a number of promotional interviews this week.

Plenty has been revealed in these segments, but perhaps the most intriguing tidbit of all is Chip’s admission that he’d be open to a return to television.

Under one condition, that is: Joanna isn’t invited!

Asked by Daily Pop host Justin Sylvester whether he could envision himself starring on another series down the line, Chip said the following:

“It would have to be a show where it would be me, just all by myself – that could be a thing that I would be interested in.”

He may have been joking, but he may also just be interested in branching out a bit.

Chip and Joanna shocked and saddened fans this month when they announced Fixer Upper was coming to an end after Season 5.

Asked about that decision in this interview, Joanna referenced her four children and stated:

“Our kids are getting older for us and time seems to be slipping away faster, so I think we wanted to take a step back and get refreshed and focus on what’s next for us.”

The stars are parents to Drake, 12; Ella, 11; Duke, 9 and Emmie Kay, 7.

In addition to Fixer Upper, which is HGTV’s top-rated program, the twosome have quite an empire.

There’s the home improvement business… their Magnolia Market store… their magazine, The Magnolia Journal … and retail collaborations, including a partnership with Target.

There have also been rumors of relationship tension between Chip and Joanna because the Internet can’t help but speculate on the status of famous couples.

And while Chip has shot down such chatter in the past, he actually gave it a “little credence” in speaking with The Today Show on Tuesday.

“For us, the most important thing in the world is Jo and I’s relationship, followed very quickly by these four beautiful kids [of ours],” he said, adding:

“We didn’t want to push it, to redline it for so long that we woke up and realized we are at a point of no return.

“We wanted to take a step back and focus on what is absolutely the most important thing to us.”

The Capital Gaines author continued:

“People in our inner circle, I tell them we’re as healthy as we’ve ever been. I just didn’t want to keep pushing this envelope to the fullest extent.

“We’re really thankful that we had the opportunity to step back and take a break.”

Things certainly do sound fine and dandy between the parents of four.

Consider Joanna’s caption to a new Instagram photo of herself, her husband and his book:

This guy right here… I get to live life with him. I get to hear his thoughts and benefit from his wisdom and encouragement on a daily basis.

The reason I am who I am today is because Chip pushed me to go for it. People think of him as a jokester, and he is. It’s a huge part of why I fell in love with him in the first place.

But he is so much more than that.

He is the ultimate cheerleader, coach and dream maker. I am so thrilled that his book releases today mostly because I believe it holds truth that the world is in desperate need of. I am always proud to be Chip’s wife but today more than ever. I know this book was a true labor of love.

Well done, Chip Carter Gaines!

Yeah. It’s safe to say these two are happy.

Chip Gaines and Joanna Gaines: Relationship Problems Revealed!

Chip Gaines and Joanna Gaines have accomplished the near impossible.

The married HGTV stars have managed to remain starkly in the spotlight for years… without almost any divorce chatter ever making its way around the Internet.

The parents of four will soon embark on what they’ve announced will be their final season of mega hit Fixer Upper and are generally considered one of the most loved couples on all of television.

Whereas starring roles on reality TV programs have driven other twosomes apart, the chemistry between Chip and Joanna has only intensfied over the years.

But this wasn’t always the case.

In his new memoir, “Capital Gaines: Smart Things I Learned Doing Stupid Stuff,” Gaines says his romance with Joanna was nearly over before it really began.

About six months into their relationship, Chip says he went to Mexico for 90 days to learn Spanish.

His then-girlfriend was placed in charge of his businesses* while he was away… and this caused a major problem.

(*Yes, Chip started a number of businesses before he settled on home renovation and real estate. Click on the slideshow below to find out more.)

“Your business is a joke!” she yelled, Chip admits in his book about a phone call they had just weeks after he left.

“All these people are coming to my dad’s shop demanding to be paid, and there’s no money. Lucky for you, your sad is bailing your sorry butt out. You have three days to get back to Texas or this relationship is over.”

Chip says the tone she used made it clear Joanna was dead serious.

“My heart broke,” he wrote, adding in the book:

“There are hard moments in life when you see yourself for the tonto that you are. This all felt so much bigger than a few bounced checks.

“Up until that moment, Jo had really respected me and the work that I did.”

So Chip rushed home to Texas and nearly proposed then and there.

He knew he couldn’t lose Joanna and he respected how straightforward she was acting when it came both to his business and to their relationship.

Today? No marriage is perfect, but this one does appear to be on television at least.

Still, Chip says the couple is “strengthening their marriage every day, which takes real time and effort.”

This is practically what Chip and Joanna said upon confirming Fixer Upper would end after Season 5.

“This is just us recognizing that we need to catch our breath for a moment,” they explained, concluding:

“Our plan is to take this time to shore up and strengthen the spots that are weak, rest the places that are tired and give lots of love and attention to both our family and our businesses.”

Chip and Joanna Gaines: Wait, Is THIS Why They"re Leaving Fixer Upper?

Fixer Upper will come to an end after Season 5.

This much we tragically know.

But WHY will Fixer Upper come to an end after Season 5? This question is now being debated around the Internet.

Upon announcing their decision to pull the plug on their hit HGTV home renovation show, Chip and Joanna simply said they needed a break.

