Kylie Jenner & Travis Scott Address Breakup Rumors on Snapchat

As you’ve no doubt heard by now, Kylie Jenner welcomed her first child earlier this month.

And not surprisingly, rumors that baby daddy Travis Scott has dumped Kylie began to circulate almost immediately.

Throughout her pregnancy, Kylie kept the details of her personal life to herself, but now that she’s a mom, she’s once again a regular presence on social media.

And as you can see from the photo above, she’s not putting up with inaccurate tabloid reports about the state of her love life.

The selfie appeared on Snapchat earlie this week, and it seems to be Kylie and Travis’ way of confirming that they’re very much still together.

“Her relationship with Travis has made huge strides since having baby Stormi, and they are back in a good place,” the insider shared.

“Travis has been staying overnight at Kylie’s several times a week when he is not working or out of town and has also been giving Kylie her time to bond with the baby alone.”

“Kylie is like a new person now; every move and every decision she makes, she takes Stormi into consideration. She is obsessed with her baby and the focus is all on Stormi,” the insider claims.

The source says Kylie is also receiving plenty of assistance from her mom and sisters:

“All of her sisters are constantly checking in with her and coming over to the house to visit Stormi,” the informant adds.

“Kylie asks for advice all the time. She did prepare for the baby with several specialists and took private classes so she was well-prepared beforehand.”

So it sounds like despite a tidal wave of rumors to the contrary, Kylie’s got things pretty under control.

As for rumors that Kylie and Travis are engaged … well, the media may have jumped the gun on that one.

While Kylie has been sporting a ring in recent months, and it is a gift from Travis,

“He gave [the ring] to her when she was first pregnant and it has several emerald-cut diamonds,” the source described.

“They are in no rush to get married or even engaged, and Stormi is their only priority right now.”

The woman did just welcome her first child at 20.

Maybe everyone just needs to chill on pushing her into making another major life change.

Keaton Jones/Mother Address Video Backlash, Cries of Racism

On Tuesday morning, Tennessee middle school student Keaton Jones became an Internet hero after he explained, tearfully, on camera that he"s been the victim of horrible bullying for several weeks now.

Just a few hours later, the mother of Keaton Jones became an Internet villain.

In an odd story that sort of sums up the craziness of 2017, Jones sobbed into his mother"s phone that he was afraid to go to lunch due to the way he was treated by fellow students.

He then tried to be strong and tried to send a positive message of hope to other victims of bullying.

You can watch the video here:

It quickly went viral, with celebrities from all industries sending Keaton positive thoughts and inviting him to special events such as UFC pay-per-views and big-time movie premieres.

It appeared to be a sad story, but also an uplifting one with a happy ending.

However, later on Tuesday, Internet sleuths delved into the social media history of Keaton"s mother, Kimberly, and discovered a few controversial posts.

There was a Facebook photo, for instance, of the family posing with Confederate flags.

As a result, GoFundMe placed a campaign on pause that had raised $ 57,000 for Keaton and his loved ones.

There are now questions over whether the entire video was set up by Kimberly just to make her family lots of money.

In response to this scandal, both Keaton and his mom sat down for a pair of interviews this week.

“The only two photos – the only two photos on my entire planet that I am anywhere near a Confederate flag. It was ironic,” Kimberly told CBS News this morning, adding that there was no racist intent behind the images.

“I’ve said I spent most of my life being bullied and judged because I wasn’t racist…

“It was meant to be ironic and funny … I am genuinely truly sorry. If I could take it back, I would.”

Keaton says in the original video that bullies "make fun of my nose. They call me ugly. They say I have no friends."

And the 11-year old reiterated those claims to CBS, basically saying the video was his idea:

"I had enough of it. They had said that someone was going to beat me up in lunch so I texted my mom and I said, ‘What do I do here?’"

This is one of the controversial photos in question, shared by Kimberly earlier this year:

Talking to The Today Show, she said:

"Yesterday [Keaton] was a hero. You know, the world loved us. Today, the world hates us…

"I"m trying really hard to think that I was trying not to get caught up in the positives. So, we"re not going to get caught up in the negatives."

It"s unclear at the moment what will happen to the money earmarked for the Jones"s on GoFundMe.

But Kimberly’s daughter, Lakyn, defended her mother in a now-deleted Twitter post, writing:

“To those who think my mother is a racist, she is not. She is a southern woman who loves where she’s from. She believes in equality and doesn’t want any harm done to ANYONE.

