Robert Yancy Dies; Son of Natalie Cole Was 39
Sad news out of Hollywood today, as a family that’s already been touched by tragedy on several occasions has suffered yet another loss.
Robert Yancy, the son of singer Natalie Cole, was found dead in his San Fernando Valley apartment late last night.
He was just 39 years.
Family members tell TMZ that authorities contacted them at 2:30 on Sunday morning to inform that Robert died of a heart attack.
The death is being listed as a result of natural causes pending the results of a full autopsy and toxicology report.
Yancy’s mother, Natalie Cole, died of congestive heart failure believed to have been brought about by hard drug use in 2015, but those who knew him best say Robert never suffered from substance abuse issues.
Friends tell TMZ that after a number of personal setbacks, Yancy was happy, seemingly healthy, and “turning his life around” in the weeks before his passing.
Robert’s father died of a heart attack at the age of 34, leading many to the conclusion that severe heart disease simply runs in the family.
At least one insider says authorities were clear that there’s no reason to suspect that drugs or foul play were involved in Yancy’s death.
The son of Cole and her first husband, Marvin Yancy, a singer for the R&B group The Independents, Robert was a lifelong music lover who was working in the industry at the time of his death.
Robert gained major media attention last year, when he slammed the Grammys for failing to pay proper tribute to his mother following her unexpected passing.
“She deserves more than that because she has done so much,” he said at the time.
“To have my mother treated with the disdain and disrespect that she was treated with last night, it’s just unacceptable. It was not right.”
Cole, the first black performer to win a Best New Artist Grammy, received no tribute beyond a brief segment in the show’s annual “In Memoriam” montage.
Robert’s grandfather, the legendary jazz musician Nat King Cole, also passed away prematurely, succumbing to lung cancer in 1965 at the age of 45.
Robert Yancy has already been the subject of thousands of heartfelt tributes on social media.

Chelsea Houska: See the Most ADORABLE Moment Between Aubree and Cole DeBoer!
If you watch Teen Mom, chances are you really, really love your trashy reality television — and hey, there"s nothing wrong with that.
Most people can"t look away from a good train wreck, and, for the most part, that"s what Teen Mom is.
But in between all the relentless drama, between Jenelle Evans having meltdowns and Farrah Abraham yelling at literally every person she comes across, it"s good to have a palate cleanser.
You know, a cute moment, something to lighten the mood.
And Chelsea Houska"s life has become the sweetest palate cleanser there is.
Sure, she"s still got some Adam Lind drama, but we don"t see as much of it as we used to on Teen Mom 2.
These days, it"s pretty much just baby stuff, sweet scenes with Aubree, and Chelsea and Cole being #relationshipgoals all day long.

In the clip, which is seriously so very, very precious, Aubree and Cole are hanging out while Chelsea tends to little baby Watson.
They decide to make some ghost spray, or as Cole calls it, "Aubree"s Powerful, Butt-Kickin" Ghost Spray."
He helps her make the label and mix the formula — it looks like the ghost spray consists of mostly glitter — and then instructs her to spray him once "so I can have protection."
Yes, Cole, a grown man, lets Aubree spray him with glitter.
The love must be so real.
She then uses some of the spray on Chelsea — just her legs though, since she"s feeding Watson — and she also squirts some around the living room.
When she"s done, she gives Cole a hug as he congratulates her on a job well done.
And just like the Grinch, our hearts grew three sizes by watching this.

