The moment that stole the show at the 2017 Academy Awards was a decidedly unscripted one:
The announcement for the night"s top honor was botched in epic fashion, leading to La La Land being announced as Best Picture, when the voters had actually selected Moonlight.
But once it was all sorted out and the Steve Harvey jokes were made, the right film took home the Oscar, and everyone was happy.
Well, except for the people who were digitally roasted in the evening"s Mean Tweets segment.
If you"re a regular Jimmy Kimmel Live! viewer, you know that the late night host and noted Matt Damon hater regularly has celebrities read Twitter"s harshest burns about themselves on his show.
Last night, he subjected recent Oscar nominees to the same treatment, and while the tweets were arguably milder than usual, it was still fun to see Hollywood"s best and brightest react to harsh observations to the tune of "Everybody Hurts."
"Samuel L. Jackson has resting fart face," tweeted one online insult comic.
"Emma Stone looks like a crack whore in every role she plays," observed another aspiring Don Rickles.
Of course, real talent is when you can use one Oscar winner to insult another, like the hero who tweeted:
"Casey Affleck is the real life version of Billy Bob Thornton"s character in Sling Blade."

Ryan Gosling: Cheating on Eva Mendes With Emma Stone?
If you’ve been paying attention to the marketing campaign for La La Land, you know that Hollywood two hours fellating itself with song is just what America needs during these troubled times.
We hear there’s a scene in which Ryan Gosling croons about various strategies to fix Obamacare without repealing, all while performing a Gene Kelly soft-shoe that will just melt your grandmother’s heart.
We kid – it’s really just good-looking people whitesplaining jazz and wearing brightly-colored clothing, but you know they’re gonna invent new Oscars for to give this thing anyway.
It’s baffling from the outside, but when you think of the film industry you need to picture that scene where Patrick Bateman flexes in the mirror while having sex with a hooker in American Psycho.
Now you’ve got the idea.
Anyway, what does all of this have to do with Eva Mendes, Ryan Gosling, and Emma Stone?
Well, the latter two star in La La Land, and we’re physically incapable of talking about that movie without starting with how wildly overrated it is.
Anyway, if you’ve seen any award shows this season, and you weren’t overly distracted by Winona Ryder’s facial expressions, you probably noticed that Ryan and Emma act like a couple of BFFFs at all times.
That’s “best friends forever (who) f-ck.”
Eva Mendes certainly noticed it, and she’s reportedly (and justifiably) pretty pissed off.
A source tells Radar Online that Eva is sick of seeing Ryan and Emma make googly eyes at each other like they’re starring in some musical love letter to the city of Los Angeles.
“Ryan keeps insisting that there’s nothing going on with Emma,” an insider tells Radar Online.
The source adds that Ryan sees one clear strategy for making his baby mama realize how serious he is about their relationship.
That’s right – he wants to get Mendes pregnant again.
“He is hoping that another baby will make Eva see how committed he is to her,” the source claims.
Look, Ryan and Eva collaborating on a child might be the only thing more beautiful than Ryan and Emma collaborating on a song about the power of dreams, but Band-Aid babies are never the answer.
And apparently Eva agrees:
“She feels like Ryan has turned her into a baby-making machine,” says the insider.
Sadly, Eva will is in for a whole lot more of Ryan and Emma blowing America away with their cuteness, as LLL is sure to clean up at the 2017 Oscars.
Look, we get that it’s an attractive piece of fluff at a time when people are desperate to forget that a pair of tiny tantrum hands are doing their best to tear the Constitution apart.
But can everyone stop calling this movie “risky,” like it’s a VR remake of Eraserhead?
The only way you could have made this thing safer Oscar bait is by adding Colin Firth.
In conclusion, Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone probably aren’t boning.
We hope the Academy will take this unhinged, misleadingly titled rant into consideration come voting time. Thank you.

Ryan Gosling Gushes Over Eva Mendes at Golden Globes
Ryan Gosling is many things:
Gorgeous. Talented. Funny. Humble. Smooth.
And did we mention gorgeous?
But one thing Gosling has also been well known for is his privacy.
The actor has been linked to Eva Mendes for years. The stars have one child together and a second on the way and yet… do you ever see them in public? Do you ever hear one talking about the other?
Not really, right?
At the 2017 Golden Globes, however, Gosling earned the trophy for best actor in a musical or comedy for his role in La La Land.
After joking about Ryan Reynolds, Gosling turned serious, talking at length about Mendes, even without mentioning her by name.
"I just would like to try and thank one person properly, and say that while I was singing and dancing and playing piano and having one the best experiences I’ve ever had on a film, my lady was raising our daughter, pregnant with our second and trying to help her brother fight his battle with cancer,” Gosling said while accepting the award.
“If she hadn’t taken all that on so that I could have this experience, would surely be someone else up here other than me to today. Sweetheart, thank you."
Pretty amazing, no?