"This is about bullying and my brother. Not her. Please leave it alone.”

Chip and Joanna Gaines FINALLY Address Rumors of Marital Troubles!

Fixer Upper is extremely popular, and so are its stars — Chip and Joanna Gaines. Which is why it"s so surprising that Fixer Upper is ending while it"s still going so strong.

Are we, as a society, so accustomed to shows jumping the shark that we can"t conceive of a show deliberately ending on a high note? Or is there something going on behind the scenes? Like, say, relationship trouble between Chip and Joanna?

Well, in the video below, the Fixer Upper couple is finally giving in to demands for answers.

As you"ll see in the video, Joanna and Chip Gaines finally cave and spoke to E! about the questions and rumors about their relationship and how it may have influenced their decision to end their show while it"s going strong.

And they"re denying everything, basically.

Chip expressed surprise, as he"d imagined that the news that the two of them were done with Fixer Upper would inspire fans to wonder what they were doing next.

That is … adorably naive.

Humans like puzzles and we like believable narratives and reasons that we can understand. "We quit our successful show because it was time" doesn"t strike most people as plausible.

Chip continues:

"It"s just the rumor mill — I think — surprised us a little bit."

You know … he might be telling the truth. Maybe they never expected the public to, right or wrong, guess that they were having issues.

But he says that he understands that they"re famous and that all of this goes with the territory.

"When you put yourself out in the public light like this, people are going to speculate like this and we have had our fair share of that, but Jo and I are just as happy as we have ever been."

There has to be something going on, right?

Joanna speaks up and acknowledges that fans have good reason to ask the questions that they"ve been asking, however:

"I think it seems weird to kind of leave on a high note. I think for people, there has got to be a negative reason to that. I think that is not always how life has to be."

Maybe, but that"s how life usually is.

Shows either stay good over long stretches, get better over time, get worse over time, or were terrible to start with. Otherwise, there"s something else going on.

"I think for us we felt that season five was just the perfect end to this beautiful chapter, but really the why is time, you know?"

So, basically, they just felt like not doing it anymore. That"s what she"s claiming.

"Unfortunately, I don"t think if they came back and offered a billion dollars that we would step back at this point."

Obviously, she"s relying upon the absurdity of that hypothetical scenario. Plenty of people would commit murder for a billion dollars.

"We are pretty headstrong and when we feel like it is the right decision for our relationship, for our family, for our business, it would take an act of congress to knock us off that position."

That"s a weird way of phrasing that, but whatever.

You know, depending upon rights ownership issues to which we aren"t privy, the network could always try to make it work under the same name.

A show called Fixer Uppers could be about, we dunno, interventions for people who take a lot of stimulants.

Or, with a tweak, Fixer Puppers could be about a veterinarian.

But it"s clear that the Gaines-es want us to be focusing on what they"re going to do next, professionally speaking.

That"s what we gather from Chip"s words, anyway. So … what exactly will they do next? We have no idea.

Tom Schwartz & Katie Maloney FINALLY Address Divorce Rumors

If you watch Vanderpump Rules online, you know that much of the show’s fifth season focused on the tumultuous relationship of Tom Schwartz and Katie Maloney.

There were times when it seemed the season finale would feature Maloney being loaded into the back of a police car after murdering  Schwartz with a jagged tequila bottle, but to the surprise of many, it actually concluded with Tom and Katie’s wedding.

They wrote their own vows and cried at the altar and acted just like two people who aren’t frequently filled with murderous rage for one another.

It was enough to make us think we’d badly misjudged TomKat 2.0 as a couple.

And then, last month, rumors about Schwartz and Maloney getting divorced began to circulate on social media.

Pretty much every married reality TV couple is subjected to this sort of thing at one point or another, but the Tom and Katie Splitsville reports were given extra credence by the fact that the originated with a tweet from friend and co-star Jax Taylor.

For weeks, Schwartz and Maloney were mum on the issue, and the fact that their social media pages offered no indication they’re still together further stoked the flames of speculation.

Last night, however, the Vanderpump couple sat down with E! News during a charity event at SUR and universally dismissed every rumor that their marriage is in trouble:

“We don’t heavily document our lives too much,” Katie said as Tom added:

“I just like putting weird and random stuff on my social media. I didn’t even notice that. It wasn’t an indication of some sort of subconscious reflection of the status of our relationship.”

“We are madly in love,” Maloney went on.

“I feel like marriage really suits us. We’ve been through so much, especially since last summer.”

