Becca Kufrin Seeks Revenge in First Bachelorette Promo
She who forgets the past is destined to repeat it, right?
This is a lesson Becca Kufrin appears to have taken to heart.
As reality TV fans know all too well, Becca was humiliated a few months ago by Arie Luyendyk Jr.
First, she was selected as his bride-to-be, in a proposal that actually opens the following preview for this new season of The Bachelorette.
Then, she was dumped in front of ABC cameras after Arie decided he"d rather be with Lauren Burnham instead.
Now, Arie and Lauren are engaged and planning their wedding… while Becca is planning her revenge.
Sort of.
In the promo below, Kufrin takes the giant red heart on which footage of Arie"s proposal is playing and rips it in half with a defiant head tilt.
She"s ready to move on, clearly.
She"s ready to be the person in control, choosing her own husband from a group of 25 suitors.
Based on a handful of already-leaked The Bachelorette spoilers, we actually know who the final husband contenders will be.
But we don"t ruin that surprise just yet.
In this teaser, Becca sort of dances around and poses to Kesha"s "Woman," as the words, "independent woman" flash onto the screen.
"Let"s do the damn thing," Kufrin says in what has sort of become her tagline.
She also said the following to Chris Harrison in March, about getting dissed by Arie in front of millions and then about being chosen as The Bachelorette:
"Once I got past the initial heartbreak, at the end of the day the show is about finding love. I have so much love to give, so hard yes [to being The Bachelorette] all around."
We"re rooting for Becca.
She has handled this ordeal about as well as could possibly be expected.

Josh Duggar Lawsuit: DJ Claims People Called Him "Duggar’s Boy Toy," Seeks Damages
With the premiere of Season 4 of Counting On just two weeks away, this is probably last thing the Duggar family would like to focus on:
Josh Duggar is heading to court to face off with the man oddly caught up in his cheating ways – and the consequences could be severe.
The disgraced first-born of Jim Bob and Michelle’s 19 Kids and (hopefully not still) Counting is officially due in court Thursday, June 22.
There, he’ll face off with the L.A. man whose photo he ganked for secret dating and hookup accounts, exposed two summers prior.
Incredibly, Josh bogarting pics of DJ Matt McCarthy to hit on women on Ashley Madison, OK Cupid and Twitter is still dogging him.
McCarthy sued him in August 2016, claiming that this act hurt personal and professional reputation and that he is entitled to damages.
The idea that Josh Duggar using his photos to hit on women irreparably impacted a guy that no one had ever hurt of? Kind of absurd.
Still, Josh has been unable to settle or dismiss the case.
Where it gets interesting is that McCarthy’s attorney wants to know about everyone Josh communicated with using the stolen photos.
To “better understand the extent of his deception,” duh.
Put another way, there’s a real possibility that every woman Josh contacted while using OKCupid and Ashley Madison may be revealed.
Of course, it’s more than likely that those sites are complete scams and took his money while serving up fake profiles left and right.
How do we know? Danica Dillon, a dancer and sometime porn star, came forward almost immediately to allege an affair with Duggar.
No one else did so, and you can best believe that he did meet any women online, they would’ve come out of the woodwork immediately.
We’d love to see Josh file a lawsuit against Ashley Madison and company for fraud, alleging that its female users are actually all bots.
Wishful thinking.
More realistically, Josh’s counsel looking to dismiss the case by arguing that having the proceedings play out in California is improper.
McCarthy’s side is arguing that since he lives in California and the (alleged) damages to his career happened there, the state is appropriate.
In the complaint filed in LA Superior Court, McCarthy claimed that his high school teacher called to tell him that Josh had used his photos.
The teacher then supposedly inquired if McCarthy had engaged in a sexual relationship with Josh, which is absolutely hilarious if true.
McCarthy says he was subsequently flooded with calls, emails, and harassment family, friends, professional partners, and even strangers.
He also claimed in court documents that he has been called Duggar’s Boy Toy and DJ Duggar, among other epithets, since the scandal.
Again, hilarious, but again, we’re not buying the claim that being linked to Josh in this way caused him some kind of professional harm.
Yes, Josh is child molester and adulterer whose mere existence is highly offensive, but that doesn’t mean this lawsuit is not frivolous.
McCarthy is seeking damages in excess of $ 25,000, which is possibly the funniest detail of all, since his legal fees could easily surpass that.
This is L.A., after all.
After the world learned that Josh molested his sisters – the Duggar girls recently filed their own lawsuit over that – his fans were appalled.
Months later, when he was outed cheating on long-suffering wife Anna Duggar, fans were even more appalled by the act, and hypocrisy.
Yet she somehow stuck by him after he was shipped off to a Christian-based sex rehab clinic in 2015 and stayed for over six months.
Anna Duggar is pregnant with her fifth child and there’s even been talk of Josh returning to Counting On this season on TLC.
The Duggar brand may be in greater jeopardy, though, than Josh’s marriage if this lawsuit really ends up in court next month.
Barring a last-minute settlement, we could get a steady drip of Josh headlines for weeks … and none of them will be positive.