Brandi Glanville has said and done a lot of questionable things over the years, and she’s got plenty of social media haters as a result.
But she may soon feel the wrath of the Internet like never before thanks to comments she made about beloved actor/meme inspiration Ryan Gosling.
In addition to his chiseled physique, his work in numerous acclaimed films, and the fact that he seems like an all-around nice guy, Gosling knows how to say all the right things in interviews.
Case in point: Earlier this week, the Baby Goose told a UK magazine that he believes women are better than men.
That’s the kind of comment that makes people like a celebrity more.
Brandi Glanville takes a very different tack when it comes to the media.
She likes to say obnoxious things to goad the press into reporting about how she kinda sucks.
Cases in point: When she calls her friends “cowards” and “c-nts,” or when she calls Ryan Gosling a “mangina”:
In the clip above, Brandi and Aubrey O’Day – her co-star on the upcoming VH1 reality series Famously Single – played a game of “F–k, Marry, Kill” with Gosling, Leonardo DiCaprio and Chris Hemsworth as the subjects.

Not only would she kill Ryan, she dismisses him as a “magina” who “doesn’t do it for her.”

Ryan Gosling Says Women Make Him Better, Will Get Laid Forever
Divine, chocolate-covered Ryan Gosling hath spoken.
“I think women are better than men,” he told ES Magazine while in London promoting The Nice Guys.
Do you hear that?
That is the sound of men everywhere racing to the Self-Help section of their nearest Barnes & Noble.
“I’ve always liked women more,” Gosling went on.
“I was brought up by my mother and older sister. I found my way into dance class. My home life now is mostly women. They are better than us. They make me better.”
Go on, my beautiful Gosling.
“They are stronger. More evolved.”
And then, without the journalist needing to prod into his personal life (a topic which was off-limits), Gosling mentioned his growing family (albeit briefly).
“You can tell especially when you have daughters [Gosling has two, Esmeralda, 18 months and one-month-old Amada with girlfriend, Eva Mendes] and you see their early stages, they are just leaps and bounds beyond boys immediately.”
And yes, he does think a female president is just what the Oval Office needs.
“I think it needs a woman’s touch,” he said, careful not to elaborate further on his political views.

The Canadian-born actor has seen the way men behave around women, and thinks it’s time they got a taste of their own medicine.
“‘It’s our time as men to be on the receiving end of the stick. I grew up with women so I’ve always been aware of it.
“When my mother and I walked to the grocery store, men would circle the block in cars,” Gosling recalled.
“It was very scary, especially as a young boy. Very predatory; a hunt.”
Even at his manliest, Gosling still feels feminine.
“I’d say 49 per cent, sometimes 47 per cent,” he admitted.
“It depends on what day you catch me.”

Eva Mendes and Ryan Gosling Welcome Baby #2!
Well, that didn’t take long.
Just a few weeks after news broke that Eva Mendes and Ryan Gosling were expecting their second child together, even more exciting news broke:
The child is here!!!!
Neither the intensely private actor nor the very private actress has confirmed the birth of their baby.
However, according to the birth certificate – which was obtained by TMZ – the famous parents have named their daughter Amada Lee Gosling.
She was actually born back on April 29 at 8:03 a.m. at Providence St. John’s Health Center in Santa Monica.
And, no, that is not a typo. The document lists her name as Amada, not Amanda.
The newborn’s unusual first name should actually sound familiar to fans of Mendes and Gosling: their first-born daughter is named Esmeralda Amada Gosling.
After she welcomed Esmeralda into the world, Mendes said she wanted first and middle names that represented her Hispanic heritage because their daughter has Gosling’s surname.
To their credit, Mendes and Gosling have always kept their personal lives mostly private; heck they have not even shared a picture of their little first girl publicly yet.
Somewhere, this fact is causing the head of Kim Kardashian to explode in confusion.
So while we don’t expect to hear from either star any time soon, an insider close to Mendes and Gosling told E! News shortly the former gave birth to Esmeralda that the celebrities are loving parenthood.
“They’ve settled so well into their new family of three,” the source said.
“Ryan is very hands on and has been taking the baby after the early morning feed so Eva can sleep in a bit. He sings the baby song… they are both madly in love with this child.”
As for what the Internet will have to say about this news?