She added:

“Everyone says the first year of marriage is the hardest, but it’s been like 89 percent blissful.”

(Ed note: Who the hell says the first year of marriage is the hardest?)

With his characteristic self-deprecating wit, Schwartz admitted that the relationship hasn’t been all smiles and sunshine:

“We like to think that we exorcised all the bad stuff. We got about 15 years worth of fighting out in about three years, so we’re good now. It’s been smooth sailing.”

He added:

“We’re not pretending that we’re perfect. We have our ups and downs, but for the most part—at least relatively speaking in comparison to our earlier relationship—it’s been blissful.”

Hmm … we’re always a little suspicious of people who throw around words like “blissful” a lot.

Brings to mind that one Facebook friend we all have who’s always posting inspirational memes about the importance of kindness, but is one parking ticket away from hurling a cinder block at a meter maid.

Katie wrapped things up by saying that despite the many, many indications to the contrary, all is extremely well in Bubba Land:

“I think having us put our stuff out there on the show, we can’t leave any questions unanswered or any rock unturned,” she told E!.

“We really have to explore it and dive in, and its scary to do that. But I think because we’ve had to do that that, we’ve been able to do a lot of work on ourselves and in our relationship.”

Sounds like someone’s been taking notes during couples counseling!

James Corden Opens London Show with Special Address

On far too many occasions this year, James Corden has opened The Late Late Show with a few words about a terrorist attack in Great Britain.

He was forced to do so after five people were killed and 40 injured after a heinous car and knife attack outside U.K. Parliament that afternoon.

And then he was forced to do so late last month after 22 people were killed and many more injured in a suicide bombing at an Ariana Grande concert in Manchester.

But Tuesday night was different.

The comedian didn"t just address the latest attack on London on Tuesday evening…

… he did so FROM London itself.

Just days after a terrorist attack killed seven people and injured 48 others, Corden and his staff took their talk show to the comedian’s native city for a few days.

Walking the streets of London, Corden addressed the incident and his decision as follows:

"I think about all the times since I took this job that I had to open our show talking about such atrocities. Trying to find the right words to say is impossible because there are none."

Corden then explained that he and his crew members were staying at a hotel just two minutes from where the attacks took place last week, adding that some folks might think it"s strange timing to do a variety show from the British capital in the wake of this incident.

"I couldn"t disagree more," he said, referencing Britain"s upcoming election for a new prime minister.

He also pointed out the Houses of Parliament during his walking monologue, saying that is "represents democracy, something that the people who carried out this attack hate."

Therefore, in conclusion…

"We"re going to bring you the silliest, stupidest, most fun-packed shows we"ve ever made for you to celebrate London, and Britain, and everything it has to offer.

And you know what?

"The people who carried out that attack, they would hate that too. I"m so proud to be broadcasting here from my hometown. I"m proud to show off its beauty, its diversity and its stoic British determination to let nothing or anybody stand in our way.

"This is not a country that feels afraid."

So well said.

We could not admire London residents any more for the way they"re responded to this attack.

Donald Trump Address to Congress: That Was ... Presidential?

President Donald J. Trump declared Tuesday in an address to Congress that a “new chapter of American greatness is now beginning.”

For the most part, he traded his usual contentious and aggressive tones for loftier – some might even say more presidential – rhetoric.

Making economic revival the centerpiece of his first address to Congress, Trump also delved into something he rarely does – specifics.

He issued a call to “restart the engine" of the economy through tax cuts, trade deals, immigration enforcement and $ 1 trillion in infrastructure.

Trump also called on Congress to replace the “imploding ObamaCare disaster” with legislation that lowers costs and expands access.

The 45th president focused largely on priorities at home, more than abroad, over his hour-long, decidedly upbeat and optimistic speech.

Those who witnessed Trump"s foreboding inauguration address likely were hoping for something more like this. Better late than never?

“Everything that is broken in our country can be fixed. Every problem can be solved. And every hurting family can find healing, and hope,” Trump said.

Urging lawmakers to "join forces" to deliver, he declared “the time for small thinking is over,” and said to “believe, once more, in America.”

“A new chapter of American greatness is now beginning. A new national pride is sweeping across our nation,” Trump told legislators.

“And a new surge of optimism is placing impossible dreams firmly within our grasp," he said during his “message of unity and strength.”

The generally well-received speech could mark an opportunity for Trump to reset his young presidency after a rocky start since January 20.

Clashes with the media and staffing controversies at times overshadowed action on the jobs front … and pretty much every other front.

