Tiger Woods Completes Intensive Treatment Program: What Did He Say?
Tiger Woods was arrested on DUI charges last month after police in Jupiter, Florida noticed the famous golfer was driving in bizarre fashion.
In the aftermath, it was revealed that Woods was not drunk. Instead, he was under the influence of a cocktail of prescription drugs.
The issue at hand was put down to back surgery the 41-year-old had, and he allegedly took a bad reaction to the painkillers prescribed to him by doctors at the time.
Tiger recognized that he did need some help in a statement shortly after the incident.
“I’m currently receiving professional help to manage my medications and the ways that I deal with back pain and a sleep disorder,” Woods said at the time.
“I want to thank everyone for the amazing outpouring of support and understanding especially the fans and players on tour.”
While this proved Tiger showed he was remorseful for what went down, not everyone felt like he was taking the treatment seriously.
He was spotted out and about with his kids, presumably meaning he was not in an in-patient facility. Some felt that he was using the treatment as a tactic to get a lighter sentence.
On top of that, the treatment has now been completed, with Tiger taking to Twitter to let his followers know this was not something he was just going to brush under the rug.
“I recently completed an out of state private intensive program,” he said in the statement.
“I will continue to tackle this going forward with my doctors, family, and friends. I am so very thankful for all the support I’ve received.”
With the treatment over, Woods is scheduled to appear in court on July 8. We’re unsure what the court date will hold for the gold legend, but we’ll have more clarity in the coming days.
What do you think of all of this?

Anchor Learns of Husband"s Death On Air, Completes Report
Supreet Kaur, an anchor for Indian news network IBC24, went viral over the weekend for the most tragic of reasons.
While listening to a reporter detail a two-vehicle crash in the region that featured two injuries and three fatalities, Kaur realized that her husband of 18 months, Harshad Kawade, was very likely one of the victims.
She knew the car he was driving that day and the area through which he was headed.
Somehow, though, the 28-year old journalist finished with the hour-long broadcast and only broke down after walking out of the TV studio, according to The Hindustan Times.
"She got a sense that it was her husband"s vehicle," a senior editor told the newspaper, adding:
"She read the bulletin and only when she came out of the studio, she started calling her relatives."
The editor added that Kaur’s colleagues had learned during the broadcast that Kaur"s husband as dead "but we did not tell her. We did not have the courage."
Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh Raman Singh tweeted about Kaur soon after this report concluded, writing online:
"Salute Supreet"s strength in dealing with her husband"s demise with extraordinary bravery and professionalism. May departed soul rest in peace."
The death of her husband was confirmed shortly after Kaur got up from her desk.
"She is an extremely brave lady," a colleague told the aforementioned publication.
Watch the nightmare all news anchor must have below, and join us in sending Kaur your very best wishes:

Ben Affleck Completes Rehab For Alcohol Addiction
Surprising news from Ben Affleck today, as the actor and two-time Oscar winner announced that he’s completed rehab after quietly entering a treatment facility two weeks ago.
Affleck shared the news with fans in a Facebook post just moments ago:
“I have completed treatment for alcohol addiction; something I’ve dealt with in the past and will continue to confront,” Affleck wrote.
“I want to live life to the fullest and be the best father I can be.”
He added that he was inspired by his children to seek treatment and seemed to confirm that he is still separated from Jennifer Garner, writing:
“I want my kids to know there is no shame in getting help when you need it, and to be a source of strength for anyone out there who needs help but is afraid to take the first step.
“I’m lucky to have the love of my family and friends, including my co-parent, Jen, who has supported me and cared for our kids as I’ve done the work I set out to do. This was the first of many steps being taken towards a positive recovery.”
In recent weeks, there have been rumors of Affleck and Garner calling off their divorce.
Ben referring to his estranged wife as a “co-parent” seems to confirm that those reports were not entirely accurate.
Affleck has admitted to struggling with alcoholism in the past, and he’s often credited Garner with helping him to remain sober.
Sources close to the actor say he wanted to wait until after the last month’s Academy Awards ceremony to enroll in a treatment program, and was happy to be on hand when his brother, Casey Affleck, won the Oscar for Best Actor.
Reps for Ben have not offered any additional information.
The Facebook statement is believed to be Ben’s way of getting in front of the news cycle so as to avoid being subjected to the usual round of rumors and speculation.
Affleck first completed rehab back in 2001, checking into the Promises treatment facility in Malibu.
He is said to have been sober for the majority of the intervening years, falling off the wagon around the time of his separation from Garner in 2015.
We wish Ben and his family all the best.

Kim Richards Completes One Year of AA, Lands New Reality Show Gig
We never thought we’d be able to say this, but it looks like things are on the upswing for troubled Housewife Kim Richards.
As we reported last week, Kim is 60 days sober, and now it looks as thought she’s completed one of the many requirements of her probation.
According to TMZ, Kim has attended one full year of Alcoholics Anonymous meetings.
Like we said, she’s only two months sober, so clearly she fell off the wagon at least once, but the good news is that Kim has complied with the court’s requirements thus far, by not missing a single weekly meeting.
Despite being arrested twice in the span of four months, Richards avoided jail time and received a pretty light slap on the wrist.
Both cases required her to attend 52 AA meetings, but she was allowed to serve her sentences concurrently, so if she wants, Kim can now go the rest of her life without sitting on a folding chair in a church basement.
More good news: Kim is in talks to film a new reality show in which she and daughter Kimberly Jackson work on their troubled relationship.
The series will feature several mother-daughter couples, including Heidi Montag and her mom, so we guess Kim isn’t getting off entirely scot-free.
Oh, and there’s still the matter of Kim’s community service.
The judge rejected her bid to do cushy work because of her supposed medical problems, so keep an eye out for Kim spearing trash in an orange jumpsuit next time you’re driving down the 405.