The Waco, Texas-based couple has a number of business ventures outside of Fixer Upper and said in a statement that everything is moving a little too quickly at the moment.

“We would be foolish to think we can go and go and fire on all cylinders and never stop to pause,” explained everyone’s favorite reality show couple last month, adding:

“Our family is healthy and our marriage has honestly never been stronger.

“This has nothing to do with a fraudulent skincare line or anything else you’ll inevitably read. This is just us recognizing that we need to catch our breath for a moment.

“Our plan is to take this time to shore up and strengthen the spots that are weak, rest the places that are tired and give lots of love and attention to both our family and our businesses.”

As it turns out, Chip and Joanna were right to assume that fans would “inevitably read” reports to the contrary.

There’s one this week on The New York Post.

And it alleges the stars did not walk away from their highly-rated series simply because they were tired… but because they were angry over their contract.

The argument goes like this:

Fixer Upper is the highest-rated show on HGTV. The network, meanwhile, will soon be sold by Scripps to Discovery Communications.

And sources tell Page Six that Chip and Joanna think this deal will result in a better deal for them as well.

“Scripps talent contracts are very restrictive,” writes the aforementioned newspaper, expounding:

“The talent can’t do anything without their approval – any appearance, any publicity, any endorsement, any product – you have to ask them for permission. It is awful. And on top of that, Scripps takes a big percentage of everything you make – books, appearances, endorsements, products.

“If you make money, they take most of the money.”

It’s easy to see how this would be unappealing to a couple with an empire such as that of Chip and Joanna.

The Fixer Upper contract ends after Season 5 (which Joanna says will be awesome!), and this insider claims the couple is “using this end of their contract as a total renegotiation to get the deal they really want: more money, less work, more control.”

He adds:

“The timing of Discovery buying Scripps worked well in their favor.

“With Discovery hopefully now about to own Scripps, they are rolling the dice thinking the new owners will come running after them and give them the deal they really want.”

There would be nothing wrong with this at all if it’s true.

It’s pretty straightforward business.

A rep for HGTV, however, says the following:

“Of course, this inflammatory information is inaccurate. Chip and Joanna have already shared with their fans why they made their decision and we support them.”

And a rep for Chip and Joanna says the following:

“Chip and Jo’s decision to leave Fixer Upper is truly just based on wanting to catch their breath for a minute; to rest, refresh, and spend even more time with their family and growing businesses.

“It is not based on anything else people might read.

“They were very open and honest about their reasoning behind this decision when they first shared the announcement.”

We shall see.

It’s a cliche, but time will tell.

Chip and Joanna haven’t closed the door forever on Fixer Upper, but if you see the show back on the air pretty quickly after Season 5 ends, youl’l know who was telling the truth here.

"Fixer Upper" Stars Chip and Joanna Gaines Will End Show After 5th Season

Chip and Joanna Gaines: About That Divorce Chatter...

It happened to Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner.

It happened to Chris Pratt and Anna Faris.

Heck, it just happened to Fergie and Josh Duhamel.

No matter how happy and in love a couple in Hollywood may seem, you simply never know if they will last or not. It’s hard not to be a cynic.

This may explain why divorce chatter continues to follow around Chip and Joanna Gaines, the beloved twosome at the center of HGTV’s Fixer Upper.

They have four children. Their chemistry on screen is undeniable. But is it real?

Or is it just a show for the cameras?

In an interview this week with Jenna Bush Hager on The Today Show, Chip and Joanna did all they could to set the romantic record straight.

“It’s funny, when I think about these circumstances, I think they’re hilarious,” Chip said in a pre-taped segment, adding:

“I’m like, ‘I can’t believe that these things are happening to us.’ Because part of me feels, who would care about that?”

Who would care about their love lives enough to conjure up such sordid rumors, in other words?!?

What does Joanna think when it comes to tabloids or websites trying to stir up controversy between her and her goofball of a husband?

“I just don’t know what’s going on. So then I’ll hear someone come up to me and say, ‘I hear you and Chip are getting a divorce!’ And I’ll be like, ‘Where did you hear that?’

“I don’t know any of this!"”

Joanna, who specializes in interior design, wants to make sure fans do not believe what they read.

She wants everyone to know that none of this break-up talk comes from her or Chip… or anyone that really knows her or Chip.

“We do our due diligence in letting people know as much as we can, ‘This isn’t us. Don’t be scammed,"” says Joanna.

Last month, in response to a question on Twitter about whether he was splitting from his wife, Chip also aimed to be as clear as possible.

No words were minced. No bushes were beaten around.

“Won’t ever happen.. you can take that to the bank!” Gaines Tweeted, adding that Joanna is the “#loveOfMyLife.”

How sweet, right?

Instead of personal life drama, these HGTV stars are focused on their professional universe.

Fixer Upper is headed into its fifth season in their hometown of Waco, Texas – and there’s no end in sight.

“As long as it can work in Waco, in our backyard, it works for us,” Chip said on Today, concluding:

“We’ve got four kids who need us, we’ve got a business here that needs us, and something about our marriage – we do better when we’re on our home turf.”

“Home is the most important thing and the fact that we get to be a part of that is an honor,” Joanna adds.

Man, we adore these two. We hope they never change.