Liam Payne and Cheryl Cole: When Will They Get Married?
First comes love? Then comes marriage? Then comes a baby in a baby carriage?
Try telling that to Liam Payne and Cheryl Cole.
The gorgeous couple has gone the non-traditional route with its romance, falling for each other and then having a baby… all without a single knot being tied.
Indeed, last week, Cole gave birth to a baby boy, providing the stars with their very first child together; and giving Payne a chance to gush over the newborn online.
“My close friends and family know there are very few times when I’m left speechless… wow!” the singer wrote as a caption to the precious photo down below.
He added on Instagram:
“I’m incredibly happy to welcome our new baby boy into the world, it’s a moment that I will never forget for the rest of my life and my favourite memory I have so far.
“I’m completely in awe of his incredible mother and how she has been the whole way through this, she’s really made my dreams come true.
“We haven’t named him yet but he’s already capturing hearts including mine. I feel very blessed.”
AWWWWW, right?!?
Now, however, with the baby squared away and their relationship having been taken to a new level, fans are starting to wonder when it will be taken to yet another new level.
As in:
When will Payne and Cole get married?!?
According to an OK! Weekly source, the special event may take place in the somewhat near future, although Cole is in no rush because she’s already been wed twice (to Ashley Cole and then to Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini).
“Because this will be her third marriage, Cheryl doesn’t want a circus,” an insider tells the tabloid, adding of Cole’s dream nuptial scenario:
“She’d rather have just close friends and family. She’d also love the baby to be sitting on their laps in the wedding photos.”
Payne, however, “would still like a huge celebration,” a different source tells Closer Magazine, explaining:
“He wants to shout about their wedding from the rooftop.”
Well, yeah. Isn’t that how you’d feel if you were going to marry Cheryl Cole?!?
More reserved than her rumored husband-to-be, Cole shared the same photo of Payne and her brand new son above, writing as a straightforward caption at the time:
“On Wednesday Liam and I became parents to an incredibly beautiful, healthy baby boy looking like a dream.”
Despite their global popularity, which is off the proverbial charts in Great Britain, Cole and Payne are a pretty private twosome.
Good luck finding a photo of them out and about at a movie premiere together or even walking down the stree, holding hands together.
We’d imagine their spend even less time in the spotlight now that they have a little one at home, too.
Still, The Daily Star quotes a friend who is confident Liam will propose one of these days. He’s just waiting for the perfect moment.
“There will definitely be wedding bells sooner than we expected,” this newspaper writes.

Liam Payne & Cheryl Cole Welcome First Child!
There’s officially a new member of the One Direction Dads’ Club!
Liam Payne took to Instagram moments ago to confirm that he and girlfriend Cheryl Cole have welcomed a baby boy.
It’s the first child for both.
Payne confirmed the news by posting the photo above, along with a heartfelt message praising his loved ones and fans for their continued support:
‘My close friends and family know there are very few times when I’m left speechless… wow! I’m incredibly happy to welcome our new baby boy into the world, it’s a moment that I will never forget for the rest of my life and my favourite memory I have so far.
“I’m completely in awe of his incredible mother and how she has been the whole way through this, she’s really made my dreams come true.
He added that the child does not yet have a name, writing:
“We haven’t named him yet but he’s already capturing hearts including mine. I feel very blessed.”
Cole posted the same photo to her own social media accounts along with the following caption:
“On Wednesday, 22nd March Liam and I became parents to an incredibly beautiful, healthy baby boy, weighing 7lb 9 and looking like a dream.
“Although he still doesn’t have a name he is already stealing hearts. We are all madly in love and overwhelmingly happy with our little arrival.”
She added:
“Happy Mother’s Day to all the mothers around the world. A day that now has a different meaning to me forever.”
Yes, tomorrow is Mother’s Day in the UK, and little As-Yet-Unnamed arrived just in time the make the occasion all the more special to Cheryl.
After meeting when he auditioned for The X Factor back in 2010, Cole and Payne began dating last spring.
The early days of their romance were marred by controversy, as it was widely rumored that Cole had left her husband for Payne, who’s ten years her junior.
(1D fans tend to scrutinize their favorite lads’ love lives just a bit.)
Just six months later, rumors that Cole was pregnant with Payne’s baby began to circulate on social media.
Just last month, Cole debuted her baby bump in public for the first time, and now she and the boy band beau are parents to a bouncing baby boy!

Cheryl Cole Debuts Baby Bump, Confirms Liam Payne Pregnancy
Let there be no more debate.
Let there be no more discussion and no more questions over the status of Cheryl Cole’s womb.
The singer herself has come out and confirmed the miraculous news: She and Liam Payne are expecting a baby!!!!!
Rumors of Cole being pregnant first made the Internet rounds in October.
There wasn’t a ton of evidence behind the reports at the time, however, just the sighting of Cheryl’s mother buying a few pregnancy items in Great Britain, along with the belief that Cole was seen out in a loose-fitting outfit in order to hide her growing belly.
In January, however, the pregnancy chatter grew a lot stronger… thanks to Niall Horan.
Asked about the his One Direction friend’s alleged bundle of impending joy in an interview, Horan seemingly slipped up and said he’s “looking forward to meeting” Payne’s baby.
“Liam hasn’t said he nervous, but I’m sure he is,” Horan said, firmly planting his foot deeply into his mouth at the time and adding:
“I bet he can’t wait as well. It is a very exciting thing in your life.. He’s great and she’s lovely, it will be a lovely child.”
But now we have 100% confirmation that Cole and Payne truly are expecting.
It’s not based anything Cole’s mother has done or anything Horan has said. It’s based on the following photo:

Indeed, following months of widespread speculation and total silence from the parents-to-be, the X-Factor U.K. judge debuted her precious tummy in a photo shoot for L’Oreal and The Prince’s Trust.
In a photograph published by The Daily Mirror, Cheryl wraps her arms around her stomach while rocking a black, long sleeve dres over her body.
As you can see above and below, she’s smiles softly for the camera – and for good reason!
She’s going to be a mother!
Cole is 33 and Payne is 23. Both are very attractive and this will be their first child.
The One Direction star began dating Cole about a year ago, confirming their relationship three months later at a charity gala.
The artists met on the set of The X Factor in 2008 after Liam auditioned for the series, the first step in Payne’s path to global prominence as a member of One Direction.
He is yet to speak on the little boy or girl who looks as if he or she will enter the world any week now, at least based on this photo of Cole.
Once Payne becomes a father, he’ll be the second member of his beloved boy group to become an expert at diaper-changing and bottle-feeding.
Just over a year ago, Louis Tomlinson welcomed a baby with past lover Briana Jungwirth.
Along with Cheryl Cole, such mega huge stars as Beyonce and George Clooney are also set to become parents in 2017.

Cole DeBoer Posts the Cutest Photo of Baby Watson EVER
Cole DeBoer is one proud papa, and Chelsea Houska’s husband can’t wait to tell the whole world about it via pics of his baby son Watson.
Honestly, who could blame the man?!
The Teen Mom 2 star has been a father to his newborn child for only a few days now, but clearly he’s taken to the role with flying colors.
And love. Lots and lots of love.
“Honestly the love I have for this little man is outrageous!!! It hurts @ chelseahouska,” DeBoer wrote of his son, who was born last week.
While all of the previous shots of the little fellow shared by the Teen Mom 2 tandem have been beyond cute, this one may be next level.
Precious Watson Cole wore a white long-sleeved shirt with his name on it, along with a striped black and white beanie, in the pic he shared.
He’s also smiling. OMG OMG.
DeBoer has had some time to practice his dad skills, as his wife famously had her daughter, Aubree, with her ex-boyfriend Adam Lind.
Cole married Houska, 25, in October.
She announced she was expecting again in July, and rather than put off getting married, they simply postponed their wedding celebration.
The two made it official before Watson’s birth, and are saving the full-on reception for their first anniversary, which is a terrific compromise!
Chelsea unveiled the pregnancy with the help of her 7-year-old daughter holding a sonogram attached to a round wood cutout.
She while she and DeBoer held hands in the background. Houska later revealed that she was having a boy, and wrote on her website:
“Cole is the PROUDEST man I have ever seen, and cannot wait to have his son. He’s already planning his future hunting and fishing trips, haha!”
“This little dude is constantly kicking and rolling around, and both his daddy and sister always have their hands on my belly to feel him.”
The child made his precious Instagram last Wednesday in a black and white photo of his adorably tiny hand holding his adoring mother’s.
“Welcome to the world, sweet boy,” Houska wrote, before revealing the name she had teased, but kept secret throughout her pregnancy.
Chelsea had promised that while based on a common last name, it was one that she had “never heard before” used as a first name.
No alternative facts here – she was speaking the truth!
We couldn’t be happier for Chelsea, and not just because of Watson Cole, but because of the man who gave her son his middle name.
Whereas her former beau Adam Lind is selfish, irresponsible (he doesn’t even pay child support), verbally abusive, and generally toxic …
Cole is the utter opposite of all of those traits.
Attentive, devoted, compassionate, reliable and steady as they come, it’s not hard to see why Chelsea married the South Dakota outdoorsman.
And why they’re universally popular among those who watch Teen Mom 2 online, where watching their story play out has been magical.

