The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 8 Episode 6 Recap: Wham, Glam, Thank You Ma’am

Teddi Mellencamp was done putting up with Dorit Kemsley’s lies on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 8 Episode 6, and she set out to make her feelings known. 

When the episode kicked off, Teddi was throwing a spa day for the ladies as a thank you for the girls bringing her Las Vegas for her birthday.

Teddi was quick to get to the point and asked Dorit to arrive an hour early because she wanted to have a chat with her. In the biggest surprise of the season, Dorit showed up on time. 

Did hell freeze over? Nope, but Dorit looked smug as hell that she managed to show up on time. The ladies went around in circles as they debated about which time they were meant to meet. 

It was tiring and petty, but things got exciting when they said the other was talking smack to the other cast members. In the end, they agreed to drop it, but that’s not to say they were friends. 

In all honesty, their feud seems like one for the ages, and we still have a lot of episodes left to witness them duke it out. 

When Camille Grammer arrived, Dorit felt like it was a good idea to kill two birds with one stone, and apologized for calling her a “stupid c–t.”

Camille wanted to let Dorit stew for a little and told her another shocking comment Dorit said that night. 

“Camille, I want you to be a Godfather and put on a strap-on,” Camille recalled with a look of disgust. 

While the two women put the past behind them, Camille took to her confessional to say that Dorit is not her type of woman and that she has no idea whether she could be friends with her. 

This seems like another feud, and we’re loving every minute of it. The franchise is dull without feuds so keep ‘em coming. 

Remember the big revelation that there was a lawsuit against Ken Todd for assault? Well, we finally got some much-needed insight into it. 

The suit is from their former dog rescue partner, and the woman claimed that Ken got physical with her during a confrontation about the business. 

As expected, Lisa denied the whole thing, and she seemed dead set on proving her husband’s innocence during the difficult time. 

Lisa dished all about it to her best pal, Kyle Richards, but the two ladies also chatted about whether Lisa Rinna should be put on blast for bringing it up. 

If you watch The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills online, you will already know that Rinna brought the lawsuit up at a recent dinner party. 

Vanderpump has been against Rinna in the past for the way she does things. 

Ultimately, she decided to let Rinna off the hook because it was all over the media.

Christina El Moussa Goes Glam, Continues to Taunt Ex-Husband

Christina El Moussa and Tarek El Moussa haven’t criticized each other very much in public since splitting up last spring.

Not with their mouths, that is.

But if a picture really is worth 1,000 words, then these Flip or Flop co-hosts won’t shut the heck up about each other.

The photographic feud got underway when Christina shared a number of bikini photos on Instagram last week.

They took followers behind the scenes of a photo shoot with her daughter and they included the home designer joking around with donuts and her bulldog.

They were interpreted by the celebrity gossip community as direct shots at Tarek, however.

Chatter of El Moussa’s “revenge body” circulated around the Internet, with most assuming she was taunting Tarek with a reminder of the cleavage he’ll never get to touch ever again.

Heck, Christina even referenced a “new boyfriend” in one of the revealing images:

How did Tarek respond to this sultry set of two-piece snapshot?

By taking off most of his own clothes!

For real!

The reality star apparently has stayed mostly quiet since filing for divorce in December because he’s been busy drinking protein shakes and lifting weights.

The result?

An incredibly ripped body that Tarek showed off online yesterday, getting all oiled up for a set of poses and clearly sending a message right back to Christina:

But Christina is intent on having the final word photo.

Mixing things up in her subtle back-and-forth with Tarek, El Moussa posted a new image on her social media account last night, mere hours after Tarek’s muscles went viral.

This one doesn’t show much skin.

But it does prove how Christina can pull off a bathing suit and an evening gown with equal, beautiful aplomb.

“Loved playing dress up in this gorgeous dress by @waltercollection … credit the super talented @damir_k #oldhollywoodglam,” Christina wrote as a caption to the following picture.

Not bad, huh?

El Moussa has amassed over 766,000 Instagram followers in her recent quest to break free from Tarek.

She has sat down for a handful of interview with various entertainment outlets and she’s made a point to update her Instagram page with contrasting photos.

Look, there’s one of her in a bikini!

There’s one of her with her kids!

There’s a shot of her being all goofy with her dog!

These Christina El Moussa pictures are clearly meant to increase the reality star’s profile, as sources indicate she’s angling for her very own spinoff series.

Will she get it? We can’t say at the moment.

But Christina is also taking the high road any chance she gets when asked about her marriage/divorce.

“It is what it is and we are going through a divorce and eventually we will be dating other people,” she told People Magazine a few weeks ago.

“I’m happy for him and whatever steps he takes in his life and I just hope he’s happy.”

Christina later told Entertainment Tonight that she’s in a “really good place,” adding:

“The kids are happy, they’re healthy, Tarek and I are in a good spot.

“We have a lot of things that we’re working on, cool things coming in the future, so we’re just looking forward.”

Chrissy Metz Goes Glam for Harper"s Bazaar, Sets Inspiring Example

Chrissy Metz has taken America by storm as Kate Pearson.

Playing one of the beloved characters on NBC’s This Is Us, Metz has become a role model for plus-sized women who never thought their body type would be accepted in a leading role on television.

But Metz hasn’t just become accepted.

She’s become a role model.

In the April issue of Harper’s Bazaar, editors even refer to Metz as “Hollywood’s New Pin-Up Girl.”

It’s a title and a pictorial that Metz never (ever, ever, EVER) dreamed she would receive.

“When I first heard Harper’s Bazaar wanted me to be sexy. I was like, ‘Who, me?"” Metz tells the magazine, adding in its feature story:

“I knew y’all were edgy but this is incredible – it’s validation.”

The actress couldn’t contain her excitement on Twitter, either, linking to the official Harper’s Bazaar website and writing online:

“What an amazing honor and privilege full of self discovery! Thank you, thank you, thank you, @harpersbazaarus for this feature and fun.”

The photo shoot paints Metz in a very glamorous light, featuring the rising star in a red swimsuit, as well as a sleeveless, pinup girl-style polka dot sundress.

“I want to wear something because I love it,” the 36-year-old actress says of her style. “Not because it follows the rules.”

It’s pretty clear that Metz isn’t concerned very much with what others think.

Such self-confidence likely helped her land a role on a series that’s already been renewed for two additional seasons.

“If I ever end up on the worst-dressed list, it’s not going to make me fall apart,” she explains, adding:

“I want to look great and feel good and be comfortable, but at the same time, none of this really matters. This is the fun stuff.”

Those who watch This Is Us online or on television each week have fun seeing Metz and her co-stars in action.

But they also have themselves a good cry one or two dozen times per episode as well.

This is an especially sentimental and emotional drama, and it’s one Metz could not be more proud to work on.

She thinks it’s a prime example of how series regulars need not fit into any sort of preconceived notion of beauty or appearance.

“There’s more room for all of us now,” Metz tells Harper’s Bazaar. “No matter our sexuality, race, body size, gender or whatever else.”

And thank goodness for that, right?!?