Christina El Moussa Debuts New Hair, Seeks to Show Up Tarek
Christina El Moussa and Tarek El Moussa no longer share a bed.
But they clearly still share an interest in one another.
The Flip or Flop co-hosts separated last May and filed for divorce in December.
They continue to film episodes of their home flipping reality series, however, and continue to co-parent a one-year old son and a six-year old daughter.
They also continue to say nice things about each other to the press, denying rumors of infidelity on both sides and repeating over and over that the well-being of their children is their top priority.
But read between the lines, people.
Actually: check out their social media photos.
Then, you’ll see some serious tension has formed between Tarek and Christina.
It all started a couple weeks ago, back when Christina flaunted her bikini body for the entire world to drool over.
Was she simply taking fans behind the scenes of a photo shoot with her daughter? Having some innocent fun?
Or was she sending a message to Tarek via some kind of revenge body he’ll never get to touch again?
Tarek responded to the picture above and others like it by releasing his own set of sultry photographs.
Taking the Internet by storm, El Moussa went ahead and unveiled a set of rippling muscles and a tight physique that we had no idea had been hiding under his shirt for so long.
The home renovator denied, of course, that he showed so much skin in response to his estranged wife having recently done so herself.
“This is after battling 2 cancers and a debilitating back injury,” Tarek wrote as a caption to the following image, adding:
“My doctor said “You would probably never be able to lift weights again”… that motivated me to prove him wrong and get into the best shape of my life!!!
“Remember….it’s not the size of the dog in the fight, it’s the size of the fight in the dog.”
We weren’t the only website speculating on whether this was a battle of the hot bodies between Tarek and Christina.
And now we appear to have a showdown of hairstyles.
Over the weekend, Tarek debuted a fresh haircut, even joking at the time that so many changes clearly meant he was going through a midlife crises.
“OH NO!!! New #clothing.. New #hairstyle…. #No more sandals!! Half #naked pics!!! Is this a mid life crisis??” Tarek wrote along with the following image.
We didn’t think much of it…
… until Christina then went ahead and changed her hairstyle as well!
The 33-year-old traded in her straight hair for a sassy, curly hairstyle at the 2017 Real Estate Wealth Expo in Chicago Sunday.
The HGTV star herself didn’t share the new ‘do on Instagram, but she did reference the salon that came up with it for her.
“Had so much fun presenting at the real estate expo … now back to Cali… [peace] out Chicago,” Christina wrote on her account.
“Thank you so much for the beautiful hair and makeup @nikimoonsalon.”
Niki Moon Salon then posted the following picture, along with the following caption:

Tarek and Christina’s future on HGTV remains up in the air.
Most signs point to the network giving the axe to Flip or Flop after Season 7, which likely explains why Christina has been making so many media rounds of late.
She’s angling for a spinoff and/or simply trying to push her own brand.
But let’s hold off on predicting her professional future for a moment. Let’s focus on her personal future instead.