Cheryl Cole: ACTUALLY Pregnant With Liam Payne"s Baby!
When we first learned that Liam Payne and Cheryl Cole were dating, few believed that the couple would last.
After all, Cheryl is ten years Liam’s senior, and their relationship seemed like a classic rebound fling.
(Cole was still married at the time she started dating Payne.)
Now, however, it looks like millions of hopeful Directioners have cause to be disappointed, as Liam and Cheryl have apparently taken a major step forward together.
No, they’re not getting married – but they’ll definitely be tied to one another til death do they part.
Back in October, several media outlets reported that Cole is pregnant with Payne’s baby.
Today, that rumor seems to have been confirmed by Payne’s former bandmate and close friend Niall Horan.
Asked about the Payne’s forthcoming bundle of joy in a recent interview, Horan slipped up and said he’s “looking forward to meeting” Payne’s baby.
“Liam hasn’t said he nervous but I’m sure he is. I bet he can’t wait as well. It is a very exciting thing in your life,” the 23-year-old added.
“He’s great and she’s lovely, it will be a lovely child.”
Whoops.
Considering Cole and Payne have both been mum on the subject, we’re guessing they were planning to keep it under wraps a little while longer.
So much for that plan.
Of course, they weren’t making much of an effort to keep the pregnancy on the down-low.
The first round of rumors began when Liam proclaimed himself “the luckiest man in the world” in his Twitter bio.
Shortly thereafter, the media noticed that Cole appeared to be sporting bump-concealing clothing.
No word on the due date, but if Cole was already showing in early October, the little one should be along in the next three or four months.
Liam, of course, won’t be the first bloke to expand the One Direction family.
Louis Tomlinson became a father when his former girlfriend Briana Jungwirth gave birth in January of 2016.
Little Freddie Reign celebrated his first birthday just last week.
Tomlinson has gushed about the joys of fatherhood in several interviews in the year since he welcomed his baby boy.
Maybe seeing how happy his friend is inspired Louis to take a shot at being a dad.
Of course, he and Cole seem a bit more serious as a couple than Louis and Briana ever were.

Chelsea Houska and Cole DeBoer Get Racy AF on Instagram!
Marriage has really changed Chelsea Houska.
Or at least that’s what it seems like, anyway.
For a while now, Chelsea has been a real class act, avoiding arrests and sex tapes and pointless nude photo shoots — something we can’t say for her fellow Teen Mom costars.
But now, after one month of marriage (and at 27 weeks pregnant, no less), Chelsea’s ready to switch things up.
Is that a photo of Chelsea’s new husband, Cole DeBoer, getting up close and personal with her breasts?!
Yes, yes it is.
And we are positively scandalized.
Don’t worry though, because as unexpectedly racy as the photo may be — he’s got his lips puckered and he’s zeroing in on her boobs, y’all, that’s PG-13 as hell — we’ve got some sweet updates, too.

“27 weeks!” she captioned the photo, shared just a few days ago.
“I cannot wait to meet this sweet little boy!”

Chelsea Houska: I Want Cole DeBoer to Deliver My Baby!
How cute are Chelsea Houska and Cole DeBoer?!
You really don’t even have to answer that: they’re so cute that our minds probably can’t even properly comprehend just how cute they are.
They’re that cute.
And right now Chelsea is pregnant with their first child together — she’s already mother to one adorable little girl, Aubree, obviously — so things are only going to get sweeter for them.
Oh, but just you wait till you hear these new details that Chelsea’s giving out about the pregnancy.
Can a person’s brain literally explode from delight?
We’re about to find out.
First, Chelsea asked her Twitter followers about some thoughts she’d been having about delivering her baby.
“Opinions from people who had a photographer during labor/birth?” she wrote.
“I’m considering it, but want to hear what other people thought!”
One woman told her that she’s had the birth of her baby photographed and that she loved the experience, which was apparently what Chelsea wanted to hear.
“I think I’m going to!” she tweeted in response. “I’ve only ever heard amazing things.”
“I’m excited to see my husband’s reaction since normally that’s not something I would be paying attention to right when the baby is born!”
Someone told her to “just vlog it!”, and Chelsea joked “I’ll have Cole get up in there! Lol.”
But it turns out that Chelsea’s comment wasn’t just a joke, because it sounds like she actually is having Cole get up in there.
“We are also planning on having Cole help with the delivery!” she revealed.
“A big reason why I want to capture the moment! Amazing photo!”
And we have to agree, it definitely would be an amazing photo, but it’s unlikely we’d ever get to see it.
Chelsea and Cole are very private — remarkably private, really, when you consider Chelsea reality television career.
All the way back in January, after they got engaged, Chelsea stated that she wouldn’t allow the wedding to be filmed.
At the time, an insider added that “Chelsea wants her wedding to be very private and low-key.”
“MTV is begging her to let them film it but Chelsea refuses,” the source continued. “She usually stands firm on stuff like this, so it’s unlikely that she’ll change her mind.”
“Besides, Cole has never really been comfortable doing things on-camera.”
And when they got married earlier this month, there were no cameras, and they just shared a single photo from their big day.
So if Chelsea and Cole didn’t feel comfortable sharing much from a day when they got dressed up and professed their love for each other, it seems highly unlikely they’d share anything about the birth of their child.
And damn, what a shame.
Understandable, of course, but still … such a crying shame.