Eva Mendes & Ryan Gosling: Expecting Second Child!
Congratulations are in order for Eva Mendes and Ryan Gosling.
The couple are expecting their second child together, according to Us Weekly, which reported that “multiple sources” have confirmed the news.
Thus far, there’s no word on how far along she is in her pregnancy or the sex of the baby.
Mendes has been taking a break from the spotlight, so there’s not even a pic of the bump to comment on.
The genetically blessed couple have been dating since 2011, after they met on the set of The Place Beyond the Pines.
They welcomed their first baby, Esmerelda Amada, in 2014.
During Mendes’ first pregnancy, the pair kept the baby news secret for some time. But the laws of basic biology eventually precluded them from hiding it for too long.
Now that little Esmerelda is here, the couple couldn’t be happier.
“She and Ryan are just in awe of this beautiful person they created,” a source close to Mendes told People. “It’s a really special time for them.”
And while breakup rumors have flitted about as they do with every celebrity couple, Gosling has done nothing but gush over his longtime love.
“I know that I’m with the person I’m supposed to be with,” he told HELLO! last December.
When asked what he looks for in a mate, he gave a response that left half the female population in a mournful search for Ben & Jerry’s and Xanax.
“That she’s Eva Mendes,” Gosling said. “There’s nothing else I’m looking for.”
And that’s a freaking leading man for you.

Last night"s People"s Choice Awards was the year"s first opportunity for celebs to put on a fancy dress and pose for a few photos.

Ryan Gosling Talks About Eva Mendes, Women Everywhere Weep

Ryan Gosling was all kinds of loved up during an interview with HELLO! Magazine.
Gosling fell for girlfriend Eva Mendes while filming The Place Beyond the Pines in 2011, and on September 12th, 2014, the couple welcomed daughter Esmerelda.
“I know that I’m with the person I’m supposed to be with,” he told HELLO!.
And what does he look for in a woman?
“That she’s Eva Mendes,” Gosling said. “There’s nothing else I’m looking for.”

The parents are looking forward to the holidays this year, since Esmerelda is a little older.

“She and Ryan are just in awe of this beautiful person they created. It’s a really special time for them.”
Gosling was recently accused of cheating on Mendes with La La Land co-star Emma Stone, who allegedly tried to break the couple up.
“Unnamed insiders reported that Ryan and Eva decided to give things one more try and want to give Esmeralda a baby brother or sister,” Celebrity Dirty Laundry claimed at the time.

Emma Stone: Attempting to Steal Ryan Gosling From Eva Mendes?!
Emma Stone and Ryan Gosling have worked together on multiple films, and the actors have gushed about their fondness or each other in multiple interviews.
Unfortunately, it seems the Emma and Ryan may have different ideas about the nature of their off-camera relationship.
As you may have heard Stone broke up with Andrew Garfield in April after several years of dating.
Shortly thereafter, we began to hear rumors that Gosling was cheating on Eva Mendes with Stone, but nothing ever came of the affair allegations.
Now, the folks over at Celeb Dirty Laundry are reporting that Gosling and Mendes briefly broke up as a result of his romancing the Stone, and Emma did everything in her power to ensure that the couple stayed separated.
Despite Stone’s best efforts, the website reports that “unnamed insiders reported that Ryan and Eva decided to give things one more try and want to give Esmeralda a baby brother or sister.”
Further complicating matters is the fact that Garfield is reportedly trying his best to win Stone back, but she only has eyes for Gosling.
Sound like quite the Hollywood love quadrilateral. It seems fitting that the film that Gosling and Stone recently completed filming is entitled La La Land.

Ryan Gosling: Cheating on Eva Mendes With Emma Stone?!
When the world learned that Eva Mendes was pregnant with Ryan Gosling’s baby, fans of the A-list heartthrob mourned the fact that he was apparently off the market for good.
A year after the birth of Esmeralda Amada, however, Mendes and Gosling are no closer to tying the knot, and one tabloid claims to know the reason why.
Gosling is currently filming La La Land with Emma Stone. It’s the actors’ third movie together, and Gosling has been known to gush about his close friendship and chemistry with his “work wife.”
Many in Hollywood reportedly believe that Gosling and Stone’s relationship is more than just professional, and sources say Mendes is beginning to believe the rumors.
“It doesn’t matter how many times Ryan tells Eva that he and Emma are just friends, she knows there’s an attraction there,” a source close to Mendes tells Star magazine.
“Eva stops by the set and constantly calls Ryan to see what he’s up to. If she gets his voicemail, she’ll text and text until he gets back to her. Despite Ryan’s best efforts to soothe her suspicions, Eva remains unconvinced.”
Stone broke up with Andrew Garfield back in April amidst rumors of his infidelity, and insiders say Gosling served as her shoulder to cry on.
It was reportedly during that time that Mendes became suspicious.
“Her number one priority is their daughter, Esmeralda. Eva wants to know what her options are, should she decide to end her relationship with Ryan,” says the source.
“She’s consulted a lawyer about gaining primary custody of their baby girl, since Ryan’s always working. Eva doesn’t want a custody battle, but she knows Ryan won’t give Esmeralda up without a fight – so she wants to be prepared.”
Yes, the bad news is Ryan and Eva might soon be through. The worse news is that might be jumping right into another serious relationship. Sorry, ladies.