Terminally Ill Children"s Author Seeks New Wife for Husband in Heartbreaking Essay
Hope you’re ready for a good, long cry, because it’s coming your way fast.
Amy Krouse Rosenthal, if you’re not familiar with her work, is a bestselling author. She’s written several children’s books, but she’s also written a couple of memoirs.
But her latest work could very possibly be her last work, and that’s because Amy has ovarian cancer and isn’t expected to live very much longer.
The work in question is an essay written for the New York Times titled “You May Want to Marry My Husband.”
Because this woman has been married for over two decades, and she is such an unbelievable gem that she’s spending some of her last moments looking out for her husband.
See what we mean about the crying?
“I have been trying to write this for a while,” she begins, “but the morphine and lack of juicy cheeseburgers (what has it been now, five weeks without real food?) have drained my energy and interfered with whatever prose prowess remains.”
“Still,” she writes, “I have to stick with it, because I’m facing a deadline, in this case, a pressing one. I need to say this (and say it right) while I have a) your attention, and b) a pulse.”
Amy says that she’s married to “the most extraordinary man,” and while they’ve been married for 26 years, “I was planning on at least another 26 together.”
She then explains that on the same day their third and youngest child left for college, she and her husband went to the emergency room for what they thought was appendicitis but what turned out to be ovarian cancer.
“So many plans instantly went poof,” she writes — no international adventures with her husband or her parents, no writers’ residencies.
“This is when we entered what I came to think of as Plan ‘Be,"” she continues, “existing only in the present. As for the future, allow me to introduce you to the gentleman of this article, Jason Brian Rosenthal.”
Yep, so let’s kick the heartache up a notch.
Amy writes that her husband Jason is “an easy man to fall in love with,” and she knows because she did it in one day — on a blind date when they were 24 years old.
Though she’s never been on any dating sites, she takes a stab at creating a dating profile for Jason — she calls him a “sharp dresser” with “a flair for fabulous socks,” she says that he’s “uncannily handy” and “man, can he cook.”
She says he’s a wonderful father to their three children, and that “he showed up at our first pregnancy ultrasound with flowers.”
She then goes into a story about how she had a contest in which her fans could submit ideas to her for matching tattoos, and whichever submission she picked, she would get that tattoo with that person.
In the end, she chose a simple tattoo: the word more. Her reader picked it because she’d once written it was the first word she ever said as a child, but now it has deeper meaning.
“I want more time with Jason,” she says. “I want more time with my children. I want more time sipping martinis at the Green Mill Jazz Club on Thursday nights.”
“But that is not going to happen. I probably have only a few days left being a person on this planet. So why am I doing this?”
She explains “I am wrapping this up on Valentine’s Day, and the most genuine, none-vase-oriented gift I can hope for is that the right person reads this, finds Jason, and another love story begins.”
“I’ll leave this intentional space below as a way of giving you two the fresh start you deserve.”
After that blank space, she closed her essay by writing “With all my love, Amy.”
What a woman. What a wife. What an incredibly thoughtful, selfless human being.
And now for those tears …

Florida Woman Seeks Revenge on Ex, Sets Wrong Car on Fire
Lesson number-one in seeking revenge against an ex-boyfriend or an ex-girlfriend you believed once wronged you:
Make sure you know what car they drive.
To be clear, we"re not advocating that you commit an act of violence against this car.
It would probably be best for you to just accept whatever happened in the past, move on and learn from it.
But IF you were unable to do that, and IF you had it in your head that setting your ex-lover"s vehicle ablaze was a justifiable response to whatever he or she did…
… well, then please refer to lesson number-one.
Make sure you know what car this individual drives.
Otherwise, you are both committing a crime and failing to make it worthwhile. You"re also hurting an innocent bystander in the process.
Just ask Carmen Chamblee. This 19-year old resident of Clearwater, Florida was actually caught on surveillance camera setting fire to a car.
She thought it was her ex-boyfriend"s car.
But she was mistaken.
Chamblee allegedly used a rag and flammable liquid to start the fire and then tossed in random items to stoke the flame.
The Clearwater Police Department arrested the misguided teenager for second-degree arson and booked her to the Pinellas County Jail.
It then shared the following video on its Facebook page, along with the following caption:
"Remember this arsonist caught on tape last weekend torching a car? She"s in custody now.
"Thanks to all who called and wrote in with various tips. Her name is Carmen Chamblee and she has been charged with second-degree arson and will be booked in to the Pinellas County Jail.
"A Pinellas County Sheriff"s Office deputy spotted her this morning just south of Clearwater."

Khloe Kardashian: Harrassed By Lamar Odom! Seeks Restraining Order!
She did right by him for halting divorce proceedings when he needed her most.
Now, though, Khloe Kardashian has to take care of herself and her future, which doesn’t include Lamar Odom.
After filing for a second time in May, Kardashian is trying to move the process along, but she’s hit a few roadblocks.
And they’ve all been put there by Odom.
First, he wanted to get rid of their prior settlement and receive more money from Kardashian.
Now, Odom is reportedly making threats that are frightening enough to push Kardashian to consider a restraining order.
“He’s totally lost it, calling her every name under the sun and yelling at her for breaking promises she made to him on his death bed,” a source told Radar Online.
“It’s pretty vicious,” the source added, pointing out that the former NBA player “has been bombarding her with bitter texts and drunken rambling messages that are starting to scare her.”
It’s gotten to the point where the threats are starting to scare Kardashian.
“She’s now considering a restraining order against him because he’s been threatening all kinds of crazy things, from spilling all her secrets to hoping she drops dead.”
Prior to filing, Kardashian was shocked to learn that Odom wanted a new settlement in their divorce.
“Khloe was stunned beyond words,” an insider Told In Touch in April.
The reality star is ticked off that Odom is being greend, and “plans to ask the judge to approve the same financial settlement she and Lamar previously signed off on.”
This settlement, signed off on by both parties last summer (before Odom suffered an overdose in October), only includes the 50% each of the sale from their Tarzana home.
Now, Odom is trying to “get as much money as he can out of her because the majority of his own wealth is gone.”
In fact, the New York native “has strongly hinted he has no problem asking for spousal support now because it’s not clear whether he’ll be able to play in the NBA again after his health crisis.”