In perhaps the most memorable moment, the audience broke out into extended applause as Trump acted like a true Commander in Chief.

Introducing the widow of William "Ryan" Owens, the Navy SEAL killed in a raid in Yemen last month, he paid tribute to the fallen service member.

Carryn Owens sobbed as lawmakers gave her a standing ovation as Donald Trump said the raid he participated in yielded vital intelligence.

His “legacy is etched into eternity,” Trump said.

Watch his full speech below.

Josh and Anna Duggar Address Divorce Rumors

Last week, several media outlets reported that Anna Duggar had met with a divorce lawyer after years of standing by husband Josh throughout numerous humiliating sex scandals.

Fans had been imploring Anna to leave Josh for years, and it was beginning to look like they would finally get their wish.

As the rumors continued to spread, new details emerged, including one that held that the divorce was triggered by fears of Josh’s secrets being exposed in a damaging new lawsuit.

Now, however, the couple is finally responding to the rumors, and their response will come as no surprise to those familiar with the Duggar methods of avoiding bad press.

“The report is absolutely not true,” a spokesperson for the family tells Fox News.

The statement comes on the heels of a report from In Touch that “confirmed” Josh and Anna had called it quits.

The smart bet would be that Josh and Anna are not breaking up, as divorce is strictly forbidden in their world, but there are a number of complicating factors at play here.

For one thing, it’s difficult gauge how Josh and Anna are doing as a couple, as they’re almost never seen in public together.

Josh has made few appearances since leaving rehab after six months of sex addiction treatment, and each time he was only photographed once or twice before disappearing back into hiding.

While he and Anna reportedly appeared to get along at events like Jinger Duggar’s wedding, it’s tough to determine if a couple is getting along based on their willingness to smile for a few wedding photos.

Adding to the complexity is the fact that the Duggars aren’t even permitted to discuss divorce as an option when they’re determining how to go forward in a troubled marriage.

If a separation were to take place, it would likely be all Anna’s idea, and the Duggars would likely do everything they could to keep news of it out of the tabloids.

That would include, of course, issuing a denial like the statement they just gave to Fox.

We’re not saying that the Duggars are lying, necessarily.

But we are saying that if the situation is playing out the way In Touch claims, they most likely would lie in order to protect the family’s already tarnished reputation.

We’ll have updates on this situation as more information becomes available.

Donald Trump Inaugural Address: Did He Insult Every Former President?

Well, it’s official.

Whether you hate it or really hate it, Donald Trump is now the 45th President of the United States.

At noon today, Trump was sworn into office, and in addition to Rick Rolling America with promises of never giving you up or letting you down, he roasted the folks sharing the stage with him like he was reenacting the final scene of 8 Mile.

In an address that often sounded more like a campaign speech, Trump struck what analysts (including Republicans like NBC’s Hugh Hewitt) are calling a “grim” and “divisive” tone.

It didn’t come as much of a shock, as Trump rode his “us against them” mentality all the way to the White House, and he’s thus shown no interest in “acting more presidential,” as he’s frequently promised he would.

Some are going so far as to call today’s speech a new low for Trump, as he took his first speech as president as an opportunity to criticize and insult those who held the office before him.

Shortly after thanking the Obamas for their graciousness during his transition, Trump turned on them and just about every one else on Capitol Hill, stoking the flames of outrage by claiming that all politicians have been amassing power and wealth at the expense of the American people:

“For too long, a small group in our nation’s capital has reaped the rewards of government while the people have bore the cost,” Trump told the crowd.

“Washington flourished, but the people did not share in its wealth. Politicians prospered but the jobs left and the factories closed.”

He added:

“The establishment protected itself, but not the citizens of our country.

“Their victories have not been your victories.

“Their triumphs have not been your triumphs. And while they celebrated in our nation’s capital, there was little to celebrate for struggling families all across our land.”

Historian Doris Kearns-Goodwin snidely called the address “the best campaign speech” of Trump’s career, noting that he “made enemies” of both Capitol Hill and “the world at large.”

Lester Holt noted that he “found [himself] squirming” during the address, as he felt that Trump was “indicting many of the people he shared a platform with.”

Naturally, Trump supporters have lauded the speech, with some incorrectly claiming that it’s the first time a president has mentioned God in an inaugural speech.

(In fact, every president has ended his address with “God bless America.”)

Chuck Todd called the mistaken assertion evidence of the “informational divide” between Trump supporters and the rest of the nation.

Sadly, that divide will likely get deeper in the years to come.