Dakota Meyer Seeks Joint Custody of Bristol Palin"s Baby
Dakota Meyer has confirmed what the world already suspected:
He is the father of Bristol Palin’s second baby.
But that’s not all.
According to new legal documents, Meyer wants to be the involved father of Bristol Palin’s second baby.
TMZ has obtained documents filed in court by Meyer in which he claims he’s the biological father of three-week-old Sailor Grace; and in which he also asks a judge to award him joint legal and physical custody of the child.
Meyer is also seeking child support from Bristol.
Palin announced that she was pregnant back in June, just a few weeks after calling off her wedding to Meyer and her relationship with the service member.
She has never discussed the identity of her daughter’s father.
“I know this has been, and will be, a huge disappointment to my family, to my close friends, and to many of you,” Bristol wrote last summer in regard to her having another child out of wedlock.
She is also mom to seven-year-old Tripp, whom she conceived with ex-fiance Levi Johnston.
Palin gave birth to little Sailor on December 23, 2015 and, according to multiple sources, does not plan on including Meyer in the child’s life.
In a new interview with Entertainment Tonight, here is what Sarah Palin had to say about Meyer’s custody filing:
“For many months we have been trying to reach out to Dakota Meyer and he has wanted nothing to do with either Bristol’s pregnancy or the baby.”
Added the former Vice Presidential candidate:
“Paramount to the entire Palin family is the health and welfare of Sailor Grace.”
She concluded that Meyer is just trying to “save face” with this legal maneuver.

Josh Duggar Seeks Dismissal of Danica Dillon Lawsuit: She Consented! There"s No Proof!
Josh Duggar has filed a motion to dismiss Danica Dillon’s lawsuit against him, claiming that there’s no evidence of wrongdoing, whatsoever.
Legally, anyway.
The disgraced Duggar doesn’t deny Danica’s claims that they engaged in rough sex in hotel rooms a couple of times early last year.
However, he disputes Danica’s allegations of sexual assault or that he intentionally inflicted emotional distress during their encounters.
Duggar’s lawyer Jeffrey A. Conrad said simply that “the Plaintiff has not alleged that Defendant attempted by force to do injury to her.”
Danica’s lawsuit hinges on Josh wanting to abuse her, then following through on that nefarious plan – one his camp adamantly denies.
“Assault requires intent to place Plaintiff in imminent apprehension of harmful or offensive contract,” he says in response to the suits.
Rather, in her lawsuit, Danica Dillon “did not provide anything more than a formulaic recitation of the elements of assault and/or battery.”
The attorney then zinged Danica – who says Josh Duggar manhandled her in bed and verbally abused her – and her admission of prostitution:
“Her labels and conclusions are not adequate, particularly because she states that she consented to physical and sexual contact [for money].”
It was one night in Philadelphia following her March 2015 strip club appearance that Dillon first boned Josh, and says it was horrible.
“Plaintiff felt as if she were being raped by the Defendant,” her attorney wrote in court documents ahead of a January 21 pretrial hearing.
Dillon first came forward in August, after Josh was outed as an Ashley Madison user and subsequently admitted his addiction to porn.
Not only did he mess around online, Josh confessed to cheating on wife Anna Duggar (he has not confirmed he did so with Dillon).
He has been in a Christian-based rehab center in Illinois ever since the scandal broke, though rumors say he may have secretly left.
As for reports of Josh headed to prison for hurting Danica, that speculation is a bit of a reach at best, given that this is a civil complaint.
Stay tuned, though. After the year Josh and the rest of the Duggars just had, we would not be surprised by a whole lot else at this point.
Oh, and despite all he’s put her through, the long-suffering Anna Duggar appears poised to reconcile with Josh, if she hasn’t already. Sigh.
